favolosa dramma

I think this one is going to be my Start Up drama of 2021. It's the sneaky drama that hits you while you're watching it and you say, this is pretty damn good?! It's original and not boring at all and it's funny like heck. The acting is great of course by SJK- a seasoned actor and probably someone who loves challenges. His Italian is pretty amazing. And this $18 million budget spent on this series by Studio Dragon and Netflix is well spent on sets, cinematography, wardrobe etc, Maybe the OST will be better as we move forward. I am worried about the FL lead tho. She seems to over act her role. This story is super original and I think the momentum it's built in just one episode so far is fantastic. I have never laughed and been on the edge of my seat at the very same time. Watch this please.

Castle In the Time

In my opinion, this is a good drama to watch, especially due to Zhang Zheha's role, which is funny, cute, and subtly portrayed. Despite being produced seven years ago, the actors' skills remain impressive. The storyline, while not complex, is well-suited for leisurely viewing. I must say, Zhehan Zhan is truly handsome! Honestly, Zhehan's portrayal of the character Gu Chijun left a deep impression on me, and I would like to continue watching it. I strongly recommend giving this drama a watch; it's worth your time. :)

A very good TV show! Love the romance with fun!

Finally this drama came to me after such a long waiting ! What a surprise even I already knew how handsome Zhang Zhehan is. He is so cute and so charming. Like his previous series and movies, Zhehan's performance is still very outstanding in the episodes, not only the appearance, but also his acting skill, which has caught the audience's attention right away. He is a talented and dilligent artist. I love the romantic story with so much fun! Good show, and I can't wait to watch the next episodes.

I like it very much

The plot is old-fashioned, Zhang Zhehan is really handsome, and his acting skills are very good. The heroine is very sweet.
Castle in the Time is a very enjoyable romantic drama comedy . I love the male and female leads Zhang Zhe Han and Park MinYoung ! They are both eye candies and their acting is very natural ! Being a dinosaur lover , I also love the palaeontologist element in the show . The little Maltese Xiao Jun Jun is also extremely adorable . Now only into the 5th episode , expect more and more exciting twists and turns to the storyline ! Go watch if you have not yet done so yet ! It is now showing on Japan ' s LaLaTV and will also be showing on SkyPerfect TV and Thailand ' s Monomax !

I've already tried hard to watch this, but really. really. can't bear to proceed on.

There're something really wrong with this drama for sure. I have tried to watch it for 3 times in the time span of approximately 2 years. For the first two times, I couldn't finish even a full episode. For the 3rd time, I determined to watch ep1 to the end and be done with it, forever!

I didn't know until just before watching for the 3rd time that this drama is an adaptation of a famous novel by Tong Hua, the author who wrote Scarlet Heart and Ballad of the Desert that I like pretty much. I enjoyed watching the drama adaptation of those two novels without even reading the original books.

So... whatever is wrong with this drama I don't think it's the fault of the original works at all. The production team just fails everyone.

(1) Starting from the bad plot and script - super draggy, lots of unnecessary scenes. There're 54 episodes in total to waste people's time, but I don't want to waste my life with it even with the 2x speed. If I had to invest my time watching this, I think it'd be more worthwhile and leave me a better impression of the story if I spent it with the book instead. The total time would be the same or even shorter.

(2) Apart from the plot... the acting of the main leads is so out of place. Victoria never improves her acting skills up to the bar, I would say. Her latest work I had a glance on is Find Yourself, which is the drama that introduces and makes me like Song Wei Long - I had to drop it after finishing ep11, though. Let me say it once more, I had really tried with that one as well. The FL's brother and her admirer in Find Yourself also acted really well. But the good acting of all these actors (at least three) surrounding her couldn't make me stick to the drama. She is so annoying to watch. She tries to act cute all the time in all dramas I've watched her, and she can't make it look natural. So instead, she looks awkward and pretentious. Here, in A Life Time Love, has the same problem - acting cute, unnatural and awkward - but for this one, it's not just one person but both the FL and ML do that. My, gosh... Especially the ML, I think he's about 10 years older than Victoria. So, when Victoria acts cute and doesn't work, think about him acts cute - anyone can imagine it would work?? He already looks quite advanced on his age and his physique is very muscular, yet he pretends to be a little cutie pie!?? They look so silly together and this silliness isn't a compliment.

(3) The production in general looks low-budget. The sets are not convincing, thus can't get me absorbed at all. The forest is fake. The rock mountain is fake. The fire is fake. The FL's jump into the ML's embrace due to the explosion of the volcano look fake for both the set and the acting.

I'm done with this drama, will not ever try to watch it again. And I'm done with Victoria as well. There're quite a few dramas of hers coming up with prominent MLs like Luo Yi, Xu Kai, Wang Yi Bo and even Rain! But the experience teaches me to not waste my time with her works anymore. Her acting truly isn't my cup of tea. I think I have to admit that I can't bear with her.

P.S. I've watched an impressive work of the ML before this. If anyone watches him for the first time and feels along with me here, maybe you might want to give him another chance with Nirvana in Fire 2 (you don't need to watch season 1 before watching season 2). That one is a work well done in all aspects.

Disgusting Shit.

What I liked:
- Nothing. At. All.

What I didn’t like:
- The female lead is insufferable. Her voice is squeaky and she sounds awful. I don’t know if it’s her dubbed voice or her real voice but it’s awful on the ears. I wanted to watch ‘Moonlight’ drama starring Ding Yu Xi as I like this dude but gosh, she was a dealbreaker in ‘Moonlight’ too. Same reason. High-pitched voice and poor, stiff acting.
- I understand that this drama is a fantasy kind and such but the costumes were hideous and ridiculous-looking. There was a man (who looked trans) wearing some horn or coral thing on his head. It was an eyesore! The rest of the costumes didn’t look that pleasing either.
- The male lead came later on in the first episode and so, I can’t say much about him. I haven’t watched anything with him in it yet though I know that he’s famous.

All in all, I tried my best to sit through one episode to be fair to it and give it a chance but it is a NO. NO WAY. Not wasting precious drama time on rubbish.

Perhaps other viewers may like this drama but it’s not for me and To Each His or Her Own.

I guess this drama did not work out for me.

— I’d recommend other better made dramas like (I) Love like Galaxy parts 1 & 2 as well as (II) Who Rules the World. These are dramas done right with engaging plot, amazing cast who can act well, pleasing music and good-looking costumes. —

Having watched just the first episode much can not be said, the plot was refreshing and was different from the ones I usually watch (a lot of rom- com). I am in a stage where I usually skip the parts with a lot of gaps but despite that the cast and the progression of the story put me in the edge of my seat, making me want to watch every part of it. The preview of the next episode gave me a feeling of rush that made me curious and it kind of sealed the deal for me to continue to watch it.

Nam Ji-Hyun is one of my favorite and she did NOT disappoint. She managed to deliver the emotion of the character perfectly. (I am sorry because I do not know the rest of the cast very well)

I do not advise you guys to read the review of the Japanese version because it might be a put off to watch the Korean version.

I recommend giving the drama a try.

This Chinese historical drama struggles with a clichéd narrative and minimal character development. The characters lack depth, missing opportunities to explore emotional dimensions. The dated special effects contribute to an unimpressive viewing experience. The weak screenwriting results in a dull narrative without surprises or suspense. Overall, the lack of innovation and creativity hinders its ability to compete with higher quality historical dramas, leaving viewers longing for a more engaging and captivating storyline.

The beginning of the series had some supernatural element in it in the form of a ghost. Later, since the actor who played the ghost left, there have been no more supernatural elements and became a normal sitcom. I am happy that the ghost left because he was the down fall of this series. His acting was over exaggerated and absolutely terrible. However, since this is an ongoing sitcom, there are many discontinuities and strange choices character behaviours. For example, at the start, the new employees (minor supporting, but reoccurring) were introduced as, quick witted but bad personality, slow but honest, and old but kind, yet theses qualities are no where to be found in those characters after this episode.

One major storyline that felt weird as a result is the Bok-si-Mandy-Mary love triangle in which Bok-si is rejected by Mary, but later gives Mandy a chance. I pretty sure the producers planned Mary and Bok-si to get together instead since, it is later revealed that Mary used to like Bok-si, despite that in the last hundred episodes, there are no signs of. But the audience probably liked Bok-si and Mandy, so they made Mandy into a bad girl (even though she was always nicer than Mary). I guess the audience still liked Bok-si and Mandy so the producers decided to stick with it, Mandy became a good girl again, and Mary never showed any signs of liking Bok-si again.

The members of the Hong family are all flawed and I find the father and the eldest sister to be the least likeable in the family. The father is stingy and shows obvious signs of favouritism, particularly his eldest daughter, then his youngest, and lastly his second daughter. He shows so much favouritism to his eldest daughter, that not only does he not stop her bullying, but praises her for it. The eldest daughter, is selfish and horrible. She was born a genius and looks down on her siblings for now having the same achievement as her. She only cares about herself, and her missing lover, yet doesn't even raise their child up right. The second daughter is a workaholic, and a typical HK-girl who wants to bag a rich guy. She is quick witted, capable and pretty. To me, she is the most interesting of the Hong family. The Youngest daughter is a bookworm who know nothing other then studying. She loves to study, but is socially awkward and cannot function in society. The uncle is played by Paul Sinn, who over exaggerates and unnatural. The grandson, who's played by a terrible young actor, is a selfish, lazy, and a coward who is ungrateful for the things he has and does not work hard for what he want. I don't like that the producers doesn't make them improve as the story progresses, but promotes these terrible characteristics as if they were funny (which they aren't). It's not very homely as it feels like each of theses characters would rather be anywhere but home.

The best episodes in my opinion are those that take place in the company. I like the office dynamics between the employees with the rather strange, power battle of the bosses children. I quite like David's obliviousness to the work environment. I wish there were more episodes focusing on the minor employees as well, like Gary, Rebecca, the Yeung Yeung, the security guard, the cafe waiter ect. I liked the KC-Helen relationship at first, since it was refreshing, but later it got our of hand. The producers should just let them be together already and stop with the stupid obstacles.

The worst characters, other than the father and first daughter, is the grandson's friend, who is not only a perv, but a stalker, commits sexual assault, yet the producers are trying to make him likeable with he whole "I'm poor and work multiple part-time jobs to support my family" - which is not an excuse for sexual assault. Somehow the show tries to make sexual assault okay if you're lonely.

I like the old instrumental theme song better than the horrible new Jaqueline one. Bad singing with boring music which doesn't sound anything different from other TVB song.

Overall, there are some good, and some bad episodes. It's a sitcom of only 23 minutes per episode so it's okay to watch say, if you're having dinner, or in the background.

I dont like it and here is WHY

Scripts/ Story:
Trailers looks like its maybe good.... but after first episode or 2nd or 3rd, it didn’t help. I love the idea of the story but they way it was made ..... just falls apart.

Basically Characters building in this series is not well done. It is kind of sloppy slapping together. There is no little moment, that make audience feel attached to the characters, or cheering for them. Everything is too easy. Like this is a story about politic, power struggles , love struggles but the conflict doesn’t feel like a conflict if every one in the story just say so.... you have to show us their struggles but we didn’t see that. I dont want to rang too much just because I dont like it but I believe it could have been done better.
Look at : Nirvana in Fire, or Love and Destiny, they way they builds characters’s conflicts and political struggles.... there was so much more Layers.... or Red Cliff .....
I mean the Bei Ting Ping is basically Zhuge Liang(Romance of the Three Kingdoms ), woman version no?

Acting/ Casts:
I dont know how talented these actors are because the script is so badly written.... even if they are good they cant really show their full skill... sadly. Even if the main actress is very good looking.

Production Values:
It’s not great. Costume could have been better. Camera/ lighting and yea.... everything could have been better.

I wouldn’t recommend it...

Still a beautiful and credible storyline

I just finished episode 1 of season 2 and I still love these guys. The story runs so smooth, sweet and tender. The acting is so credible, even for those secondary characters. I just started and don’t wanted it to finish…
Hope it keeps been so interesting. I learn a lot. ……………..…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….…….… ……………..…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….…….…
Please, start planning the season 3.

Story seems pretty interesting - had to drop it.

So here are the following reasons why I had to drop this drama.

Story
The story as i said before is really interesting and i'm a huge fan of mystery and crime stories that's what piqued my interest in trying this drama in the first place. The way they established the crime story in the first minutes of the episode were well placed that would make you want to know more. But after that, everything goes downhill.

Acting/Cast
It's sad to say this but the male lead(Herman Li) got me :/ ... I mean he's a handsome guy and seems suited for the role but his acting was not that good, I just didn't feel the acting at all. Aside from that, the rest of the actors were alright. The other lead(Joe Xu) on the other hand was great so far! He's really funny and he got me laughing.

Music and Production
What can I say here, the pieces and the ost was not one of those osts that you can remember or get in tune with. Now here comes the big "wtf" moment for me was the production. the costumes were alright, the make up was alright but my goodness i was mindblown by how they would use green screen for scenes such as places surrounded by trees, the green screen was so bad the proportions werent realistic and i understand that this mightve occured because of the budget but couldnt they just have filmed it in a real place since its just the two characters walking on a path surrounded by trees?... this is what made me drop the drama.

I still don't get why there's a season 2 of this but if you want to watch a funfilled low budget comedy detective drama then you could give this a try but for me, i'd skip.

Thank you for reading this review!

2 versions of "2 Moons"

I was searching for "2 Moons" on Youtube, and came up with one version with the cast, who starred in "2 Moons 2". I didn't know at first, but I started searching again for "2 Moon", and saw another version of "2 Moons", this version played by the same cast shown on here. At first, I thought I was watching "2 Moons 2", but as I watching both, they are identical. Yo on the first version I found (starred on "2 Moons 2") is much cuter than Yo on the "2 Moons", but Pha on the first version is cuter than Pha on the second version. Overall, the guys from the first version I found (from "2 Moons 2") are cuter than guys from "2 Moons".
