SSofFV is a far more compelling wuxia where the fighting make sense in the story and the choreography of the fights is so creative it is like dancing. ZZA seems to overly 'trigger' a fight every other minute (like Blood River) but starts to run out of steam in regards to storyline complexity at episode 12.

Both dramas story lines almost 100% similiar to each other. Both had items that lead and connect from modern time to ancient time and vice versa.

The different only that 1st VD (male lead Peng Yu, female lead Liu Qi Ting). the one from modern time is male lead as young Taoist Priest Chu Chen who send goods and supplies through an ancient box to female lead Empress Dugu Yue from ancient time Zhou Dynasty.

2nd VD (male lead Wang Yu Wei, female lead Li Ke Yi), the one from modern time is female lead as Lin Wan Yu who send goods and supplies through ancient gold bowl to male lead General Huo Yan from ancient time Yan Dynasty.

Both TW and SGBS feature plots heavily surrounding super hero abilities and have genres that include fantasy, action, comedy and romance. SGBS is more of a romantic comedy first however whereas TW has some romance sprinkled in but the main elements of the show are the group relationships, comedy and action,

Both of these dramas are super cute, follow a group of friends from high school until their early adult lives.
imo the main couple in a river runs through it isn't super obvious until the very end but they're great friends the whole way and they always support each other through everything.

you should definitely watch both of them :)
