As long as the story has thrill, i am in for it

I got off the 1st episode with great difficulty bcz it seemed like the same rich kids vs poor kid plot and rich girl falling for the poor guy but then after watching 2nd episode I was totally into the show and completed it in one go.
There were things that brought excitement into the show and kept the audience curious. I wanted to know why Jae-i broke off with Ri-an and who was blackmailing her. Although He-ra was a bitch but she was quite the character. She added the spice in the show. Kang ha, the hero of the show was kind of okay. It was typical of him to actually fell for the rich girl even thou he knew his brother’s death is linked to her. The thrill got me going till the end. Especially episode 5 and 6 were soo fire. Loved them. It wasn’t bad at all for a 7 episode show. The new faces were refreshing to watch.
I know the plot has similarities to the series ELITE but nevertheless l enjoyed the Korean version of it.

I LOVED THIS OMG

It was a super good series to watch with great character developments, plotwists and super good special effects.
This is so far the best adaptation of the original ´parasite ´ ! The scenarists really did justice to it !
My fav characters were definitely Kang woo for how hard he was trying to live life despite everyone dear to him being dying (his sisters, his best friend), getting betrayed. Shoutout to his friendship with with ki-seok that was unfortunately shortly showcased but we could see how close they were, joking around each other, helping each other out and even sacrificing for the other…?. I love how he got a good end !

Heidi is such a good living being. Till the end, she kept it cool and always cared about what was thinking her host. They really had a great bond with si-u and later on kang woo. These three were really the best part of the series ! I really wanted to see her happy for once but I never got to see it nor her ?

RIP to the inspector btw. His co-partner is and will always be trash to me because no matter if he was threatened or not by the reverend, he really looked like he was enjoying it for sure !

The female director of the grey division might look cold hearted and all but she was just being pragmatic and even if at the beggining for example she was mistreating the inhabitated corpse of her husband for her goal (detect and kill parasites), I totally understood because it was no more her husband but just the ´ enveloppe ‘. She even cried after his ´enveloppe ´ was destroyed because she lost him for real. That showed how human she stayed deep inside herself. She is such a self-reflected character and useful one that I can’t bring myself to hate her !

Now let me end this by : Heidi I love you ! Even if you committed suic!de smh, to let su-in have a good life and ´live in humans company ´ calmly, you’ll always be in my heart, as the best parasite to ever exist !

I’m super tuned for s2 because it was so smoothly introduced. Netflix better not ruin this incredible series ??
The cast is so good as well as the acting. I already knew kang woo’s actor from previous works and knew how good he was but shoutout to su-in’s actress because she managed to embodied two characters, especially Heidi one who has the characteristic of having a poker face 24/7 as other parasites. The actress did it so good that she could switch between the two characters (Heidi and su-in) and you would still differenciate both because of her great acting skills (and the makeup ofc)

So far I'm enjoying it, I'm just not satisfied with Gemini's performance and the production, I didn't like the JP drama and as this is an adaptation of the manga I'm looking forward to the next episodes, but we're in episode 2 so it can get better, hoping it gets better forward. I'm going to keep watching because I'm enjoying it so far and I'm not comparing it to the Japanese version, as most of the negative comments are doing, as it's an adaptation of the manga and it's a Thai version, I'm liking it.

Another good bl series from me mind y

Our boys are back and we love to see them. Peat does an excellent job as Tongrak. The cheeky bastard and the snooty diva! The dark skin against the fair skin! The push and pull of immediate intense attraction! Isn't it great when one of your favorite couples come back with even more chemistry and charisma than before ?

The first episode was everything! Peat is oh so desirable and Fort looks good enough to eat. Connor knew what he was doing when he sent Mahasamut those pictures of a sleeping Tongrak. I can bet Mahasamut fell for him right then. Tongrak didn't take long to fall for him either. It's obvious that he is fighting his attraction for the annoying but irresistible Mahasamut with all he has. It's a losing battle already and he hasn't even been on the island for 2 days ? Mahasamut comforting a crying Tongrak took me back to the last episode of LITA. Don't we love a protective king ?

PS. Fort here reminded me so much of the young Shahrukh Khan (superstar of Indian films). The same cocky attitude that hides a romantic heart. The same cheeky grin and wayward hair. The same warm gaze. My boy is a star! ?

hear me out...

I loveee everything about it except... maybe... the ending. I mean, I'm kind of torn about it because I'm aware that dysfunctional (?) relationships are really a thing when it comes to japanese media (i also read manga sooo iykyk) but in this case i kind of didnt want them to follow that kind of storyline and i was lowkey expecting them not to because izumiya and nao had potential. like, it felt like they could make it work as a couple even though it was quite obvious that nao liked sakaki. it wasnt just the age gap that kind of bothered me with sakaki and nao but its the fact that their parents had a double affair so them being together (i mean, that's how it looked like with the movie ending) feels wrong. anyways, i liked the cast hirose suzu will always deliver, i love her and also the one who portrayed nao and izumiya (the little sister) they also did a good job. the lighthearted/comedic parts were also good. the sceneries were also so gorgeous. so all in all, i really enjoyed watching this movie and i recommend it <3 AND THEY HAVE A CAT!!! the cat was so cuteee. i almost cried when i thought they wouldn't adopt it.

Noona romance

"Age is just a number" is a phrase overused by people who enter relationships with a huge age gap. While this is acceptable in some cultures - this kind of age gap is still frowned upon in other cultures.
I say this because viewers need to arm themselves with a good understanding of cultural norms because even though this is a work of fiction, the behaviours portrayed aren't too far from the truth. Without a thorough understanding of culture, viewers will easily question the motives of the characters portrayed in this series.
-
The way this kind of relationship was portrayed was well done. I liked how they toned down the bullying and sexual harassment unlike the original which seemed to dwell on the abuse more than anything else.
-
Now the elephant in the room - non blood related step siblings. ML's mother married FL's father. I'm not going to detail what the domestic arrangements are because this aspect of the story will be a hit or miss. Others in the comment section are already turned off by this taboo-like situation. I say taboo-like because again there will be cultures out there who will not be bothered by this so I chose to suspend my disbelief so I could enjoy the show at peace.
-
Regardless of the situation our main leads had to go through, at its core this is still a perfect example of a noona romance which I wouldn't mind rewatching in the future.

Ended my Kdrama slump , loved it !!

So basically it's a time travel story in which Our Fl goes back and forth to save ML and they save each other in the end. I just loved how BSW only had eye for Fl in every revind and every future story.
It has all the cliches that I like-
Male lead loves fL first
Rich ML
Possessive ML
Calm And caring ML
Warm FL
But you still feel like rewatching it is that wholesome.
Honestly, in first few minutes in drama I was really annoyed by Fl of how she was behaving like a 12 year old and with squeky voice but you will regret not continuing as it gets so much better from there onwards and when we see fl in emotional scenes then we are able to connect with her acting.
And the title is well suited for the drama as Fl is always running away from ML , only to be even closer to ML.
Must watch show, loved every scene and that one scene when fl pokes ML in nostril was so hilarious ?.
Also appa and Umma of ML and fL had really funny conversations. Granny did a great job too.

Started for Dylan, Stayed for the plot and Dylan

Frankly speaking I only started this series because of the ml . I’m a big fan and decided to explore his other series after watching the love between fairy and demon.
This is my first time watching a historical drama that isn’t centered around cultivation and so I didn’t really have any interest . I read the comments here on mdl and was discouraged further but decided to continue and I’m glad I did .

The fl’s character was refreshing to watch . She was always quick on her feet and wasn’t easily bullied which I genuinely loved . I also love how the love story between her and Dylan developed. It wasn’t rushed or forced .

Honestly the drama did get boring at some point for like 5-10 episodes but after those episodes, the drama picked up and I binge watched it to the end . The boring episodes were like from 8-15 . I’m not certain of the exact episodes but it’s around there .

I don’t want to get into the details and end up dropping spoilers but all I’ll say is ignore the negative comments and just watch the series for yourself. Try to hang in there till like episode 16/17 and you’ll be fine .
The rewatch value is low simply because I’m not really the type to rewatch dramas. So you can ignore that .

Have a great watch ! ❤️

eu trocaria o final de alguns.

Jae-hyung e Se-seung mais fofos, Yong-woo e Ju-yeon os que menos gostei, Cheol-hyun e Cho-a os mais bonitos, Yun-jaes e Yun-ha o melhor casal. Jung-sub deveria namorar uma IA. Ju-yeon … coitada!!!

One of the bl that has left a deep impression on me

One of the best korean bl that i have ever watched! We dont usually see a bl that involves music with it but this is definitely a masterpiece! The pacing isnt rushed and each characters backstories is explained very well! The plot is very interesting and im sure everyone will relate to it! The acting is superb as always! I also love the chaotic but sweet interaction of each characters! The soundtrack and ost's that was used are so beautiful! I really loved watching bl's where the main leads or characters showcase their talents! Kudos to the whole production of this series for giving us a high quality bl! It is truly a gem that is definitely worth to watch! ❣️

The Hires 2.0 with fancy aesthetics but predictable plot & lack of Chemistry b/w leads

Let's start with the plot side by side characters;

Hierarchy is not about the rich or poor it's about who has more power in this chain, nobody gives a damn about teachers/principal because the school was established by the conglomerate Jooshin Group whose hire is Kim Ri An, that school is his playground, basically what we already see in Boys over Flower, The Hires, F4, Sky Castle, and Penthouse series already. Netflix spends a lot on aesthetics, Fancy cars, fancy backgrounds, beautiful cast, and costumes in the end they don't have much for the script.

Kang Ha (Lee Chae Min): This character has so much potential but the writer be like: no, he is a poor kid, let's make him clueless. A guy who comes to the school to find out who Bullies his brother later leads to his de@th, without any plan. He should take revenge But this is not a revenge plot (wasted). This is the 1st Kdrama I watched where ML became a side character. If he had not been in the story, it wouldn't make much difference. This story is supposed to be about his innocent brother Kang In Han's bullies & k!ller to get punished.

According to the title "Hierarchy" he should be fighting for justice in the system But joke on you, the title didn't justify the bland and predictable plot. Instead, the title should be "Rich Kids Problem" don't get it? Let's meet these 4 real main leads of the story;

Jung Jae I (Roh Jeong Eui): She is a cold & bitchy rich FL, who doesn't want anyone to know she is pregn@nt but she took the pregn@ncy test at his friend's birthday party when the whole school was invited, & didn't show that to her loyal childhood love/bf instead show that to a new friend Kang In Han who is a scholarship student gets bullied by her bf's friends.
Now I understand why she sits on the main poster while everyone is standing. She is the kind of girl who says something & does exactly the opposite.

Jung Jae I: You are my best friend He Ra since the moment we hang out.
Meanwhile: she never even considered her a friend, she didn't even acknowledge her.

Jung Jae I: You can have him (Ri An), I'm leaving for NY. Best of luck.
**A few moments later**
Reach to her farewell Party with her BF

Kim Ri An (Kim Jae Won): The second ML is the actual ML. Everyone is criticizing the plot but like him, he is a green flag? it wasn't his fault if FL didn't tell him the reason and ghosted him for 3 months. In the whole series, the only job he does as eye candy is walk, Ri An walks into the Hall, walks in the rugby field, walks with his sidekicks behind, and is a so-called bad boy who doesn't do anything except for yk what I mean?

His character isn't like Li Min Ho's The Hires where he was a bully, Ri An doesn't give a f**k to anyone he knows his classmates bullying a student because of him but he did nothing. In the end, he apologizes half-heartedly because Jae I said so. The only satisfying scene was when he beat FL's step bro.

Lee U Jin(Lee Won Jung): If you see him in My Perfect Stranger you know he is an excellent actor, but his role there is not that deep you can’t see aside from his looks.

Yun He Ra (Ji Hye Won): Her character is too predictable yet she did well. I think she doesn't really like Ri An, she actually wanted to be Jae I. She was just jealous but she is girls girl in the end.

You don't need enemies If you have friends like them. The plot doesn't have any mystery or thriller, the Main leads don't have any chemistry. Ri An & Jae I also don’t have any chemistry. The Second leads has more chemistry than the MLs. You can understand that* Ri An and Jae I liked each other since childhood but there is no point in Jae I liking Kang Ha when she said in the end that she liked him. The whole time she only liked Ri An suddenly saying this is so unnecessary. What is the point of telling him that?

In the end, if you think that the k!ller is arrested and Ri An admits that he was one of the bullies does it make any change?

Nope! The consequences that are not shown in the drama could be that it will be in your records that you were a bully and you will have fewer chances to be accepted into the prestigious University of SK. But they are the 0.01% of wealthy kids who don't consider those Universities instead they choose to went abroad for further studies.

The Bullies face the authority but Did they get punished?

No, they get back to their life like nothing happened. Imagine someone losing their life because of you and the maximum punishment for you is to went abroad on your Daddy's money. (It's not about Jae I)

Do I recommend Hierarchy?

No! But it's up to you because S1 has nothing to keep you if you have watched the good Kdramas you are not going to like that predictable cliche plot, but if you want to see the cast you could. Instead of watching Hierarchy, you could watch The Hires at least it has a story.

PS: I had a few questions, If Jae I paid Kang Ha's fees for those special classes why didn’t he attend it after she had gone? did she get a refund? maybe he attends separately who knows? Is Rugby popular in SK? This is 1st time I have seen Rugby in a Kdrama. If ML didn’t leak that one video, Ri An mother would also won’t do that, so, how does it leak?

Edit: My prospects for this series changed a lit bit, after seeing the post-credit scene (which I watched after roasting it) Maybe there are 7 more episodes of this series where ML takes revenge for his brother.

Well deserved Daesang for Park Eun Bin

Honestly I don’t know how Park Eun Bin did it, I cannot think of anyone else who could have done what she was able to pull off in this show. She’s truly a talent. She was able to portrait a disabled person realistically without causing any discomfort for the watchers.
She was able to make me love her characters without feeling sorry.

A classic that you can rewatch 100 times

This series is one that you can’t hate anybody in the drama. You fall in love with everybody. You cry with them and laugh with them. I admire their musical and instrumental skills and how hard they worked to bring us the live show after.
I wish they could have 10 seasons. What a wonderful show!
