Zhan You Qiang Wei (2025), aka Possession of Rose (2025), is a very nice romance drama with ML: Chen Ming Hao (as Shen Jing Si) and FL: Cao Sai Ya (as Jiang Ye) in the leading couple's drama. The cast did a quaint job bringing their characters to life, and the leading couple had fantastic, playful, and fervent intimate chemistry; their communication is honest and straight to the point. The drama had some moments in which the male lead protected the female lead, but it was not because she was a damsel in distress but because the situations were beyond her abilities to handle; even so, she would not go down without a fight! Both male and female lead were strong and decisive characters, perfect for each other. Overall, this is a well-done drama that offers a rational development and two impassioned leads; enjoy it!
In the meantime, you can watch the drama on YouTube: "ENGSUB| Used by Her CEO Ex, She Leaves—His Brother Dotes on Her While the Ex Begs in Regret" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktCjqx__Zx8)

A PERFECT 10

This will be my first time review ever since I registered account with MDL because I'm normally too lazy to type anything longer than 10 sentences, but I must type this review for this vertical drama.

I'm a huge fan of Huang Hao Wen, so I basically will watched anything with him in.

This fantasy drama with 100% comedy that make me giggles and laughing so much the whole time watching this and keep on repeating each and every funny moments/scenes (especially when the whole family are together and Huang Hao Wen various face expression when he heard his wife naughty and sometimes dirty taught).

100% Recommended!!!

Edit: Shi Xue Jing as female lead also awesome in this. She really perfect for this comedic role. I had watched her a lot in other vertical dramas and for me, she suited best for comedic role.

Unforgettable Chemistry, Gentle Heart & Beautiful Philosophy

I absolutely love how this series tells a profound life philosophy through its story—it touched me so deeply. I fell in love with every single character; everything has its reasons and logic. The plot is incredibly heavy and intense, yet it's told in such an entertaining, smooth, and heartwarming way. The attention to detail is meticulous and refined. The chemistry between the leads is fantastic. The ending feels completely satisfying and makes perfect sense. In the end, everything must follow the laws of nature—whether it comes slowly or quickly, it aligns with the real truths of the world. 10/10. Easily one of my all-time favorite dramas.

Sometimes the enemy is close to you and you don't realize it until it's too late.

I liked the story and everything else, but the ending disappointed me; it was very superficial. Even the story was better than the ending. I also wished that 'Zichi' had met his parents, if his plan to win his mother back succeeded, that would have been wonderful—a reunion after such a long separation. As in the last episode, I was hoping to see what would happen to the world of the novel, not just "Let's get out of the novel and live another life."It's not entirely fair but it was great to watc

It was such a great one at first . Bored of waiting man , I had higher hopes, to be honest.

I expected more, but it was pretty one-note.
It was a total let-down.
At first it was just hatee that yu lie had for ke ke , he always hated the fact that his own sister admired chen ke a lot . I just can't believe that particular hate converted into love .
It's another serie that I'm watching rn , and Ik it's so much good cuz I watched it idk if people are actually liking it but about me I love this . Recently China is getting the title of a country for all great bls , I just can't believe from China's side these kind of impressive bls are coming up , day by day China's bls are getting fabulous ,
they all have great storylines with impressive and handsome cast better picture quality with great vfx .
I just don't know why people are not talking about it .
It's a great bl according to me , and I believe most of the people will like it if they try itt .
About the story :
Yu Lei used to be very jealous of chen ke's great performance in studies and stuff , idk why he hated ke ke for being so good to him .
They started talking slowly and yu lei actually understood that ke ke has the opposite personality from what he used to think . They got so much close and I could say that they kind of felt something for eachother , I could see the sight of jealously in ke ke's eyes when he saw ouyang clinging arround yu lie , but he tried his best to avoid that feeling cuz they were just friends according to yu lie , I don't know what the logic behind yu lie saying friends kiss each other to show intimacy .
I knew it's just yu lei would was avoiding his extreme feelings for che ke . He's so jealous when his sister spends time with ke ke , but he just didn't realise that it was jealousy . He was so in love with ke ke that he wanted to meet him after the break so much , wanted to talk to him more and more waiting for his call during the break .
Look at how worried he was when ke ke burned his leg , he even skipped baseball game to just celebrate ke's birthday , the main thing is he didn't like the fact that his sister was already there to celebrate ke's birthday .

I feel butterflies throughout my whole body just by the way they looked at each other , I could see from Mars that lei lei adores and admires chen ke a lot . He was admiring chen ke while playing the piano omgg he looked a boy admiring his first love .

I didn't like it when chen ke started to feel like he's the third wheel because of that ouyang .

In ep 5 yu lei cleared that he didn't like ouyang , I hope he stops meddling between my cuties , honestly i quite like the pair of ouyang and li ming .
I want my cuties to figure out their feelings and clear out all the misunderstandings .

It's a very good bl , so I want to recommend this drama → those who are looking for something like this ( as I mentioned above ) , please try to watch it you will love it for suree .

DISAPPOINTING .
Yeah , till now I actually felt like its so good but ep 7 disappointed me a lot ,
Don't you think they just took a lot of time to confess , idk what's wrong with them , why is it so hard for them to say a simple “ I like you ” both have been struggling with their feelings , whenever they tried something just came up every time . I wanted them to focus more on each other but how can Chen ke even suddenly say that he's leaving for abroad studies just like yu lei 's cousin , leaving him all alone , at the end he decided to let go all his feelings and his first love just to improve his academic performance but what about yu lei huhh .

Whatever atleast Yu lei showed how he felt at the end . Why this Chen ke is so cold , ik it hurt but he can't just leave like that .

The next episode , I hope it's better but from the teaser i don't think so , another problem is coming up , why the script is this much lengthy , y the leads can't stay happy just for a while .

There were go another problem .
Mannn , why can't they just have a simple time together , it's boring to wait , when are they going to confess , they're just so tight liped , literally it's the last episode and now they're confessing .
I don't think it was worth waiting for it at this point.
Honestly the last episode itself is not that impressive ,
I think the relationship between the second couple is far better than the main one , they're so clueless , in which era are they even living in , they literally didn't know how they felt which is dumb , cuz anybody can tell .

Not that good
Not worth waiting
Boring
Everytime unlucky

The Perfect In-Between Drama

I thought this was a cute, quick watch. It was light enough to enjoy while coming down from a heavy drama, but still developed and engaging enough to hold my attention. I usually have a hard time investing in something new right after an intense series, so mini-dramas have been my go-to in-between watches. Even so, I really enjoyed this storyline on its own.

Now I understand why many people are saying they dropped this series...

Because this series isn't like a typical BL series, it's really different. We rarely see BL series like this! Usually, BL series are just full of fluff, with a little bit of drama and nc scenes, that's all —no good plot! But this one is totally different. As someone who doesn’t only want the same boring fluff and nc scenes but also a strong plot, this series was exactly my type! It’s full of intense angst, drama, and a mind-blowing plot.
I think they put the confusing timeline on purpose because watching every episode felt like riding a rollercoaster. I really want to praise both actors, especially the one who played Kelvin, he totally nailed it! That psychopathic look from episode 2 is still giving me chills down my spine 🔥
If you're looking for a BL series with a good story, then go ahead and watch it!

I can’t speak high enough of the young girl who played the FL. Incredible!

Yang Enyou is a Revelation. It would be an absolute travesty if Yang Enyou (who plays the young orphan, Zhang Xiaoyu) does not become a global megastar after this. Her performance is truly, unbelievably brilliant. In a genre often dominated by stoic fighters, she brings a raw, visceral vulnerability that anchors the entire film. You don’t just watch her pain and anger, you feel it in every single frame she occupies. She goes toe-to-toe with martial arts veteran Xie Miao and in many scenes, completely steals the spotlight. Her ability to convey that level of soul-crushing grief and white-hot rage at such a young age is nothing short of a masterclass in acting.
The only reason this isn’t a perfect 10 is that it is occasionally very difficult to stomach. Even for a gritty revenge thriller, the level of violence directed at a child is extreme. Seeing a young girl get gang-beaten, kicked, strangled and even poisoned is incredibly heavy and may be too much for some viewers. While it successfully fuels the fire for the eventual revenge, those specific scenes are undeniably brutal.
The sequel manages to surpass the original by adding a profound emotional core. Watch it for the top-tier action, but stay for the legendary performance by Yang Enyou. If this is the start of her career, the sky is the limit.

No mercy given

The absolute standout of this film is the subversion of the tired mercy trope. Usually, in C-Dramas, villains who commit unspeakable atrocities get away with a slap on the wrist or a moral lecture. Not here. When the villain—a man guilty of murder, torture, and rape—has the audacity to beg for his life, the ML gives the most satisfying response imaginable. Instead of taking the high road, he promises a brutal, visceral end (breaking limbs and worse) before finishing the job. It is refreshing to see a hero actually deliver the level of justice the crimes deserve.
At just over 60 minutes, the film feels a bit too short. The world-building and action are so tight that you’re left wishing there was more time to sit with the characters.
The inciting incident involving the leading woman is incredibly heavy. The combination of her being brutally assaulted while her family is massacred was a bit too excessive and too much for my personal taste, even for a revenge thriller.
Overall, if you’re tired of holy protagonists who forgive everyone, watch this for the ML's uncompromising brand of justice. It’s a lean, mean action flick that doesn't pull its punches.

İlk bölümdeki sıfır əyləncə və 2ci bölümdeki o mükəmməl açılış

Sold Out On You" dizisinin ilk iki bölümünü izlədikdən sonra fikirlərim tamamilə dəyişdi. Dürüst olmaq lazımdırsa, birinci bölümü bəyənməmişdim. Baş roldakı Chae Won Bin mənə çox donuq gəldi, xarakterini tam hiss edə bilmədim və bu da izləmə həvəsimi bir az azaltdı. Aktrisanın performansı sanki hekayə ilə tam uyuşmurdu.
Ancaq ikinci bölüm hər şeyi dəyişdi! Bu bölümdə həm hekayə, həm də Chae Won Bin-in performansı çox əyləncəli idi. Qızın enerjisi artdı və xarakterinə tam isindim. Serialın əsl ritmi məhz bu bölümdən sonra tutuldu.
Kişi aktyorlara gəldikdə isə, Ahn Hyo Seop və Kim Bum həmişəki kimi mükəmməldirlər.

I can't believe, They're soo inlove. My pookies I'm going to miss them. No worries We are getting S2

{ Detailed Review }
This bl is insane , I love each and every part .
They had intense chemistry , but the relationship just started and clashed Idk how long we needa wait and chu san too .
But I'm sure liu yi will come back .
the first episode was quite classic , and my expectations were not so high for itt , but I didn't bailed just after the first ep , cuz uk I didn't wanted to regret later .
And I'm glad I continued watching it otherwise I would have missed another actual art work .
It started getting more and more interesting . I slowly understood it's an enimes-to-lovers trope and it engaged mee so much , the more I watched , the more I got fascinated.
I loved the way they stared at each other instead of ignoring eye contacts , He chu san and xiu li got very close , I could tell from the beginning that san was the one who will fall first and I knew ittt with that much care liu yi will fall hadder .

Focusing on episodes :
I can literally tell from their reactions that they do have feelings for each other but trying to hide them
ohh I remember that part were chu san was literally staring at his butt heheee , how can forget that part .
In the further episodes I gotta see liu's possessive side , I love to see him getting overprotective of chu san , like not letting others touch things given by san and say anything bad about him .
Well , He chu san is getting more crazy bout liu that he literally dreamt about them uhmmmm . Look at how shy he was the next morning while washing the bedsheet 🫣 , when he saw xiu he actually avoided eye contact that part was extremely adorable .
Look at He chu san teasing liu yi about his fake girlfriend Mei , he knew about liu's feelings sooo , he teased him , ik san actually likes his jealousy side .

I literally wanted to cry when sam expressed his worry for lui yi , I can see how much chu san actually matters in liu yi's disturbing and horrible life .
San came at the correct time in yi's world , when he lost his family ( sister and big bro ) . It's not his fault for being a gangster it's just the situation pressures him to be one , I could totally understand liu yi's emotional condition , he needed someone to support him at that crucial moment , it's some kind of fate that brought them together .

They're like the two poles north one and south one , which could help them understand each other and help the other one . Honestly , I loved the way liu yi pampered sam when his dad suddenly fainted , and ik he cares for sam so much too .

Don't you think this guy is so adorable when he is jealous , he's like a pookie baby , who keeps on babbling around , so Ik now why he's a BOTTOM, what a pookie gangster .

What a mafia , he can't even do anything when chu san actually kissed him instead of ignoring like a adorable baby . Ik he kinda liked it but he's just trying to avoid the fact , he is already in love with a young college boyy ( even though he's not )

Idk how are they going to balance all of it together in just one episode
The second couple still are stuck as enemies and chu san just confessed to yi , I am very interested to know what's happening next , honestly i don't want second couple to just stay as hookups .

It's the exact type of drama that I love the most . It's actually worth watching , a lot of people are actually loving this and me tooo .

**THE OUTCOME WAS SO BEYOND EXPECTATIONS**

I got to see liu yi's after reaction , he was so happy literally laughing and dancing around just like a man who got his first love , I loved his reactions even though chu san missed it , honestly i wanted them to share a meal together when san returns and spend a special night , and wanted yi to quit his position and start a very normal life with sam by his side . I wanted him to brag all about san and I want to see sam's dad's reaction so much .

Howw it's so small .
So , it's quite sad that it's completed , chu san and liu yi finally realised their feelings , I could see how worried yi was when san got kidnapped and harrassed and I knew it from the way they kissed , how much scared they were and that joy .
But , I didn't expect the part when he actually got arrested leaving sanin tears , me too I literally cried , they just got together , but didn't even got time to spend with eachother . The most miserable part ever , I cried when liu yi said “wait for me ” .
They never deserved that ending , I thought they'll probably get out of that place
and live a normal life together .

Now we don't know how long it's gonna take for liu yi to return , when will they meet again , what will change between the officers , how he's gonna take revenge . They left us hanging with 100 s of unsolved questions .

In some way it's good that it ended this way cuz it's quite hard to balance all of the things in a single episode .
But the bad thing is that we don't know if there'll be a S2 or not , what will happen to the relationship that they built .

Hints for Season 2 ::
The questions that leads us to the second season.
• The officer , needed to talk about what .
• what happened to the fat gangster.
• how chu san got away from the fat ganster .
• what was he doing with those people throwing money or stuff .
•how will the officer take revenge for his brother .
• who is the actual killer .
• The relationship between the officers .
• the police officer and that gang leader Both were eliminated through the exact same signature killing style .

Biggest hint : liu yi told chu san to wait for him .

So , I'm not losing any hope yet , These key points strongly indicate that we are headed for a second season ( there's a lot of unsolved questions and mysteries ) .

I'm so happy that literally nodded and confirmed that there'll be a season 2 in their latest live stream on insta or tt .
Xixi zhaooo plssss don't play with us , we already have c bls season 2 trauma ...

Overall I recommend you guys to watch it , it's exactly perfect if we remove the ending .

It's exciting.

Meteor Garden is a drama that is absolutely worth watching. The story is engaging, delivering a romance full of emotions, conflicts, and memorable moments that keep you hooked from beginning to end. The female lead is strong and determined, and the development of her relationship with the male lead goes through many stages, making it feel more interesting and realistic.
The cast delivers charismatic performances, with great chemistry between the main characters, successfully conveying both lighthearted and intense moments. In addition, the production is visually appealing, with well-crafted settings and a soundtrack that fits perfectly with each scene.
Even with some typical romantic drama clichés, Meteor Garden stands out for how it builds its characters and keeps the audience invested. It’s a mix of romance, friendship, and personal growth that works really well.
Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys emotional and captivating love stories.

Beautifully crafted, emotionally resonant, but unable to carry the weight of its own twist

In Your Radiant Season begins with remarkable confidence. It’s beautifully made, warm in tone, and grows steadily through its early and middle episodes. The production is elegant, the pacing assured, and the ensemble feels grounded from the start.

But the twist is where the drama loses its footing. Not because the idea is inherently flawed, but because the execution never quite earns the emotional leap it demands. I could see where it was heading, and to be honest, I skipped Episodes 10 and 11. There’s a rawness in that stretch — something too close to real emotional bruising — and I simply didn’t want to sit through it. It’s only a show, but sometimes a storyline hits a nerve you don’t feel like reopening.

The supporting couples are the true highlight. Couples 2, 3, and 4 are consistently excellent, each with their own charm, rhythm, and emotional payoff. Their arcs feel lived‑in and rewarding, and they often outshine the main storyline.

The OTP is more complicated. Their interactions are engaging and often emotional, but Chan can be frustrating — a bit too “happy chappy” early on, without enough time to deepen that persona before the PTSD storyline arrives. His trauma is understandable, but the transition feels rushed. His grandmother, the potter extraordinaire, is one of the most compelling presences in the show, and we simply needed more time with her. Chan’s father, with his criticism, distance, and eventual redemption, follows a familiar K‑drama pattern. I understood what the show was aiming for, but it rang hollow for me.

Ha Ran, on the other hand, is lovely — steady, sincere, and quietly heartbreaking. All she wants is what she lost, and her emotional clarity is one of the drama’s strengths.

Even with its missteps, In Your Radiant Season remains a beautifully crafted drama with strong performances and a standout ensemble. It just can’t fully sell the twist that becomes its emotional centre. When it focuses on its supporting relationships — and on the quieter, more grounded moments — it shines brightest.

WORTH IT!!!!!

NUEA AND TOH SWEET COUPLE. AT THE FIRST EPISODE I WANTED TO DROP IT BEACAUSE OF THE CRINGE BEHAVIOR OF TOH BUT IT WAS WORTH IT TO WATCH THE WHOLE SERIES. I CAN SAY TOH IS A CERTIFIED STALKER AND OBSESSED PERSON BUT AS LONG AS IT IS A SERIES IT IS OKAY BECAUSE NUEA IS FINE WITH IT. AND I DEFINITELY KNOW THAT IT ONLY HAPPENS IN DRAMAS THAT OUR CRUSH LIKES US BACK WHEN HE IS A 10 AND YOU ARE JUST A 5. IF YOU WANTED TO START THIS I WILL ADVISE TO COMPLETE THE FIRST EPISODE BECAUSE AFTER WATCHING THE FIRST YOU WILL GO TO THE SECOND BELIEVE ME.

If you're looking for something different, then this series is for you!

I think this series 'Yesterday' is made for fans of intense angst, drama, craziness, and especially dark romance! The bottom is absolutely fire, while the top is 'little dear'. Both leads delivered amazing performances.
I’ve seen many people say the timeline is confusing, but it gets better as the episodes progress. Yes, it feels a little rushed in places, but that doesn’t ruin the series at all.
Trust me, you should give it a try. I really loved it!
