Another Sageuk Soul Swapping
When I said this another Sageuk soul swapping, am referring to many others that has same theme - like Mr. Queen and Moon River. Another common theme is the manipulation of the king by someone he trusted and is greedy for power. But makes this drama interesting? - perhaps the transformations of several characters in this drama as:
1. The mad king in the end listened and stepped down. It was a long journey. I should say, Ha Seok Jin played it well.
2. Eun Jo - was a petty thief helping out the poor but later on helping the grand prince to bring peace.
3. Yeol - just a prince who tried not to get in the way of the king to save himself. In a way, his transformation came when he met Eun Jo.
4. Jae In -crossing path with Eun Jo made him reflect his own lowlife yet chose to do what is right though going against his father's ways. I think he has the most transformation from being an antagonist to someone who chose to protect a woman whom he knows has her heart set on someone else.
There are very good dialogs in this drama showing how much the people can reflect on with regards to power, responsibility, equity, justice and love.
Good thing there are not much soul swapping happening as in Moon River. And both leads' characters do not have a stark difference yet recognizable when they switch.
I love the allies of the grand prince. They don't blindly follow, and perhaps they were like that because the grand prince isn't using his power to manipulate or control people. I love that Eun Jo has a lot of people sympathetic to her because they had received so much from her.
The near-death experiences kept us hooked to watch the next episode. And I am glad the main leads lived.

Its cute
Cute coming of age story about a guy in love with his best friend and said oblivious best friend. This show appears as a rec for beginners in a lot of bl circles online, but I think its slightly over rated. Still good tho, I just think there are other shows that do the secret crush and pining thing better. Was this review helpful to you?
Just plain
Plot is good so had high expectations , but the interactions continue to be like friends and roomates than lovers , it was like friends were forced into relationship, there's no development but randomly confessing out of nowhere ? they're good as friends,as lover the story doesn't seem interesting I don't care if they're couple or not and even after they did I still don't care ? there's literally no signs of liking eachother? i watched until the random confession with 0 development and the story suddenly moves to crime and more side characters after 9,10 epswhat I don't like
0 chemistry between ml fl more like roommate, friends than lover
creepy 2nd ml , boring 2nd couple
why chinese drama don't use any lip colour for men ? the ml is normal but the other guy in black looks like ghost and sick, colourless lips I have seen in so many CDRAMA? are they hiding the real colour or thats real colour?
there's nothing annoying in this story could've been better it feels plain and boring later,I don't feel happy or excited for couple obviously when romance is forced

Mostly wholesome but a bit tonally confused
A college student takes an internship at a gaming company, and it turns out his new boss is a fan of his ASMR youtube channel. Its a cute love story, but by the end the back and forth on "oh no i cant date the ceo i'm a lowly intern" gets a bit frustrating given the state of their relationship, but its mostly forgivable. Also it gets very dark midway through with subplot of one of the characters childhood love, who *SPOILERS AND TRIGGER WARNINGS!!!!!* commits suicide after being raped by her stepfather and getting pregnant. Its a plotline that feels out of place. Was this review helpful to you?

Episode 4 Review
Sent is beginning to love Gaysorn not as a source of fragrance, but as a person he wants to protect.EP.4 revealed the tragic past behind the perfume company, while jealousy and human cruelty slowly invade Gaysorn’s innocent world.
One31 dramas often revolve around karma, and this story feels like “the sins of the father are visited upon the children.”
The love between Sent and Gaysorn is becoming deeply tied to the dark history of their parents’ generation.

Exhilarating Ride to the End
A distraught man walks into a police station claiming he had killed a man while yelling at a CCTV camera. Jo Sooji, a single mom detective is adamant on investigating the case despite subtle threats by Jang Do Han from Seoul Prosecutor's office, until she is left devastated when her daughter fell off a building while under Sooji’s mom's watch. Further investigation shows Yu Na went into the building with a high school student who was volunteering at Yu Na's school, who turned out to be Seoul Chief Prosecutor's only son, Yoon Shiwan. Yu Na died due to complication of multiple injuries a few days later and both cases are eventually hushed. Jo Sooji goes on a rampage, holding Yoon Shiwan at gunpoint intending to kill him as the law would not hold him responsible for Yu Na's death. She iss subdued but is let loose by mysterious person during police transit. Since then, she works with Seo Bomi and Gong Kyungso and a leader none of them ever knew, to crack down past cases revolving around Chief Prosecutor, Yoon Seongro.Man oh man, the pace of this one is too fast that I could not put down my phone even when I go to the bathroom. I finished all 32 episodes in under 2 days! Lee Siyoung has always been one of my favourite Korean actress, and of course she works wonders on this. Jo Sooji went from being a loving mom and dedicated police officer who believe in the law to a notorious fugitive who kept doing the police's work for them while breaking the law here and there, apprehending and handing out suspects that would blow up past cold cases that Yoon Seongro had been trying really hard to bury. Lee Siyoung’s action sequences have always been superb, and watching behind the scenes clips where the actress does the stunt herself is even more fullfilling.
I really liked Kim Yongkwang's Jang Do Han. He was great at pissing people (and me) off with his outlandishly peculiar antics, then managed to get me angry at his manipulating schemes, and then had me feel sorry for him for the lengths that he had to go to in order to achieve his goal. A very awkward and complicated character whose wavelength cannot be anticipated at all. You won't know whether he would go rogue or do that good deed expected of protagonist characters, cuz he is that grey character with questionable conscience.
And Lomon who played Yoon Shiwan was damn awesome. I thought he looked familiar AF, and while I was writing this that I found he was the main character of Revenge of Others! He rocks there too, I've wanted to watch his other works since I saw Revenge of Others last year, but I didnt notice The Guardians. Although he played the antagonist here, I truly enjoyed it as he played the twisted psychopathic young man really well. I am going to watch out for his other works later.
All in all I love this show. It has an open ending like they were going to do season 2, but somehow they never did. Too bad for that. Action lovers, go for this! Romance lovers should steer clear cuz there is no romance whatsoever between the main leads, exactly the way I like it.

Beautifully dynamic series
Beautiful series. Sad moments, happy moments, conflict and conflict resolution. This show has all the feels and I’m so here for it. Duang learned how to be more emotionally mature and regulate his emotions and think more rationally from Qin not letting his emotions take over and make irrational decisions. While Qin learned how to have more emotional intelligence he learned to be more in touch with his feelings from Duang and how to lean on and put his trust in someone else and let people help him.Was this review helpful to you?

Hated Mi Yue At The End
I started out really liking this series, the tale of Mi Yue I found very interesting. An avid history lover, this was right up my alley. From Mi Yue’s childhood to adulthood, the story of her two sisters, the men she loved, it was worth the watch.
Costumes and hairstyles very good. All went well until I read the ending.
Mi Yue was a favourite concubine of King Ying Si and gave birth to his son whom he named Ying Ji. He was ten years old when his father died.
Finding out she planned, and killed the man who loved her wholeheartedly and devotedly, who saved her life and the life of her son, Ying Ji, many times, the man she later married, Zhái Li, who himself was a King, the King of the Grasslands, and with whom she had a son, and how she watched him get murdered, just broke my heart, even th8nking on it brings me to tears for he did so much for her, yet in the end, she had him killed like a wild beast.
This made me so angry, and sad, I am unable to watch the last four episodes. Reading about Zhái Li’s death was bad enough, but watching it I just cannot do.
So yes, I give this the thumbs down because of this.

Masterpiece!!
It is the best thriller kdrama ever what I loved the most is the main fl characterHighly recommended for those who loves school, thriller, revenge, mafia type kdramas..
High school students on a retreat are forced to play a deadly game of Mafia, leading to intense in-fighting and brutal scenes.
It's thrilling to see who's telling the truth and who manipulate the others.
The good point is the mafia was revealed one by one.
Waiting for season 2..

We all make bad decisions.
Let me get this out of the way. I haven't seen Princess Agents. I tried several times and I just can't get past the first episode. So I can't address any concerns people may have commented on about Rebirth compared to PA.So here's my take on Rebirth:
R's 1st episode is choppy but the thing is, cdrama is more like comfort food to me. I watch it for escapism and just for a comparison, I was a bit turned off by the beginning of Nirvana in Fire, because the first moments of NIF seemed like a cringy, low budget production, but oh, did it get way, way, waaaaay better, becoming one of my favorite dramas of all time. Rebirth is actually not that different. Like I said, choppy start and a bit of weird acting. Like her weird jump. I guess it's hard to do too many takes of jumping into ice water. But she's really got some acting chops. I get that people are turned off because of the age dynamics, but if you just give her a chance, she really shines and becomes believable as a leader. And I think it's because of the FL's age that the romance is toned down—it's there, but not like it is in other dramas and that works for me, cuz the story is really more about survival and power.
Yes, there are some winding, twisting paths that the characters take, sometimes that don't seem to make any sense, but I don't mind it because that makes it different from all the other cookie-cutter, go-by-the-numbers storylines that so many cdramas obediently follows (yes, tried and true works but it's ok to get off track sometimes). I would end up thinking, are they going to say, I was just pretending, but now I'm back on track and do what's normally done or are they just going to continue to do the unconventional, maybe even wrong path (or is it really wrong?) and how's that going to play out?
Everybody makes mistakes. Everybody. Sometimes they're small errors in judgment; sometimes they're colossally huge, mind boggling mistakes. That's what you see in R. But that happens in real life too. Nobody ever knows what's going to happen on the road of life. So maybe the scriptwriters lost their way. Or maybe it was intentional. I don't care. This is as good a comfort food for the mind and soul for me as any. And a large part of it is from the acting, and not just from the leads, but the side characters as well.
So so far, so good. Let's see what happens at the end of it all.

Kdrama does thriller good but jdrama romance will pull your heartstrings!!
I went in completely blank, just the premise of chocolates and mental illness, but the sweetness of characters were over powering the chocolates and i didn't mind. I do love a goood romance drama and i feel like it had it all. the unnecessary crush on the seacond lead while total chill with main lead, social dynamics, therapy, and what not. And by ep 2, i was like i have seen this fl and i came to mydramalist and found her she is k actress and that to from MOVING, and i was happier. Overall it was enjoyable slice of life kind of drama for me and i would rate it 10, because i did not skip a single moment and thats a big deal for me.Was this review helpful to you?
Short and Sweet pt.2
If Season 1 charmed you with its workplace sweetness, Season 2 arrives as a cheerful change of scenery — swapping office cubicles for university campuses. It brings Lee Ji-eun's university life to the forefront, exploring the worries and love stories of college students as she makes important decisions about her feelings, dreams, and life. The same breezy, low-pressure vibe carries over, making it just as easy and enjoyable to watch. The small tips at the end of each episode — a unique and charming touch. The greater focus on side characters was one of the most refreshing upgrades. Their storylines added warmth and variety that kept things lively beyond just the main couple.
