Both of these microfilm specials can be watched independently of their parent stories. They both present an nostalgic and emotional tale in their short timeframe that makes you feel deeply touched by their love for each other.
Both are historical with a rich, brutally gorgeous aesthetic. Both feature clowns and a king on the edge of insanity.
-Child abandonment

Same exact stories. Kichiku (2017) is a remake of The Demon (1978).
Set in a similar time period. Both are more comedic sageuks but also have a story with some emotional weight. MLs are both scrappy but powerful. Sweet romance in both that is well balanced with the other storylines. My Only Love Song is a bit sillier, but they have similar tones. If you enjoyed one give the other a try!
- Loner FL and ML who loves her no matter what
- Similar vibe
- Same issues in the relationship
- Similar background/backstory of FL
- In LITC it also covers relationship of other couples as well, whereas in THL it doesn't

Children are abandoned/neglected by their family. A precocious boy must adapt and learn to survive.
both are in a fantasy setting (time travel/manhwa characters) and FLs learn to use that to their advantage. because of that they realize how mean their one-sided SML crush is and discover the initially quiet and mysterious male lead
not much similarities apart from the fact that they are both bl shows with handsome MLS but both shows gave me the same feeling and I feel like if you like one of them, you'd also like watching the other so pls give both tharntype and vice versa a shot! hope u enjoy :)
the main couple of history3 modc made a cameo in ep4, totally unexpected but precious moment indeed!!
Star in My Mind is Part 1 of the Star and Sky series.
Dunk and Joong play the main characters.
This is similarly set in a university/school setting.
If you enjoy their on-screen chemistry/acting, this may also interest you.

Sky In Your Heart is Part 2 of the Star and Sky series so be wary of that going in.
Otherwise, Joong and Dunk are also in this series (albeit as the B couple).

Both have similar concepts and themes - a ML or SML who has been chained up for decades, people living in an area with an evil miasma, and characters that are shades of grey. Both MLs are accused of being demons and hunted down by the "righteous" sects/people.
Both dramas are about an adult that looks after a little girl. Both adults develop parent like feelings for the child and both dramas have as a theme finding family and making your family. Both are wonderful heart warming stories
