Tian era um garoto que agia, em alguns momentos, sem pensar muito nas consequências. Ele não se importava muito, porque tinha um problema no coração, que podia matá-lo e ele precisava de um transplante. Uma noite, ele recebeu a informação de que havia um doador compatível. O que Tian não esperava era que a causa da morte desse doador lhe deixaria curioso sobre a pessoa que lhe deu uma nova chance de estar vivo.

Procurando saber sobre a pessoa que lhe doou o coração, Tian descobriu que era uma mulher e encontrou um diário dela, onde dizia alguns de seus desejos. Entre eles, ela buscava, não de forma literal, pela milionésima estrela na montanha na qual trabalhava voluntariamente como professora.

Not sure why

I couldn't finish this show, I really struggled to keep my mind on it, the first four episodes weren't too bad. Kinda disappointed in myself for not being to stick through it for Kim Sejeong's sake since I REALLY enjoyed her performance in Brewing Love.

I said that if this drama wowed me then I'd finally give Extraordinary Attorney Woo a try and move it to the top of my watchlist. Guess that won't be happening. 😔 How awful.

5/10 cuz I'm pretty neutral.

It looked good, had an interesting premise, good acting and pretty solid music. All the components put together just didn't do it for me.

As clouds disperse, love emerges.

Japanese BL writers undoubtedly know how to use literary devices, predominantly symbolism and pathetic fallacy, and I'm just zooming in on this particular drama, combined with the directors 加藤綾佳 (Kato Ayaka) and 安村栄美 (Yasumura Emi)'s many cinematic choices to highlight those techniques. Speaking more generally, I really think it works.

And that's exactly what I want to highlight in this review, because I think it was executed most successfully.

There's nothing like an opening episode that knows how to throw you into the thick of it, setting up a compelling premise of mystery, desire, and possession between one very unlikely pairing, coupled with alluring imagery to keep you going into the next. 『体感予報』 (My Personal Weatherman, 2023) continues to hold its ground with audiences even three years later because of its blend of dynamic storytelling and beautiful cinematography, and that just hit the right spot for me.

From start to finish, I enjoyed the complexities of each character, from their introductions to their development later in the drama, and watching the relationship between them grow into something that they both eventually come to realize they needed most: to be understood, and to be loved for it. Our two rival protagonists 瀬ヶ崎 瑞貴 (Segasaki Mizuki) and 棚田 葉 (Tanada Yoh) have quite the history together that does get room to breathe as we watch them mature into their present selves, and that history becomes the central, and often misunderstood, conflict of the story. However, I will disclose that I generally don't enjoy most misunderstanding tropes and arcs of the like, but viewers should note that this is essential for driving these characters toward understanding themselves and each other, as well as the reason this theme appears so frequently in Japanese media.

Segasaki's love language reflects Japan's culture of indirectness and how easily it can misrepresent one's intentions. On the other hand, Tanada's more direct love language contrasts as words of affirmation. And here is where the "opposites attract" dynamic truly blossoms. While the push-and-pull and constant misinterpretations can be exhausting, I couldn't help but root for them (and kick my feet while doing so) to make it work and continue putting in the effort for each other. Slowly but surely, they did, and I didn't expect this to be the kind of drama that would leave you on a sour note; it does have its mellow (but tender) moments though.

Don't think I've gotten so lost in the appealing characterization that I've forgotten the whole point of this review, so let me digress for a moment. My Personal Weatherman does this enchanting thing with weather and color by correlating them with the characters' emotional states and desires, using different weather conditions to represent each of them. I will be honest, after watching this drama, I will never be able to think of sunny days the same way ever again. Each weather condition is given a beat before the next and with that, so do we with the characters themselves, watching as they discover something new about themselves or each other, confess, or act upon a new emotion. You can trust that the story guides both the viewer's emotions and their interpretation of each moment through every hiccup by what the condition of the weather is, so I think it was such a fantastic choice in the storytelling to make one of the characters a weatherman and use that occupation to drive the story. I know this sounds like such a minuscule, unimportant decision, but it shone the brightest (no pun intended.)

As always, among the strongest points that kept me watching were also some of its weaker ones. I must admit, I don't have much "bad" commentary to provide for this drama, while I also don't take much pleasure in dwelling on that, there is just one thing that kept this drama from being a home run to my own standards. There is no denying that I felt there was a slight lack of depth in some of the story's arcs and characterization, even though I emphasized how much I loved it. Probably much to no one's surprise, if you've read a few reviews already, the characters do begin to fall a bit flat and one-dimensional as the episodes progress. I often observed that the story led a couple of steps ahead of the characters themselves, but they caught up quickly enough that it never took me out of the story. Structurally, though, it wasn't particularly stable.

If I can provide any unsolicited constructive criticism, it would be to allow the characters to grow actively together rather than passively through one another, so that the pacing and development of the story support the characters, not the other way around. There were too many instances where the characters would come to an understanding under one of three circumstances: in bed, from the sidelines, or through another character. This altered how I viewed their chemistry and the foundation of their relationship, often stopping to ask myself, "What was it that brought them together like this again? Why do they like each other?" And honestly, the answer to that question appears way too late by the time a viewer would choose to keep watching or walk away.

I want to end this on a high by saying this is a drama I would, and already have, recommended a few times. I find myself thinking about these characters and appreciating what makes them who they are, the cute and spicy moments they shared together, and overall the idea that a more shy, soft-spoken person can really come to terms with who they are, their emotions, learn more about the person they adore, and express themselves through the art that they create. That is such a warm message that deeply resonates with me as a writer. So, if you're thinking about giving this drama a try, I'd encourage you to.

Because at the end of the day, after a season of rainfall, love always finds a way to bloom.

And it's waiting for you too.

Amazing 10/10 Give me 14 of them

I absolutely love Ticket to Heaven because it tells a story that feels emotional, sincere, and unforgettable. What makes it so special to me is the way it explores love, identity, hope, and personal growth without making the characters feel unrealistic. Every scene seems to have a purpose, whether it is making me smile, laugh, or reflect on the challenges the characters face. The chemistry between the leads feels natural, making it easy to become invested in their journey and root for them through every obstacle. I also appreciate how the series is willing to tackle difficult topics while still leaving room for warmth, kindness, and moments of happiness. Instead of relying only on romance, it develops the characters as individuals, allowing viewers to understand their fears, dreams, and motivations. The cinematography, music, and overall atmosphere add another layer of beauty, creating scenes that stay in my mind long after an episode ends. I find myself thinking about the conversations, the emotions, and the messages it shares about acceptance and finding the courage to be yourself. It reminds me that love is not always easy, but it is worth fighting for when it is built on honesty, respect, and genuine care. I admire how the story encourages empathy by showing different perspectives and highlighting the importance of understanding others rather than judging them. Watching Ticket to Heaven is more than simple entertainment for me because it leaves me feeling inspired and emotionally connected. It is the kind of series that makes me appreciate meaningful storytelling and reminds me why I enjoy watching BL dramas in the first place. Even after finishing an episode, I continue thinking about the characters and eagerly look forward to what happens next. A Warm Hug Wrapped in all the Green Flags!

When I Fly Towards You is, without question, one of the most emotionally healing coming-of-age dramas I've ever watched. Rather than relying on toxic misunderstandings, unnecessary love triangles, or emotionally manipulative tropes, it quietly reminds you that kindness, patience, and emotional safety can be just as captivating.

At its heart is Zhang Lurang, whose reserved and withdrawn personality is deeply rooted in growing up within a highly critical family. His instinct is always to retreat, protecting himself from further disappointment. Then enters Su Zaizai, a walking ray of sunshine whose steady encouragement, warmth, and unconditional acceptance create the psychological safety he never had. She never tries to "fix" him; instead, she consistently shows him that he is worthy of love exactly as he is. Helping him to slowly unlearn years of self-doubt simply because someone believes in him is one of the most beautiful character journeys I've seen.

What makes this drama stand out even more is how healthy every relationship feels. The romance is built on mutual respect, honest communication, and emotional maturity. Jealousy isn't weaponized. Misunderstandings aren't dragged out for episodes. Instead, the characters communicate, reassure one another, and choose trust over assumptions.

The friendships deserve just as much praise. Their friend group feels like a true chosen family and a safe place where everyone is allowed to grow, make mistakes, discover who they are, and cheer each other on. Rather than having one character save everyone else, they grow together, validating each other's emotions and becoming mirrors that help one another mature. It's incredibly refreshing and deeply relatable.

Perhaps my favorite part, though, is the atmosphere. The entire drama wraps you in nostalgia. It captures the innocence of first love, high school friendships, and growing up with such warmth that it genuinely feels like receiving a hug after a long day. The low-conflict storytelling never feels boring; instead, it allows you to fully enjoy the emotional journey without the exhaustion of constant angst. It's comforting, healing, and leaves you smiling long after each episode ends.

If you're looking for a drama filled with green flags, emotional intelligence, heartfelt friendships, and a romance that restores your faith in healthy relationships, When I Fly Towards You is absolutely worth every minute!

watched it for phuwin but yaya carried it truly

here's what i wrote on my ig right after i finished watching it 2 months ago:

negl i watched it purely for phuwin even if he's just a supporting character, but he turned out to be way more important to the story than i thought he'd be so it was a win for me.
he didn't have many scenes or lines but every one he had was a bomb dropping time stopping line. and every single time i saw him i rewinded the scene to see him again and say omfg you're so pretty.
one thing I'll say is that i noticed a couple times that he could've been on screen but he wasn't and his character was handled through a phone call we didn't hear his side of and that was probably due to scheduling conflicts. which i did confirm was in fact that way by looking it up on twt. apparently he was filming we are, summer nights AND dalah all simultaneously so yeah that answers my question.

anyway, the show itself was pretty good. i liked the plot, the mystery and the character dynamics. it didn't drag unnecessarily and the cinematography was honestly beautiful. the director knew what she was doing and i can tell she had a clear vision for the show.
only thing I'll say is that the final reveal was maybe a little too much dialogue but the dialogue itself was well written and didn't feel clunky so i don't mind it too much

so conclusion: i love phuwin and he's gorgeous

Annoying FL but its bearable

I’m rating this show an 8 stars because it genuinely is a good show. Initially it was everywhere and highly praised but then at the same time it was scrutinised and compared to real life idols who passed away due to suicide and the fact that the show was ‘inspired’ by Jonghyun from Shinee to make a story like it which made me steer away from the show initially.

But somehow recently I felt a pull to start it and I’m glad it did. I want to start off by saying this show has nothing to do with Jonghyun and the only similarity is unfortunately the suicide part. But you cannot claim that a show depicting an idol committing suicide is a direct link to someone in real life. This show covers the difficulties of idols’ lives in general and doesn’t target anyone specific and I’m really surprised people made up a rumor like that…

Although Sunjae’s depression partly stemmed from not meeting Sol, which is the main premise and set up for the drama. Which once again, I do not see how people connected this to the late Jonghyun. Please just let him rest in peace, not everything is a direct hit on him.

With that out of the way, I wanted to say that the thing that made this show so irritatingly unwatchable at times, is how stupid the FL is. She is beyond frustrating, acts like a toddler at her big ass age and freezes everytime the ML does anything remotely affectionate. It is not cute nor enjoyable to watch. I hate to be harsh about this but this is one thing I can’t tolerate in K-dramas in general.

Kim Hyeyoon is about to turn 30 and her acting has not changed since Extraordinary You. It seriously felt like I was watching her character from that show rather than Im Sol.
And although her character in Extraordinary You was cute and I liked her, it was because it fit and she was funny! This character was just a baby. A constant baby.

She also seemed like one of those stiff kissers who barely move their lips which wasn’t the case in Extraordinary You before…I don’t know, I just couldn’t get myself to like her character in this show at all.

Not only was she stupid but she is constantly freezing up, in every instance. The scene where Sunjae falls off the cliff, he stood there for solid good 30 seconds and while she stood there just watching, she could’ve grabbed him like 10 times. She was also extremely stubborn about the serial killer and could’ve easily solved that case in much less stupid ways. I don’t understand how she couldn’t comprehend that all of her actions where she would isolate herself to save Sunjae didn’t work and no matter what she did it was going to backfire, it was proven multiple times since she time traveled back and forth and she still did the same goddamn things.😭

All in all, Sunjae’s character isn’t much for me to comment on. His whole personality is just loving Im Sol which is cute I guess but he didn’t have much of a personality outside of that. Literally all he ever did is talk about her, make everything about her, he didn’t even pursue music in the end which he said he enjoyed but instead became an actor. The song that was erased but he sang again was left ambigously erased in the end I guess sincd it was never brought up again if it was turned into an actual song or not. Guess it doesn’t matter its one of the smaller nitpicks I have.

Another thing that bothered me is how in ep15 after she had a serious flu to the point where she passed out and even had to have an IV for, she woke up with full face of makeup on the next day with a freshly put on lipgloss lol..so many things in this show felt like they were put in there just for the main couple to have a moment, a lot of the small details didn’t matter.

I also don’t understand how Sol and Taesang became friends when they weren’t connected before either, except for the fact that Sol had a crush on him but that’s the only connection they have. And how did Sol not meeting Sunjae change Taesang’s future that much when the only reason he changed in the future (in the other timelines) is because Im Sol comforted him and told him to do better. All of these are erased so what changed for him to do that? And how the hell did they get close to the point where he calls her ‘My Sol’. They literally had zero connection before lol…

I’ll end my rant there. It feels like the more I nitpick the more I want to lower my scoring for this show but these are all small things that are easily forgotten so I didn’t want to be too strict. The only thing that bothered me to the point where it made me want to stop watching is Im Sol’s character and how she acted, and my gosh I absolutely couldn’t stand her constant baby voice…other than that Kim Hyeyoon is a talented actress but she needs to stop being casted in shows where she acts like a grown toddler…I guess it’s Koreas ‘aegyo’ but it gets to a point. I genuinely couldn’t tell if that was just how the actress acts in general or if they wrote her character like that, either way, just don’t do that shit again. My god.

Overall though, the show wasn’t bad at all. It was super entertaining and I actually rooted for the main couple (despite my frustrations). It was silly and stupid at the same time, a lot of things were just straight up outrageous but it was good and I liked the side characters and how their futures were also impacted and changed, loved looking at that too.

Other than the FL’s acting, show was pretty solid. So for that, I give it an 8, which is very generous with how many complaints I came with lol!!

Really Surprised at Low Ratings - I enjoyed it Very Much

My rating is 10/10

I am really surprised at so many lower ratings because I have watched over 400 dramas and consider myself quite picky at this point. If you are looking for something that is really more of a traditional drama trope this fits that criteria. If you want a darker theme to the romance this might not be it for you. But if you like comfortable predictability with just enough intrigue to carry you through then this could be a good one. I wasn't expecting some epic love story just a fairly simple and straight forward romance that fit the male being cold but warming up trope well.

There are even some Easter Eggs if you catch them.

This series was exactly what I needed after a couple of disappointing slow-burn Chinese romances. Those often drag for me, but this one delivered a faster pace, lighter tone, and perfect balance of romance and charm that kept me hooked. I loved the premise right away—both leads have genuinely interesting jobs that feel fresh and integral to the story rather than just background.

The character development is strong, their chemistry sparkles naturally, and the romance progresses at a satisfying speed without feeling rushed or stagnant. Matthew Lee and Dam Ye-jin make a wonderful pair, and the rural village setting adds warmth and humor throughout. It's a breezy, feel-good watch with solid production and performances that make it highly rewatchable. I can forgive the 12-episode format here because nothing major felt missing, unlike some other recent shows. If you enjoy fast-paced, light-hearted romances with good workplace elements and heart, I highly recommend Sold Out on You. 10/10—I'll definitely watch it again.

From an American cultural perspective, a couple of minor family dynamics annoyed me. Dam Ye-jin (main girl) came across as pretty mean to her dad for virtually no reason and forgave her mom way too easily. I thought her mom was cruel to her growing up and never believed in her. Such a short simple apology did not feel like an adequate gesture to make up for years of emotional abuse. Same with her "apology" to her dad. First, she waited until after she reconciled with her mom before considering she had treated her dad badly.

I was a bit worried they would not resolve the past harmful cosmetic issue. So, I was relieved that in both key instances, Matthew Lee wasn't responsible for the poor cosmetic outcomes. I wish Dam Ye-jin had received a stronger apology from her Director and better payout since she was right both times.

Some side elements felt unnecessary or underdeveloped. I didn't understand why the sister of the girl with the rash had to become a home shopping presenter—she wasn't a very likable character to me. I know rivalry often makes people act unlike themselves but I did not think she was very nice even when she determined she was not going to be with him. Even after telling him her feelings and getting a soft rejection, she still attempted to sabotage their relationship by essentially telling main girl to go home.

Eric Seo (second guy) was great, though. He pursued Dam Ye-jin in a respectful, low-key way without being pushy, and when he realized he didn't have a chance, he handled it maturely without any vindictiveness. That was refreshing. He would be a good friend in the future, someone you would greet with a smile son your face. I liked that his character was not destroyed. I also liked that his sister, that was so awful to him but also to others, got in trouble for her criminal activity.

The second romance between Dam Ye-jin's friend and the village guy was cute. His arc—being convinced he could never love anyone else after pursuing one girl forever, only to open up—was sweet. His heart told him he liked her before his brain caught up.

I could have done without the third couple (his friend/business counterpart and the coffee shop girl). She felt very cold with zero chemistry, like it was added just to pair everyone off. The same goes for the rushed, unnecessary pairing of the woman who had been so hung up on Matthew with Dam Ye-jin's production assistant (or whatever his role was). That was a weird pair up and I found her pretty unlikable.

There were a lot of fun little details too. Like the cosmetic product Matthew Lee developed looked convincingly genuine, and those white-flowered nuri mushrooms were adorable—I genuinely wished they were real. The rooster scene had me laughing out loud (not sure about the egg mixing confusion, but it worked). Dam Ye-jin's adopted grandma, Song Hak-daek, was an absolute bright spot—warm, funny, and one of the best supporting characters in the show.

So, what were the Easter Eggs? Male Lead was in Business Proposal and K-Pop Demon Hunter and they drop reference to both. Did you or will you catch it? Maybe there were others?

Overall, this was a delightful, comforting watch that hit all the right notes for me. Highly recommended!

bom, é sempre minha culpa por não ler sinopse, mas eu comecei a assistir esperando por uma vibe sociedade dos poetas mortos kkkkk então de primeira me decepcionou um pouco e talvez eu não tenha gostado tanto pq justamente não era o tipo de mídia pelo qual eu tava procurando no momento, sabe? mas enfim, continuei assistindo.
por vezes a série é muito viciante e tu não consegue parar de ver, e em outras fica entediante e arrastada. é interessante e torturante assistir a uma pessoa se degradando aos poucos como o munoh vai fazendo conforme ele basicamente joga toda a vida dele no lixo pra viver em torno dessa fofoca do kang. -- mas também é interessante pensar que ele faz isso facilmente porque na verdade nunca estimou a vida que tem. sempre achei esse lee kang muito esquisito, tudo nele é esquisito, tem que ser uma presa muito fácil pra cair nessa. eu passei a série inteira pensando em como a relação deles nunca foi sobre escrita por um único segundo, mas no final me dei conta de que no fundo na verdade o kang era SIM um ótimo escritor, um ótimo escritor de fanfic especificamente...
não tive empatia e conexão com o munoh na maior parte do tempo, tive raiva e ranço dele por ser péssimo em tudo que se propõe a fazer: um marido péssimo, um professor péssimo, um profissional péssimo em linhas gerais, e também um autor péssimo. porém fiquei sim um pouquinho mexida na cena em que ele abraça o livro e fala meu livro... acho que é o único momento em que ele demonstra algum sentimento diferente de obsessão, em que a vulnerabilidade e o sofrimento dele aparecem. mas é uma representação bem absurda da profissão da escrita, porque é impossível escrever tudo em uma sentada kkkkk. mesmo tendo uma esposa psicóloga, acho que o maior problema do munoh sempre foi não ser capaz de alcançar o próprio inconsciente, os próprios sentimentos, de modo a criar algo a partir dali. a vida dele é apática e da apatia não sai arte. quando algo envolve ele e acende sentimentos verdadeiros, ele cria.
não gosto do final pq sinto que sempe que essa coisa cíclica se coloca em final desse tipo de narrativa é uma forma de evitar dar um desfecho. preferia ter visto ele definhando e vendendo livro e deu. e o lee kang continuou meio que uma incógnita, uma vingança por um motivo tão vazio... de certa forma ele é sim um duplo do munoh. freud explica.

Blossoms of Power: Down the Blossom Rabbit Hole

🔹 At the time of this review, 7 episodes had aired out of 36, and I was already hooked. My first impression: 10/10.
🔹 Sometimes a drama sends me down a rabbit hole, and this one definitely did.

🌸 Down the Blossom Rabbit Hole
🔹 If Blossoms of Power reminds you of Blossom, you're definitely not imagining it.
🔹 At first, I thought it was simply because Meng Ziyi stars in both dramas, but the more I watched, the more curious I became.
🔹 Then I recognized the voices almost immediately, so I went down the Blossom rabbit hole to figure out what was behind that familiar feeling.
🔹 Sure enough, I discovered that Sun Ya Chen once again provides Meng Ziyi's dubbing voice, while Wu Tao, who voiced Song Mo in Blossom, now voices Xiao Huayong in Blossoms of Power.
🔹 The deeper I dug, the more connections I found. Both dramas are Tencent productions and share director Guo Feng. I also noticed a similar elegance in their visual presentation and production style.
🔹 Add in several familiar faces from Blossom, and it's easy to see why longtime fans immediately feel right at home.
🔹 Even with all those connections, Blossoms of Power never feels like it's trying to recreate Blossom. Instead, it quickly carves out its own identity by putting palace politics, strategy, and power struggles at the center of the story.
🔹 I still think you should watch and decide for yourself if this is your cup of drama tea.

🔹 One of my favorite details is Shen Xihe's extraordinary sense of smell.

🔹 In this world, scents and incense can carry meaning, hide intentions, and even become dangerous, which made that detail especially interesting to me.
🔹 The pacing has been one of the drama's biggest strengths so far.
🔹 7 episodes flew by because every episode kept the story moving while building the larger political picture.

🔹 Going down the Blossom rabbit hole ended up being one of the most enjoyable parts of watching this drama. Once I started connecting the voices, familiar faces, and production details, everything suddenly clicked.
🔹 Shen Xihe's extraordinary sense of smell is one of the most interesting abilities I've seen in a historical drama in quite a while because it actually becomes part of the political strategy.
🔹 Every episode answered a few questions while opening up several more, making it incredibly easy to keep watching.

Desde os primordios eu sabia que essa serie seria boa, mas eu não esperava que ela fosse no nivel que ela foi.

Digo aqui com alguém que passou pelo que a serie conta e consegue ver, na direção de imagem, na atuação, na musica toda a tensão que uma vez eu senti. E mesmo que o meu final tenha sido triste eu agradeço por tudo que o Aof fez um final feliz, um final caloroso, eu não me importo que o final tenha parecido propaganda para a igreja no final para alguns, para mim o final foi o que eu queria. Era o final que qualquer pessoa que entrou na igreja, que se entende nos métodos de la deveria passar por porque como o próprio final deixa claro, é só amor. Não deveriamos ser julgados por amar

muito boa porém...

serie muito fofinha, com algumas estagnações quando se tratava de relacionamento e as complicações de como é realmente alguns sentimentos

comecei ela fielmente pelo ator que faz o Punlee pois pra mim ele é o suco do entretenimento

devo ser muito woke e amargurado por simplesmente não aceitar as desculpas do pai do teerak e daquele porra do Oh, de verdade gente (digo não só pelo teerak ter aceitado tudo mas sim porque até os outros dos quais as personalidades não são tão boazinhas também aceitaram e seguiram a vida com isso)

primeiro que queria que o final desse Oh fosse na cadeia, que porra fez um monte de crime e depois EU TENHO QUE ATURAR OUVIR A HISTORIA PASSADA DELE PRA TER PENA minha pica aqui ó. O viado não aceita um não, fica pertubando deus e o mundo e depois fala que a culpa é da mae dele ser assim? uma historia muito boa com personagens muito cativantes (principalmente o thup, meu sonho que ele fosse mais aprofundado, no caso que os dois personagens principais fossem mais aprofundados, nao que eles nao tenham sidos, é so que eu acho que o que aprofundou é o que ja dava pra saber) mesmo com um pequeno lack de continuidade (em quesito roupas e etc) e atuação a obra consegue se seguir e não me da raiva por contas dessas faltas (Só senti raiva porque realmente os personagens são bem burros não aguentei como que um doutor forense tao burro assim virou doutor forense ME FALA MEU DEUS)
