Both guys seek revenge for their families that got ruined because of some evil rich man who has a pretty innocent righteous daughter that later falls in love with the guy seeking the revenge. They remind me a lot of each other.

I would bet good money that Kim Ji Woo watched "One Million Stars" before writing "The Devil". There are numerous parallels between the plots, characters and themes as both shows explore issues of moral culpability and the lasting impact of violence. There are significant differences as well, and it's fascinating to watch how the shows diverge despite starting with similar premises.

Although they are set in different eras, the movies are similar in their fight against an oppressive regime. They have a similar feel to it, in terms of action and the buildup to the climax. Both have very well shot action scenes and wonderful camera work.

Both shows have a lot of suspense and action. The story is about a teenage boy that is involved (because of blood ties (in HTE) or by being a talented hacker (in BM)) in a struggle of law enforcement against terrorists. In both shows the protagonists gradually, step by step, find out the real intentions of the criminals and (may be) "save the world" in the end.

Both dramas focus around law and court cases, although they are on different sides with I Hear Your Voice being about public defenders and Prosecutor Princess being about prosecutors. The main female leads also go through amazing character development in both dramas and the romance is also super cute.

Chonmage is another touching father and son story. Chonmage Purin tends to be more humorous and has a fantastical plot, while Like Father, Like Son takes a more somber approach to fatherhood and tends to be more realistic.
