First of all they are not similar at all. I recommend this only to those that wish to see a whole other side of Lee Soo Jin and his acting. One might even say that they are polar opposites seeing that one is a light comedy while the other is a tragic melo. If you need a good cry after laughing or the other way around do give the other a go.
Everyday life couldnt be more hilarious. In both drama the mcs are trying to follow their dreams but alas. They keep failing while finding themselves in many random ridiculous events. There is romance, there is friendship and there is lots of funny moments. Mind you though that where Modern Farmer leans more on the slice of life Dr Park's Clinic focuses more on the humour.
If you like the way the ML and FL are competing with each other using strategy and wisdom in the autumn ballad, you'll definitely like General and I.
Both drama are comedy that deals with ridiculous events in everyday life. In both drama the main character tries to achieve his dream but finds himself failing for various reasons. Family, friendship and love dynamics that are always under the prism of humour. Some touching moments on the very top to mix it all together.
Comedy, comedy, comedy. Both drama are webtoon adaptations that are about hilarious situations in everyday life settings. Also in both drama you will see family and work dynamics. (That are of course ridiculous most of the times).
Both drama are comedies and webtoon adaptations. While there are high chances in making you laugh, they both have some touching moments.

Hidden identity, both series are Adapted From A Novel.

For the first few episode of "Shining for One thing" , i was reminded of "Orange". The parallel universe and the death are the main component of the two stories. But, the whole plot is different. The first one is more romantic and mysterious. While the second one is more serious and mellow because of the mental health topic inside.
The realistic parts, the healing vibe, the mental health topic that was brought by the story. We could find them in these two dramas. That's why i was enchanted by them.
Going through the adulthood period is not easy. Every person is dealing with their own problem. Some people, because of some risk factors, need to endure more hardship. But, form those two dramas, i find hopes. The girls' friendship is a precious component there.
Note: The second one has more comedic scenes

The main similarity is that both deals with the confusion and accepting the feelings the MCs have for each other . And the cinematography is pleasant and artistic in both the series. The overall setting takes place in a quite place with tons of natural beauty. It's definitely a roller coaster of emotions.
Both shows are bl and have a male lead who's colour blind, they see the world in various shades of black, white and grey.
