PROS
+ Unconventional storytelling that avoids being cliché and stale
+ Excellent plot twist that changes everything about the film
+ While it has a emotionally dense tone, it's not a challenging watch
+ The lead character, Cream, is especially charming and is like an intriguing mystery to figure out
+ Surprisingly, there are some cool and abstract shots that are meaningful, metaphorical, and dream-like
+ There is some A+ writing that is outright beautiful with flawless delivery
CONS
- Admittedly, there are some slow moments that require some patience and attention to get the most out of the story
- The opening scene sets a contrasting, light-hearted atmosphere, that wears away so quickly that it's jarring
- The conclusion is one of those indirectly impactful endings that hits you after you've turned off the TV [spoilers for why this is a negative]

More Than Blue seemed like an interesting movie and it certainly was, but also it was so bitter sweet and meaningful that I think it could actually be life-changing to some viewers.
Just don't expect a nice, romantic drama.
"I want to live a happy life... But, that's just a dream. A sad dream. I'm done with dreaming." [tears begin to fall]

Very good casting and choice of music and storyline.
Honestly, I watched this movie because I was looking for Choi Woo Shik works and honestly this movie didn't fail me.Nothing in this movie is missing, maybe a part 2. I believe there are still pieces left to watch of this movie but the storyline per se really really really involves who's watching. Making the viewer feel every single thing that happens.
Loved the cast a lot and I really enjoyed listening to the movie soundtracks a lot. It was like a way to hypnotise me and tell me "Watch me again." I've watched it like a lot of times already.

ODDINARY (out of the ordinary)
I really loved watching the movie. As i finished a Korean drama before watching the movie, I was looking for something that would have made me thrilled or just something that would invite me to watch.
I was really looking forward something that was imaginary yet fierce. I really love the approach of friendship at first, just because it was something out of the normal but then it twisted to someone who can't get enough.
I'd love to see a second part of this movie.
Perhaps a revenge that fails? Or not.

More of a Taken lite
If you're here for a movie with MDS, you got one. Full of action, and a movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. It can get dark in some areas but it never gets as deep as some of the more serious contenders in this type of genre. The story is ok! I wouldn't nominate this for any awards but the premise holds itself up for most of the film. Some situations are a bit ridiculous but since the movie isn't as serious as other high rated Korean crime films, you can excuse it in this movie.
Without giving too much away, I think one of the things that brings the story down is they try to throw in multiple elements and angles into the story and you can feel they don't flesh them out as well as they could've by the end of the movie. I think they could've done without some of the scenarios as well.
It kind of feels like they pitched all these ideas in and decided to only spend enough time on a few of them.
The actors are also just ok. Again, while this movie isn't as serious as other Korean films, it would've been nice if secondary characters from both the protagonists and antagonists were given a little more to do during the film. There are points where they help out for the most part and they did focus on the main good and bad guy but maybe it was a little too much you kind of just forget about most of them at the end.
For what the movie is, the music is fine. Nothing breathtaking or something I would nominate for an award but nothing memorable either.
Would I watch this again? Not likely but I wouldn't delete this off my list forever.
From the poster design, I think they made the right call by having it look like a serious movie since most of it is. There's some comedy sprinkled in that doesn't break the theme too terribly but the movie would've been fine without it.
Come in with low expectations. If you just need some time to kill, want to watch MDS beat people up, and don't want to get too invested in the movie, this movie is perfectly fine for that.

Main lead is on the verge of dying. at the very moment of him commiting s** he finds a way to spare himself and meets Main female lead. he finally sees the reason for living, very literally he lives for Hwa Sun meaning he would even be imprisoned for her since he feels he owes his life to her. when i see it this way, i don’t feel so tortured that an innocent man was imprisoned, as this was his only wish. rather than live his sad and daunting life, he finds peace in ensuring Hwa Sun and her niece are at peace. Suk Go’s was willing to protect her till the end. however the ending is bitter. he smiles while she cries. she is clearly suffering as in a perfect world they would just live happy and free. unfortunately a horrible monster came along and changed their lives forever. What was the reason?
I haven't written a review in so long but I just feel way to *much* about this. Also this might contain spoilers, if that's even possible though since the synopsis and preview tell the whole story.
It's been 10 years. 10 YEARS since you last saw this woman. Who, yeah, I get it. You loved her, but... come on. 10 years and suddenly she shows up and you aren't even together a whole day before she is asking you to kill her husband? My dude.... come on. and why the hell did you agree to?
I get wanting to do something. I do. Especially to protect someone. But again, you haven't seen this person in 10 years and you have a really good life... you're just going to throw that all away?
Maybe if they didn't start the movie off the bat like that or maybe they spent more time together to show us this "bond" they're supposed to have, I would care more or at least understand. But as is, I don't understand.
All through this movie and I do mean ALL THROUGH IT, it just felt like Nanae was using Rei. She was throwing out red flags like crazy. Even when they were teens. It felt like she knew Rei loved her and she could use that to her advantage. Rei on the other hand, I have no idea. It was weird how she constantly said she was lesbian but still ended up having sex with two guys. I get shit happens but, you didn't need to sleep with the dude to kill him honestly aaaand the second dude? I'm just confused.
This movie gave me one hell of a stress headache. It was a absolute dumpster fire. Even watching it on 1.5x felt like it didn't end it quickly enough. and the ending? All this went down and through the whole movie Nanae talked nonstop about wanting to die. like bitch, why did you get Rei involved in the first place then?! and for the last line to be "I'll wait for you" -- well you fuckin better. Though I doubt you will. Wish there was some after credits scenes or something cuz it ended with me more pissed off than ever.

Artistic and abstract display of emotions- good watch
This movie is colourful, creative, painful, fascinating. It holds a very artistic flair contained within the bright scenes and sets depicting gut wrenching emotion as lilico is trapped in a rabbit hole surrounded by her own greed- it has a nice mystery edge and is just generally very very interesting. the acting is good and the creative direction is superb, the story is interesting and keeps you hooked. a good watch, so watch it. I watched this a while back but recalled it just to write a review as i enjoyed it so much- this movie is true to its name in its nature and plot, quite a helter skelterWas this review helpful to you?
the cast and the acting was great!
Decibel is a sound terror action film that revolves around a bomb designer who wants to occupy the city center with a special bomb that explodes when the noise increases and a former naval deputy commander who becomes his target.the combination of the great actors was awesome everyone was good.
KRW, JSH, CEW, and of course my dear LJS.(the main and the supporting cast are great)
lee jong suk as a villain is so damn good. same as BM liked the challenge he took for himself and hopes to see it more in the future.
the plot wasn't boring but the storyline felt ordinary, not particular. don't hope for something special well my main reason to watch was LJS and I enjoyed seeing him!

A character that follows the Manga arc that has been directly based on, the thing that must be admitted is that the actor Masaki Suda's acting is really good. In addition to the side character, Shun Oguri has a leadership spirit and is brave even though he acts in doing his crazy things.
This film has two well-known and most expensive actors in their time, so this film is highly recommended for fans who like films about murders like psychopaths. But be careful, I'm afraid your mental soul can be honed like the one in the film, so who else if not the actor Fukase. He is the original singer of SEKAI NO OWARI.
OVERALL : 8.5

Perfect type of a mess.
The movie fits just right into the “so bad it’s good” category - with elements and plot that could last for at least 3 separate movies, it makes for a perfect late night brainless entertainment. While the first 25 minutes are rather dull, following typical ghost and cursed storylines we have seen in hundreds of movies, the moment the ghost hunters duo shows up, that's when magic and crack happens.
There is no logic in this film - none. It’s impossible to make sense of the 80% of scenes and dialogues. They drop random supernatural lingo and we as the viewers need to just accept it all makes sense.
The acting was surprisingly not bad - improved with every minute. Honestly, delivering some of the lines in a serious matter seems like a miracle to me.
Production was… C class at best and that’s one of the fun and charming aspects of the movie. It’s made for people who can enjoy cringe and poor effects.
Overall, what an acid trip it was.

A bit basic, but still fairly entertaining.
There was nothing truly wrong about the movie, but nothing stood out in a positive way either. What starts as a comedy, ventures into more sad territory closer to the end. We know how Koreans are - nothing is just a comedy. I must say, I actually really like where the plot went and the given conclusion, I just hoped it would be set up better and more hints have been given.
On the comedy side - I did not really laugh once. Maybe smiled a few times, but that’s it. The jokes were just really mediocre and they did not take full advantage of the scenario they created.
The acting was good, especially from Han Seung Yeon who is able to deliver both the comedy (even if limited by the script) and drama.
Overall, it's light, short and fun enough to watch and not feel like you wasted time.

Wish there could be more moments with Woon-ho and Bo-ra, they only had plums and closet. Ending didn't really hit, should've used OG girl. Present day scenes too long. Weird filter. Good acting and story had me in feels. Also enjoyed Seong-woo cameo. Death (spolier) didn't really hit either, it was too obvious and didn't have emotional connection because it wasn't OG girl finding out. Didn't like hyunjin at the beginning but he became a homie. Girl with heart problem was also a G at the end, but faking heart attack was weird. Was this review helpful to you?

"I'm 34 but you're still 18"
I got to know about this movie while writing my MDL'ers Favorite Korean Movies article. This movie was in the top 10 most awaited upcoming Korean movies section. At that time this movie had a orange poster which looked really cool and beautiful at the same time.So when this was finally relaesed it really created a lot of buzz. I mean literally everyone was talking about this movie. It was like talk of the town. I couldn't open my Instagram cause everyone was posting about this movie. My Instagram Fanpage was in a more difficult situation. All my mutuals were editing about this movie on the other hand I really wanted to watch it without any spoilers but I couldn't cause I had ongoing exam. Unfortunately Instagram spoiled the ending of the movie anyway I decided to watch this movie once my exam finishes.
Watching the trailer I felt like another movie in which the girl falls in love with her best friends and ironically the crush also falls in love with the girl. But it wasn't really about that..................
I really love that even though I knew about the ending how I love the story progress. It's really unpredictable. The summer scenes. The cute interactions.
STORY
About the last year of 20th century of Bo Ra's life which became a special memory of her 21st century life.
ACTING
I always feel like playing the role of high school students are a little different than the other roles. It needs a lot of emotions. Every and each actors acting really made everything feeling magical.
CAST
My first time seeing the leads. I have seen Kim Yoo Jung in Instagram reels and YouTube Fm but I never realized until this movie that she is such a great Actress. I think the casting was perfect as we can feel their chemistry with each other.
Although I have gave this 7 rating overall after thinking like thousand times. Everything was this movie was nice but does the ending even make any sense. So many unanswered questions. And it just ended like I don't know it ruined everything for me. It's okay for one time watching but I definitely will never rewatch this. They just ruined our summer vibe comfort movie. I wish he could meet the 21st century of Bo Ra.
Memories matter and stay with us forever.

It had quite a strong first and last quarter, but the middle part left much to desire. It mostly felt draggy and confusing and not in the “I’m excited to see what will happen next and what it all means” type of way.
The lore is great, imaginative and presented in an interesting visual way, especially at the end. I just wish the storytelling was a little bit more tight. Suicide Forest Village did not create that tense atmosphere that would make me anticipate what’s to come. I was mostly passively watching, not exactly connecting to anything on screen, but not really being bored.
I think the biggest part in the downfall of the movie for me were the characters. If you have an interesting set of protagonists, even a slow paced film will be interesting. This bunch of young adults had little to offer in any aspect.
Without going into spoilers and being as vague as possible, I did enjoy quite a bit the design for everything that happened in the Suicide Forest Village.
Overall, not a bad movie and if you watched all the better titles, this is a good pick. but it’s not something you will remember after a month.
