How is this good?
Had to make an account after finishing this, what a horrible portrayal of a relationship. Selfish, stupid, overdramatic woman lead who cries about every single inconvenience, and a man who prioritizes his own comfort, justified his lies under "caring", and then keep convincing himself that it's the right thing to do. And somehow people are swooning over this just from the cinematography tricks. Toxic couple surrounded by great other stories. Trash drama that's only good if you ignore the main couple. Was this review helpful to you?
A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You

Very heart-fluttering and cute love story.
Such innocent love from both of these two shy individuals who never had experience when it comes to romance/love. They are so cute and watching this was heart-warming, seeing each of them open and become somehow comfortable with each other. ML is so handsome and FL is so cute. Their awkwardness is pretty understandable given they are both inexperienced interacting with the opposite gender and they haven't spend much time together as couples because of ML's work.I can't wait for season 2 where they become very comfortable and less formal with each other already.

Trash Tier Drama, the FL is sooooooooooooo draining on how stupid she is.
Four couples, 3 earned happy endings. It would have been better if the manipulative ML dies at the end, and the bland stupid fragile FL went on her own healing journey. Imagine being 32, great career, loving family, and still stupid and bland enough to require a boy to help your healing. What a garbage drama. Wouldn't have finished this if not for the rest of the characters.

A Strong Female and A Loving Male Lead
I did not expect this drama to be this good. Chu Yu (played by Victoria Song) was magnificent. She was a strong female lead that would not let anyone or anything define her. She was a protector of the country and of 2 families, the Wei family and the Chu family. Her martial arts performances were so strong. When she made up her mind to have a relationship with the youngest brother of the Wei family, Wei Yun (played by Ryan Ding). After a long period of time Chu Yu started giving her all to be with Wei Yun. You had to love her in this drama, Fight For Love.Ryan Ding was Ryan Ding, charming, shy and a great fighter. When he decided to love the female lead, he gave it his all. During the last war with the enemy country, Wei Yun killed the enemy's emperor, helped Chu Yu's brother and rescued Chu Yu. He was everywhere. He was named his country's God of War; he did not like the new title, because he knew that it would tap him and others would try to exploit him.
After fighting for so long to be together, Chu Yu and Wei Yun could see the light at the end of the tunnel. They would be together one day. At the end of the drama, Wei Yun was forced to guard the border for three years. Wei Yun and Chu Yu were apart for all three years. When Wei Yun arrived back outside the gates of the capital, Chu Yu put on a spectacular martial arts display for him, then she asked Wei Yun if he would marry her. He finally said "I will".

One of the best series currently
I’m so in love with this series right now, I’ve been waiting FOREVER, and now that it’s finally here it definitely lives up to expectations. The acting is amazing and JJ is doing a fantastic job, I’m laughing until my stomach hurts every episode. The visuals look amazing and the story definitely is going to be amazing! I can’t wait! Was this review helpful to you?
A way to brighten up your day whilst your mind race with endless possibilities
This series has everything! The crew and cast understood are expectations and absolutely delivered. Everything felt natural from the acting to the settings. I was immersed from the very beginning and that says a lot because I usually drop a series on the first episode if it gets boring. This goes to show just how hard work gets acknowledged in the end. NETJJ, even though it's your first time as main leads, your acting gave me goosebumps. Chemistry is natural and Netjj is the perfect example of that. Was this review helpful to you?
Every scene could be a postcard
This is the kind of movie that tends to divide audiences;you either love it or you don't. It was done specifically for a very unique niche of viewers who appreciate its distinctiveness. One of the aspects I adore is the prominent emphasis on the color blue; this hue is woven throughout the cinematography and deeply influences the emotions of the characters. The film is not only cinematic and visually stunning, but every single frame feels so meticulously put together that it could easily serve as a postcard. That’s how breathtakingly beautiful it appeared to me.Describing this film is quite challenging; it goes beyond words and becomes more of an emotional experience. The music played an integral role in capturing the essence of the story. It's no surprise that the film’s soundtrack was created by Yaffle, a talented music producer renowned for his work with Kaze Fujii and various other artists.
While the film is not loud in its presentation, it possesses a freshness that makes it feel dreamlike;a quality that wrapped me as I watched. I found myself thoroughly enjoying every moment of it. I believe this is a film you must experience firsthand to determine whether it resonates with you. The story is undeniably particular, and the visuals serve as a feast for the eyes, leaving a lasting impression that lingers well beyond the closing credits.

Nice Idea with poor execution
Love beyond the Grave is a drama that you want to stay in the grave. The story is about cougar Goddess who tries to have fun in the mortal world and gets attracted to a young lad who is following her like slutpuppy everywhere. This was at least what I saw until ep 20, i can't endure more even though Dilraba is amazing actress and stunningly beautiful. The plot was developing in such a slow paste I was forcing my eyes open at some scenes. What I see in last year and in 2026 is that these 40 episode dramas are unnecessary stretched and the side plots and characters are just boring filler material. Was this review helpful to you?
A little wonky but I keep going back
This is a great little series. There's something about the love between the mains that sat exactly right for me. Its not often that you get a series involving mental illness, especially where it gets this treatment. No tear farming with tragedy, but also no sugar coating. No big reveal or magical cure all. Just people living their lives. I dont feel bad for the character struggling with mental health issues, but I see him clearly as well. I really like him. And I like his partner.I agree with others that I could have used a lot more episodes. I wanted more about the mains. I wanted a LOT more about the second couple. That was disappointing but not devastating to my enjoyment of the show.
Also, the timeline was a little choppy. I wasn't disoriented, but it didn’t seem necessary or artistically helpful to do it that way. Just show their chronology with necessary flashbacks. That's it.
But overall I really liked these characters. I liked their imperfect love story. I liked watching the care they showed each other. And I liked that they were grown-ass men! I liked the theme song.
It's a short series, but even if it were much longer it would be worth your time.

MASTERPIECE:A league of its own!!
UPDATED REVIEW after completion, no spoilers :)I started this with low expectations, I've watched LOTS of wuxia so far but this one takes you by surprise in how it tells a story! It took me a while to adjust to the way this cdrama unfolds its mystery, i thought it was just beautiful scenes concatenated randomly together but oh no....
diving into this world is a big jump but oh so worth it!
This show pushes you to accept the world veil of shadows as a standalone one of a kind. dialogue is often concise, short but so effective. the main cast and production WOW!!!
-CINEMA: how come every scene is a visual statement? I feel i am watching a live manga/anime. the wind, light, angles, action, costumes... so satisfying! I never saw a live actors drama with so many attention and dramatic effects for every scene. too much? NAH!! its such a vibe!! and until the very end. a lot of scenes have become iconic for me!
-ACTION &DRAMA balance, lots of actions while keeping the story going is tough mastery!! the episodes are very well paced and separated! choreography amazing till the end!
- STORY is genuinely AMAZING!! although some tropes here and there, it's super well done. Until the end, the story is tight and super creative! sometimes it takes a while to understand but the show always clarifies the mystery later. Always keeps us guessing!! genius complex and nuanced story.
-MANY MAIN ACTORS: It's so hard to give so much attention to many actors/characters at the same time, but waw! this show does it brilliantly! the main cast have a great evolution and each of them have purpose! all of them shined here and had the chance to play even different roles. the only character that i think could have had more to give was wu shqwan. he did have his moments but sometimes his character's presence was taken dor granted !! all 4 main actors + yuan were a great cast and carried the story amazignly!!
-MUSIC : oh man the music is so energetic and perfectly added throughout! also very diverse collection!
-CGI: sometimes with wuxia you have to turn a blind eye to cgi... but this one is spotless! the effects are really seamless and super creative.
-ARCS & PROGRESSION: the story is tight!! 29 episodes was a great number and the story did not loose the plot, on the contrary, it flowed beautifully till the end, connecting the arcs together!
hard to believe this is not based on a novel!

A Heartfelt Journey of Healing, Love, and Hidden Stories.
I’ve just finished watching In Your Radiant Season, and I honestly didn’t expect it to affect me this deeply. It was more than worth it it’s a must watch. This drama is not just a story, it’s an emotional journey about healing, pain, and finding light even in your darkest moments. From the start, there’s this quiet sadness that follows the characters, and as the story unfolds, you begin to understand why. The way the drama explores trauma, loss, and emotional scars feels incredibly real. Nothing feels forced everything develops slowly, making every moment hit even harder.
What makes this drama stand out the most is that it doesn’t only focus on the main characters. The supporting characters are just as important, and their stories are just as powerful. Each of them is dealing with something heavy, and seeing how their lives connect and influence each other adds so much depth to the story.
And honestly… the men in this drama are all green flags. They are supportive, emotionally mature, and genuinely care about the people around them. Instead of toxic behavior, you see understanding, patience, and growth which makes the relationships feel even more comforting and healthy to watch.
One of the most heartbreaking moments for me was when it became clear how deeply the past had shaped the main characters’ present. The emotional distance between them wasn’t just random it was built on pain, misunderstandings, and things left unsaid for far too long.
And the turning point, when they finally confront their feelings and everything they’ve been avoiding, felt so intense and real. It wasn’t a perfect, fairy-tale confession it was messy, emotional, and raw. That’s what made it so powerful.
Even the side characters had moments that completely broke me. One storyline about letting go and accepting loss was especially unforgettable it showed that healing doesn’t mean forgetting, but learning how to live with the pain.
What I loved the most is how realistic everything felt. Not every problem is magically solved, and not every character gets a perfect ending but that’s what makes it so meaningful. The drama shows that healing is a process, not a destination.
In the end, In Your Radiant Season is a story that stays with you. It makes you reflect on your own emotions, your own relationships, and the people who helped you through difficult times.
It broke me, but in a way… it also helped me heal.

A very dramatic show that focuses on its characters
If you're looking for a very dramatic show that might make you cry every other episode then this is for you. Great cinematography and great music, what is more great is that it is shove up to your ear every other second LMAOThe show doesn't only explore romance but also friendship and familial love, I noticed that the show focuses more to it's characters. To Pei sijing with her brother, the useless goddess, Zhu yan's backstory, zhou yichen's hatred for demons and how they made him understand it, Bai jiu and jing lei, even the villain Li Lun. For me, I truly enjoyed watching the show digging up each character's story. It's very refreshing for me to see that each characters interacts with each other.
I enjoyed every tragic story of side characters, the water ghost and especially fei and qing geng's (I am not moving on from that).
If other shows tells you that fate can be altered, then this show says otherwise. A tragic show yet so beautiful.
Let's all act that the ending didn't happen, but still I'm kinda satisfied that they stick to killing Zhu Yan.

MASTERPIECE
I filled two buckets of tears. The story. The plot. The twist. The characters. The acting. I can’t explain the feeling. I thought it would be another BL drama but it was more than this. I find new dramas to watch and say oh this is the best drama ever, I’m going to rewatch it again. No! This drama will keep replying in my head forever and ever.
I stayed up all night watching it. I wish it showed up on my for you page forever ago.
