NOT A BL FAN BUT ITS SOW GUWD

Since this isn't really my genre and I only wanted to watch it for Ollie, I honestly didn't expect this series to actually make me CRY. I kept falling for their scenes, only to realize they were just acting within the show (you'll get what I mean if you watch it). Outside of their spicy scenes, I'm genuinely amazed by how ridiculously well-crafted this series is!

OMGGG OLLIEEE!! 🔥😫🥵🔥🔥🔥🔥

I can't believe my little brother is now such an attractive man AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.... I really hope he gets more main lead roles moving forward, especially in straight series too!

Beautiful

You can watch it on GagaOOLala: https://www.gagaoolala.com/en/videos/5800/the-journey-to-killing-you-2025-e01

That was a great short series, I thoroughly enjoyed watching it, and I will definitely be rewatching it in the future.

Things I liked:
1. Music. I really loved the OST to this series.
2. The ending. Super satisfying, couldn't be done better. Everyone got what they deserved.
3. Sweet and caring moments.
4. Kataoka. Yes, he is not perfect, but I genuinely think he is a great character.
5. Odajima. Incredibly complicated and layered character.
6. Overall plot. An interesting, exciting, and dark story that kept me invested the whole watch.
7. Great acting.
8. Beautiful scenery.
9. Awesome cinematography.

Things I disliked:
1. Didn't affect my rating because I just enjoyed this series way too much, but there are some inconsistencies throughout.

One of the Most Entertaining Shows in 2026!!

I wasn’t expecting great things when I first started with this mystery romance. I experienced many firsts with this show. This was my first time watching Yang Se Jong in action. It was also my first time watching Ong Seong Wu in a negative role. I’m mostly used to seeing them in chocolate boy roles. Must say, he left me surprised. Our main leads have quite unique personalities though. Cheon Yeo Ri has been stuck with the misfortune of seeing ghosts for almost ten years. Ma Gang Uk is a righteous prosecutor, who works tirelessly against evil suspects & brings them to justice. They have an unexpected encounter when they accidentally discover a corpse together. From there, things spiral out of control because, initially, Gang Uk is suspicious of Yeo Ri’s intentions. Since they are strangers, she can’t exactly confide in him, that she can see ghosts or communicate with them. Hilarious circumstances bring them together when Gang Uk holds hands with her, and he begins to see ghosts as well.

TOP

A well-deserved 10/10. *My CEO in Disguise* is the perfect breath of fresh air after a long day. It’s lighthearted, incredibly funny, and masterfully plays with the conventions of the genre with biting irony. A must-watch for anyone who wants to unwind by binge-watching episodes without even noticing the time passing.

An epic which has lots of goods and a few misses.

Just completed watching Pursuit of Jade for the very first time in 4 days already. This drama had incredible start , like the first 16 to 18 episodes were superior. Then 19 to 32 were great but not excellent. Then the last 7 to 8 episodes led somewhere between good and average.
The post credit scene in the finale was totally unnecessary.

Overall a good show. I already liked Zhang Ling He from The Best Thing and Tian Xi Wei from the Genius Girlfriend, but now I am more in love with both of them.

The most stupid and annoying character arc was of QianQian. The best story/romance for me was between Princess and Military Advisor.

This was my first Chinese Historic (Fiction/Non-Fiction) Drama. Maybe I will give chance to other historic dramas like Love in the Galaxy, The Double, Blossom and many more, These were in my watchlist for so long, perhaps now I can consider these after watching Pursuit of Jade.

Excellent story, screenplay was not great but was not bad either, music was good and acting was top notch.

A Beautifully Dark Tale That Ends Too Soon ??

My Journey to You stands apart from almost every historical C-drama I have watched. Instead of filling the screen with bright colors, pink-and-white blossoms, and an unrealistically beautiful, doll-like world, it embraces shadows, muted tones, and an almost black-and-white visual style. The atmosphere is often cold, heavy, and bitter—but that darkness is exactly what makes the drama feel so fresh and captivating. Not every story needs to exist in a romantic pink fantasy, especially when it revolves around spies, assassins, deception, and betrayal. In a world like this, darkness is not merely an aesthetic choice; it is an essential part of the story. 🗡️🌑
The drama begins with a powerful, thrilling opening that immediately draws us into its mysterious world of hidden identities and conflicting loyalties. The plot unfolds like a slow-burning mystery, while the haunting cinematography, elegant costumes, dimly lit interiors, and cold landscapes create a constant sense of danger. At times, the story is emotionally bitter, but I found that bitterness far more compelling than the artificial beauty of many conventional historical dramas.

The acting is another major strength. Esther Yu gives Yun Weishan a restrained intensity, while Zhang Linghe brings warmth and emotional sincerity to Gong Ziyu. Their relationship develops through vulnerability, suspicion, and the difficult decision to trust someone in a world where betrayal is always possible. 🌙

However, I personally found the second couple, Gong Shangjue and Shangguan Qian, much more fascinating than the main couple. Cheng Lei and Lu Yuxiao share remarkable chemistry, and every interaction between them feels like a dangerous game of attraction, suspicion, manipulation, and unspoken emotion. Shangguan Qian is particularly captivating; she moves beautifully between vulnerability and calculation, making it difficult to tell when she is performing and when her feelings are genuine. Gong Shangjue’s cold and controlled intensity complements her perfectly. 🔥

Their relationship is darker, more psychologically complex, and, in my opinion, has much more to say than the main romance. They understand each other deeply, yet their instincts for survival and self-protection make complete trust almost impossible. Their tragedy does not come from the absence of love, but from their inability to believe in it before it is too late. For me, the second couple—and especially Shangguan Qian’s layered characterization—became the emotional heart of the drama. 🥀

Unfortunately, after such a strong beginning and intriguing buildup, the story seems to stop in the final episode. It does not even feel like an intentional open ending; it feels unfinished, as if several important chapters are missing. Character arcs are left suspended, major questions remain unanswered, and the audience is denied the emotional closure the story deserved. The ending does not conclude the journey—it merely interrupts it. 😅

Despite its deeply frustrating finale, My Journey to You remains unforgettable because of its strong performances, layered characters, emotionally charged relationships, and bold visual identity. Its darkness is not a weakness—it is one of its greatest innovations. This is an elegant and haunting story in which everyone is hiding something, and love may be the most dangerous secret of all. 🌑✨

Fun take on Apartment politics

This was such a fun and engaging watch. I loved the characters, especially the fake family... I got attached to them instantly.
The concept also felt fresh. I’ve never watched a drama that focused so much on apartment politics, and seeing the hierarchy between homeowners, loan-owning homeowners, renters and subsidized renters was interesting.
At the same time, the scam storyline was a little unsettling because it showed how easily people who seem kind and helpful can actually be deceiving others.
It also captured the corruption that goes in building during construction of apartments and other large buildings. it's same in real life.

Ji Sung was excellent as always, and the female lead was great too.
I especially liked that the female lead was proactive and had her own ideas instead of constantly needing the male lead to protect her.

The villain was also different in the beginning he was more like maniac. I also loved that catching the villain wasn’t just about the leads; everyone played a part.

For a 12-episode drama, it stayed engaging throughout and I really liked the ending.

My only disappointment was that they didn’t show the kid in the end. He was such an important and lovable part of the story. Other than that, I have no major complaints.

Office romance and hidden psychological trauma

There are very few plots that can create and recreate the feeling of psychological horror in its viewers (like psychological horror not your classic 'horror' horror) and this was one of those masterpieces.. the whole kidnapping and keeping hostage part was so traumatizing.. I could not sleep the entire night after watching it ..so powerful..so insane.. honestly If it weren't for the lame office romance and unnecessary pathetic comedy around his narcissistic Outlook,.I would have given this drama a perfect 10 .. i mean why .... It's not like every pair of individuals who went through life and death experience together have to end up being romantically involved... Sheesh!!! Such a let down. Hence the 6 stars..

Speaking of the cast, adult actors were okay but child actors totally surpassed the adults with their performance by many folds ... It is quite amazing for such young kids to deliver such realistic performances.
Other aspects were whatever you expect of a modern korean drama aesthetics ..

Watched it for the actors

I can’t believe that all the good actors picked this project. The story was unbelievable, so their acting is the drama’a great saviour.

YSJ’s cute awkward character was so unlike his previous drama. He managed to pull it off while still being suave-at-times.

It was lightweight, with a ‘promise’ of romance and unreal it could only happen in k drama land.

Horny, Sharp, Unhinged

Starts as royal time-travel nonsense and then, quite rudely, turns out to be smart.

The chemistry? Insane.
The banter? Genuinely worth rewatching.
The acting? Much better than this genre usually gets.

What I love most is that the romance feels adult. These are not two decorative mannequins waiting for an accidental wrist grab to rearrange their lives. They’re proud, difficult, funny, vain, slightly unwell, and extremely into each other. Which, naturally, is exactly what makes them so fun to watch. The flirting has real voltage because it grows out of personality, not just proximity.

And the show knows it. It gives us actual desire, actual tension, and jokes that understand these people are grown. Secretary Son turning herbal tea into a stamina joke? The arm-size Namsan Tower bit? Excellent. Deeply unserious, but delivered with enough confidence to work.

It also helps that the cast fully gets the assignment. Im Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-jun do much more than look good and bicker well — though they do both at an offensively high level. They give the chaos structure. The supporting cast is strong, the comic timing is sharp, and the dialogue has enough bite to make you want to replay scenes just to hear them spar again.

My only real complaint is the last few episodes. The grandmother/soul arc takes up too much space, and the show loses some of its earlier edge. Se-gye gets less bite, Seo-ri gets less room to be gloriously difficult, and the family conflict doesn’t get the clever handling it really deserved. It never becomes bad. It just becomes less sharp than it was.

Still, I had a great time. Funny, sexy, weird, and much smarter than it first appears. And anything serving this much chemistry, this much banter, and this many scenes worth rewatching has already done more than enough.

Season 2 was honestly a disappointment compared to Season 1. ?

I really wanted to see more of Yeon Woo and Yoo Han, especially after everything that happened between them, but Yoo Han basically disappears from the story. Instead, the season focuses heavily on investigations, the probe surgery mystery, and new characters. The mystery itself had potential, but the plot felt rushed and confusing at times, and some of the emotional moments didn't hit as hard as they should have.

And can we talk about Yoo Han?! WHERE IS THE MONO'S PROBE?! 😭 I spent the whole season waiting for Yeon Woo to find him, only to get that tiny reveal at the end. Like... that's it?! 💀

The ending definitely leaves the door open for more, but after waiting all season, I wanted actual answers and a proper reunion.

Season 1 had the chemistry, mystery, and emotional connection that made me invested. Season 2 had interesting ideas, but the execution just wasn't as satisfying.

6/10 — mostly because I still need to know what happened to Yoo Han. 😭
Please, if there's ever another season, give us the Yoo Han and Yeon Woo reunion we were waiting for!

BL TERBAIK SEPANJANG MASA BAGIKU

nice and nothing more

I watched it a whole ago and to be honest I don't really remember what happened, I just remember it was pretty boring.
It offers a nice mix of a more mature romance alongside a look into South Korea's intensely competitive academic world. As the plot progresses, it tries to blend too many genres—like a mystery thriller subplot that doesn't quite fit the light romantic tone, which slightly disrupts the story's flow.
it is a pleasant drama with some sweet moments, but it doesn't leave a lasting impression and tends to fade from memory pretty quickly. I would mainly recommend watching it if you've already cleared your primary watchlist and are simply looking for a light show to pass the time.

Buona visione 😉

i am not satisfaction?

Last 2 episode not good.Episode 1-10 good.Cast very good but story not satisfaction.best of luck.Ghost story is very interseting, but love story not satisfaction.I am very disappoint😢.The acting is definitely the strongest part, and the cast did a really good job. The story had some interesting moments, but the pacing felt slow in places and I didn’t feel fully invested throughout. The music was okay, but nothing really stood out to me. Overall, it’s worth watching once, but I expected a little more.
