this is probably fujigaya’s most important episode i feel like everything clicks here. i think his cheery ,lazy image is a bit of a facade & over±compensation. from the first scene of him on that motor+cycle to now ,everything kind’ve does actually change. but at some point you are still the same person that you’ve been trying to be. we haven’t really tapped into the psyche of momoe yet but here i enjoy her trying to continue to be the sun shining on fujigaya.

Now I am thinking that the theory of Huayong being Prince Qian's son might actually be possible here. That would perhaps explain not only why the Emperor poisoned him, but it could also be another reason why his name doesn't have Chang, but Hua in it. And then the "beloved son" story might just be to cover up why that name is different... 🤔But I do love that Changqing has kind of come around. I was worried for a moment that he would use the situation to his benefit and lie about what had happened with Huayong. I have really enjoyed his character and all this brotherly bonding these past few episodes. 🤗 I hope Changqing stays like this for now. We have enough villains to cover that department — Prince Ding, possibly the Emperor, and also Qingshi is still somewhere around. 😅🙏 AND I can't forget about the biggest villain there is — Huayong's illness. 🫣🥺P.S. Bath scene was very good, but felt a bit too short.

The man in the wall was holding Wu’s whistle. Wu confesses to killing the men of Unit 401 to escape. Hatoyama was experimenting on them and promised a cure if Wu helped them get the black sand. The vats in the sun-moon area are filled with the black sand. Wu’s drawing was a clock with 12:08 time. This was the stopped time in clinic where Unit 401 disappeared. The leader of unit 401 was mutating to become a Zainiangniang and tried to attack Wu. Hatoyama threatened this for all the men and said he could cure the one infected if Wu was compliant. Yin Changshen used mutated humans as a barrier to the tower. They existed between the tower and miasma forests. Hatoyama could not clear the forests without the Zainiangniang. They were immune because the black sand came from them. The cycle for the sand is people are mutated to become Zainiangniang and over time scales are shed from them that over time becomes the black sand that plays with people’s minds by distorting memories. Wu believed the sand caused hallucinations and Hatoyama believed the sand made Changsheng’s spells reality. Animals forgot their masters and humans lost track of time. Past, present and future twisted around in imagination made them unaware of time passage between events. Repetitive trips were filled in by their minds making it seem like a time jump. Hatoyama wanted to use the sand to win the war. Huo found the ledgers from the original silk shop and realized her mind made them her relatives rather than giving an account from a disciple. Her ledger confirmed multiple trips with the sand playing with her mind. Everybody is now on the same page about what the sand does, just still to be determined to what degree they are effected by it. They are still not completely clear on what was fact and what was fiction in their multiple trips. They have surmised that Hatoyama has a way to neutralize its effects and that originally QianSui had been released, but he knew too much so he was killed and body brought back to look like the spell worked. They are all clear now that Hatoyama’s primary goal is to get the sun-moon sand. Very convoluted plan this episode.

Then You Try Making It! Episode 1

started this sometime in june but stopped halfway bc i was so frustrated by ebihara’s patriarchal mindset and ignorance. i’m glad i revisited this because his character development in episode 1 alone feels hopeful, so i’m looking froward to watching the rest of the series!

Taxi Driver Season 2 Episode 6

This is probably my least favorite episode for 2 reasons & not at all because I think the episode is bad,1. This show keeps introducing characters I want to stay in as permanent roles. First I wanted Maria to stay as tech support with Go Eun in S1. I also wanted Madam Ja to stay because her crush on Do Gi is hilarious plus I feel she would mesh well with the main cast & this episode I wanted the chairman to adopt Seo Yeon so badly 😭2. This POS abusing kids deserved WAYYY worse than what he got. They exposed his scheme but he didn't even get arrested wtf?? The just left him alone *SIDE NOTE* They need to learn to invest in a lock for this damn cabinet that keeps exposing their base. Jesus how many times are they just gonna keep being careless?

Nakin, unemployed bitch, go help the ficking company and leave Ongsa alone. Love them mentioning how he's being seen as a breeding tool. Bring me the bastard brother. HES ACTUALLY A BASTARD MY FRIEND AND I’VE BEEN JOKING ABOUT THAT. WE HAD NO IDEA. HE WAS ACTUALLY A BASTARD. ALSO LORE ACCURATE THAILAND TRAFFIC LMAO BC HE HAS TIME TO SIT THERE AND CRY, PUT THAT SHIT IN PARK TOO. They just broke his ass out of jail with the power of friendship. I am fucking dead. random ass human trafficking. Good ep until this random ass human trafficking like we are pissing me off and we are all little bitches. 7.5/10 okay bye!

Things are really heating up and really appreciate how Phatsa and Nakhun stick by eachother! The deepening of the plot with the 3rd brother not being fully related is really interested and was really sweet to see Nakhun and Nahkin stick up for their younger brother despite his troublemaking.

Doom at Your Service Episode 3

i dont understand why he tries to save her by the end of the episode? Im guessing his goal is to really make the world end but why the need to be so cruel and let her experience the pain of her illness (even if it's for a short while)...?and also his relationship with the ''god''... i dont understand... the god seems to want to save the world?

Such an interesting episode. Secrets are out of the way for some characters. I was actually quiet happy mom stuck up for the one brother, feel for her but give her props for caring for him. I cant stand the father right now.. thankfully 2 of 3 brothers are aware of phatsa omega identity. They can now help!! And that other omega (ends with neua i think) was not here when all this went down he is still scetchy to me. And was it just me or did phatsa kinda consol(?) Nakhun for him not being pregnant? Lol phatsa should've been more relieved than that..lol but also good for Nakhun for not becoming distant immediately after learning that but we will see how his action go in next episode.

It seems like writers run out of ideas, drama was good for the most part but last episode is a filler, and a terrible one at that.

LOVE that we’re getting more stuff with the second ML and the ML. I highkey dislike this part of the story since it’s where the FL just assumes a whole lot about the ML and his relationships with others. However, I think it’s cool we get to see him confront her and do his best to communicate with her because he notices she’s acting unusually. On top of that, HE ATE REINA UP AT THE END LMFAOOOO W ML FR!! Anyways, Reina is still as insufferable as ever, and I’m so ready for us to get into the actual revenge arc here 😭

Loving the series soo much!!! the last scene that takes place in modern time was definitely something. And seeing small parts of the future is kinda nice.. but the specific scene feels kinda out of nowhere (to me personally) i dont mind NC scenes but i do prefer them when it helps the plot more and maybe it does help it and it just hasnt clicked for me yet! If it does please do let me know! i will update my comment again once i rewatch and watch for more details then just enjoying it completely for my first watch.

The symbolism of flowers and hedonism is so evident of this episode. Eating the forbidden fruit that was an aphrodisiac was a classic example and all the reference to love and attraction.
