Oh to be a women

I wish I didnt relate to this movie.... I think I can say it for most women, but we women have been through at least one of the scenes the main character had to go through. From her father only considering the health of his son, to the boy trying to grab her on the bus and her dad blaming HER. I love how the mom stood up for her when needed, and unlike some mothers (like mine) remind her of the "societal, traditional and cultural norms that women are expected to endure).

Biggest fear like shown in the movie: husband "convincing" his wife to have a kid, but not participating in the child-rearing and doing the bare minimum, until the FL develops postpartum.

Please read the book, it is amazing

I would like to give "Definitely recommend", but the movie is so strange, about almost nothing and everything at the same time, almost nothing happens in it and yet it happens ... I won't reveal more, this could only have been made in Taiwan. A hidden gem from the man who wrote and directed this little story...

Oh how this movie makes you want to go back to your high school years. Watching this made me nostalgic for a childhood I never had. Loved the comedic side but also cherished the sad moments as well. I love how realistic it was in the sense that not everyone had a great future after school. Also wished they found their #6 friend before the funeral so they could reunite fully.
The different renditions of cyndi were my fav, I also looked up the Korean songs played and they are a BOP

Makes you question and hold on to memories. This movie got me to think... have I been living my life the way I want to, and would I be on my deathbed with absolute no regrets? Do I, at this point in my life, have a memory that I would truly hold on to and want to carry with me into my next life. The scene where *spoilers* he says "Thinking about a memory would just cause me more sadness and grief". I feel as though no matter whether it was a happy or sad memory, we all have the potential to make the memory sad when we give it context (if that makes sense). For instance, if your best memory was with ur significant other, will there be a question whether they were truly the one or will you think about how badly you or they treated you. Besides the point, I think this is a must watch. If your not into the cinematography, please watch it for the nostalgic feeling and the feelings of reflection you will get!!!!

Imagine Sherlock Holmes as a bumbling goofball, chasing clues in a Joseon Dynasty skirt, and you've got the essence of this hilarious detective flick. Fast-paced action meets slapstick comedy as our awkward genius unravels a conspiracy as tangled as Korean BBQ noodles. Murders, political intrigue, embezzlement, the plight of the poor, and even a dash of Christianity simmer in this cinematic stew, initially seeming like all over the place gets interwoven pretty well at the end.

Our detective's Watson is no stuffy sidekick. Played with infectious charm by Dal-su Oh, he's the comedic yin to the detective's awkward yang. Their bumbling duo act is the heart of the film.

If you're craving a side-splitting laugh with a dash of intrigue and historical flair, this movie hits the spot.

Two almost incompatible stories in one. The confusion of an eleven-year-old boy (played convincingly by the Taiwanese boy) after being abandoned by his mother and a grown man who likes men. Really inner emptiness and search, hope.
The film is excellent, needlessly tucked away somewhere in a drawer, forgotten, it doesn't deserve it. On MDL, I at least voted for myself, rated, because it seems to me that the film is misunderstood on this server, there is not even a cast, it is at least partly here: https://en.hkcinema.ru/film/48004
Acting, processing, music, everything at a level. I had to look again, confusion in names, confusion in soul. But still, everything is depicted in the end by the desire to live ...

Dva téměř neslučitelné příběhy v jednom. Zmatek jedenáctiletého chlapce (ten taiwanský kluk to zahrál přesvědčivě) po tom, co jej opustila matka a dospělý mladý muž, co má rád muže. Opravdu vnitřní prázdnota a hledání, naděje.

Once i loved this movie but after some time i realized

Stared good but I hated this Fake Nice guy he isn't nice but a new born baby,
being not experienced in love is different then being a new born.
whatever her past was who give him right to investigate behind her back , and sharing her past with his friend who make insulting comments about his wife and called her Slut in front of him and THIS IS NICE GUY
he isn't man enough to slap that friend who insult his wife and there marriage
but he doubt his wife if she loves him or not

ML is married man does he ask his friend about in which position he should do sex with his wife and how much he should kiss her ?
ML look like a little child following his friend every damn word like his friend is GOD,
now days for loving husband wife comes even before God.
i never heard his apologize because no matter what he say he can never make u for what a loser he is. i get it why nice guy should not ever get girl in any drama because the will not be able to protect them.
he did not trust his wife because his lowlife friend told him.
in truth only wife loved him and he never ever loved her truly he just married her because she was way above his league and she make him look good in front of others.
loving someone is accepting everything Past Present and coming future.
she wasn't able to open up and tell him everything because there was no love from his side just fake smile
Loving someone is also respecting but the way he discuss his wife private life with his friend was an insult to her and there marriage
ending she should not have accepted him at all, and he should have remain friend with that man
who remain friend with a man that destroyed your marriage by his nonsense and who insult your wife.

it was nice for first time but there is problem

Problem was that husband was blamed for everything but affair was solely on wife
Yes he wanted her to go away and hire a man to seduce her...

BUT having affair was her choice, Cheating on her husband for lust was her sole choice her husband doesn't push her into make a decision.
So why he was only person blamed
Even if it was all planed she chose to cheat and betray there marriage by falling for Playboy paid by her husband.
They adress fault of husband and blamed him only
I get it he did wrong and he regret and Apologize for his actions
She shameless dream about sleeping with otherman and is telling her husband about it, but she isn't blamed at all
Its just glorious cheating woman but when it reversed gender then cheating husband would be blamed even if wife hired a woman.
But wife did she regret cheating and

I can't wait for Veteran 2!

Rating 2015 movie in 2024 is probably not a fair evaluation since it's almost 10 years! What one finds fascinating back then is now boring. That's why I rate this based on how much I've enjoyed the show!

The storyline is predictable, but boy...the fighting scenes, especially the one near the end is SO GOOD to watch!

Plus, it's really funny...not in an over-the-top manner, but like well done comedy

I really enjoy the show. It has great balance of humour, action, justice.

I hesitated to watch initially as I don't know who the ML is, but turned out he is a pretty cool cop here.

I can't wait for Veteran 2!

Average !!!

I had some questions while whatching the show

1. During the class : religious father/brother ( who talks about love), he speaks as if homosexuality is perfectly normal and catholic church supports it .... Really??? As far as i kmw catholiccs show highest discrimination towards LGBTQ community.
2. Are dominic and his 2 other close companions effeminate gays ? Or are they all 3 Ladyboys ( transgender)??. They always address each other as SIS ,wjich means they identify thrmselves as girls.
But dominic tells luke that he is Gay .
What i dont understand is , ... are these 3 kids confused by identyfying themselves as gays inspite of being ladyboys ? Or the script writers do not know the difference between gay and transgender?
3. Dominic seems to be very pious and preaches catholic morals and doctrines especially to luke during the paired couples discussion at night
The same dominic approaches a fortune teller time to time to know about his soulmate . He looks a confused kid .

An oldie but a goldie

This movie is so aggressively 2000s in the best way possible. The hair, the fashion, the flip phones! An absolute delight.
It also happens to tell a genuinely lovely story about a queer relationship which goes through rocky times but ends up stronger and better than before; a delightful surprise, in other words, especially considering the time in which the movie came out.
The story itself isn't particularly unique or intense, but there is a quiet air of sweetness and gentle joy about it that makes the whole thing feel groundbreaking in its own right. And it kind of is. It's a feel-good movie about a respectfully and lovingly portrayed relationship between two men in 2000s era Japan - that's quite a rarity.
All in all I feel this movie has stood the test of time; apart from the camera quality most of the technical and story-telling aspects hold up very well.
So if you're looking for a short, easy watch that's a bit different from most modern day entries into the genre, or are simply in the market for a romantic dramedy chock-full of 2000s nostalgia, then this is the movie for you.

Bea Alonzo and JLC are indeed one true pair.

This short film tells the story of an on-screen love team that reunites for a project after a long break due to the pandemic. During their time together, they engage in heartfelt conversations about life, love, and their shared past. The plot is straightforward yet well-crafted, fitting neatly into a 36-minute runtime, and it beautifully captures the dynamics of their relationship. If we talk about love teams, fans often hope that these pairs will become real-life couples, enchanted by their chemistry both on and off the screen. But it doesn’t always happen in real life. By centering the narrative around the love team while not making their romantic relationship the focal point, the film offers a refreshing and authentic portrayal of their friendship both in and out of the spotlight.

The story is so engaging from the beginning to the end, making me want for more. Bea Alonzo and JLC undoubtedly have an amazing chemistry. Their dialogue feels so genuine and effortless, as if they’re simply being themselves rather than acting. I was smiling the whole time, my face hurt. The way they tackle the themes of life and love, through the lens of one of the most iconic Filipino love teams offers a profound insight: as humans, we often find our emotions beyond our control, especially when it comes to those we deeply care about. You know, feelings will grow, the line between professional and personal will get blurred, and it can sometimes have a positive or negative impact on our real-life relationship. But at the end of the day, people grow and move on, and the best of love remains.

Fake good guy who only follow where is cock take him ?
if FL wasn't a beautiful girl then he would have beaten her but since she is pretty he want to screw her and playing fake good
and we are supposed to think he is hot and attractive but he look cheap makeup guy
No storyline after fake bully join there group,, he pretend to save the boy who FL saved so he can suddenly become a good guy
FL was so IDIOT she try to maintain her distance from first boy but then when bully come she be like friendship on 99% discount
i can understand first boy not the second one
second boy from the start approached them with motive of screwing FL second ML isn't a good guy if he got rejected by FL then he will turn into a bully again
everything he do is for his COCK
there is no genuine friendship from his side while the first boy genuinely become her friend after she saved him
love developed from admiration and liking is way more respectful then a love devolved based on sole lust
this move try to give wrong meaning of friendship and love

Needed to be longer

Shin Kamen rider, the most modern feeling of the three shin movies, god I wish it was 1. longer and better paced 2. Wasn't so realistically explanatory, kinda takes away from the charm of superhero movies, it doesn't feel as fantastical as original Kamen rider but it might just be me, sure the explanations are cool

Also the old music in some parts just feels so out of place cause of how modern it is or maybe it's just me having watched the original and not being able to feel it here, but the music that is not from the original seems to fit right in, overall, good movie, could have been better if longer

A well adapted Live action of a beautiful love story.

This live action movie surely surprised me on how good it was. Having read the manga and watched the anime I didn't really expect that they could pull this off with the same level of chemistry between the leads but they did.

Ren Meguro / Mio Imada were a damn good casting for the roles. Both of them look really good together. Having watched this movie and the "Trillion Game" drama, I was in quite an awe of their chemistry as their characters were extremely different in the movie and the show yet they nailed both.

The movie was well executed, though felt rushed during the second half which was quite expected as they had to show a big story arc in a single movie. Had this been a show with episodes, it would have been pure gold as it would give plenty of time to show the entire arc and character developments.

The visual FX were satisfactory. I really wanted to see how they will show Kiyoka Kudo rampaging through the house destroying everything and everyone who was trying to stop him from saving his beloved fiance. They surely didn't disappoint in that. The cinematography too was quite eye catching and matched well with the vibe of the story.

Overall it was a good movie with a well suited cast and a sweet storyline. Kiyoka Kudo and Mio Saimori are one of my all time fav couples and it was nice to see their characters being pulled off so beautifully.
