The intrigues continue. BingWen gets ZangHai an audience with Shi YiPing and the games begin. This one is cagey and heads for getting the sword of justice from Zang Hai. Here he reminds me very much of the Marquis. That part is thwarted and Zang Hai manages a secret audience with a gift of two rare paintings. Right when things get interesting, he drops dead from poisoning. LuYan is quite the assassin. She was really wanting to get both of them. The fight scene was very well choreographed and she and AnTu finished things up nicely. She started talking and we find out that Shi YiPing was responsible for poisoning the surveillance group and getting the seal and fish from Cao. Lu Yan was definitely not in agreement with the plan. She only revealed that she wanted to kill Zang Hai much earlier and she hated him for getting her master killed. Right when authorities showed up she slit her own throat to join the rest of her fallen comrades and master. That cockroach Cao is still not done Lu Fen still out there. Amd we don’t know if any other secret Lu’s in the mix. 😝 I’m with Zang Hai that that went far too smoothly. He left the seal with the Emperor but kept the fish. The seal still does not look the same as episode one. There is still some things going on that have yet to be revealed. The picture of Dongxia was a clue and gives a specific mountain location. Zang Hai is planning on resigning and BenWin is offered YiPing’s job. He was not particularly wanting it, but agreed to be interim head of court til proper replacement found. Gao is acting off. Is he really going to be third enemy? Waiting to see what Zang Hai and AnTu have planned. Will master and student really have a head to head battle over the fish? Or is emperor still pulling some strings? He does not know about fish specifically but I think he is well aware that the seal does not work as it currently is. Was a clue given when he wanted to visit original master and was Gao says wonder if he is still even there? The puzzles keep spinning but the locks are being let loose one by one. How many locks are there? Cause it seems kinda endless.

If I died before watching the drama, I had to regret in the next life that I have missed a sacred splendor.

It is the best of the best. My heart bleeds as it ends. I wish to watch hundred more times and cry as the emotional touch make my eyes full with tears.

Well this ep was better than the last. These shows really know how to make you hate Korean cops and the higher up. Han Saem just doing his job and the chief concerned about appearances. Ena has the same or similar vehicle to the (2nd) victim? That ending scared the shiz out of me.....

I love that she is a fighter and she refuses to just give up and submit to the circumstances she is forced into. I'm invested in her survival now and I can't wait to see where her journey takes her.

It's a good start but I'm not totally sold yet. PlusI have a ton of questions. I guess they will do a ton flashbacks since they progressed this 10 years but Ena was his main suspect but who else did they considered and did they even do a through investigation of Ena? Was she protected b/c she rich or b/c there was not enough evidence? I am getting a little tired of these flashback shows when a more linear approach could be more useful. Side Note: Having recently finished Heavenly Ever After I am excited to see Son Suk Ku in this less cherry role!

This episode cracked me up!Khanin is really at his wits end .... Sending messages to Charan, not getting a reply, going to the art school to see him. Ensuring he got Charan as his coach but he wasn't expecting that drill!.... A must watch I must say!

Charan and Khanin’s first meeting at the tournament scene was a highlight. You see their differences right away: Khanin's arrogance, Charan’s critique, and that electric tension. It feels fresh and engaging

This episode really stayed with me. “The Royal Ball” was everything I hoped for visually — grand, elegant, full of that royal polish — but it was the emotional undercurrents that caught me off guard.NuNew Chawarin continues to impress as Prince Khanin. He barely has to say anything and you still feel exactly what he's going through. That moment when he sees his bodyguard dancing with someone else — it’s subtle, but the jealousy is there. Just a flicker in his expression, but it says so much. And then when he has to dance with him later? Quietly intense. The tension, the unspoken feelings, the way they hold eye contact just a second too long — I was holding my breath. This episode had everything: beauty, restraint, tension. And it lingers. Definitely my favourite so far.

Just finished watching Episode 4 of The Next Prince, and wow, there's a lot to unpack. The tension between the characters is heating up, and this episode took things to a much more intense level.First off, the whole situation with Khanin getting left in the cave was wild. I still can’t decide if Ramil planned it or just panicked, but either way, it was cold. And then Charan showing up to save Khanin? That moment had such a strong emotional pull. You can really feel the bond growing there, it’s subtle, but it hits. There’s also something going on within the Bhuchongphisut family that’s starting to bubble up. Rachata calling out Paytai in front of everyone when he wasn’t even the one responsible felt more like a power move than genuine anger. Overall, this episode kept me hooked. There’s more emotional depth now, and the stakes feel higher. I’m loving how the relationships are developing and all the little clues about what’s really going on. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
