Buaaaa la verdad cuando descubrí este epilogo y dije voy a verlo, no pensé que nomas fueran 3 minutos pero con esos 3 minutos a mi me dio algo, lit fue algo muy bonito, mentiría si dijera que no que gustaría ver mas porque este epilogo nomas me dejo con mas ganas de verlos pero siento que nos dieron al bonito, conciso y cumplidor un final digno, o sea lit con los actores, las expresiones y las palabras se siente de una manera inexplicable, ojala haber escuchado la respuesta de Nozue hacia Togawa pero bueno se disfruta, se ve demasiado rápido y es ver un poquito mas de ellos como la gran pareja que son:)

Que gran miniserie neta siento que me dio todo en solo 5 capítulos, incluso me tuvo llorando los dos últimos, enserio que aun que chance es una historia un tanto sencilla te cautiva de una manera que dices en que momento y además al menos yo hice un introspectiva en mi y de 19 años que tengo me sentí mas identificado con Nozue que tiene 39 que con Togawa de 29, no se, me sentí Nozue en muchos aspectos que dice pero a la vez me hizo sentido una frase que le dice Togawa a el y es: "Esta bien, tener una diferencia de edad o ser una minoría, es lo mismo que tener diferentes lugares de origen o animar a un equipo de beisbol diferente, no es nada."
Tanto Nozue como Togawa son demasiado carismáticos y te encariñas muy rápido con ellos por todo lo que están haciendo no se, el cariño que les tome en 5 caps, siento que toda la historia esta contada de una manera muy pegada a la realidad porque vemos como que "todo" este proceso de los personajes, chance me hubiera gustado ver como lidiaban un poquito mas por separado, pero ps nomas eran 5 caps no había mucha tela de donde cortar, pero con lo que nos mostraron quedo claro que su relación es especial a mas no poder.
Se que la serie tiene varios personajes secundarios pero para mi no destacaron demasiado en general cumplen con su "propósito" si tal cosa tiene sentido.
Sin duda es una miniserie muy hermosa y que sin duda volvería a ver.

-Creo que bajo este mar profundo podrá haber cosas mas hermosas que nos están esperando.

Tengo demasiado conflicto con este cap especial no se, siento que pudo haber demasiadas formas diferentes de hacerlo, me hubiera gustado mas un salto temporal que nos mostrara un poco de que ha sido de ellos y asi pq ps este cap pasa en cuanto acaba la serie y en si la trama esta demasiado who, en lugar de mostrarnos mas cosas y asi, tenemos como que la 1ra parte que es esto de ellos varados en la isla (que según yo ni se explica como llegaron a eso, sisi alguien mándeme ms con lo que paso), y luego la 2da parte que esta bien, nos da mas momentos entre ellos y pues son momentos lindos, pero en general este cap me termino debiendo muchas cosas.
Y lo que mas asi me tuvo fueron las parejas lit con que les hubieran dado 5min a cada pareja donde nos dijeran como estaban sobrellevando su relación y que hacían y asi neta con eso pero no nos dieron nada de ellos y yo entiendo que ps la pareja principal y asi pero el cap para mi tiene mucho relleno.
Eso si lo que es la escena final si me gusto, ese si fue un buen cierre para mi, lit que nos mostraran a todos juntos y asi, o sea imagínense que nos hubieran dado por lo menos una escena de como estaban las parejas y ya para el final pasar a esa escena para mi hubiera sido de lo mejorcito pero bueno es un cap que cierra de una manera buena la historia de Sun y Salin.

Eres mío por el resto de tu vida

Vaya forma de darle cierre a esta serie la vd, este cap es de lo mas hermoso que he visto lit tiene todo lo que esperaba bueno menos una cosa pero tengo que decir que aquí ya visualice a una pareja mas establecida y mas segura de todo, es un cap sencillito y rápido de ver pero sin duda si te gusto la serie este cap especial te cae como anillo al dedo.

Algo que me gusto es que pudimos conocer a la mama de Yao Shun Yu y me cayo muy bien lo poquito que la vimos y se noto el amor que le tiene a su hijo y el como quiere que le pase lo mas bonito, me hubiera gustado tmb ver a la mama de Xia Shang Zhou pero bueno, este cap lit es para ver a una pareja super sana y llena de momentos demasiado top que la vd agradezco que exista lo único que me falto en si hubiera sido como la boda boda pero también maybe estaba un poco de mas.

Pasando a personajes secundarios aquí tenemos nuevamente a Li Hui Wang (subdirector) y Xiao Yang (el chofer) que fueron los que ayudaron a Shang Zou con lo que paso en el cap pero también tal parece que se va a dar algo entre ellos por una conversación que tienen ya que resulta que ninguno tiene pareja ni esta casado pero había rumores de que todo era lo contrario incluso que Li Hui Wang estaba con una secretaria que según yo se refieren a Lisa pq con ella en la serie es con la única que se le ve mas cercana pero sorpresa pq si al final si era ella se nos dice que ella ya es mamá y todo porque Lui le dice a Xiao que ella se enamoro y que ya hasta pidió una licencia de maternidad entonces pues quedan ellos como solteros y tienen un mini momento y luego es cuando Lui le dice a Xiao: "¿Te importaría enamorarte de un hombre?" a mi me dio algo neta y tal parece que si se puede dar algo entre ellos lastima que ps la serie acaba aquí y eso quedo en duda pero ojala y hagan otra serie como ellos de protagonistas y desarrollando su relación y sirve que siguen expandiendo este "universo" que ya tiene 4 series.

Conociendo cada pedacito de ti de alguna manera es fundamental para mi

Tengo digamos que sentimientos encontrados con esta serie que en lo personal a mi si me gusto bastante pero si siento que tiene unos cuantos "problemas", para mi el mas importante seria con la historia que si esta bonita y todo pero yo sentía que algunas veces avanzaba muy rápido o de alguna forma como que no daba el tiempo suficiente creo.
Xia Shang Zhou y Yao Shun Yu me cayeron muy bien en especial un poco mas este Shun Yu siento que tiene mas carisma y asi no se su actitud se me hace bien bonita y digo lo entiendo pq esta serie cumple con el cliche de sunshine x grumpy, para mi si cumplen como pareja o sea si se ve química entre ellos y todo, si tengo que admitir que no es la pareja mas green flag incluso tienen unos momentos un poco red flag pero ps todavía no eran pareja, digamos que fue por las adversidades que se tenían que enfrentar y que al final terminan haciendo justo eso enfrentando, tienen momentos muy bonitos que por ejemplo toda esta parte de ellos conociéndose y para mi el cap 10 de la mitad en adelante es de lo mejorcito tienen unos momentos y unos besos que no decepcionan diría yo.
Ahora mi otro problema es con los personajes secundarios y en si no es un problema con ellos sino con como están "distribuidos"?, en general se podría decir que no tiene trama básicamente todos están para cuando algo suceda con algún prota.
Tenemos a Li Hui Wang (el subdirector) que el esta cuando algo pase con Shang Zou pq ps se cuentan todo y asi, creo que es el que mas participacion tiene y me cayo muy bien en algunos momentos como que se quiere dar a entender que puede pasar algo entre el y la jefa de las secretarias pero al final termina en nada, ni se desarrolla y se deja de lado la vd.
Tenemos a todo el clan de secretarias que lo mismo ellas están pero para cuando pase algo con Shun Yu y ps las mas destacables son Lisa que es como la jefa y Sofia que es como las best friend de Shun Yu pero en general todas caen muy bien y tienen mucho carisma.
Y lit creo que ya, bueno esta este Xiao Yang (el chofer de Shang Zhou) que creo que sale hasta mas que la propia mama de Shang pero cae bien los pocos momentos que sale.
y creo que es todo en general una serie que cumple en algunos aspectos y en otros se queda a deber un poquito (historia, desarrollo de mas personajes, etc.) aunque punto bueno pq me gusto mucho estas tipo entrevistas que salen al principio de los caps le agregaba sin duda algo a la serie y tmb que la panadería a la que van se llama "you are mine" son pequeños toques que cuando los captas tan bonitos.

Black Out es otro drama más de " thriller & crime ", sin momentos memorables ! .

Le tenía altas expectativas al drama ,pero terminó siendo no memorable .

Al menos esperaba que después de superar todo lo que había pasado en la cárcel , Junwoo sea más rudo y activo en la búsqueda de justicia por su cuenta . Pero él seguía sintiendo pena por aquellos que lo traicionaron que era gente sin escrúpulos que arruinaron su vida y no merecían su empatía .

Además que el detective tenía más protagonismo en resolver el caso ,aunque le tomo demasiado tiempo .

Otro punto es la actitud de la madre, es que no me puedo creer que no haya ido ni una vez a visitar a su hijo ,al menos debía confiar en como era y si antes no mostró actitudes agresivas ¿ Por qué mataría a su enamorada y a su mejor amiga ?? Luego cuando supo todo solo le dice que lo supere y sigan adelante .Todo bien pero al menos pídele perdón ?

Ni hablar de los demás personajes , todos confabulados y ninguno era de confiar solo buscaban sus propios intereses, el tío resultó bien manipulador , es que ya desde el ep 1 fue sospechosa su manera de llevar el caso . Lo que es poco creíble es que en todos esos años no se haya dado cuenta del lugar secreto de Su o y lo que había allí !

En fin , si desean ver algo que los enganche de principio hasta el final con buenos plot twist y un protagonista que no le tenga miedo a nada , definitivamente BLACK OUT NO ES EL DRAMA que yo recomendaría .

Lo complicado de llevar el trope omegaverse a las series

Hablemos de Pitbabe The Series. Primero que nada, viendo desde la perspectiva de una gran mayoría, entiendo que les parezca "la mejor serie del año" y mucho más por la película que sacaron hace un mes (es un resumen de la serie pero con escenas eliminadas), las NC scenes le subió el hype un montón.
No creo realmente que nos hayan "robado". En realidad hasta sentí un poco vacía la serie por la falta de explicación ya que mucha gente no sabe que es el omegaverse, nunca se entendía qué era tal personaje secundario pero importante para la serie, la historia detrás de los personajes principales hasta del villano de la serie... Vos te quedabas a ver por ver nomás sin saber nada, "seguro pasando los capítulos saldrá algo", salieron alguna que otra cosa pero tampoco se entendió por qué Tony empezó a hacer tráficante de humanos "especiales", cómo es que Tony simplemente sabe que los niños que "cria" son alfa, enigma, omega o betta?, cómo es que way y babe se conocieron como para que hasta antes de eso way ya haya tenido una obsesión con babe, obvio por culpa de Tony pero cómo, simplemente lo mandó a buscar sabiendo cada paso y respiración que daba babe? Me pareció un poco ridículo Tony porque literal, si ya hasta mandó a way y sabía que tenía que hacer por qué nunca se salió con la suya??? Tony encerio es un villano mal escrito. También te quedas pensado mucho en qué pasa con charlie y Jeff, cómo es que simplemente se sacó la conclusión de que Jeff es omega o enigma si nunca dijo nada, no se presentó ?? Se quedan encerio muchas cosas vacías hasta una de las cosas importantes que según recuerde del omegaverse... Cómo también no reconocen entre ellos quien es alfa, enigma o omega si con Alan te das cuenta de que obvio que reconocen, pero babe se sorprende demasiado con que pete sea enigma o que directo en la primera escena de la serie, le pregunte a charlie qué es cuando Alan desde al segundo de conocer a jeff te das cuenta de que ya sabe que es?
Pitbabe me pareció una buena serie, me gustó mientras pasaba los capítulos pero tardó un tiempo en convencerme, más por lo del omegaverse porque encerio me dejó mucho vacío. Supongo que fue para agregar más escenas NC a la serie, que sentí que no hacía falta tantas escenas así, un ejemplo de ello es la historia de Alan y jeff, ya que ni hablar de charlie y babe y sus intimaciones profundas. El omegaverse como tema es un poco muy cargoso porque se tiene que explicar todo desde cero, ya que no hay mucha inmersión en este tipo de conceptos y para adaptarlos a una serie se puede poner difícil la situación, más por como realmente se tienen que seguir x reglas de ello para que se entienda bien y Pitbabe no es el mejor ejemplo, ya que con dije, se quedó mucho vacío. Primero porque en ese universo la gente ya nace con su don pero ¿La mayoría no sabe? y nunca termina por hacer crecer su don pensando que son "alfas" o otro tipo de personaje "normal" en ese mundo y solamente tony hacia que los niños traten de entrenar esos dones por lo que es la unica forma en la que se dan cuenta, al parecer, asi que ahí fue donde ya medio cayó mal la historia de pitbabe the series. Te das cuenta de eso cuando por ejemplo, Jeff está teniendo una premonición por lo de su don de ver el futuro y Alan simplemente se queda ahí preguntando que le pasa y por qué, si literal debería de saber ya que él es parte de ese universo donde casi todos nacen con dones y deberían de reconocer eso igual si no lo entrenan pero Alan solo queda ahí sin saber que le pasa a Jeff.
Tampoco entendí por qué Tony tiene tanta obsesión con charlie si literal este nunca le mostró su don, lo hizo sentir inútil y todo por eso pero nunca nos mostraron una razón real como para que él quiera quedarse SI O SI con charlie ya que prácticamente no le servía ni para venderlo o como para entrenarlo, porque no mostraba lo que tenía y él no lo sabía, lo de Jeff se enteró casi a finales de capítulos y todo. Te voy a hasta entender que entre los capítulos finales recién tenga esa obsesión con charlie de regresar "a casa" porque ahí también es donde se entera por way de que charlie si tiene poderes y es uno de los alfas más especiales de ese universo, pero este ya venia con la obsesión desde que comenzó la serie.
Es encerio muy complicado todo lo que es el omegaverse para integrarlo en una serie y esta serie dejó tanto afuera que ojalá expliquen un poco de trasfondo en pitbabe 2 para así completar bien la historia y tener trama que seguir para una serie que a mi parecer no le veía segunda temporada, pero como va a tener y está confirmado, por favor que el detalle se vaya mas para la historia y no solo pars las escenas NC.
Bueno. Hablemos de los protas y demás porque me pasé hablando de como el omegaverse es un trope complicado de llevar y de como tony es una mierda. Así que veamos.
Pitbabe. Hay que destacar un montón el gran trabajo que hizo Pavel para realizar a babe en esta serie, las expresiones, emociones, diálogos y todo lo hizo de manera correcta haciéndote sentir al personaje. Me encantó personalmente como este adaptaba de la mejor manera la relación que tenía con Charlie desde el momento cero y como iba cambiando de a poco con respecto a eso. Dirigiendome más a lo explosivo que era babe para todo y todos, ya que bueno babe obviamente no era el personaje mas estable mentalmente de todos, ese título es para alan chicos, claro que te das cuenta de eso pero es obvio la costumbre que pitbabe ya le tiene a sus situaciones de vida y trata de mantenerse con calma pero de todo le pasa lo que hace que explote, pero imagina, que aparezca alguien que lo saque de costumbre. Desde Charlie, ahi ya se va notando como babe empezaba a cambiar y a explotar mas por no querer dejar pasar ls situación cada vez más profunda con Charlie, por no entender que hay alguien que puede leerle y puede has comoarsisquedarse encerio con él. Me encantó como hizo todo, como te hace ver los cambios y las emociones que siente por todo lo que sucede con charlie, te hace sentir que estás también dentro de la cabeza del personaje y sinceramente Pavel es un gran actor, lo adoré.
Charlie. Siento que muchas personas piensan lo mismo de Charlie y de quién realizó el personaje, Pooh. Pero luego de leer varios reviews de Pitbabe the series me decepcioné por como hablaban hasta del actor y no solo del personaje. Primero que nada, no es necesario que un alfa sea la cosa más gigante del mundo, no tiene que ser un físico culturista y no tiene que tener una personalidad horriblemente dominante y fría para que decidan que es un alfa, ya que el "alfa" en el omegaverse suele tener más como característica principal la dominancia y el olor fuerte de sus feromonas que otra cosa, porque estos pueden llegar a ser grandes en otros aspectos no solo en lo físico, que siempre los dibujen de tal manera es solo el estándar de si es fuerte y escucha así es porque tiene que verse también así pero como dije, no es necesario hacer eso. Aunque en la novela charlie si sea el típico alfa que siempre describen, de igual forma sigue sin ser el típico típico alfa porque dentro de la novela el no es la gran cosa, porque tiene la actitud que todos vimos en la serie pero más tonto y menos cute, el tema es que a las personas no es que no les gusta charlie el personaje DE LA SERIE y como lo actuó Pooh, sino que no les gusta que Pooh no sea el tipo por quien babear por el cuerpo que tenga y es bastante decepcionante. Es obvio que iban a cambiar cosas de la novela pero no iban a ser cambios gigantes, sino que cosas que compensen a esos pequeños cambios, como lo es justamente Pooh siendo Charlie en la serie, porque lo que quisieron hacer es vender a un Charlie alfa visto como "débil" por verse pequeño por ser delgado, tierno y distraído con las cosas, cambiando al Charlie enorme pero tarado y pienso que fue un buen trabajo ese cambio para no hacerlo parecer lo que es, alguien que sabe lo que hace y que es dominante. Claro que pienso que la actuación de Pooh fue un poco pobre porque no entendías nada hacerca de sus expresiones o lo que te quería hacer sentir, no entrabas en su cabeza como con babe y fue algo estresante no lograr captar bien la situación por la mala expresión, es su primer trabajo igual y quizá de igual forma se hubiera preparado mejor para escenas donde se requiera demasiada emoción porque Pitbabe the series está cargada de emociones que se tienen que expresar con todo el cuerpo y si tu rostro no ayuda, no se va a entender. Algo que me gustó de Charlie es que en las escenas NC si tenía un aura completamente diferente, así que por eso terminaban siendo muy atractivas esas escenas, también me gustó que Pooh sea quien represente a Charlie, ya que encerio hace parecer lo que no es y después simplemente te sorprende que si tenga buenas características para representar a un alfa aunque "no parezca" uno, es delgado pero con musculatura marcada, grandes hombros y se nota que disfruta mucho ser Charlie, igusl Pooh, mejora tu actuación para Pitbabe 2.
Alan. Mi personajes favorito literal. Me encantó bastante como saylub hizo su trabajo siendo Alan y encerio me gustó toda su presencia, demostración de emociones, sus expresiones, como me llamó la atención desde el principio y su dualidad al estar con Jeff, siento que fue uno de los personajes que más me han gustado por mostrar muy bien la personalidad que tiene y como no solo se basa en ser "aburrido" por ser alguien maduro sino que muestra diferentes facetas por no tener conocimiento de todo y tratar de trabajar en eso principalmente para enamorar a Jeff quien es obvio que cayó desde que se conocieron ys que cómo dije, pudieron reconocer la conexión que iban a tener pero calro que hay que enamorar a uno primero para aceptarlo. Fue súper lindo y pienso que saylub se parece mucho a su personaje.
Way. Amigos, encerio, por qué coño alguien iba a querer que babe se haya quedado con way? Mas mal de la cabeza la gente. Cómo te explico que él es quien además de tener una obsesión manipulada y voluntaria a la vez con babe es quien estuvo con la mente distorsionada durante diez años para devolver a babe con tony y así el ganara dinero con los hijos que way y babe tenga, lo manipuló de 50 formas durante no sé, TODO EL TIEMPO impidiendo que tenga algo con otra persona, haciendo que termine las cosas rápido con otros alfas y haciendo que siempre se quede solo porque la frase que siempre usa para manipularlo con sus dones es "no confíes en nadie, no ames a nadie, la soledad es mucho mejor" ahh pero que babe se enamore de way tiene que ser natural verdad? Super ridículo. Claro que way quiere a babe realmente en el fondo, pero con esa mentalidad tan distorsionada obvio que iba a ser una de las peores cosas que le pasó a babe, hasta un punto en donde babe se da cuenta pero no quiere creerlo ni él mismo. Pienso que supanut hizo un gran trabajo, porque me hizo sentir esa traición y satisfacción a la vez porque desde un principio sabía que él no era la cosa más buena del mundo pero luego está la gente a la que no le entra el personaje bien y dice pelotudeces como "ojalá se hubiera quedado con babe" supongo que tenemos sentido común verdad? Pero bueno, hizo un gran trabajo igual si la gente está loca.
En fin, sigo pensando que la serie aún tiene huecos y ojalá en pitbabe dos rellenen esos huecos, en especial con kenta quien encerio encerio adoré a kenta en todo sentido por ser uno de los personajes más llenos de los cuales quiero saber un montón. No me dejen con la duda sobre kenta.
Me gustó la serie y aunque le de una calificación de tres y media estrellas, es por como no hubo un buen balance para llevar el trope del omegaverse y como se perdieron en los detalles, lo que hizo que tarde en gustarme y convencerme.

otro BL de GMMTv significa tengo pasta para hacer el idiota y tengo actores que podrían hacer cosas decentes pero tengo un guión de mierda.
GMMTv no decepciona para dar cringe en sus bls, lo mires por donde lo mires. No conocía esta pareja y me ha encantado Book pero es que el otro mas soso que un zapato que quiero yo pensar que es por su personaje y en la vida real es algo mejor. Pero aún así ¿quien establece en la GMMTv las parejas? Porque estos dos no tienen química , Book tendría más química con un patata de verdad , en cuanto a tema de romance un menos dieciocho, no había pasión, bueno es que ni romance o un tonteo tonto.
Pero lo peor de todo es como tratan el tema de la violación, tema gravisimo y que lo tratan super a la ligera, rollo, la madre lo sabía , pero oye un lo siento y todos contentos. O sea, es que cuando lo han metido yo estaba expectante porque estaba viendo que la iban a pifiar y asi lo han hecho, han banalizado una violación. Pues nada amigos todo son unas risas si te viola tu padrastro durante tres años. De verdad, que de los peores guiones escritos , te diría de la GMMTv pero es que esos señores se superan asi que a la espera del proximo sustito que nos meten y a ver como balanlizan temas tochos e importantes.

No esta mal....

La serie no esta mal, pero lamentablemente.... no me resulto entretenida.

Los primeros 10 capítulos son bastante lentos y un poco aburridos al menos para mi, eso de ver como se es sometido por los supuestos giros del destino, que están esperando para quitarle el camino hacia la libertad, cuando no es mas que la voluntad de personas egoístas y oportunistas, me suele molestar mucho en los guiones... Pues ese tipo argumentación ya esta bastante desgastado al menos para mi...

Del capitulo 11 al 16, ver como la trama comienza a enredarlos y acercarlos tan fluidamente, estaba dando indicios que algo como un giro inesperado ocurriría, porque en los dramas la armonía no dura para siempre... ademas de una cuestión de números ya que la serie es de 40 capítulos y aquí llegamos casi a la mitad de ellos....

Del17 en adelante no es mas que la biografiá del crecimiento personal del personaje Su Mu Zhe, el cual no me muy pareció entretenido ni perspicaz, sino mas bien de un tono intrigante y para sus adentros...
Las partes del desarrollo y desenlace de las familias Cui y Zheng, fueron bastante repetitivas en cuanto a estrategias y tomo mas tiempo de pantalla del que debería, podrían haber dedicado ese tiempo al desarrollo final de la serie, ya que no aportaban nada nuevo ver lo mismo 2 veces. O a mostrar realmente el arte de la fabricación de joyas, en el cual siento que se podría haber ahondado mas y culturalmente hablando hubiera sido mas enriquecedor.

El vestuario es acorde, nada que destacar.
La música nada memorable.

Me ha gustado mas la actuación de Zhao Lu Si en las series de The Last Immortal y Who Rules the World. Quizas es porque siento que se adapto mejor a ese tipo de personajes.

Empezó bien

Hay quien critica mucho que está sexualizado, supongo que nunca han visto novelas, películas o series anglosajonas , incluso pienso que ellos ya no tienen 18 años ni 21 incluso, sin embargo la mayoría personas de otro fandom los critican por sus escenas de cama, cuando yo solo vi sensualidad, no es explícito aun cuando es clasificación +19, están en una edad en que pueden hacer y actuar lo que gusten , he visto otras BL con contenido más explícito desde el 1er capítulo y nunca lograron despegar, en esta serie las actuaciones son muy buenas, tiene referencias a películas y detalles muy peculiares, algunas a Shakespeare otras a películas de los 90s incluso 80, la verdad siento que la voy a disfrutar

I remember that in Journalism Techniques, one of the Journalism subjects, the teacher told us to write imaginary interviews with personalities from the field of science, culture, art, sports, politics... who, due to various circumstances, could not be interviewed, since whether due to death, distance, etc.
I will try to return to my old classes for this subject.
In the Japanese BL series 'Miseinen Mijukuna Oretachi wa Bukiyo ni Shinkochu', Jin has emerged as a memorable leading character admired by the audience. His identity as a model high school student who has the purpose of living life as a spectator, his melancholic and lonely character, his desire to break molds and get ahead on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance, have captured the attention of viewers, who value their authenticity, talent and bravery.
Motojima Junsei, the actor who plays Minase Jin, has demonstrated a remarkable ability to portray this complex character. At only 19 years old, he has forged a solid career in the television and film fields.
In film he has stood out for playing Ichinose Hotaro / Kamen Rider Gotchard in the 'Kamen Rider Gotchard' universe, while on television he appeared in productions such as 'Hayabusa Shobodan', 'Kamen Rider Geats' and 'Shigatsu no Tokyo wa...'. In the latter, a 2023 BL series, he played the young Yagami Ryunosuke. The actor confesses that all his works have forged his ability to tackle challenging roles with depth and authenticity.
We talked about Jin and the Japanese BL series with Motojima Junsei in an exclusive interview for CinemaBL.
AA— How would you define Jin?
MJ— Jin is originality, love, honesty, magic, light... As an actor, I consider him to be the most beautiful character I have had to play on television so far. He is a model student. Studious. Work hard. His priority is to have his own house and his own car in the future. He knows that the only way to achieve his dreams is to go to a top university. He is fine with his repetitive daily routine of school and studying. He is an honor student who is indifferent to others, and has been living his school life avoiding any interaction with class troublemakers, especially Hirukawa Haruki. Jin is a fascinating young man who takes the viewer from hatred to love and becomes one of the pillars of the plot. Although he projects an image of absolute control over his life and his environment, he hides deep emotions and vulnerabilities.
AA—And Haruki is…?
MJ—Haruki, a character played with high marks by Kamimura Kenshin, a talented actor with solid experience in film and television, is my companion on a journey in which we will both discover and accept our true identity. Jin has been raised to hate people like Haruki. But Haruki, unintentionally, enters her life, which in a way, is perfect. This is the trigger for the series. One day, while Jin is taking a shortcut through a troubled neighborhood to return home, he sees Haruki, his classmate. Since he is not the type of person Jin would mix with, considering him, due to the upbringing received by his absent mother, the type of individual who grows up to become a criminal, Jin tries to continue on his way, until he discovers that Haruki is receiving a beating from his father.
"Something in Jin tells him that this is not his problem, that he should have nothing to do with Haruki. But at the same time a voice inside him screams that it is inevitable that their paths will cross... I would say that feeling of boredom that Jin has, it is Haruki who needs to get rid of him. Finally, they begin to relate.
AA— Why do you think the public begins to empathize with Haruki and stop seeing him as the villain of the story?
MJ— Haruki's character grows from the connection with Jin. In truth, they both grow as people. Both Haruki and Jin, who has the best values in the series, let go of the anti-values they carry and incorporate new, very positive values. When Haruki is around Jin he becomes a different person. He is talkative, attentive, talks about his taste in movies, shares secrets never revealed to others about what he likes or doesn't like about movies, about his life... Jin's father is a film director. This connects you even more by having another topic of conversation.
"Haruki is always prepared to give Jin his world. He cannot contain what boils in him, what overflows him, but everything will be step by step until he gets rid of the mists of doubt about the unknown, from fear of family, to school, to society in general that tells you that loving a person of the same gender is not correct, it is prohibited, it is illegal. Step by step, it will be like that, until the paths converge. Deep down, they are very similar. After discovering the secret of Haruki, the two quickly become intimate. This relationship, sad but beautiful, is what the series narrates."
AA— What strikes Jin about Haruki?
MJ— His vulnerability, his true “self,” so different from how he had represented it in his head. After witnessing the domestic violence carried out by his father, Jin manages to understand that the bruises on his face are not from the fights that he considered would cause them. As he tries to walk away, from his mind he cannot get the image of the Haruki he saw, so different from the one at school... Haruki is truly, like him, a tender, lonely and lost boy. They both come from different origins. Both had different types of education or upbringing. On the other hand, Haruki suffers from the marginalization to which he is subjected by his fellow students due to his reputation as a violent boy, his attitude of rebellion and disobedience towards teachers...
AA— In your opinion, what is the message that is transmitted to the viewer through this character?
MJ— Before answering that question, let me tell you that the events narrated in the webtoon "Our Youth", by Hi Nun, the original manhwa and which the series adapts for television, take place in South Korea between 2009 and 2014. In 'Miseinen Mijukuna Oretachi wa Bukiyo ni Shinkochu' is set, of course, in Japan and in 2018. Multiple details were changed slightly to match with Japanese reality, but ultimately the series captures the spirit of the original work, which is the romance of two teenagers set in a country where youth is marked by violence and loneliness, while, figuratively speaking, everyone They float in a rough sea where no one expects them to engage with each other.
"Now, my message with Jin is that a better world is possible, where people are respected and each person's sexual preference is not an important factor. Sexual preference is a personal issue that only concerns the person and not He should belittle or devalue anyone, much less humiliate. His sexual identity does not define his personality; what really define Jin is his values and feelings.
"I would like the public to reflect that sexual preference should not be a reason for humiliation, mistreatment or exclusion. People should be valued for their human quality, which is the most important thing. I think these stories should be represented more on television, although it will not be an easy battle, since Japanese youth have lived for decades in a society guided by homophobia, patriarchy and heteronormativity. However, as these stories are incorporated into the media and our culture, the japanese will leave becoming familiar with them, as long as they are given the right treatment. A change is needed because the world needs to be better and people need to love and respect each other.
The series seeks to demonstrate that while some people can overcome their suffering and move forward in life, others allow themselves to be consumed by it."
AA— How much did the character of Haruki contribute to the realization of your role?
MJ— Working with Kenshin was wonderful. He is an actor who offers all his knowledge. He is attentive and takes care of all the details of his performance and that of others. He is very protective of everyone around him. Sharing a scene with him was very comfortable. There were never any problems or disagreements between us.
"Whenever we could contribute something to the characters we did it, we sat down and tried to explain the reasons for Jin's rejection of Haruki when he tried to kiss him, his love for Jin, his father's abuse... which undoubtedly made our performances much more convincing. We did the casting together, but we already knew each other through mutual friends who introduced us at one of their performances with the vocal dance group "One N' Only", to which Kenshin belongs. And then we met in the premiere of the BL series 'Ossan's Love Returns', in January of this year, in which he plays Hao, one of the secondary characters. We have been friends since then, since before filming began. This has also served to enhance the chemistry, the close bond established between the two."
We left the conversation for a few moments. You cannot not answer the incoming call. I turn off my phone, while I hear, nearby, the voice of Motojima Junsei who, from his phone, agrees with a producer to finalize details to star in another BL series.
This is the moment when I let my thoughts escape: Where, if not from love, do those kisses come from that one tries to steal from the other? At what moments do their words and laughter grant us their elf? Where, if not from love, do doubts emerge, the confusion of one feeling rejected, but not despised, by the other? Where, if not from love, is the hurried heartbeat, as if it wanted to escape from the chest of the one who rejected the kisses? Where do they come from, if not from love, those ideas that vividly express that one cannot live away from the other, no matter how much one tries to keep the walls around him high?
Laughing, he returns to his solid armchair in front of me. We continue:
AA— How has the public reception been? Have you received any feedback that surprised you?
MJ— I remember that, while I was recording the series, I was talking with my friends, and one of them told me: "You know that there will be many people who will love you and many people who will hate you, who will make war on you." I answered yes, that I was prepared for that and that I wanted to play the character. I was aware that this could happen.
"Really, the response from the public has been, for me, surprising, with a capital letter. I never imagined that Jin would receive so many acceptances, and I am very happy about it. The message I wanted to convey has arrived. People have stopped seeing a boy in love with another boy to begin to see a man with an immense inner world and enviable human qualities. This has surprised me and made me very happy and I hope that, throughout the series, this perception will change keep.
"On the other hand, making harassment visible is important. It is necessary to promote a culture of peaceful coexistence and respect for diversity in all its expressions: sexual identity, origin, skin color, social status, physical and intellectual abilities, ideology... "
AA—In terms of the evolution of the character, what can we expect from Jin in the next episodes?
MJ— As for the next chapters and Jin's evolution, I can't tell you much, because otherwise Shibata Keisuke and Makino Masaru, the directors, will gut me. Ha ha ha. I can tell you about both of them that they fight against harassment and bullying, a complex phenomenon that affects emotional and academic well-being at all levels of education and throughout society. About the character, I can only say that he is not going to disappoint the audience. Jin will remain true to himself. That's all I can say.
AA—Finally, how would you describe the current and future state of Japanese BL series?
MJ— “Boys’ Love” is in good health. The genre has captured the hearts of millions of fans around the world. It quickly jumped from the initial Japanese manga and anime to dozens of annual series and films. Not only in Japan. Other Asian countries, such as Thailand, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, South Korea, the Philippines, among others, film productions of this content. The proliferation of the genre has given rise to a rich and diverse range of productions that celebrate love. It is a phenomenon that combines romance, drama and culture in a unique and charming way.
"But what is fundamental is their cultural and social impact. BL series not only offer entertainment; they also play a crucial role in the visibility and acceptance of LGBT+ relationships in Japan and throughout Asia. By portraying stories of love and struggle that resonate with For many people, these series foster greater understanding and empathy towards sexual and gender diversity. In addition, BL has created a global community of fans who manage to connect and share their love for these stories, breaking cultural and geographical barriers.
"Or at least that's how I understand it. One more step towards diversity and hopefully, these stories will be standardized in the rest of the markets."
While, already at home, days later, I watch the next episode of the series, I think about the last words of Motojima Junsei: "BL series provoke a kind of enchantment in millions of human beings in the world. It is as if the director, screenwriters, actors and others involved, like magicians, will pronounce a magical spell that encourages the majority to entertain, to fight for the rights of LGBT+ people.

Tenia años sin reírme tanto con un drama....

Tenia años sin reírme tanto... y sin llorar con un drama. Al principio no estaba muy convencida, los actores no me parecían muy atractivos y hay que admitirlo, muchas veces es la principal razón por la cual vemos un drama, por que la protagonista es super linda o el protagonista es de en sueño. PERO debo confesar que soy fan de este tipo de temática: cambio de cuerpo, cambio de tiempo-espacio o viajes en el tiempo, algo que sea fuera de lo normal y que se preste para situaciones de comedia.

El drama me atrapo, termine amando a la protagonista, y aunque definitivamente se pudo aprovechar mucho mejor y hubo momentos en que no tenia mucho sentido el plot, hay que pensar que... ESTAN CAMBIANDO DE CUERPO!!! ¿Por que lo demás tendría sentido?

El plot twist del villano me sorprendió, no lo venia venir, la temática de los crímenes mantiene el drama interesante, y el desarrollo de la protagonista es bueno, me pareció un personaje muy maduro y directo el cual disfrute mucho de acompañar durante el desarrollo de la historia.

¿Se los recomiendo? SI, es diferente, es divertido, ¡¡Y AME LA CANCION DEL OPENING!! Que también fue utilizada en situaciones chistosas, cada que empezaba me hacia reír.

Weak conflict that does not serve as a solid argument for a story of false courtship

'Single All the Way' (2021) is an American film directed by Michael Mayer and starring a couple of two gay boys – Peter (Michael Urie) and Nick (Philemon Chambers). Peter, desperately seeking to avoid his family's judgment given his eternally single status, convinces his best friend Nick to pretend that they are in a relationship and accompany him during the Christmas festivities.
For its part, 'The Proposal' (2009), an American film directed by Anne Fletcher and scripted by Peter Chiarelli, tells the story of Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock), a Canadian editor-in-chief of a large publishing house in New York, who that no one at work can stand her. A problem that grows because you need to have a VISA to remain in the United States. For this reason, she decides to ask her assistant Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds) to marry her to achieve this (manipulating him with the idea that she will publish the book he wants).
In the South Korean BL series 'Nobleman Ryu's Wedding' there is not a courtship, but a fake marriage. In place of the beautiful bride, who disappeared the day before the wedding due to her hatred for political marriages, Ryu Ho Seon marries Choi Hwa Jin, her brother. The deceived nobleman tries to reverse the marriage, but ends up accepting his "wife's" proposal to wait a few days until the lost young woman reappears and she takes her place without anyone suspecting, thereby avoiding a scandal that could be the ruin of the two families.
Of course, in these two films and the series, farce will give way to true love.
These are solid arguments why these people have to, at their convenience, fake a fake romance. These are three of the many examples of stories that share this premise. They are valid to present my points of view that I will explain later.
After directing 'Battle of the Writers', 'To Be Continued', 'Naughty Babe' and 'Friend Forever', Klaryder Nathawat Piyanonpong, a Thai director with more mistakes than successes in his work, returns to the screens with the series 'Your Sky', the adaptation of a romantic comedy of the same name that, with a script by Wannapa Lertkultanon ('Bed Friend'), and Jungjing Wanna Kortunyavat ('I Feel You Linger in the Air'), tells us a story of false courtship.
The premise of 'Your Sky' isn't really original. Teerak Rak Niran, played by Kong Kongpob Jirojmontri, in his first leading role, and known for appearing in a supporting role in 'Naughty Babe', is a naive first-year university student. Oh (Mike Chinnarat Siriphongchawalit) pursues Teerak with the hope that he will agree to be her boyfriend and will not hesitate to use even deception to achieve it.
To prevent this from happening, Teerak relies on his inseparable friends Type (Patji Jirachart Buspavanich), PunLee (By Suppakarn Jirachotikul) and Joy (In Inthira Sae-sieo).
But through a ruse, Oh manages to deceive Teerak and two of his loyal followers. Then, to the viewer's delight, fate intervenes, and Muenfah, a character played by Thomas Teetut Chungmanirat, comes into action, also in his first leading role after playing secondary characters in several BL, such as 'Bed Friend' and 'The Middleman's Love'. The actor plays PunLee's older brother and a popular senior on campus.
The two young people will make the decision to pretend to be a couple to stop Oh's machinations. Teerak and Muenfah will live a story about a fake love that could lead to something real and genuine between two opposites who, although they don't want it, attract each other. Does it sound familiar to you?
What begins as a fake love could become a great couple when they have to pretend in front of family, friends and, above all, Oh, until they realize that they have more in common than they thought, as reflected in the synopsis.
Time together will make them see that, although it may not seem like it, they are made for each other.
I must confess that, while I did not advance more than 10 minutes into the first episode of 'Battle of the Writers', 'Naughty Babe' and 'Friend Forever', and 'To Be Continued' was a great disappointment for me as the series avoids addressing the internalized homophobia suffered by one of its protagonists and in this way resorts to an easy way to avoid the problems of self-understanding and self-acceptance of the character's homosexuality, I enjoy 'Your Sky', even being too simple to make a lasting impression.
Now, there are some issues that do not convince me about the premise of the series.
Oh is shown to be a gallant and kind young college student to both Teerak and the rest of the students. Apparently, he enjoys prestige, has the respect and admiration of friends and fellow students. He has public meetings with Teerak and in spaces where only the two of them meet, such as the locker room in the university bathrooms. At no time does he show signs of being possessive, violent, irritable... He smiles friendly while looking into the eyes of his interlocutor. Evidence empathy and kindness. So,
-What reasons do Teerak's sister and friends have for demonizing Oh, declaring him "untrustworthy" and trying to prevent them from even talking to each other in public places?
- Could you foresee that Oh has a hidden agenda to cause harm to Teerak?
-If they have prior knowledge of machinations on Oh's part to deceive Teerak and cause him harm, why have they not reported it to the relevant authorities?
- How can an attentive, gallant young man who gives flowers and chocolates to his lover in a plan of conquest in one scene, in the next scene, be able to use deception to get Teerak and two of his friends drunk to offend him?
- And now, after knowing that Teerak and Muenfah are dating, will Oh deny it and continue her attempts to conquer him?
- On the other hand, everything seems to indicate, from his actions/reactions, that Muenfah is in love. If so, why not confess your feelings? Why use a false courtship to approach him?
- This weak conflict could very well be solved not with a false courtship, but with Teerak telling Oh that he sees him as a friend and not a boyfriend. If, because you are so naive and shy, you don't dare to tell him face to face, you can very well use a text message, smoke signals, and even carrier pigeons. But I suggest you do it like anyone does today: looking him in the eyes and saying it at point-blank range.
True or not, dear reader?
Something just doesn't convince me here. The reason why the two protagonists have to fake a romance is forced. The creators could have been more coherent and designed another scenario and other reasons to justify the procedure.
Although it is full of clichés and does not present great incentives, the first episode showed that the public can expect candid moments from the story of Teerak and Muenfah that manage to bring a knowing smile to the viewer. The series is worth watching if only to see Teerak's silly, naive laugh and the attractive actors who play Muenfah, Real and PunLee.
The forced plot does not take away from the magic of a leading couple, which has good chemistry.
Furthermore, the series tries to provide an easy answer to the most hackneyed question of all time: Can love be born from lies?
In parallel, the series tells the story of a second BL couple, that of Real (Auau Thanaphum Sestasittikul) and Hia (Save Worapong Walor). Both also rock the role of secondary couple. They really catch my attention. Very good chemistry. The dynamic of a boy in love with his best friend and a boy who doesn't know anything is cute. It is a relationship that begins to form and flourish along with the main one. The production company should give the actors the opportunity to be the main couple in another dramatized boys love in the future.
And while the story of Real and Hia the second was developing, a new secondary couple belatedly appears, made up of Punlee and Chlaijai (TeeTee Wanpichit Nimitparkpoon), his college classmate. In fact, everything indicates that this couple was not initially conceived, since this last actor, in his artistic debut, but known as a competitor in the role model contest for young people "To Be Number One Idol 12" does not appear in the credits until the fifth episode, and does not appear on screen until episode 8.
These secondary stories are important: while the main protagonists will be chaotic, carry the weight of the plot and have the maximum focus of the viewer's attention, the secondary ones will give us some calm with their cute and passionate romance.
But I personally think Auau and Save, and Punlee and Chlaijai having less screen time than the main couple benefits the series as a whole more, because they get the most out of their scenes. Especially this last couple for emerging almost at the end of the series. Sometimes showing less will make one pay more attention to the few scenes shown, if they are carefully thought out and executed. Their performances make me love the series in general.
Something that also catches my attention, both in this and other Thai BL series, is that most of the characters are either queer or allies. That in a Thai university, a country that, despite its growing openness towards LGBT+ issues in recent years, continues to deny the right to equal marriage at a time when the series was filmed, and does not yet have a government policy to protect homosexuals, lesbians and other people from said community of harassment and discrimination, and there is not a single harassing student or teacher, nor a single homophobe (who serves as a denunciation of discrimination and homophobia), is something truly suspicious.
Seeing Teerak's father watching a BL series on his mobile phone, even ignoring that his son is a queer young man, inquiring about these types of television products and then rejecting his son's homosexual relationship, is something illusory, beyond a truth: in Thailand, as in any other heteronormative and patriarchal society, there are parents who respect their children's right to love whoever they want.
In this sense, as I enjoyed series like the British 'Heartstopper', based on the four-volume graphic novel by Alice Oseman, for its realism, in which Charlie Spring (Joe Lock) and Nick Nelson (Kit Connor), who have a beautiful and supportive group of queer friends, they fight homophobes daily, even if they are members of their own family. And this is happening in Britain, a country much more open to LGBT+ relationships than Thailand.
Surely some will say that this is a BL and they are not interested in it being realistic or lacking the truth, and its light and sweet tone is enough that if I want to watch dramas I would go somewhere else.
The tone of the story is rounded out by a luxury cast that elevates the dramatic and comic moments of 'Your Sky'.
Duu Sanya Kunakorn ('Good Doctor', 2024) plays Teerak's father, a man who intensely loves his son and his sister, Babe (Morakot Liu). Chumpanee Sopitnapa ('Luead Khon Kon Jang', 2018) is Teerak's mother here, a woman who pampers her youngest son. Tanthasatien Pol ('Lord Lai Mungkorn', 2006), and Koy Narumon Phongsupap ('Only Boo!', 2024), play Muenfah's parents; Phiao Duangjai Hiransri ('#HATETAG', 2021) steps into the shoes of Oh's mother, a manipulative woman who will take advantage of her social position and influence to ally herself with her son and try to take revenge on Muenfah for "having stolen her boyfriend." Oh", and Tonnam Piamchon Damrongsunthornchai ('Make Money', 2020), plays Dom, Babe's loving boyfriend.
All of them, and other talented actors and actresses, seek, together with the protagonists, to develop an imperfect story that continues an important path in favor of representation and diversity.
