The 2017 version is a Japanese Remake of the Korean Version. Tatsuya Fujiwara is brilliant here as Park Shi Hoo was in the first one.
Both Peach Girl and Heroine Disqualified are about a girl and two boys and their love triangle. both are of the comedy/romance/school/shoujo genre. In both movies the main character (momo in peach girl/hatori in heroine disqualified) had a crush on her classmate (toji in peach girl/rita in heroine disqualified) for the longest time. Meanwhile, the most popular male student (kairi in peach girl/kosuke in heroine disqualified) suddenly appears and steals her first kiss and confesses her. Both movie have many smiliar scenes. For example, When the first boy break up with the girl, she crying in the rain and the second boy hugs her. If you like one, I guess you'd like the other.
Action in the farm and what problems occur. Female lead tries to help while bosy male lead keeps ordering various nonsense. Even some farm actors are the same.
Both have children involved as the big part of the plot. In the Defendant the father had to listen so the child doesn't get killed the same in Wanted where the mother has to listen to kidnapper for the sake of her child safety. Both shows have this ability to make you feel as a big part of it, like you're experiencing everything together, once you start it is hard to stop. Both focuses on justice and crimes.
Similar plot, same character personality and storyline but with different background and culture. You can absolutely mistaken this a remake Nigeru wa haji da ga yaku ni tatsu. Both are cute in their own ways plus the cat. Either of this drama you will definitely enjoy.
Ma Tian Yu is in Young Sherlock also but playing a completely different character. The fighting scenes are pretty awesome and similar to this drama, the story going from case to case with story development in between.
The character of the man lead is similar .... both is possessive but hots ;)
-In MSRFS, Patawee make Chitchaba as a mistress and embarks on a trail of revenge.
-In SWAK,Mo Shao Qian make Tong Xue as outcast mistress and tortured her in a brutally battled love.
This story however different than “My Father is Strange” gives you exactly the same kind of feelings. The humor and the frustration when you have to deal with intrusive in-laws is exactly the same in both drama.
Saito looks great here
It's romantic, but riddled with the heartwringing conflict that makes you yearn for a happy ending (I hope we get one). The actress playing the romantic female lead (the destined one) is very good.
the story is about Kasumi (Tomoyo Harada) is divorced and lives with her high school student aged son. She supports her family by delivering laundry. One day, she meets Yuri (Takumi Saito). Yuri is a customer of the laundry delivery service. He is a popular designer, known for his designs of cafes and furniture. Yuri talks to Kasumi without restraint. At first, Kasumi is cautious around him, but she becomes attracted to him.

45-year-old Rui Nakamura (Kyoka Suzuki) is a highly successful publisher. During the course of work, she encounters a 28-year-old married man named Kou Suzuki (Hiroki Hasegawa) who aggressively pursues her. Unexpectedly, Rui Nakamura starts to fall in love with the younger married man
Arang is a supernatural drama featuring ghosts, gods, evil, revenge and redemption. It definitely has a more comedic element than what we see in Black Knight thus far but there is also melo and eventually a beautiful romance. If you are a fan of supernatural dramas, I have found Arang to be one of the most satisfactory k-dramas of that genre.
Both dramas have characters who time-travel to the past. The difference is that in Somehow 18, the main character had a purpose for time-traveling and in Love, Timeless the time-travel is an accident that the main character happily accepted.
Both are an office romance between a boss and an assistant. Both are funny and the assistant manages to change the boss for the better.
both involve an awesome female lead that's good at fighting, is highly intelligent, and good at revenge.
Both are by the same director and are crime shows. Also, both the female leads have a supernatural ability while the male leads are cops. (Black - she can forsee death, Voice - her hearing is more improved)
