Both have male lead changing daily. In Beauty Inside the person inside stays the same but outside changes, in Wednesday is Missing it is the opposite.

Both have a hearing-impaired ML who has distanced himself from the world since he started losing his hearing.

A naive girl from another world chases the cold guy and makes him totally in love with herself. Both are super funny and have lots of kisses, especially Dear Herbal Lord has many good kiss scenes.

They both have time travel as the main theme with a mysterious object that helps them travel back to the past. Both of the main characters go back to the past to save someone who died and the setting is based in high school.

Both of these BLs revolve around two students (classmates in "His, Cat", and student/tutor in "You Had Me At Hello") who discover feelings for each other while studying together. This newfound dynamic catches the attention of concerned relatives who plead for their separation.

Both movies are set at the same luxury members only Regal Club. The ML in My Harakuro Boss (MHB) was a supporting character in Overbearing Love (OL). ML from OL has guest role in MHB.
