Both male lead have similar backgrounds.
They are both the sons of generals.
They both faced almost fatal life changing situations when they were younger which caused their martial arts to be completely destroyed and got severely poisoned.
They both can't fight at all but are extremely smart.
The difference would be NIF male lead lost his whole family because they were falsely accused of treason. He came back for revenge and to get justice and find out the truth for his family and everyone involved.
LIB male lead was abandoned by his own father to save the crown prince and his mother died saving him. He himself wanted to die but fml changed his mind when they were younger which made him kinda obsessed with her.
NIF is more about politics and scheming while romance is almost non-existent but LIB is more romance focused with some scheming and politics.

Although the plot isn't similar there are some parts of the song of glory (from the 18 eps that I've watched so far) that are similar to princess silver:

- FL who goes undercover and assumes a new identity to investigate the truth about the situations that they've found themself in.

- both leads fall in love while not knowing each other's true identity

- both fl get caught between a political war

Both dramas are extremely similar in that both leads are sent to a new world in which they are aware is fake and not real. It is also similar in that they are both villains who become the heroine. They also are both comedy and romance filled.

Both of these series show young love blooming within the years of high school. While in Life Senjou no Bokura the story is told over a decades worth of time, HIStory3: Make our days Count is told within the short time of high school and some of college. The lead actors from HIStory3 make an appearance in the final episode of Life Senjou no Bokura and it definitely worth watching to understand how this cameo is a potential alternative ending to HIStory3.

Both shows:

In ancient Japan, a good lord is killed and his throne is taken by the trecherous Yuki Daijo and his wizard friend Oroki-maru. The young prince Ikazuki-maru is rescued from the jaws of death by a magic bird sent by a wizard. Ten years later, Ikazuki-maru embarks on an adventure to avenge his parents and the wizard's death with his magic powers he learned from the wizard. He kills Yuki Daijo but then must battle Oroki-maru in a battle to the death

Using several clips from previous Gamera entries, this film deals with alien forces sending all the monsters Gamera has faced in one final battle to rid the planet of its last hope.

Gamera the Flying Turtle falls under the spell of evil aliens, but two children free him and he returns to fight the aliens' monster, Viras.

Aliens kidnap two children and take them to another planet for the purpose of getting knowledge from their brains, but Gamera follows and tries to rescue them.

When an ancient statue is moved for display in Expo '70, a giant, vaguely Triceratops-like monster is released. The monster goes to Japan in pursuit of the statue and ends up battling Gamera, the giant flying turtle.

In 1973, Gamera sacrifices his life to rid the world of the Gyaos once and for all. Thirty-three years later, a small boy, whose father witnessed the 1973 event, named Toru finds a mysterious egg. From it, hatches a small Turtle. Toru and his friends raise the turtle, who turns out to be a small Gamera. After a new man eating creature named Zedus, it's up to the small Gamera to save the world as the previous Gamera had done before.

A meteor shower carries hostile insectoid creatures to Japan, where they rapidly reproduce. The alien insects who wish to turn Japan into a nest so they can spread their colonies all over.

In a small Japanese village, a young woman discovers the means for her revenge, while Gyaos birds are sighted around the world and humankind debates Gamera's allegiance.
