5 episodes out of 6 : a bloody original idea ! Well done and with potential. I hope it ends properly.Last episode: ... Sooo ... a deity keeps score ? Those damn Catholics were right.
What a shame and a waste of potential. We deserve real endings in our dramas. The story could say so many things and it is limited to the bare minimum without looking any further, then it finds itself with its foot against the wall, unable to conclude.

If you like lighthearted stories with cute couples and awesome chemistry, this one if for you!
I really enjoyed this one! Main leads relationship is soooo cute and they really feel like a couple. They were always kissing, hugging...their intimacy level was high. We had cute AND hot scenes of them and it didn’t feel forced at all, their chemistry is just natural. The main story is nothing new tho, just like any college rom-com, but I believe the couple can carry everything with their chemistry.Duang is sooo cute!! A little over the top, yes, and maybe you’ll find him annoying but it wasn’t my case. To me he was easily likeable. Teetee did a great job here because Duang has some really cringe scenes but it felt naturally with Teetee’s acting. He matched the character vibes perfectly. Qin is more reserved and introverted but he opens up more later and becomes a cute character as well. In general DuangQin couple the definition of a cat and dog relationship. I enjoyed Duang’s friends too, their friendship was really cute!
One thing I didn’t like that much was the secondary couple. I felt their dynamics was a little weird and they had potential to bring more to the table. They almost didn’t have screentime too and it looked like they were only there to fill the gap.
In general it’s a lighthearted drama with cute characters, awesome chemistry and very few problems to get in the way of the couple. When the couple gets together, they're REALLY together, and everything is resolved through dialogue. Definitely a good start for the year!
PS: I’m already excited for the next projects of TeeteePor couple! I’m seeing some clips of them on Twitter and they’re so lovely 😭

These two detectives have no concept of personal space or privacy. They should have lived together from the start.“Can I trust you ? To the point that even if the truth comes out, your trust will remain ?”
A thriller that starts off very strong but runs out of steam two-thirds of the way through. We have everything we need to solve the mystery, and we get lost in confirmations of what we already know, and we wait a little too long for the solution. Twelve episodes would have been enough instead of sixteen. The beginning offers dynamic staging, nighttime rain, and landscapes like fields of reeds. But it quickly becomes shot-reverse shot and close-ups on faces. It's curious because the same thing happens in Good Boy by the same director, Sim Na-yeon. But they're still quality series !
I saw Kim Shin-rock in two good series this year, where she played completely different characters. So much so that I wasn't sure it was the same actress. I find her here, again in a radically different role. I love this kind of professional who knows how to reinvent herself and deliver demanding performances.
On the other hand, the series presents journalists as disrespectful and stupid troublemakers. And the police as a big, supportive family in the positive sense of the term, sticking together against the bad apples. Whereas, well... the police are mostly a mafia that covers for each other so they never have to answer for their actions.
Ps : In episode 1, it is explained that you can only report someone missing if they are a minor, autistic, mentally disabled, or suffering from dementia. In Korea, if I, a responsible and independent adult, cut ties with my dangerous family, someone can report me missing and send the cops after me ? What a nightmare ! People disappear for their own legitimate reasons. The police are there to continue harassing them.

It's impressive to advance investigations across multiple time frames like that. They intertwine from one case to the next to paint a complete picture at the end. What a feat of writing by Kim Eun-hee.These multi-layered plots are always fun, as witnesses are needed to provide new clues, so we revisit previous scenes and discover each time that someone else was there and saw everything. All those prying eyes !
It really is the excellent suspense series it promised to be. Each episode ends with mounting tension and a new element to the investigation. It takes several minutes to get there, not just painful cliffhangers. And thankfully so, given the traumas that are addressed. It's emotionally heavy going. The walkie-talkie scene: "I've waited 15 years for you. Say something, please !"...
That said, body language is complete bullshit. Only charlatans sell their expertise in this field, which has absolutely no scientific basis. It's on a par with psychological assessments for the courts. Complete rubbish. And profiling isn't based on anything either. (We can attribute all sorts of intentions to murderers since their opinions don't count. And we will never be inside their heads) At least it makes for good plot devices. And we even get the hypnosis sequence to recover memories, the whole shebang ! (Memory isn't a hard drive where you can retrieve a file of memories.)
Accidentally, a series that denounces the police. Welcome to this conference.
From the second episode onwards, we see that the police lie to extract confessions. They lie and intimidate the suspect. It's scandalous, but tragically, these people have the right to do so, and even if they didn't, they would never refrain from doing it. They also have no right to kill people or deprive them of medication and sleep in their cells, but that has never stopped them.
Later, the young inspector threatens an old gangster with charging him with illegal gambling if he doesn't give him the answers he wants, and this is presented in a positive light because it advances the investigation. It's just threats and abuse of power, even corruption, since he's turning a blind eye to a crime in exchange for something...
In fact, these police series always put us in the shoes of police officers who do unacceptable things, but because we want to know who is guilty, we end up validating them. Instead of rebelling. What right do they have to ruin other people's lives ? Their curiosity and ability to destroy us should be questioned, but never is.
At one point, a police officer lectures during an interrogation, saying that the victims had families who loved them. It really annoys me to hear that. What if the people who were murdered were alone, isolated, without families ? Would it be okay to kill them then ? Great message.
Another lecture from a policewoman to a colleague : he should shut up and obey instead of trying to "impose his opinions"... he was just trying to help with the investigation and the chief wasn't listening to him. And then she adds : "I don't know why you hate the police so much." I have a few ideas, if you want to hear them. But don't change a thing, you stupid police officers ! Keep up the good work with your 6 out of 10 unsolved cases. It has never been the goal of the police, anyway, contrary to what the copaganda would have us believe. And it's not a question of rules or laws preventing them from doing so, they already don't respect the law.
Throughout, the section chief is portrayed as a poor cop tortured by his choices, and he is offered redemption when he searches for a scarf, evidence that he could have shared instead of keeping it to himself. He wanted to ease his conscience, selfishly, after lying and destroying. The guy is a scumbag, period. I hate the way crime series redeem bastards who have done nothing to earn forgiveness. He's suffering in his little heart ? That's the least he deserves. It's like asking me to mourn the murder of a Nazi by another Nazi (a totally hypothetical situation). No, no, no, my eyes are dry.
In this series, with all their little speeches about being good police officers, I started to wonder if it wasn't all tongue-in-cheek. They spend their time pissing people off with their haughty, moralising attitudes without ever arresting the right people. Those losers. And then they're all miserable, the poor things.
No, but I liked the series, eh ! It's great. It's just that I can't stand stories about nice detectives devoted to truth and justice. It's so far from reality.
PS: In episode 7, the woman in the café is reading a huge tome by Walter Benjamin. Good for her. I love that philosopher, but I don't know if I could read that to relax in a crowded place.
PS2: Saying that you become a serial killer because you were abused as a child is very silly given the prevalence of adultism against children.
PS3: Either talk or eat, but don't do both, you bunch of slobs ! What is this mixing ?

Not a fan of the young murderer who is necessarily insane and also dresses up as a woman. Surely we can stop with that after a while, can't we ?And IQ is classist nonsense (invented to keep poor people out of higher education) and racist, to boot. (The famous world map of IQs that fascists love.) Right, let's stop with this crap, shall we ? Come on, let's do it.
I watched this series solely because of Kim Hye-soo, and she really carries it. Unstoppable, funny and poignant.
The irresistible Jung Sung-il is so funny as a jaded character with a keen sense of justice. These two form a dynamic duo that makes this story, full of twists and turns, very engaging. You think it's going to be a comedy with seasoned reporters, but the real theme is the rich's stranglehold on the media. Rich people who made their fortunes under Japanese occupation, no less.
Park Seo-yeon, I wondered where I had seen her before, and it was in a similar series (a mix of investigation and humour) called ‘From Now On, Showtime !’.
The whole team of crazy journalists is endearing. We want a second season. Oh yes, we do !
Eat the rich. Save investigative journalism.
PS: Kang Ho employs the well-known ‘YouTuber strategy'. Namely, behaving like a selfish little shit and pretending to be a victim at the first sign of trouble. All that was missing was for him to equate criticism with harassment, and we'd be all set.

This GL is very underrated and deserves so much, REAL HIDDEN GEM
I'm annoyed that I postponed this drama, but the good thing is that I FINALLY got to watch it and here's my opinion.I'm gonna be honest, I mostly love all GL's (try to) but this GL, made me feel something that NOT all GL's make me feel.
Tension, curiosity, excitement, anger, sadness, happiness. All at once. Each episode was more intense (one more than other, clearly) and I was always excited for the next one. I loved the chemistry between the actresses and was so happy when I saw that they were apparently going to have more series together. I loved the acting of the other actors too; some acted so well in their villainous roles that I genuinely hated them (only in their roles, nothing outside of that). I also feel a strong connection to this series because it contains police drama and crime, which added even more points to it. Mixing police drama with romance, its always a HELL YEAH for me.
I'm glad I found this GL and I recommend it a thousand times over. I feel that it still doesn't have the popularity it deserves, so I hope that Tungpang Jessie, in their next project, will get that 100% deserved recognition so that Heart Code can finally become popular.

Insufferable FL
Things I liked1 I loved high school and college dramas so that had great ratings and I thought it'd be perfect like Our Secret. I was mistaken.
2 The actors and characters other than the FL and the 2FL. They were sympathetic enough and wanted them to be happy.
Things I disliked
1 The chemistry between the leads. There was none. Truly none.
2 The ML actor. I don't think he's very talented although I don't remember him any other dramas to compare, but here he wasn't as good as I expected.
Things I hated
1 The FL. Awful actress and awful character. I rarely say this because usually I find every character has something to like, but here she was so unpleasant I couldn't take it anymore. I watched the last episode and she was even worse than before. Why would anyone fall in love with her is beyond my understanding. The ending was ridiculous and didn't make me change my mind.

The story is lacking compared to the anime series
April is coming to the end. This year I finally decided to watch the live action movie of my favorite anime series.I think it should have been produced as a drama instead of a movie. A lot of important scenes from the anime was cut off from this live action movie, which made the story very confusing and less emotionally connecting.
Overall, the music performances were nice, the movie has beautiful cinematography and visuals. Hirose Suzu and Yamazaki Kento looked great together, and the cast’s acting was also good. However, the story was very lacking. I didn’t deeply connect with the characters as how I felt when watching the anime. It didn’t really touch my heart.
I think I would probably enjoy it more if I haven’t watched the anime before. I couldn’t refrain myself from comparing it to the anime a bit.

One thing I noticed is the difference between Ji Hyun and Jae Won. Ji Hyun has good, supportive friends, but Jae Won doesn’t. Even though Jae Won is always sitting with his friend Tae Hyun, he doesn’t treat him well. Tae Hyun comes across as rude and jealous, and he often hurts him. I think friendships like that are unhealthy and shouldn’t be part of our lives.

A Really Good Coming of Age Romance
Contrast is a really good yet delicate coming of age romance drama, It's a pity FOD decided to drop all episodes in one go in Japan which honestly killed the hype for the domestic audience and also did not give time for the production nor actors to promote and market the drama. I feel it would've gain more domestic popularity if it was aired normally.I watched the drama without knowing the original source but the youth vibe of the story is captured beautifully. The two MC are likeable yet complex in their own ways. I thought the way the drama handle the grooming situation with Akira is done so realistically well that we, as the audience knows, Akira is never going to realize the damages Kanda had done to him. Akira was at a sensitive age when he feels like by simply existing hurts after being bullied by the boy he liked for being gay. He's young and depressed, and finally, he confides to his tutor Kanda who gives the awful advice of how he, a gay man himself, finds "balance" in life by sleeping with other men. They somehow gets into a secret relationship for years, and we can see how his so called "balance" only further destroy Akira's self esteem when he meets Kanata. He pushes him away despite their attraction because he feels like he's not strong nor pure. He's afraid he can't go through another painful rejection from a boy he likes again.
Kanata and Akira's relationship is full of angst and charms. One is fragile and other is doing all he can to show him love. This is one of those dynamics that is forever loved. The only thing I dislike is the drama giving us all this angst and a few minutes of them being together at the end only. It's probably the one thing JBL has been doing that everyone complains about, and I get that it's how a lot of romance manga are written but sometimes as a drama, it feels like the ending is not rewarding for after all the angst.

The film’s visuals are intense and immersive, making the battle scenes feel realistic and gripping
Chen Hui’s performance in Eight Hundred left a deep impression on me and I know I will carry it with me for a long time. From the moment he appeared on screen I could see how much thought and care he put into this role. He didn’t just act he became the character. He showed us a man who was afraid, but still chose to be brave but never gave up.
What I loved most was how real he felt. In the middle of all the chaos and noise. He brought a sense of humanity to the story.
Thank you Chen hui for telling this story with so much honesty and soul. You tough our hearts.

I wishes it could have been better.
What I disliked:Few participant: The show tries taking a turn from the normal high school drama, but the turn wasn't good in the aspecct of leaving 5 students playing the game, for how few the numbers of the game player was, it created less thrill to me, the death was once and all, the last death happened because she was a big villain that deserved death, not because you were innocent, the death was created to get your attention into the show for those who love horror and suspense tag.
With how few the student participating actually is and only the main characters made a wish, the story wouldn't definitely want to leave half of the main characters dead.
The concept was nice, but wasn't a strong pulling force: Expected something more, like the students forced inot the app or entered accidentally, not expecting you having a choice to make a wish and coincidentally with most of the main characters playing the game they all made a wish which was lame and dumb.
A student actually writes down their birthday and everything and tells the app to grant their wisha and you say they thought it was a joke 'I find it a joke", when your birth calendar has been written purposely, and you then wish for the death of your friend in the so-called phone and you don't believe in the app, it sucks. They could have just made them real villains
Talking about some ridiculous concept, it was already reluctantly okay with the the premise, but then the wish could actually stop, at some incidence I mean does the writer actually wants to save the children.
Pacing Inconsistencies: The minor problem that I actually found heart wrenching the pacing was bad the writers were wrong they jumped from a real suspense moment of searching the house of an occultist into flashbacks on one of the leads and it continued through the end I mean are you actually playing me down in seeing my etching suspense.
Pick up one: Stop playing some rom-com in my suspense-horror, we didn't come for those hectic romance, you could have stopped in EPS one since the horrors haven't yet come by then and not stretched out to the romance to the end, they can play the real rom-com at the end of their struggles.
What I Loved:
The actors performance: As young as the actor they were the light of this show, the performance carried out by each of them was noteworthy and I was overwhelmed by distinctive villain and saving roles.
The suspense was a real hook, the horror was okay and the lighting gave in a lot for those horror.
Overall If wishes could kill is a drama I can't rewatch (I don't basically rewatch dramas) it had some horrors in to that, it gave me some flinching jumpscares, with plot holes that kills me and I find it had not to get tired but I basically enjoyed it.
P.s Netflix better stop their greedy nature the series have come to a close, their is no need to foreshadow that their is gonna be S2. The ending was really okay.

Creepy, winding, esoteric… and incomplete
I was unimpressed in the beginning. It felt like If Wishes Could Kill was trying to reheat Night Has Come’s nachos, which didn’t sound particularly appealing considering I didn’t care for those nachos fresh. But then it took a step back from shock-value gore and leaned more heavily into eldritch suspense, and it started to grow on me. It knew when to slow down and linger, when to pan away, when to lighten the mood and let the viewer breathe, and when to trust the viewer to read between the spoken lines.
For a minute there, it felt like I was in good hands. I could just sit back and enjoy the ride while the rollercoaster took us up, up, up the track to the misty summit, where the carriage crested, the mist cleared, and we plummeted…
10 feet.
After all that anticipatory climbing, the ride proceeded to slow to an anticlimactic stop not even a third of the way down, dump us, and reverse.
Is that it? Is the ride over, or is it still under construction? Why would they let us on an unfinished ride? Why build it so high if they didn’t have the materials to bring us the same distance back down?
Yeah.
That’s the feeling, and it’s a shame because I think this cast had a lot to juggle and, for the most part, managed to pull it off (shout out to Mina—I haven’t really kept up with her since IOI and she did a fab job portraying a completely incomprehensible character). And what did they get for their hard work?
A non-ending positively swimming in unanswered questions.
• What happened to Si Won’s dad?
• What did Si Won do to provoke whatever it was her mom died trying to protect her from?
• Why was Hye Ryung so easily convinced to just… leave her friend’s mom to die???
• Why did Hye Ryung immediately jump to SACRIFICING HERSELF IN THE MOST GRUESOME MANNER IMAGINABLE TO CURSE HER EX-BFF & FORMER CRUSH when she was bullied for the first time?? I feel like that is a plan z course of action???
• Why did Si Won wish for the curse to continue? The only people she might want dead are ALREADY dead?? What was the thought process here, because attributing it to revenge is just not cutting it for me
• How did Hyeong Wook’s death get settled so quietly??
• Why introduce the mechanic of subsequent wishes stopping the timer on previous wishes if Si Won is still gonna hunt all wishers down, regardless?
• Why did no one even consider wishing to end the cycle?
• Why was Se A given such Chosen One treatment if there wasn’t gonna be any payoff? No dormant shamanistic aptitude? No family secrets? No “I almost died in the accident that killed my parents and have a stronger connection to the afterlife” reveal? NOTHING???
• Ha Yeong. What’s with the snake? How did she go from Regular Joe to Vessel of Divine Power? Was the power acquired? Awakened? How did she link up with Bang Ul? Ffs.
• If Ha Yeong can weaken Si Won’s influence, why didn’t anyone suggest rounding up all the wishers and bringing them to the shrine, if only to contain some of the chaos while Se A and Bang Ul set out to fight the final boss?? Hello?? Risk & liability avoidance anyone?
• Why was Na Ri so fixated on her crush??? Girl, you were just STABBED, and you’re more mad that your crush got with your friend??? Be so fr
I could go on but I don’t feel like it
You get the idea
This drama is a tease

This series will forever hold a special place in my heart!
it's not perfect, but I just love it so much. saying pit babe is the best series is a bit difficult since it just lacks in so many ways. but it's always like this with comfort shows. you know it's kinda bad, but you can't help rewatching a million times.pit babe has always been that series i've been wanting to see. a decent bl that goes beyond romantic love story and the usual everyday lives of two men falling in love. I felt so much while watching pit babe 2. we got the exciting plot, the angst, the love story, and the cute chemistry.
i love how they gave northsonic the happy ending they deserved (unlike the novel) and I'm so happy for them! although it's a bit disappointing for me that kimkenta and peteway didn't end up together officially, but at least they didn't end things in bad terms.
I've been obsessing over this series for the longest time. Rewatched it millions of times and will rewatch it another million and one times! I'm actually on my way to rewatch the series as i write this.

series so good i'd do anything to watch it for the first time again
Call me biased but this series was the absolute best for me in 2025! I know they lacked in some ways, but i really really loved how it turns out. I was obsessed with singsa latai since the very first episode.I'm actually glad they decided to change darin's character to a man because it adds more chemistry to the story (or maybe i'm just down bad for seydarin lol). Michaeltopten's chemistry is just over the roof I can't get over them. Especially that hospital scene when darin wakes up finding sey sleeping beside him. and that bathtub scene too!
I'd also like to applaud poohs' acting this time. I just fell for thup since the first episode. He was so lost and innocent, i get why singha ends up adopting this puppy. The small details like thup pinching singha's shirt drove me mad. That's just so crazy. I can feel pooh's improvement after pit babe. He did way better here.
almost forgot to mention their addictive OST too. I just listened to pray and loop on loop the whole time the series aired.
overall i'm just so obsessed over singsa latai, i am never moving on. I will rewatch until the end of time. or until we get that michaeltopten series we've been waiting too long for.
