Romantic Comedy Drama
-Both drama settings revolve around the art gallery.
- Female Leads are both knowledgeable to paintings
- Rich and Arrogant Male leads

A little more action but also a spy drama set in the Japanese occupation and the fight between KMT and Communist

- both protagonists are high school students
- both protagonists have very toxic family relationships
- both stories revolve around teenagers who try all sorts of illegal things to get money
- both stories touch on societal issues and mental health (tw: violence, bullying, self harm)

but, extracurricular is a show while young adult matters is a movie. and, their motives for illegally getting money are different from each other.

Both dramas are historical dramas with fantastical elements that stars Lee Joon Gi as the lead male actor. In Scholar, Lee Joon Gi is the more mystical character while in Arang, the love interest is the more mystical character. Actor Han Jung Soo appears as a “hunter of sorts” in both dramas.
Qualitywise, I find Arang and the Magistrate so much better, people should try Arang even if they find Scholar boring.

It's a whodunnit just the same though romance does take a backseat. Also about a woman entering a profession as the first of her gender in a male dominated industry. Has a lot to do with betrayal of close friends but of the male leads. It's quite interesting how similar the two are. Both female leads are intelligent and strong, charismatic characters that never give in or up on their mission to find the truth.

its pretty similar to me because of the cold bad boy and a nice girl, and the vibes are pretty similar
i personally like both so you can totally check it out

Both dramas are heartwarming in a way because the main characters father dies and leaves them alone. The main character then has to live life without any family, that is until "family" shows up. Both characters work in a business with this new family. There is also LGBTQ+ representation in both of them.

Itaewon Class
The main character gets out of prison and decides to take revenge on a man who is half responsible for his fathers death. He wants to take revenge by outdoing the mans business. While planning revenge, he meets some people that make him feel he still has a family.

Move To Heaven
The main character is a young boy with autism, the boys father dies and he can't be left alone. So the boy's uncle gets called in to look after him. The uncle just got out of jail for beating someone up in a fight. The boy continues to work for the business that he and his father used to run, but instead of working with his father, he has to work with his uncle.
-A type of business to help the deceased and their loved ones
-Life, drama, family
-Very heartwarming and very sad
-Digs into multiple people's issues

An experienced surgeon set himself out in a private hospital to help patients in the community. He has to work against the hospital surgeons and management to get approval fir his treatment. Very entertaining and the audience has to chase after his adventure once the drama starts

King eternal has the parallel dimension storyline, when I saw "Tomorrow I'll meet the yesterday you", this drama came to my mind. Both has fated love partner. In both the shows, They save eachother through the different time portals and parallel dimensions!

One of the main characters in both series has a father that dies, after their father dies they get motivation to make their fathers wishes come true which is to destroy or to outdo some other business or company(the ones that ended up killing their fathers). Both MLs meet a FL that will help them with this. In both dramas, the main MLs find a new "family" that will change them for the better. Both dramas also have slight LGBTQ+ representation. Both dramas have a set of brothers, the older brothers own or run the bigger business that the main characters have to outdo or destroy. Both younger brothers don't like their older brothers and join the MLs side. A lot of funny side characters and comedy included in both. Some romance included, but isn't the main focus. Both have serious MLs that open up to their new "family". Both pretty much focus on revenge.

-Some dude who gets out of prison with a huge developed plan
-Food and life
-Not as dark, brighter

(Personally I liked Vincenzo better, Itaewon Class is still so good though)

In both shows a group of people are taken to an island and have to survive. There can only be one survivor though.

Squid Game
-The people have to play children games .
-The people had a choice whether to play or not.
-There is a prize for the winner.
-The characters are mostly adults who are in dept.
-A little less violent.

Battle Royale
-The people have to kill each other.
-The people have no choice and have to play.
-There is no prize, unless you live.
-The characters are a group of high schoolers from the same class.
-Probably more violent.

This time a female enters a school without having to hide her identity, and everyone knows she's a girl.

Six young individuals undergo training to becomes spies in order to defend their country. Despite their disparate backgrounds and personalities, the six begin to grow as a team through numerous life and death missions.

A famous, talented, and well-loved writer enrolls in the academy in his own right and without taking the entrance exam. Unexpectedly, this good-looking, gifted young man turns out to be a girl, and many men eventually fall for her.
