Simply Awful
With all their silly virgins who still doesn't consummate with their husbands even to the last episode. This is one of those cringing and frustrating romantic scenes, totally immature and really stupid. In those days 14 years old are as smart and mature as 28 year old today. Life was short and people grew up really quick. Those tantrums oh my god can we killed the Princess off already. Has it not been for the lead actor .. I would have stopped watching by the 3rd episodes.WORD OF HONOR is great! LANGYA BANG is excellent!! You know why? Because there are no stilly stupid retarded cringy heroines...

Uninteresting
I couldn't watch this drama because of the quality of it and it just seemed so uninteresting. I had dropped it after watching an episode in a half. I had read the synapsis and thought it would be an interesting drama but I was mistaken. Maybe, I'll try again but for now it was just hard to watch. I'm a big fan of the female lead since she was in eternal love and you're my destiny. So, I thought it would be good since this would be my first drama without her and Zhaolin as cast members. For this to be released in 2020, the production was bad.Was this review helpful to you?

Wang You Shuo was quite handsome before his surgeries. Even after the swelling went down, his facial features are still unnatural....it is a shame. The story had potential, but it was presented poorly...The FL's acting in this drama is less to be desired. It is dreadful. .The dialogs were deficient, it is down right stupid......in short, it is disappointing.

Story Review
FL has poor acting skills-maybe because of the role. She is not convincing to play the part.ML is annoying at the same time.
Maybe the story will have a different plot but so far negative impression for me and my friends

Light Up My Life
How do we measure success in life? Is it through one's social status, their accumulation of wealth, or the breadth of their social connections? These are questions that have perplexed individuals for generations, and they are at the heart of the thought-provoking TV drama "Sunshine by My Side." In this series, divorced protagonist Jian Bing and the bewildered Sheng Yang traverse the complex landscape of life, making both erroneous and profoundly rewarding decisions along the way. The show serves as a compelling exploration of the multifaceted nature of success, emphasizing a vital lesson: that embracing self-love paves the path towards love for others.Set against the backdrop of contemporary urban life, "Sunshine by My Side" unravels a tapestry of personal and interpersonal struggles, presenting an intricate web of family, love, friendship, and individual connections. Through the experiences of Jian Bing and Sheng Yang, viewers are invited to scrutinize their own lives and reassess the determinants of success.
Jian Bing, the divorced protagonist portrayed with striking authenticity by a talented cast member, embodies the imperfect reality of modern life. His journey is marked by unexpected twists and turns, highlighting the notion that life seldom adheres to a predefined trajectory. His early choices may seem misguided, but they ultimately become stepping stones for growth and self-discovery. In Jian Bing, we witness the resilience of the human spirit, as he learns to love and value himself, enabling him to extend that love to others. This central message resonates powerfully with audiences, reminding us all that personal fulfillment is an essential foundation for happiness and meaningful relationships.
On the other hand, Sheng Yang, played with nuanced grace, represents the quintessential individual who grapples with self-doubt and confusion. Her character arc mirrors the lives of many viewers, encapsulating the universal search for purpose and identity. Sheng Yang's experiences illuminate the idea that success is not a one-size-fits-all concept but rather a deeply personal journey. Her evolution from uncertainty to self-assuredness serves as a beacon of hope, inspiring viewers to embark on their own path of self-discovery and self-acceptance.
The drama's portrayal of family dynamics is both poignant and relatable. It navigates the complexities of familial relationships with a delicate touch, demonstrating how the quest for success can strain these bonds. "Sunshine by My Side" encourages viewers to reflect on the significance of family in their own lives, underscoring the importance of maintaining genuine connections amidst life's challenges.
Love and friendship are also integral components of the narrative. The characters' friendships are portrayed as sources of strength and support, reminding us that success is not a solitary endeavor. The rich tapestry of these relationships emphasizes the interconnectedness of human lives and the role of genuine connections in achieving happiness.
Intricately woven into the fabric of "Sunshine by My Side" is the idea that loving oneself is a prerequisite for loving others. This profound message is beautifully illustrated through the characters' personal growth and transformation. As Jian Bing and Sheng Yang learn to embrace their own imperfections and value their self-worth, they discover a newfound capacity to love and support those around them. This theme serves as a powerful reminder to viewers that self-care and self-compassion are not acts of selfishness but essential steps towards building meaningful, fulfilling relationships.
The series' compelling narrative is complemented by stunning cinematography and a captivating soundtrack that enhance the emotional resonance of each scene. The authenticity of the characters' emotions is brought to life through exceptional performances, drawing viewers deeper into their journeys of self-discovery and growth.
In conclusion, "Sunshine by My Side" is a thought-provoking and emotionally resonant TV drama that delves into the multifaceted nature of success and self-discovery. Through the journeys of Jian Bing and Sheng Yang, it encourages viewers to reevaluate their own definitions of success and to recognize the paramount importance of self-love in the pursuit of happiness and genuine connections with others. With its compelling storytelling, exceptional performances, and universal themes, "Sunshine by My Side" is a must-watch series that leaves a lasting impression and invites introspection into the choices we make in our own lives.

Ew
A real 20yr age gap between the two lead?. I hope they stop casting younger female actress with old male actors. Dude is old enough to be her dad in real life. How cringe and awkward. Person casting the actors needs to do a better job too. Sadly, the drama could of done better but that age gap must of caused a lot of viewers to turn away. Was this review helpful to you?
Don’t watch if you have high expectations
Honestly, I don’t really have a high expectation for this drama even before the airing because this kind of story usually ended up the same for every drama. But, I was so excited to watch Dylan Wang and Bailu pair up for the first time. After watching more than half of the episodes, I am neither disappointed nor satisfied with how the story goes. For most of the part, the story is rather boring and slow but the tension, romance between the main leads somehow managed to make it better. Some people may drop this drama soon but if you like very very very light, comedy and cliche drama, plus if you also love to see Dylan Wang or Bailu this drama is for you. If not, you might not be able to even finish the first episode. Personally, I will continue to watch this drama until the end just to see more of Dylan’s acting and of course his visual hahah. Was this review helpful to you?
I have to drop it since I find out GJ is so ...
As an avid TV enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for fresh and engaging content that captures my imagination and keeps me hooked from start to finish. However, the recently released series "The Legend of Anle" has been a complete disappointment, primarily due to the abysmal performance of its main actor, Gong Jun.Gong Jun plays the handsome man Prince His Highness in "The Legend of An Le"? Fans praised him for being handsome and perfect? Is the costume drama reduced to this point now?
Can this kind of appearance be praised to the sky? I really miss the costume dramas from many years ago.
Can i be honest He is not a handsome man, but an ugly man.Especially when he spoke, it was even uglier.
In this drama, Gong Jun's appearance and acting skills are both lagging behind.

Not worth your time
I’m sorry folks but I thought this would be a good one, considering the actor lineup. Nope……. Dropped it after the 2nd episode. Too much infidelity and stupidity for me to enjoy it. Like father like son, certainly sits with the youngest son in this storyline. The oldest is portrayed as an imbecile who can’t even speak up. The middle son — your mate already has the girl despite the wheelchair, get over it already.I just cannot deal with the writer’s storyline and I’ve only watched the 2 episodes. Just cannot put myself through anymore trauma.

The end is terrible...
Cannot separate the feelings i felt throughout this drama with those felt in the last few episodes. The last 2 are horrible for me. The ending is badly edited and really bad.
STORY - interesting story, with ancient curses and myths that were more or less wrapped together. An old alien clan lives among humans. For a strange reason, some fell in love with humans and the plot emerged. A mixed child is born and there we go, a story like so many juvenile stories.
To save the loved one, they have to sacrifice one or reborn again to die… unrequited love or more than one choice…
ACTING - i like the acting of the main Leads and all the characters in the three love triangles. The villains are awful and not interesting.
Male lead was strong and righteous and FL was very strong and brave. Their chemistry was ok.
MUSIC - liked the ending melody. The rest I did not pay much attention to. Since I do not understand Chinese, I think I did not appreciate it as much as I should.
REWATCH - definitely no! The end will always haunt my neurons. Maybe one or two scenes…
OVERALL - i really cannot really say what to think. It started ok, was ok in the middle and was awful in the end…

Story beginning
I just began to watch the serie and i can tell it'sa BIG DIFFERENCE from both the jdrama 'Hana Yori Dango' and cdrama 'Meteor garden'. In the Japanese and Chinese version the main girl in the story already been joining the school by luck and own effort, because they fought to go the school they really wanted. In the kdrama the main girl is forced to a school she don't even want to study at.. So the beginning of the story was a quite big disappointment to me in the kdrama. I will keep watching though.. Since I guess the story should be like hana yori dango and meteor garden I hope it getting better, since the main story is quite goodWas this review helpful to you?
