I don’t even know where to start!First of all, this post contains spoilers, so please don’t read it if you don’t want to be spoiled! The drama is incredible
the story, the music, and the acting are all top-tier.I already knew the two main actors from their previous roles in other series, but I discovered the actresses here, and they are fantastic! I was really impressed by Cheong-a’s acting quality. It’s very difficult to play roles like this, but she did it perfectly. She managed to convey so much distress in the scenes where her mother beats her, the love scenes, and the school scenes. I think we can all agree on one thing: a huge BRAVO to her for the incredible performance she delivered in this drama!! Eun-yu was also a great discovery. I didn’t know the actress before and I was really blown away by her! Now, let’s talk about the story. It’s heavily centered around the theme of deaf and mute people. I think some viewers might feel a bit hesitant in the first episode because of this theme, but from the second episode onward, you get completely hooked, and the desire to keep watching only grows stronger. Especially when it jumps to 1995. After episode 4, I was even more eager to continue.I really loved the love story between I-chan and Se-gyeong, the reason behind the creation of the music band, the jealousy and little rivalries it caused, and all the efforts I-chan made to stop his father from pursuing Se-gyeong. I enjoyed the little “war” between the three of them. There are so many great scenes!
Then there’s the adorable moment when I-chan starts developing feelings for Cheong-a after she gives him a drawing, the fax scenes, and the horrible moments where her mother makes her life miserable. Honestly, that mother drove me crazy in every scene she plays the despicable character so well!
The moment when Eun-gyeol discovers the truth about the hell she endures at home and helps her was incredibly touching! And the ending with the accident… I was completely shocked. I never saw it coming at all! I had imagined it very differently, so it was great to be surprised. Then we get the very emotional hospital scenes with Eun-yu and Se-gyeong’s father, the double moon, the choice to leave or stay, and even more heartbreaking moments at the hospital. How could you not cry?! An incredible ending. The whole family completely changes for the better it was truly WOW!!
The OSTs are amazing too. Big bravo!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DRAMA!!!

Another series I really liked has come to an end.
I actually enjoyed this more than I expected, especially since it has a university setting. It just worked better for me than I thought it would.
Now it kind of feels like I’m running out of things to watch… 😭

When Ruthlessness Finds Its Rest
After watching Zhang Linghe in POJ as all so perfect and gorgeous Marques of Wuhan here I land on The story of Kunning Palace to watch him as a red flag toxic ML with cute chubby cheeks! While the FL often maintains a beautiful but somewhat static composure regardless of the stakes, Zhang Linghe carries the emotional weight of the show. You see ML with all varied emotions. You can feel his anger, frustration, desperation ,coldness, madness and longing to be loved .
In her second life, the Female Lead is granted the proximity to finally see the Male Lead for who he truly is. He is far from the conventional "boy next door"; he is a high-and-mighty, ruthless strategist who demands both respect and caution.
Initially, her heart is ruled by a deep-seated fear, but as the layers of his cold exterior peel away, terror transforms into a profound, aching pity. She begins to understand the wreckage of his past and the physical and mental sickness that haunts him. What follows is not a typical fairy-tale romance, but a raw, mutual recognition of shared brokenness. Their bond becomes a transformative process—a journey where two flawed souls stop running from their shadows and instead begin the difficult, beautiful work of healing one another.

I did not expect that, my bad for not reading the synopsis. BUT I was positively (?) surprised. I did expect more of a love/hate relationship (like before they got to be together), but they show me how they live as a couple, after a few years. Especially as an idol and his hidden boyfriend.
They were cute together and I loved how the main character tried to accept the fact he liked his enemy, it was funny.

I honestly feel sad that I didn’t discover Love Like the Galaxy earlier in any apps i have, I enjoyed it SO MUCH that I barely slept for two days just to finish it.You can never really go wrong with Zhao Lusi—she was amazing as always. What surprised me the most was the tone of the drama. It had politics, but it wasn’t heavy or draining. In fact, a lot of it felt light and even comedic at times, which is so rare for a historical drama.
And can we talk about the palace characters? For the first time ever, I watched a drama where the consort and the empress weren’t toxic. Empress Xuan was so kind, understanding, and emotionally intelligent. Same with Consort Yue—calm, wise, and fair. And the emperor? 😂 He was so biased, but in a funny and lovable way. It made the whole palace dynamic feel refreshing instead of stressful.
Of course, there were still characters that tested my patience, especially the Fifth Princess and Third Princess—but thankfully, they didn’t dominate the entire story.
Ratings
* Conflict: 10/10
* Acting: 10/10
* Overall: 10/10
If I had one small issue, it would be the relationship between Cheng Shaoshang (Niaoniao) and her mother. I understand that her mother was trying to protect her, but at times it felt too overbearing, and the misunderstandings could have been resolved sooner. It was a bit sad to see Niaoniao find more comfort and motherly warmth from the empress instead of her own mother.
On the brighter side, her relationship with her father and brothers was incredibly heartwarming and refreshing. Wished there were more scenes with her family, more bonding with her brothers and father too.
I also appreciated how the drama avoided excessive toxicity and unnecessary backstabbing plots. It focused more on growth, relationships, and emotional development. Although the later part of the story became a bit heavier, it still felt meaningful.
I do wish we had more romantic scenes between Ling Buyi and Niaoniao, but overall, this was such a satisfying watch.
Final verdict: A well-balanced drama with heart, humor, and depth. Definitely one of my all time favorites.

Great production, great acting but that's it. It's poorly written and not much chemistry. I was hoping for more.Sometimes, I don't get why the main character is acting this way. Like why did he punch him??
At first I thought he would end with his team leader (but I spoiled myself). And to be honest, he got chemistry with none of them, no cute moment, no tension. No taste.
I can't give it less, because overoll it's greatly produce just a beautiful cake without any taste.

I'm sad to writte a review for it... Every episode were greater than the one before. I was waiting for it every week..
Duang and Qin are so cute together, they suit each other well. their personnality are so good. I love how Duang is really cringe (like the fuck you're almost barking calm down bro), he looks happy in love.
They really show deep connection and respect toward each other.
Even the friendship between all are so heartwarming.
The only flaws is why put a secondary couple if you don't want to give them screen time, not even a single kiss, nothing.

Growth, choices, and finding your place
It's one of those dramas that doesn’t need big dramatic moments to work, it builds everything through consistency and character growth. What I really appreciated is how the story focuses more on life choices, ambition, and resilience rather than just romance. Watching her navigate a completely different era and slowly carve out her own space in such a competitive environment felt genuinely satisfying, especially because nothing comes easy. The relationships are handled in a very grounded way, whether it’s love, friendship, or the connections she builds along the way, everything develops through trust and shared experiences rather than forced drama. The main leads have a very natural dynamic, based more on understanding and support than grand gestures, and that made their relationship feel more real. I also liked how the side characters actually matter, each of them adds something to the story instead of just filling space. The pacing gives time for things to unfold, which makes the emotional moments land better without feeling overwhelming. Was this review helpful to you?
Lot of cute sence r in uncut version hate it
This is not a new kind of story—it’s a very common BL setup: a grumpy boy and a funny, clingy boy. Just an ordinary drama.Duan and his friends are hilarious—they’re like the perfect example of “the blind leading the blind.” I even started thinking he might be Khun Thee’s son from Mee and Thee, especially because his way of expressing love is so awkward and funny.
And then there’s Chucky—oh God. His almost-love-confession scene was pure chaos. He walks in like he’s about to confess, but everything turns messy and he doesn’t even say it. I was literally thinking, “Is anyone really going to confess like this… as a ghost or what?” which made it even funnier. Since he’s basically like a creepy ghost dog character, the whole scene just feels even more ridiculous. That’s why he reminds me of Khun Thee—they both have that same chaotic energy with love confessions. It’s been a long time since a drama made me laugh this much—I really enjoyed this scene.
As for the acting, there’s not much to say—it’s pretty average and not really mind-blowing. But because the characters are well-developed, the acting doesn’t become a big problem, so it still works overall. Duan is really funny and genuinely feels like a puppy-type character. A lot of dramas try to create that “puppy” personality, but this is one of the first times it actually feels real. That said, sometimes his character goes a bit overboard and becomes too lame or overly chaotic, almost like he’s acting insane. If that was toned down, it would be much better. His acting is okay, but there are quite a few scenes with overacting, which I didn’t really like. Still, I’m not saying I dislike Duan—I actually really love him. It’s just that the character can feel a bit too much at times. Overall, the acting is decent, just average.
One more thing I noticed in this drama is that a lot of well-known main actors appear in small roles. I kept spotting familiar faces throughout, which was a nice surprise.
One thing I didn’t like is how they split scenes between the cut version and the uncut version. It feels unfair. A lot of the flirting and small important moments that we see in YouTube clips end up only in the uncut version. It makes the experience feel incomplete if you’re only watching the main release, because you already know there are extra parts you’re missing. It would’ve been better if everything important was included properly in one version instead of separating key scenes like that.

I started it because of the second couple, because I wanted to watch their story (of course I wanted more about them, but I guet that they are only secondary).
The main couple is great, I love how they talk about their struggle and all.
I wish it was longer tho, only 8 episode of 25min :c

Veil of Confusion
Veil of Shadow really cast a shadow in my mind. The story was so confusing and chaotic! I cannot ascertain if it was meant to be adventurous with many heroes or if it's about the last dragon to save the world or if it was a doomed love story between Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi or if if it was a sob story about Ji Ling the blind red fox.I watched this for Joseph Zeng but he did not seem to be the main cast. He had much much lesser screen time compare to Tian Jiarui. And his chemistry with Chen Du Ling didn't work for me. It was non existent and forced.
The character development for everyone was so inconsistent throughout. The push and pull of dying for each other between Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi dragged for many episodes. Their flirting was endless and draggy and boring. The back story on Ji Ling's loneliness was so long I don't know where it was heading. The fight scenes that should matter in the story were so quick and easy rush. This is one drama I will not recommend.

A disappointing final installment of the "Love Syndrome" series with a different cast
PLOT: Itt and Day have been a couple for three years. But Day has a car accident and doesn't recognize Itt, having lost his memory of those three years and reverting to his violent self. With infinite patience, Itt takes care of him while he waits for his memory to return (a few love rivals and a villain lurking in the shadows).+++ I really like Lee Long Shi. I'm OK with Franck, but here, Franck has a terrible hairstyle. Furthermore, the chemistry is far from obvious: Franck gives dead-fish kisses, and the couple doesn't seem comfortable in intimate scenes.
+++ Overall, the cast is good, even if some could improve their acting skills.
+++ Good OSTs, but sometimes the volume is excessive (a common flaw in "lakorns"?)
### The storytelling is a bit slow, with unnecessary scenes and characters. The series would have been better with only 8 episodes. The numerous flashbacks (some very repetitive) also weigh down the narrative.
### Very bad fight scenes: all we see is the choreography :)
### The amnesia storyline is too long and poorly developed.
### Itt's trauma related to driving is inconsistent, and above all, incomprehensible: he hasn't personally experienced a traumatic accident (☆_@)
### The director wanted to maintain the [I'll rape/mistreat and abuse you, but you'll still fall in love with me] premise of the novel and the film, but it's a twisted/perverse idea, and here, it's clumsily executed.
In short, my friend FF helped me finish it!
=> For me, a rather disappointing series (watched once, certainly not twice!)
***************************************************
HE.

I Can Hear Your Voice, the power to hear thoughts, a gift that changes everything!
Overall, this drama is very well done. The events unfold quite quickly. As for the ending, I found it a bit predictable given the context, especially when Min Joon Guk's past is revealed. Concerning the characters, the five-year age gap between the two actors, Lee Jong Suk and Lee Bo Young, didn't bother me too much. Otherwise, I grew attached to the other characters, namely Hye Seong's mother (Kim Hae Sook) and Soo Ha's two friends, Kim Chung Gi (Park Du Sik) and Go Seong Bin (Kim Ga Eun). Special mention goes to Min Joon Guk, played by Jung Woong In. He perfectly embodies the "villain," and his natural face already makes him look like a villain! This guy is simply consumed by a thirst for revenge, to the point that he's lost what little humanity he had left. As for the OST, I really love "In My Eyes," and it perfectly matches the drama's atmosphere. Everything you need to absolutely adore it! In short, this drama is truly excellent! Was this review helpful to you?
I Love Pag!
These special episodes are mostly recaps of previous events that happened in the series. While writing this review, I am reviewing them with this in mind.First special episode was SKarD members writing paperwork and talking about past events. It has some character moments in between. And honestly, seeing SKarD members talking casually with each other warmed my heart. Even if you are binge watching the series, I recommend watching first one to see these interactions.
Second and Third specials were featuring Pag (Perfect Analyze Gadget) and digital avatars of Gedos and Mogusion. They were cracking jokes while summarising the past events. They extend the lore a little bit, and honestly I found them very cute.
These special episodes are skipable. But I advise not to. It was enjoyable to watch them. Have fun!

hua yong obsessed
people who are hesitating to watch this....DONT start this right away because its that awesome...i found the end a little incomplete but its common in chinese bl. the end was good but they can do better. and actors omg they can make a room hot with just by their eyecontact and smirks of hua yong. omegaverse is not common in the dramas especially in bls but it was worth it. when it comes to second lead i hated that they are gonna end up together. i hated shen wen lang so much and he didnt deserve gao tu at all.i just didnt like that wen lang regeted it that much i wanted to see him regret so much. but overall it was a roller coaster ride. Was this review helpful to you?
