Soft/sweet/calm vibes and atmosphere
Fruit has a stronger romance element, in my heart leaps up there isnt much progression and everything stays a mostly innocent crush

Both are slow burn japanese movies about two guys becoming unexpectedly close. Theres lots of underlying tension, frustration, longing/yearning, secret crushing in both and a similar kind of gloomy atmosphere.

Short romcom shows with a gay romance
male lead is a late bloomer with little romantic experience and becomes romantically entangled with someone he works with
lots of likable side characters
Colors' focus lies less on the romance (especially in the middle section) but i still think its an enjoyable show

Both are short Chinese BL dramas with very similar vibes. Set in the summer, surrounded by lychees, question of fleeting romance or something more.

They are both wuxia dramas, with strong FL's and ML's.
For both the FL's come across as weak but are secretly as strong if not stronger than the ML's leads.
They are both "touch her and you die tropes".
They are also both "she fell first but he fell harder tropes".

both are boys love dramas with darker themes, crime/solving a crime setting
the mcs start off as enemies due to being/having been on two sides of a spectrum (in Trapped one is a gangster, the other is a police officer, in Prosecutors proposal one is the son of a 'murderer' the other is the sun of a murder victim)
the characters are interested in uncovering the truth behind a case/murder
have to work together against all odds which brings them together romantically

Both are short japanese indie/low budget dramas uploaded to youtube with subs. Both feature a romance between two guys too.
Shujin-Ko, though, focuses on multiple mains and on college/university students while colors is about 30ys/40ys and more "grown" struggles.

Raw, devastating, brutal coming of age stories. Focus lies on several (queer) high school students who have to deal with (extreme) school bullying, homophobia, having to hide their identity and struggling to open up to others, and even S/A. Theres kind of a romance between two characters and some solidarity/friendship building but dont expect happy endings for all.

Both are short and sweet japanese gay love stories. Male lead, despite being thirty years old, has not made any sexual experiences ever, is very inexperienced when it comes to love and generally a little socially awkward. After he turns thirty, though, he becomes unexpectedly involved with another guy whom he works with.
(Plus theres a delivery guy side character in both)
Colors is less of a romance, though, and more of a slice of life story.
