Jackie Chan movie… of course here I come… haha

The story begins when international action star Jackie Chan is invited to attend a special adoption ceremony at a wildlife reserve. There, he becomes the adoptive guardian of a rare giant panda cub named Hu Hu, whose unusual appearance and exceptional genetic traits make him famous around the world. While Jackie simply wants to enjoy his time with the lovable panda, Hu Hu's popularity also attracts the attention of a ruthless international crime syndicate.

The situation quickly takes a chaotic turn when the crime syndicate tries to collect a massive $100 million bounty placed on Hu Hu by a wealthy Middle Eastern sheikh, and a heavily armed team of international mercenaries storms the park to kidnap the cub. Suddenly, Jackie finds himself trapped in a real-life action movie—only this time, there are no directors, special effects, or stunt doubles to save the day.

To protect the defenseless panda, Jackie teams up with his cowardly but well-meaning talent agent, David, and Hu Hu's fiercely dedicated caretaker, Su Xiaozhu. Together, this unlikely trio must rely on their wits, the environment around them, and Jackie's signature improvised kung fu skills to outsmart the high-tech mercenaries and keep Hu Hu safe.

So, how does the story end? Will Jackie Chan succeed in saving Hu Hu from the bad guys, just like he does in his movies? Or will the syndicate ultimately succeed in snatching Hu Hu and claim their prize?

That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers.

This film reminds us that Jackie Chan is getting older. Jackie Chan’s action may be slower now, but his spirit, his comedy remains unchanged. I really like how he kinda changed his action movie to a more gentler one…

If you're a fan of Jackie Chan. This is a must watch…

A Quiet Masterpiece That Stays With You

Notes from the Last Row is one of those rare dramas that doesn't rely on grand twists or exaggerated emotions to leave a lasting impression. Instead, it finds beauty in silence, subtle character interactions, and the emotions hidden between the lines.
The pacing is deliberately slow, but every scene feels purposeful. Rather than rushing the story, the drama allows its characters to grow naturally, making their relationships feel authentic and deeply human. The writing is thoughtful, trusting the audience to understand what isn't explicitly said.
The performances are exceptional across the board. The cast brings warmth and sincerity to their roles, creating characters who feel real, flawed, and easy to care about. Even the smallest moments carry emotional weight thanks to the nuanced acting.
Visually, the drama is beautiful. The cinematography captures everyday settings with remarkable elegance, while the soundtrack complements the atmosphere without ever overpowering it. Together, they create a comforting yet bittersweet mood that lingers long after each episode ends.
This isn't a drama for viewers looking for constant excitement or dramatic plot twists. It's for those who appreciate character-driven storytelling, quiet emotions, and meaningful conversations. If you enjoy stories that celebrate ordinary moments and remind us that small connections can have the greatest impact, this drama is absolutely worth watching.

10/10 The Strength of Notes from the Last Row

10/10 The Strength of Notes from the Last Row
Notes from the Last Row is good because it combines psychological tension, mystery, and strong character development in a way that keeps viewers constantly questioning what is real and what is not. The drama builds suspense gradually, features excellent acting, and explores complex themes such as obsession, ambition, and manipulation. Rather than relying on action, it creates excitement through mind games, emotional depth, and unexpected twists, making it an engaging watch for fans of intelligent thrillers.

Masterpiece of Excellence

First: I do not like history dramas and I deliberately avoid them unless the comedy and/or time slip are notoriously very good - which very rarely happens. Consequently I was very skeptical and expected to rashly drop this series. Fortunately, the historical part is kept at a few percent and it serves only as pretext for some comedy, motivation and tension creating moments. That is ok especially because everything else hits the highest levels of excellence.
We assist to

A FESTIVAL of Im Ji Yoen

who acts and looks like a cinema goddess at each very moment of the 14 episodes.
The writing, camera, direction and music genially support her.
Unlike in other series, the other actors kept the level.

Many trops of the K-drama are here, though we also have several strong women
and a few beautiful side stories that are out of the k-drama standard,
explaining the disdain of the purists that wish only the same old crap again and again.

I rarely feel the need to watch a series immediately after finishing it, but this made me feel like it.

It is a masterpiece of excellence, you should not miss it:
500% worth its watching time.

Deep In is shaping up to be something genuinely special, at least that’s what I think

It’s been a while since I last reviewed a series, but I just couldn’t not write something about Deep In.

Going into it, I already knew it was going to be angsty, and so far that comes from the emotional tension created by the way the story layers reality and performance, and how quickly those boundaries begin to blur. After episode three, it’s safe to say this is shaping up to be something really special.

The layered premise of actors playing actors in a drama also called Deep In sounds like it could easily get confusing, but instead it feels intentional and very well handled. Everything feels connected, with no scene feeling random or out of place.

What stands out most so far is how cohesive everything feels. The cinematography, acting, and direction all feel like they are working toward the same goal, which makes it very immersive.

The acting in particular does not feel like acting. It feels lived in, which makes it easy to stay fully engaged.

It’s still early to give a definite overview on the series, so I am not forming a final opinion yet, but so far it is shaping up to be something very compelling, and I am hoping it keeps this momentum.

50/50

The absolute saving grace of this film is its cast. The actors deliver raw, powerhouse performances
While the execution is brilliant, the story itself is incredibly heavy and, at times, deeply troubling. The narrative hinges on a core act of betrayal—one that is so malicious, and devastating that it crosses a line into being completely unforgivable.

Plot/Story: 3.0/10 (Ethically backward and frustratingly manipulative)
Acting/Cast: 9/10 (Phenomenal, award-worthy performances)
Overall Value: 4/10

Loved 2nd couple ???

even though the story centers on Tong Yao and Lu Sicheng. The main romance is very much a classic “cold captain + sunshine rookie” setup, with steady development built around esports competition, trust, and slow-burn affection. But the second couple tends to stand out because their emotional arc feels more unpredictable and textured.

The second couple—Ji Yang and Xiao Pang (and in some interpretations also related side pairings within the team dynamic)—brings a different energy. Their relationship isn’t as polished or as structurally central, so it feels more spontaneous and emotionally raw. Where the main couple often has a “boss-level competence + protective admiration” dynamic, the second couple shows more vulnerability, hesitation, and awkward sincerity. That makes their interactions feel more grounded and relatable, especially for viewers who prefer messy, realistic emotions over idealized romance.

Another reason many people gravitate toward them is pacing. The main couple’s romance is tightly woven into the esports plot, which means it progresses steadily but sometimes feels restrained by competition arcs and team strategy. The second couple, however, often gets shorter, more concentrated emotional moments. That compression makes each scene hit harder—small gestures, misunderstandings, and reconciliations carry more weight.

There’s also the ensemble chemistry factor. The team environment in Falling Into Your Smile is strong, and the second couple benefits from being embedded in that friend-group energy. Their story doesn’t feel isolated; it feels like part of a living ecosystem of friendships, rivalries, and shared victories.

Ultimately, liking the second couple more doesn’t mean the main romance is weak—it just means the drama successfully built multiple emotional entry points. Different viewers latch onto different tones, and the second couple offers a more fragile, unpredictable kind of love that resonates deeply with many fans.

This is how you write a BL story. Fucking Top-notch

Seriously if there was BL series or movie library like oscar has, i would have voted this drama to be hall of fame. Damn, what a realistic drama. Seriously i was tired of this fantasy drama, straight turning into gay ( almost impossible things), all your university friends u meet during your class are gay, nowadays red flag or black series. Among all these is drama hold the actual reality of relationship and love. I love how both them know their sexuality and with whom they fall in love. Those jealousy moments, doubt, similar to our life. And thanks for showing how miscommunication can create issues in relationship. Thats why we need to share what we feel. Story is top-notch. I would give this drama ♾️. Acting is best, no dull moments, direction, is fucking great. In the ocean of shitty bl series this is shinning like beacon of hope. Seriously i wanna fall in love like this. Give a shot and u guys will love this series.

⭐ A Drama I Didn’t Expect to Love This Much ⭐

I started watching The First Jasmine without knowing anything about the novel 📖

No spoilers. No expectations. No reading comments beforehand. No comparing scenes with the source material. I simply started because the synopsis looked interesting and I thought I would just enjoy the ride 🌸

And now after finishing it… I can honestly say this became one of my favorite drama experiences 🥹🤍

Before starting, I already knew I wasn’t watching for romance.

I’m not really someone who watches dramas mainly for romantic moments (maybe because I’m still single 😭), so I never expected myself to become emotionally attached to this story.

But this drama surprised me in the best way ✨

Because for me, this was never only about romance.

It felt like a story about people carrying pain, making difficult choices, healing slowly, trusting again, and finding someone who understands them without needing too many words 🤍

That’s what made this drama feel different 🌙

One thing I appreciated immediately was that the story respected the audience.

It didn’t constantly explain every emotion loudly.

Sometimes characters stayed silent.

Sometimes expressions said more than dialogue.

Sometimes scenes felt calm but carried so much meaning 🥹

Those small moments made me connect to the story more.

And because of that, every episode felt easy to continue 🤍

I never watched thinking, “I just want to skip to romantic scenes.”

I genuinely wanted to know what would happen next.

I wanted to see characters grow 🌱

I wanted to understand their choices.

I wanted to see relationships slowly change.

That feeling stayed until the end ✨

Now let’s talk about Ye Li 🤍

She easily became one of my favorite female leads 👑

What I liked most is that she never felt written only to support another character.

She had her own thoughts.

Her own decisions.

Her own emotions.

Her own struggles.

She wasn’t loud but she also wasn’t passive.

She wasn’t cold but she also wasn’t overly emotional.

She felt balanced ✨

Strong when she needed to be.

Soft when moments allowed her to be.

Watching her move through situations calmly while carrying so much internally made her feel human 🥹

And Bai Lu honestly did an amazing job 👏✨

This role relied a lot on expressions and quiet acting rather than exaggerated emotional scenes.

A small smile.

A pause.

A change in expression.

Little details like that made many scenes stronger 🤍

You could understand what she felt even when she didn’t say everything directly.

That kind of performance always leaves a bigger impression on me 🌸

Now Mo Xiuyao… 🤍

At first, I thought I would like Ye Li more.

But slowly I became attached to him too 🥹

His character felt reserved yet emotional in ways that weren’t obvious immediately.

There were moments where he seemed distant, moments where he seemed guarded, but as the story continued I started understanding him more.

And that’s something I appreciated ✨

His growth didn’t feel forced.

It happened naturally.

He slowly opened himself up.

He slowly trusted.

He slowly became warmer 🤍

That made his character satisfying to watch 🌙

But the real reason this drama became special for me was because of Mo Xiuyao and Ye Li together 🥹🤍

Not because they constantly had romantic scenes.

Not because of fanservice.

Not because of dramatic declarations.

But because they felt peaceful.

They felt like two people who understood each other.

They respected each other.

They listened.

They supported each other.

And most importantly—

they healed each other 🤍✨

That dynamic stayed with me more than any romantic moment.

Their relationship never felt like one person saving the other.

It felt equal.

Like both people carried pain.

Like both people slowly found comfort.

Like both people became stronger because the other existed 🌸

That’s the type of relationship I enjoy watching.

The quiet kind.

The mature kind.

The type that doesn’t need endless dramatic scenes to feel meaningful 🕊️

I also loved that this drama wasn’t in a rush.

Relationships changed gradually.

Trust developed naturally.

Emotional moments felt earned.

That made scenes hit harder because I actually cared 🥹

Another thing I noticed while watching—

I never felt exhausted.

Some dramas start strong and then become repetitive.

But here I stayed interested 🤍

Every episode gave me enough reason to continue.

Even emotional scenes didn’t feel overly heavy.

The balance worked for me ✨

And maybe this opinion became stronger because I didn’t read the novel 📖

I wasn’t waiting for specific scenes.

I wasn’t comparing details.

I just watched the drama as its own story.

And I think that helped me enjoy it more 🌸

I know not everyone will feel the same.

Some people may want more romance.

Some may prefer another type of pacing.

Some may compare it to the source material.

And that’s completely okay 🤍

Everyone watches differently.

But for me—

this drama gave me exactly what I wanted ✨

Good storytelling.

Characters I cared about.

Emotional moments.

Growth.

Comfort.

And a relationship that felt deeper than romance 🤍

I started this drama expecting nothing.

I finished it feeling unexpectedly attached 🥹

And that’s probably the best compliment I can give.

Thank you The First Jasmine for giving me a story that I enjoyed much more than I ever expected 🤍🌸✨

Queen Insoo was quite a long ride!

I personally enjoyed the series despite it's slow pacing drama. It tells a lot about human greed and the extremities of one's ambition. This drama can make you toss and turn, laugh, be annoyed, and be bored to the max, however, I guarantee that it was all worth while. A friendly advice, savor each screen time of every characters because you will surely miss them as they slowly disappear from the spotlight. You will grow with them and at some point die with them.

Characters are well played by great actors and actresses but I have two favorite persons among them. First, I love the mature Great Queen Dowager Insoo particularly in the drama, she is brave, smart, and definitely strong. Second, I don't know but I also love the Great King Sejo with the same reasons I have with Great Queen Dowager Insoo. I extremely loved the father and daughter in law bond that these two has. It was just sad that these two people were misunderstood by many to the point of tormenting them even in their last moments. I kind of understand their intensions though sometimes not their ways around it LOL. For me, they have only one major flaw and that is, King Sejo's decision to kill young King Danjong and Queen Insoo's inability to kill the baby Yeonsangun, haunting them even with their last breath. Their decision about the matter gave way to thousands of people's sufferings and death.

Watching real historical dramas are great not until you realized that it's done, all was history and nothing can be done to change it. You know that no matter how much you wanted to fight for a happy ending, there is no point at all.

Overall, this series was able to provide a detailed power transition from King Mungjong to Yeonsangun. It depicts the events after King Sejong the Great passes his throne to King Mungjong and the aftermath of King Sejo's coup against his brother. If you are interested in Korea's Joseon Era, particularly their kings, then this series is a must watch.

Goblin had me like…, that’s it ???

Like many international K-drama fans, i got soo many recommendations to watch Goblin. Considering its legendary status, I went in expecting to be completely obsessed. Instead, I finished it wondering... what exactly was all the hype about?

First of all, the romance, the heart of the drama just didn't work for me. The chemistry between the Goblin and the female lead was questionable from the start. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't see them as a couple or root for them to end up together. It just felt uncomfortable. She was a high school student, and that age gap was impossible for me to ignore. I know she grows older in the second half of the drama, but by then it was too late. Her image as a high school girl was already firmly established in my mind. Since this is primarily a romance, I wanted to be invested in the main couple but how can you enjoy a love story when the relationship itself makes you uncomfortable? I had to rely on the 2nd lead couple’s romance to keep me going.

Beyond that, the first few episodes were entertaining. The humor, the bromance, and the quirky interactions were all there. But somewhere along the way, the drama seemed to lose its direction. The comedy faded, and the plot started feeling like it was making things up as it went.
Goblin disappears... then comes back. Okay, now what? Kill the female lead... and then reincarnate her? It felt like the writers kept pulling out one cliché after another instead of giving the story a satisfying conclusion.

I can appreciate the cinematography, the soundtrack, and the performances they were all excellent. unfortunately the story was really mid.

Jasmine with barely any fragrance ?

This drama is the perfect example of how a terrible beginning can sabotage an entire story. Episodes 32, 33, and 34 were genuinely outstanding. They contained everything I'd been waiting for; the real emotional tension... Under normal circumstances, I would've been bawling my eyes out.Instead...

I felt almost nothing~

Not because those episodes lacked impact, but because the first 31 episodes had already drained every ounce of emotional investment out of me. Sitting through ten soporific episodes followed by eleven more that were merely mediocre is no small task. By that time, I had already run out of patience.

If you're someone who enjoys melodrama for the sake of melodrama, you'll probably have a much better experience than I did. The drama serves plenty of noble suffering, sacrifice and emotional speeches. But if you like your stories seasoned and spiced...you might leave the table hungry.

The first ten episodes contribute almost nothing beyond a prologue, character introductions, and a handful of painfully uninteresting assassinations. The story doesn't begin to take shape until Episode 12, when the leads finally start moving in the same direction.
Episode 12...... In a 40-episode drama.... I mean come on ... !!!

"Writer clearly forget to light the fire"~

The only reasons I made it this far were Bai Lu, Ryan, and my respect for the friends who recommended it. Otherwise, this drama delivered absolutely nothing close to what its trailer had promised.

As for the cast...

Bai Lu once again proves that questionable script choices and acting ability are two completely different things. She can pick a drama that disappoints me, but she never disappoints me as an actress. She's effortlessly talented. That said, *Jadewind* and now this one do make me wonder how long I can keep liking her as my fav for her acting talent alone. Her scripts are not scripting to me anymore. She's at her absolute best when a feel good story gives her emotional moments to elevate. Watching Bai Lu cry during an otherwise engaging dull-plot drama is heartbreaking.

I mean ..'Even her magic has limits'~

Ryan...My man is back with his trademark micro-expressions. So microscopic they should come with a complimentary microscope...... Except for scenes like thanking Ye Li for saving his legs or his first visit to the Mountain Academy, he wore almost the exact same expression throughout the series. The frustrating part is that I know he can act. He was fantastic in *How Dare You?* So why does he keep returning to his *My Journey to You* default settings????

Why~

As for the production, the costumes looked good, the sets were perfectly serviceable, and the visual effects were... fine. There wasn't much opportunity for them to shine anyway.

The OST wasn't particularly memorable, but I did love the background score during Episode 1, the entire bride departure sequence. Those sanskrit shlokas chant like BGM was unique ... In a nice way.

Would I recommend this drama?

I wish I could.

But I can't~

Three excellent episodes simply aren't enough to compensate for nearly thirty hours of waiting for the story to wake up.

Potenziale sprecato

Valutazione

* Regia e atmosfera: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
* Realismo: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
* Interpretazione di Rowoon: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
* Costruzione della trama: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)
* Sviluppo dei personaggi: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5)
* Romance: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5)

Put Ego Down

The story is about a several group that has different interests and are trying to seize the throne of the kingdom. It's quite complex and has a lot of plot twists. It's become much more intense when one by one the character background is being discovered. Mostly it's all about the ambition of people, but some of them are doing it in the wrong way, that make everything into chaos...

I like the VFX, SFX, Camera Angle, etc in this film. It's really amazing!

*Recommended if you love kingdom, war, comedy, and serious film.
