Only Friends: Dream On Episode 6

talk about over reacting, i get Arnold was shocked but the way he reacted one would think Tua bought him & was making him perform in a porno. i would be more curious & wondering, then take it personally - like it's was charity or worse my friend looking down on me - btw when u working around the clock & also studying, the fact ur bff cares to try & help - don't knock it. i would be grateful & would tell them i would either pay them back or would've given the money back, end off. but how Arnold reacted, it feels like he blew it out of proportions, cause it was a way to push Tua away, as the whole r we more than friends - do i even want to cross that line... was getting to Arnold. as u could see that even though Tua wasn't pushing that subject & was trying to be easy going about it, in his eyes u could see that question hovering & think that was getting to Arnold. otherwise i don't get him reacting this extremely to a white lie. *********************************************************************************also watching this, am guessing Rome & Raffy r Sand & Ray (which was ironic considering that ending) & Tua is Nick, idk if Dean & Jack r supposed to be Top & Mew (maybe a version of them - but i don't see it). idk if i am happy, that the writers basically reworked the character's/couples from the 1st season. but it is what it is & that also explains why Rome can't quit someone toxic like Raffy. personally, was crossing my fingers for Pete, he looks sweet & loved that even though he's the quiet shy type - when push came to shove, he turned out to be a power bottom. Rome's loss - *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************side note: really don't get why mention addiction or rehab when the guys who supposedly r addicted & went to rehab, continue to consume the "drug of choice" that sent them there, as if any amount after rehab is ok/safe/healthy. when ur addicted u don't just go to rehab & everything gets fixed afterwards, it's for life(!) u have to keep away from that vice & keep vigilant that u don't fall off the wagon, cause u will either end up back in rehab or worse... but here addiction is treated like a cold or the flue, u get treatment & ur good as new WTF.

Ya gotta laugh at the display of ‘the chips taste delicious’ typed repeatedly while the officer is eating chips. His sketch has moved him to the tactical team where he learns more. Dr Luo spoke up at the mediation hearing and the surprise of the lawyer spoke volumes. He had researched knife girl’s family history and it was pretty traumatic. At first Feng’s family had no intention of going easy on her, but a whispered comment by Dr Luo got Feng to agree. He was told to learn to drift if he wanted to avoid the consequences of his behavior. Otherwise he would never have a clue when or how death would find him. Ms Yu turned out to be the predator in a flipped account of what really happened. It is scary she let somebody beat the hell out of her just so she could fake domestic violence. Who would consider believing him after those photos. Something did trigger with the lawyer who had a gut feeling Ms Yu was not as defenseless as she appeared. It also led to a clue about an updated insurance policy. This led to a 3 yr old being beneficiary of a lot of money. This also caused Yan Ling to rethink some of her earlier thoughts about her friend. Here we learn that when YanLing was going to end it mourning her father’s death, her friend jumped in and rescued her. Yan Ling was too late to return the favor, but is determined to follow the case to the end. The tactical force has a skeleton diagram of a very intricate network of manipulating criminals. There are so many and it is so organized that it is like a large company with various depts of different scams. Our favorite potato chip eating officer got drafted for overtime to see if his memory could reveal any more clues. Dr Luo is encouraging a bond between him and Yan Ling. She is considering it.

Dean is messy but i love him, have to say i am surprised that he is really turning into a favorite. i like that he doesn't give up & keeps fighting, also he is feisty as f*ck - hard not to love him. u can also see that he is the type of person that has lived a hard life & is used to relying only on himself, so no matter how life pushes him down - he will never be out, he will re group & come back fighting, really love this side of him. also like that Jack (even if he isn't ready to admit this) is falling harder for Dean cause of this, he is hella jealous but also is turned on by Dean's antic's - clear to see lol *****************************************************i like Rome, i really do but i don't get WTF is his deal with Raffy. Raffy is such a sh*tty person/charecter, he is all the things that r bad rolled up in one (leave the justification of why, aside for now) his actions make him far from likeable. & even if he does "sleep" with Rome, he doesn't treat him like a human, he is more a toy to use & discard - so why fall for someone like this??? after everything he does?!? & his hitting Boston & then calling Raffy cheap - sorry but he forgot how they met? where Raffy was looking for a hook-up & hooked-up with him after he had finished with someone else? that NOT cheap behavior??? & not slut shaming, but Raffy has shown us that he has NO problem soliciting strangers for sex, when he is blind drunk & doubt this a new thing... so idk why Rome is making him out to be something he isn't. guess love is blind - go figure... ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************Tua - OMG the dude gives me constant 2nd hand embarrassment - i can freakin foresee what's coming, which somehow makes it worse - the cringe is lethal. idk why he is this needy & desperate in his need for people to love him. after Arnold told him he was unsure, Tua still initiated sex. but afterwards play it cool - wait for Arnold to broach the subject as the ball is in his court. not Tua - UGH!!! he is so insecure & needy, just want to tell him love ur-self dude.... get stronger on ur own, learn to love ur-self 1st so u don't need affirmation from others, then search for love. maybe then u won't turn into everyone's doormat & get ur heart constantly stomped on aish.

Yan Ling gets a colleague’s wife to take in Ms Yu’s case. She has been beaten head to toe and still just wants free of him without pursuing criminal charges or max benefits she’s entitled to. She gains her divorce but I want to see her on that plane and not nabbed at the airport by her ex. Feng and his harem are a lot to process. He manipulates them brazenly and has no remorse or concern for the damage he causes. Even when stabbed he uses it to continue his manipulation for no other reason but that he can. Dr Luo has a chat with him and Chang Ning. His chat with Feng is eerie as it’s more like an evil mentor guiding an apprentice in the art of manipulation. He mocks the kid for making his targets so easy and low standard. Feng is now researching Doc Luo and he will be all too willing to follow the doc’s ideas. Yan Ling is still being her students’ advocate but she is too closely involved, Chang Ning’s mom shouldn’t be calling her to take care of stuff the family should be doing. We get more of Dr Luo’s past but he uses it to become the father he feared. He brazenly tells Yan Ling about manipulation and is very directly outlining how he is drawing her in, but she sees it as a psychologist talking about a case study rather than her being on a web getting drawn in by a predator. He has even insinuated himself by requesting to be at Feng’s settlement hearing appearing to be an advocate for the students. Feng comes from a well to do family and none of those poor local girls stand a chance. They literally worship this guy and would do anything for them. I wish any of the adults would have noticed the jailed girl’s hand and understand why she had the knife. I am so disgusted by all these manipulators. The police officer’s blind date did help the case. She could identify the cosmetic surgery the unidentified bf had done. He then got the forensic artist to make a sketch of how he might have looked prior to surgery. It still can’t be used by facial recognition apps, but maybe will help figure out who this guy really is. Yan Ling finds herself triggered by those tattoos and knows somehow they are linked. That is why she will not let these cases go. All these aside cases are as surreal as Yan Ling’s friend. The manipulation and harm these victims endure just boggles the mind. That these predators are so easily inserted into one’s life and then given control is rather horrifying.

Personally, I really enjoyed their part in the series I think that NgernOat really did such a good job in acting and did justice to Thit and Daotok's character, though I'll have to say that I think the ending of this episode lacked something because if you've read the novel, you would be aware that arthit and Johan is like part or like connected to the Mafia at some point and I think that maybe if they included tiger in the ending it would have been a lil better since it's kinda indicating that tiger and duennao's story will be coming very soon. But to be honest, I really like and actually I love this series and this episode really showed us how Thit kind of did ligaw (idk what it is in eng) to Daotok and you know I loveddd the gym scene, it really showed us that Daotok is actually feeling something towards Thit and I love that for them. Additionally, I hoped that Johan just shot the man that originally shot Thit I think that could have been very heartwarming but whatever

The way the individual scenes were filmed, the acting, the characters—it was rly good. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this engrossed in a drama. Thrilling and emotional. It had everything my heart desired. Martial arts, warfare, crisis, but also emotional scenes. It was sometimes hard to follow the plot, but it all made sense in the end. I’d actually even rewatch it (if the ending weren’t so mentally devastating—I mean, literally devastating xD). In terms of C.&P. dramas, after “The Untamed” (1) and “World of Honor” (2), this might be my number 3 so far. A whole point deduction 'cause this drama was very aggressive and physically abusive, especially toward the one male lead character (toxic relationship), and that was just pretty, pretty intense. The abuse aspect was very prominent, and that can be pretty triggering (at least it was for me). But ig it just fit the plot and the characters’ traits, so I ain't gonna say more about it. Therefore, because the rest of the drama is so good, and the abuse aspect fits the plot (sadly) well, I’m still rating this drama 9/10.

I love that they spent a bit more time with the younger actors than usual. At some point, the little ones really pulled me in and I started dreading the moment they'd become adults. The episode contextualised the surface level palace politics, relationships , and it also follows the rarely seen people of saeguks. The backstage staff aka the palace staff and how they're indoctrinated into living their whole lives only for their masters.I look forward to understanding a bit more of the main characters' motivations and goals. For now, flowers on flowers on flowers to the young cast!A random thought I had as the ending stills flashed by was, the first episode alone could have been a movie on missed opportunities and unfulfilled fate.

Episode 4 of The Water leans into a slow burn—but don’t mistake that for dull. From laugh-out-loud family chaos to intimate moments that quietly raise the stakes, this episode builds tension in all the right ways. Nam is trying (we see you), Lada is spiraling (we also see you), and the chemistry? It’s officially on the verge of boiling over. We break down what hit, what missed, and why this episode has us both invested—and a little impatient. Read more here: https://bit.ly/4vFfSv1

The Midnight Romance in Hagwon Episode 14

Whew! That was really good. Loved the tension throughout, loved how the show did not dive into the dramatic tropes of physical violence or slut shaming. We saw some really nasty behavior from certain characters on the show, but it felt believable and not in any way like a caricature. I loved how at the very end of this episode, it's Jun Ho who emotionally breaks down from the entire situation. Genuine gut punch to see, considering how confident and self-possessed he's been this entire show. We got to see his fears over not only whether he ruined Hye Jin's life, but also his habit of always doing things his own way and wondering if that way is what ruined Hye Jin and the academy. I loved seeing him be vulnerable, especially in front of someone who is not Hye Jin!! And with maybe the last person you'd expect him to let his guard down around.Nam Chung Mi is my second favorite character after Hye Jin. She has principles and by god she'll stick to them, but not just out of a wishy-washy "oh that's not right" kind of way. She's someone who will do what it takes to get ahead because that's exactly how far she's come. So it felt even more poignant for her to turn down the offer and decide to stay at the academy with Hye Jin. Her small scene with that one annoying teacher was really great. Minimal dialogue but you could tell just how exactly Nam Chung Mi thought of not only him, but everyone else who was planning to leave. Also her sweet moment with Jun Ho's friend was very cute. Her mentioning that she thought love was a waste of time until she saw how Hye Jin cheered up just from a few words from Jun Ho, which also led her to believe that love could also be a great source of strength in times of hardship.I have full faith that the show will stick the landing, considering that it hasn't disappointed me in any of the other previous episodes.

Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami Episode 2
0 people found this review helpful
well Kaji fell hard & fast, even though he is in denial & his crazy inner voice leaking out with time to time is funny but also cringe. hard to keep up the cool hot guy image when ur acting like a nut. but if i m guessing right - think Fukami has already fallen for him, that's why Kaji's quirky side isn't a turn-off. think the reason he acted coldly was cause he was afraid of getting rejected so he just wanted to avoid any type of interaction & ran. ******************************************************************now that they gonna be friends(?) with benefits idk how he's gonna keep his own emotions in check, or maybe again he is just trying to act preemptively... time will tell if i am guessing right.btw the sex scene was sensual IMO & it did what it needed to do - i am not getting why people have a problem with what we get
