They are both based on the same novel, each country gave their version a different tone.
I think it's always interesting for the viewers to watch both and decide the pros and cons of both.

Both are slice-of-life dramas that are light-hearted comedies. The main characters give off similar vibes even when one of them is serious about life and the other is happy-go-lucky.

Another family business drama with very similar plot and characters. Wayne Lai is even more funny in this one and Steven Ma was a fantastic lead.

Both genres are similar in the way that the male lead falls for the same soul in different bodies…


PS. You’ll have to first watch season 1 of Alchemy of Souls if you weren’t aware that it exists.
