Worth a watch
Despite other people's bad reviews, I liked this drama. Admittedly, it's not perfect and you'd have to overlook some of the unrealistic scenarios like:1) Surviving a jump off a cliff and not suffering a miscarriage at that! They didn't show how she survived the fall and how she was rescued at all.
2) Qimin being alive after being stabbed to death which they also conveniently didn't show how and who treated his wounds and took care of him plus he was being sold as a slave when his Royal Surveillance guys could've rescued him from there in the 1st place and no need for Qingkou to rescue him
I liked the fast pacing and how the villains were caught early on and not being dragged out for long like a tiring endless battle in some dramas. For me, Weilong and Angela looked good together despite their 10-year age gap which doesn't show at all! I like strong female leads and Quiluo is definitely it. She's levelheaded and realistic, but she did succumb to a moment of weakness which resulted in her getting pregnant. I like how the characters weren't one-dimensional; they weren't all good and yet weren't all bad either (except for the Chancellor đ ). The most annoying character was the spoiled brat Princess Qingkou. I swear, most dramas have this kind of character! Lastly, Tiger Hu's song was so good it made me have last-song syndrome.

Continued watching this solely for jinyoungâs acting
Being a melodrama freak I couldnât even completely watch this drama. Just because it is a melodrama doesnât mean the story and the characters should not have any real life development. The story just spiralled around one theme the whole time and the ending was ridiculous. Jinyoungâs acting as usual carried the drama other than that there is nothing notable to watch here. The story has no progression. The characters also did not have any character development. The drama being slow paced and melo is not even the problem here, the script is a bunch of bull. I only completed this because of jinyoung and because i wanted to get it done with, just skipped the whole drama after the 4th episode. I would suggest you to watch it if you are a avid fan of jinyoung otherwise just skip it.Was this review helpful to you?

A special which was not special at all...
Oh, MDL woke up and put this page on... But when you have already seen all the episodes, this episode does nothing except killing Ken off... Of course he must be killed off, because the thai police is so incompetent they can't catch him... And they are good in delivering cheesy lines. And having a ten minute discussion if the toilets should be painted green or not. Of course there must be a NC scene in said toilets, because a special without fanservice is not a special. The only thing I can say is, watching this is a waste of time, it feels not special, it does nothing special, it's just watchable and boring and that's it. In this case I have not more to say because I already forgot everything else besides what I have already mentioned :)))

Best xuanhuan of 2026
My experience with "Love Beyond The Grave" feels a bit personal, mainly because I went into it as someone who had already read the novel. That always comes with expectationsâsometimes unfair onesâbut this time, I was genuinely impressed. The drama stays surprisingly faithful to the source material, making only small changes while preserving the emotional core of the story. As a reader, that meant a lot. What really elevates this drama, though, is the acting. Dilraba as He Simu was nothing short of captivating. Thereâs a quiet strength and depth to her performance that makes the character linger long after the episodes end. After being a little disappointed with her previous work, I was hoping sheâd get a role that truly lets her shineâand she absolutely does here.
Chen Feiyu also deserves credit. His portrayal of Duan Xu might not fit the typical image of a hardened general, but thatâs precisely why it works. Duan Xu isnât supposed to be some untouchable war heroâheâs young, impulsive, and full of life. Chen Feiyu leans into that, and it pays off, especially in moments like the North Cheong camp infiltration. And together? Their chemistry feels effortless. You donât just watch themâyou *feel* with them. I found myself laughing one moment and completely wrecked the next.
The supporting cast adds even more flavor. I genuinely couldnât stand Yan Keâand I mean that in the best way possible. Miles Wei did such a good job that my frustration with the character was even stronger than when I read the novel. Zhang Li as Jiang Ai was equally memorable, perfectly embodying that polished, âwrapped in luxuryâ presence without ever feeling flat.
That said, the drama isnât without flaws. The middle portion does drag a bit, just like in the novel, and I had quietly hoped the adaptation would tighten that up. Instead, some choicesâlike changing the Duan Jingyuan discovery sceneâleft me slightly disappointed. The original version had a charm and humor that the drama couldnât quite replicate. And Iâll admit, I really wish they had included the extra chapters from the novel. A more concrete happy ending would have made the whole journey feel even more complete.
One thing I canât overlook is the music. The OSTs are beautiful in that understated wayâthey donât just accompany the story, they stay with you afterward, almost like echoes of the emotions you felt while watching.
At the end of the day, this is a story that grows on you. Itâs not perfect, but itâs sincere. It makes you careâabout the characters, their choices, and everything they lose and hold onto along the way.
If youâre in the mood for something emotional, character-driven, and quietly intense, this is absolutely worth your time.

SO SO SO SO SO SO GOOD!!!!
DAYYUUUUMMMM..... They really ate with this one.Cast/Characters: First off, I cannot express how damn REFRESHING the main leads were!!! Like holy shat they baked a cake a and served with this (whatever that means đ)! They were such cat and dog energy and I was living for it â¤ď¸ Thit holding Dao's hand and the little kisses, like omfg now THAT was FIRE CHEMISTRY ALRIGHT??!!! I cannot even express in words how much I loved them. They both have such sweet hearts that it's lovely to see them find each other đŤ My favorite part was how Dao brings the calm in Thit's life and how Thit brings the chaos in Dao's! I loved that both of them just MOLD so well with each other, without changing their personalities 𼚠It seriously left me with the warm and fuzzies đŤ Both Ngern and Oat absolutely S L A Y E D their roles, like I can't even imagine anyone else playing them, and I need to see them in more things like yesterday đđđ
Story: I honestly felt like I was just watching chapters of their life playing out, while imaging their past and future. Like seriously, everything was written so well! Kudos to the writers of the book and the show! So beautifully written đť The only very miniscule thing I did not like was how much of the screen time was given to the MeenDo story in the beginning. It was a great story and added a lot of depth, but I just wish Arthit and Dao were more present together that time, since it already felt like 8 eps was so little for them.
Other things: I genuinely love these kinda slow burn stories so I LOVE how much time was given to both of these characters to figure out what they truly feel for the other đ§Ąđ§Ą And finally, the damn art was GORGEOUS in the entire show! So so so pretty đ
Overall: I am so depressed that it has come to an end. Like literally crying in the club right now (as I listen to 'On my shoulder.'

Awesome Concept & Show..... BUT Anticlimactic HE w/Choppy Editing
First time seeing Arthur in anything and I have to say that he did very well with this character. Granted, I have nothing to compare it to, but for now I can say that this was a good character for this actor. I follow Reba and Zhang Li, that's why I put this on my watchlist. Again, I'm going to keep it short and sweet and not my typical review.I really like the concept of the show. It was very different. I especially liked the fact that it primarily had fantasy elements as opposed to that fun genre aka Xianxia that I do not like very much. It did have that feeling in the end, though. I know the novel readers said that it deviated a lot from the book but overall I very much enjoyed it especially the fight scenes and yes, it was slow burn but the novel concept the exchange of the five senses was really cool as well. I like the sub plots, but for the most part, the storyline was solid until we got to the end and that's when choppy editing and a very anti-climactic ending just kind of petered a very promising drama out and dropped my score. I wish the sword that DX carried was used in more than just fighting ringwraith looking evil spirits, and I wish that he was instrumental in bringing down YK who was the show's largest villain by far, but got a half assed ending. I really like Miles Wei and his portrayal as the deranged, bug eyed, obsessed, power-hungry asswipe was spot on. I have to say that every single actor and actress for however long they were on screen did a very good job. I do wish they had fleshed out the story a lot more and exited characters some of them properly instead of just shooting the breeze so to speak. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous and I like that the kid became ghost king. But the way it went from her mourning DX (meanwhile, there's another scene again completely out of nowhere where I am guessing the now deceased DX in his wedding gown is in the middle of some blizzard in the middle of nowhere trying to find her and then is going towards some sun. Zero explanation on that) and then all of a sudden his little jellyfish thingy popped up and then cut straight to naming the new ghost king and her leaving the realm and then the jellyfish thingy following her being DX with her, then walking the streets in the mortal realm being seen by the Lord of fate and her 20th generation nephew saying that he will return cut to the extra episode and we're back in her crying over his body and everything being frozen. Like it was literally all over the place. And the weird thing is the ban on the amount of episodes had been lifted at the point this drama was shot so I do not understand why they couldn't have made two or three extra episodes to properly end that, instead of the hodgepodge of last 5 episodes and then the extra episode as well.
I cannot stand when in an extra episode because the last episode was so all over the place at the end still has three of the six minutes, totally on the same thing that the last episode was on and you don't even see the characters hug when they see each other as mortals at the end. They are literally standing something like 20 feet apart from each other, just staring at each other and that was the ending and then roll credits. I cannot stand when they do that in a drama. Because they had more than enough ample time to at least have them run to each other, hug each other; if they kissed that would've been great, but just hug and hold each other would've made that connection so much more powerful given all the absolute BS they went through in the series. So again, I will say I really really enjoyed the show but those last four episodes or maybe even five, the cop out death of YK after absolutely everything he put everyone through including imprisoning her for five years so she couldn't even see DX while his health was deteriorating and that whole ending was just a complete mess.
ZL and Baron Chen and a bunch of other characters including his war buddies and the kid great characters plus his two double agent friends, one who unfortunately had to off himself because of the power plays in the capital but great characters played very, very well. Wonderful OST's; I love LYN's OST it fit perfectly with them together. Costumes, the CGI was just off the chain gorgeous for a fantasy drama probably one of the first. Thankfully the colors were normal and not Technicolor Dreamcoat and it was just a nice series. Subtract the last five (though they did have good parts to them too).
Would I recommend it? Despite my dissatisfaction with a lot of the last five episodes though there was still some good stuff in there, I would have to say this is a series that one has to watch just because it's so different. And I'm one to love unique stuff and just the topic itself and how it was portrayed was very unique so definitely give it a go.

Talk about an empty vessel making too much noise
Really could not stand this one. This is a perfect example of an empty vessel making too much noise. The ML is this one was downgraded to nothing just to elevate the FL . Only for namesake was he a powerful duke while a mere butcher woman became this super woman đđ¤Łđ¤Ł. This was the most ridiculous plot I have seen so far . The ML was just a tool for romancing the FL. And we are supposed to enjoy this farce. No thank youWas this review helpful to you?
UGH SO GOOD
OMFG so good i cried like a baby in the last ep. Dilraba acting oh my god i have to words. her expressions were on point and every scene with her i was mesmerized by her face and her subtle facial expressions. Arthur chen also complemented raba so well and his acting is on par. I donr have enough words to express my fondness to this show. THIS IS ALSO MY FIRST TIME I FINISHED A NOVEL. THE NOVEL although i would say the show has about 97 percent same I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO SEE THE SCENE WHERE HE SIMU KISSED DUAN XU IN FRONT OF THE DAD AND OTHERS. ugh such pity but IT WAS SO GOOD. although the drama and the novel ended he simu becoming human and duan xu coming back to life I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO SEE HE SIMU STILL THE KING CUZ HE RULED SO HARD AND ATE AND WOULD OF LOVED TO SEE DUAN XU BECOME SOMEONE WHO COULD SHARE SAME LIFE AS HER AND BE ABLE TO STAY WITH HER. but I dont mind the ending they chose because he simu alyaws wanted to become human. 10000000000/10NOT TO MENTION THE OSTS ATE and made every emotional scene more emotional.

Simple and cute
The pacing on this is so slow that I watched this with targeted speeding but the story is humorous and sweet enough to complete. The plot and dialogue are very simple, the action scenes are pretty terrible, and the acting isn't the best - but the interaction between the brothers are quite fun and sweet. It's something you can watch in the background without having to be glued to the screen and something to watch if you need a break from intensity. The romance is over-the-top and silly but I'm quite happy with how it turned out.Was this review helpful to you?

Peak Emotional Damage, 10/10 Would Suffer Again
I absolutely loved Only You from CH3 with LingOrm. This is easily one of my favorite series and honestly one I know Iâm going to think about for a long time. Iâve already rewatched it 4 times, and it still hits just as hard every time. The story completely pulled me in from the beginning. Itâs emotional, engaging, and just really well-paced in a way that makes it easy to stay invested the whole time. Nothing ever felt boring or unnecessaryâevery scene felt like it had purpose, whether it was building the romance, developing the tension, or deepening the emotional weight of the characters.
Ormâs acting is genuinely incredible in this. The amount of times she cries in this series is insane, but what makes it so good is that every single moment feels real. It never feels repetitive or forcedâeach emotional scene hits differently and adds something meaningful to her characterâs journey. She really delivers some of the most impactful emotional performances in the series.
And Ling as the hot bodyguard is absolutely peak casting. Everything about her role just works perfectlyâthe presence, the energy, the protectiveness, and the subtle emotional softness she shows as the story goes on. She has that strong, composed exterior but still manages to make the character feel warm and human underneath it all, which makes her even more compelling to watch.
And together, LingOrm are just incredible. Their chemistry is natural, intense, and really addictive to watch. Every interaction between them feels meaningful, whether itâs something soft and quiet or more emotionally charged. They just fit together in a way that makes the romance feel very believable and satisfying.
Overall, everything about this series just works for meâthe story, the acting, the emotional depth, and especially the main couple. Itâs the kind of show that completely takes over your mind while youâre watching it and then leaves you thinking about it long after. Rewatching it 4 times honestly says everything.
Easily a top-tier favorite for me.

Messy Storytelling, Weak Direction, Wasted Potential
I had genuinely high hopes for Frozen Valentine, especially with new pairings I was excited to see, but this series turned out to be a complete disappointment. From the very first episode, the storytelling is a mess. The plot is all over the place, scenes are either cut so short that nothing has time to breathe or dragged out so long that they become awkward and uncomfortable to sit through. Thereâs no sense of balance. On top of that, the show constantly jumps from one moment to another, skipping important developments entirely, so youâre left confused instead of engaged. At several points, episodes donât even pick up where the last one endedâthey just drop you into random situations like youâre supposed to already understand whatâs going on.
The actors are not the issue here. Natt has shown in previous roles that sheâs capable, and even the newer actors clearly have potential. But the direction completely drags everything down. Performances feel flat and lifeless because of how poorly scenes are handled. Charm, in particular, comes across as incredibly bland, with almost no emotional variation, making it impossible to connect with the character.
As a fan of PairInthira, this was especially frustrating. I was excited to see them, but the show sidelines them along with the other side couples, giving them barely any screen time or meaningful development. It feels like wasted potential across the board.
Honestly, this series is hard to sit through. Between the chaotic pacing, weak direction, and lack of coherent storytelling, it fails to deliver on almost every level. What could have been something great ended up being a confusing and poorly executed mess.

Strong Chemistry, Mediocre Drama, Rushed Side Stories
I was really excited going into I Wanna Be Supâtar because I loved LillyBelle and their chemistry in Harmony Secretâand thankfully, this series did not disappoint.Wannueng and Winâs dynamic is easily the highlight. Their chemistry feels natural, and the rom-com tone suits them really well. It might come off as a bit corny to some people, but I personally really enjoyed itâespecially watching Win slowly fall in love over time. I also really liked the musicâit added a lot to the overall vibe of the show.
That said, the side characters felt more odd than anything else. Meedee seemed strangely attached, but weâre never really given enough background to understand her history with Wannueng, so it just feels confusing. May, on the other hand, comes off as straight-up toxic and honestly goes to extreme lengths just to get with Winâit ends up feeling over the top. I do like FayGene as a pairing and think theyâre cute, but their storyline felt rushedâthey go from being heartbroken in the same room to suddenly hooking up, which made the progression feel unearned.
The drama itself also felt very mediocre at times, with conflicts that were pretty avoidable, which made parts of the story frustrating to sit through.
One thing that really stood out in a negative way was the inclusion of a few non-consensual scenes, which was pretty concerning. I do appreciate that the production listened to feedback and removed one of the scenes, but that kind of issue shouldnât have been there in the first place.
Overall, despite its flaws, I enjoyed the series for what it was. Itâs fun and entertaining on a first watch, but not something Iâd personally go back and rewatch. Still, the strong chemistry and rom-com vibe carry it enough for me to give it a solid 7.5/10.

A Girlboss Bold and a Prince of Gold, Two Trapped Souls, One Story Told!
â ď¸ SPOILER WARNING: Major spoilers ahead for the first two episodes. Proceed with caution if you haven't watched yet.Iâve just finished the first two episodes of "The Perfect Crown" and Iâm already hooked! If youâre a fan of that "Modern Monarchy" vibeâthink Princess Hours or The King: Eternal Monarchâthis is definitely the one to watch for 2026.
IU is absolutely killing it as Seong Hui-ju. Sheâs giving me major Son Ye-jin/Yoon Se-ri (Crash Landing on You) vibesâa total girlboss, bold, and definitely not a pushoverđ¤Ł! As the CEO of "Castle Beauty," sheâs wealthy and powerful, but she carries that heavy stigma of being born out of wedlock.
Then we have Byeon Woo-seok as Prince I-an. Can we talk about his visuals? He has the perfect "prince face." BWS always disappears into his roles, and here he perfectly captures that trapped, regal energy. The chemistry is already solid, and since itâs only the first week, Iâm totally fine with the slow-burn pace.
Two Trapped Souls
What I love most so far the initial episodes , already showcased the similarity of their situations--- they are mirrors of each other. Both are living in the shadows. Hui-ju wants a noble, dignified marriage to step out of her brotherâs shadow and finally be "honored" by a family that treats her like a secret. Meanwhile, I-an is suffocated by his duties as regent to his nephew. Heâs tired of the constant publicity and the "2nd rank" lifeâhe just wants to get lost and be free.
Itâs a cold-blooded business deal, she wants his title for legitimacy, and in return, my impression he will uses her to rattle the palaceâs rigid reputation. Marrying a wealthy heiress and yet with a "scandalous" background is his way of irritating the monarchy.
The Queen or Sister-in-Law "randomly" visited the ML while he was sick? The tension was definitely there! It feels like to me like she might harbor some hidden feelings (or a need for power) that go way beyond family ties. Seeing him, his top half-dressed definitely seemed to rattle her "regal" composure!
What about the FL's " Oppa" best friend. There is no way his feelings are just platonic. Heâs the classic "protective pillar," but you can see it in his eyesâhe loves her. Heâs likely stayed in the "friend zone" to avoid losing her, and watching her marry a Prince is going to absolutely break him. đ
Overall Perspective (Eps 1-2)
To me, The Perfect Crown based in the first 2 episodes is "all glitter, but the gold is still being refined" as it just only started . The story is captivating with the aesthetic and seems like a high production , the FL's character's " Girlboss Energy" and the ML's cold but a
" lonely boy"look which seems like carrying so much emotional pain but also has such charming prince aesthetic âI am fully invested. Letâs see how this marriage of convenience turns into real chaos... and maybe, eventually, a real love story. đĽ

This was just amazingly beautiful
I loved the first ep, it made me tear up when they met .. the ending was just so sad, I cried for 5 days with this and moreso thru the whole story but the end was just so sad and beautiful... And make sure to watch the "together forever" 7 min special. It's a happy ending, I still cried with that one too. But I'm so happy they followed the novel it was so beautiful and I give this a 10. All the characters were great, even the jerk Yan Ke, he was even an awesome villain.I'm very, very pleased with this and I love both lead actors and I have gained new ones that I now love and hope to see them more in. It's funny and romantic, heartbreaking to where your chest will hurt but you most definitely get a happy ending. It followed the novel so well. Please always give dramas a chance, you'll be surprised how much emotion you'll feel and I haven't ever been a huge fan of the FL, I def like her in some dramas and this one, she has made me appreciate her so much more. This is wonderful, thank you to the cast, the director, screenwriter and producer and production staff .. y'all ALL served this drama to the max.
Such a BEAUTIFUL story. I haven't cried so much in a good min and got a happy ending that made me cry. WELL DONE, 10/10 â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
Keep up the amazing work! And always, can't wait for Arthur to have a new drama. I've always loved him. And to the new actors / some I'm familiar with, keep it up and hope to see y'all again in the screen!
Always remember how much you guys touched the audiences heart here. Great work! â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
