Instead ofjust one couple this episode focused on two and we see some similarities between thetwo male leads. They both need andwant love but are matureenough toknow when to back off.

Denial is themain focusof this episode and it is set up perfectly so by thetime we getto the courtscene we already knowthe verdict.Kudos to theediting guru.

Truth

Depressionis real andthis episodedoes notexploit it orromanticize it. It is painful to deal withand hard tocope with. The cinematography in this episode was fabulous.

Maturity

What a novel approach.It’s the kids who are themature ones. Loved it. For once we see two youngpeople taking responsibility and notplaying the victim or theblame game.

Double Wow

How thefathers react to the news about theimpendingsituation isboth sad andpainful. Ittouched somany levelsof feelings and was soreal.

Motherhood

Again, another serioussubject isintroducedand dealthwith…depression and the impact it has on a marriage and how it affects the children. Aheavy dose of reality.

Wow

Teen pregnancy is a subject I have yet to see handled with somuch care and forethought. The fl isnot just some half wit girl with no selfesteem. What a refreshing approach.

Wonderful

This storywas so good.The mls have such goodchemistry.The pace ofthis was justright and Iloved the tone. The editing was super.

Starting Off Strong

I expected a lot from this series and the first episode delivered it. It wasn't something spectacular in a way but enough to have you anticipating the next episode. Overall a strong pilot and I can't wait for the next ep.

Motive

This episodefelt very heavy and sad inmy opinion.However itwas realistic. Sometimespeople can’tlet go of thepast so theydelude themselves andend up getting hurt.

Drama

It seems to be very somber in partsand the tonebefits thetitle. It is hard to pinpoint just wherethis couple from the pastis headed but the tone isvery sad. Again the acting is superb.

Surprise

I really love the cast. There are a lot of main leads but they seem to meld very cohesively.The acting isexcellent and the emotions are high.
