After watching Rebel Princess, I kept thinking of the chemistry between the leads in The Rise of the Phoenixes. A lot of emperor court politics. Both are great drama that keeps you on edge wondering what's next but RP does a better job on the next plots and storyline.

Both started off as a cheesy slapstick fantasy comedy. But somehow along the way, deeper social commentaries came through all their nonsense. Gradually, we started to see them as more than one-dimension characters.

I remembered feeling like their was innocent yet sensual acts between leads that gave out such great chemistry.
Honestly I love a good romance drama that the lead couple takes it to next level…
I don’t necessarily want to see the details but in real life if a couple has that great of a chemistry then it’s only natural to add sex in the equation.
Also both dramas had their leads in a pretend fake love relationship to start with and both ended up falling in love during the process

The plot of both dramas are a little similar, just without the "true loves kiss" ordeal. The dramas have fairly different but obvious similarities.

The main similarities:
•The female lead is capable of turning from cat to human
•The female leads both come from "Meow Planet"

The relationship between the leads in Make a Wish is really cute & the acting of Gia Ge, the FL, is commendable. You truly believe she is a cat turned human. Give it a try and see how you like it!

Both of them include supernatural elements. The main lead has some sort of power like how Naoya has a power. He is recruited as an assistant to a mysterious guy and they work together to solve problems.

Both ML's are kind of special. In YSMD the ML doesn't have senses, doesn't know emotions and he's kind of innocent to love because of that. In MDB the ML has the same innocence, he doesn't know how to differentiate emotions especially love. Both FL's arrive in unfamiliar surroundings and want to escape as soon as possible but end up slowly falling in love with the clueless ML.

Like the others, it has the same vibes. Both have the slight "romantic" theme, less gore, but same betrayal AND badass women.
