Get These Two A Proper Series IMMEDIATELY

Normally I avoid the verticals--not interested in the whole coin thing and whatnot, but for whatever reason, when this landed on my TL on IG, I thought, well, wait, that looks kind of interesting.

It was so interesting I actually PAID for a week of this service just to be able to finish and rewatch this show. I don't know who is behind this series but for a vertical with short eps and all that, this was REALLY good. I could see it as a full on series if it had the budget. Either way, I'd love to see these two back in something else, that is on a regular channel or at least not a vertical. I thought it was a cute premise, both ML actors really delivered.

I've rewatched it twice so far...if that is any indication.

Perfetto, datemene altre 10.

Ho amato tutto di questa serie. Mi è piaciuta l'ambientazioni, le immegini, la parte medica. Insomma mi è piaciuto tutto ed è anche per questo che le ho dato dieci. Certo potevamo ridurre le scene del direttore dell'ospedale, che per quanto mi riguarda è da considerarsi un personaggio orribile, ma alla fine dei conti non esiste serie corana dove c'è il cattivo che in qualche modo vuole lucrare sulle malattie. Detto ciò, io ho una piccolissima crush per Kim Young Kwang quindi sono convinta che anche una serie non bella come questa comunque l'avrei apprezzata (anche se non è propriamente da dirsi, visto che non mi è piaciuto nemmeno un singolo minuto di Pinocchio dove abbiamo la combo fra attori che mi piacciono e attrci). Detto ciò torniamo alla storia: la parte medica e di gestione dei disastri mi è proprio piaciuta, mi è piaciuto come abbiano dilatato il tempo della storia, occupando più o meno 16 puntate per un periodo di cica una settimana. QUesta secondo me è stata la giocata vincete per far comprendere alla gente che quando avvengono questi eventi (quindi tipo un terremoto) ci sono tantissime cose che succedono e tutte nel più breve tempo possibile, e non c'è nemmeno tempo per. aspettare e realizzare veramente quello che sta succedendo, bisogna solo partire ed andare, buttarsi e cercare di fare il più possibile con quel poco che si ha.
Detto questo essendomi appunto (ri)partito il kick per Kim Young Kwang la prossima serie che vedo sarà Evilive, serie dove a quando ho capito fa uno dei ruoli che gli viene meglio (non che abbia sbagliato in alcun modo a fare il dottor Lee, anzi).

this is going in my BEST of 2026 List ❤️

What a highly entertaining drama – it ticked every single box: romance, comedy, office politics, drama, relationships, chaebol conflicts, exes drama, hilarious supporting characters, suspense, family, and friendships – all executed perfectly! The highlights were the sizzling chemistry of the leads as they went from enemies to lovers, their impeccable comic timing, the strong supporting cast, and the suspense woven into the office affairs and beyond. After a long time in 2026, I finally had a drama that made me comment and share theories every week on MDL, eagerly waiting for the weekend episodes.

The only reason it missed the "masterpiece 10/10" score was the final 2 eps. It wasn’t bad – in fact, it was fitting – but because it leaned on a serious note, the earlier excitement and pace dulled just a bit. Still, overall, as expected from my love Shin Hae Sun and my recent 2025 favorite Gong Myung, this is a must-watch of 2026 and beyond! Thoroughly entertaining, and I hope they keep making dramas like this.

⮩ Highlights – Special Mention:

[1] The Story: As shared above, it had everything you’d want from this genre and more. Never boring, always engaging, with suspense that made it perfect for binge-watching. I especially appreciated the mature portrayal of family relationships – both broken and clingy – and the variety of romantic relationships beyond just the leads. The focus on the FL as a talented employee rising the corporate ladder despite hurdles, with a supportive partner and even his family backing her, was refreshing and much needed, especially since the glass ceiling IRL is still tough.

[2] The Acting: The leads are some of my favorite actors, which is why I started the drama, knowing they wouldn’t disappoint – and they didn’t. They were incredible. But the second leads and supporting cast (Audit Team 3) were equally great and kept pace with the mains. Even the antagonist and cameo roles were well done. This show truly had the best "CAST" hands down!

[3] The Chemistry: Absolute fire from Episode 1. The scenes were literally too hot to handle. This drama had me going "OMO! OMO! OMO!" countless times, kicking my feet and feeling all tingly with the infinite butterflies it gave me while watching the leads.

OF, but make it GL

Allora, capiamoci, non mi è dispiaciuto per nulla, anzi. Oggettivamente io la gente non la capisco, ma alla fine dei conti ho imparato che alle persone quello che fa la GMMTV non va mai bene. E questo a conti fatti è un loro problema e non oggettivamente un me problema. A me la storia è piaciuta, ho avuto un po' di caos, ma non troppo e non stata felici dei cameo che ho visto. Insomma, considerando che io GL tendenzialmente vedo solo quelli della GMMTV non mi ha dispiaciuto, anzi. Poi ho visto bene le coppie storiche consolidate e devo dire che ho apprezzato anche ViewMim, che sarò sincera, mentre in Us non avevo apprezzato perché non mi piaceva per nulla il personaggio di Mim e che onestamente non avevo molto capito in STGD. Devo dire che dei cast con coppie in ensamble della GMMTV solo uno veramente non mi è piaciuto ed è la serie che ha ispirato tutte le serie del momento, quindi con me si va abbastanza sul sicuro con queste serie. Detto appunto ciò mi sta piacendo come ci stiamo gradualmente espandendo rispetto al mondo degli universitari, anche se voi sapete (e se non lo sapete ve lo dico io ora) che le serie universitarie resteranno comunque le mie preferite di sempre, e ho apprezzato il mondo dei film/moda per introdurci al modno delle nostre Girl. Ora come per OF aspetto anche GR2.

it's amazing

it's sooo goood it is the best cdrama l have ever watched the actors are really good it is amazing it is worth watching it is sooooooooooooo good if u need something interesting to watch you have to watch ‍🔥, "Falling Into Your Smile" is a fantastic e-sports romance that perfectly blends competitive gaming with a heartwarming love story. Tong Yao's journey as the first female pro gamer is inspiring, and her witty banter with Lu Sicheng is gold. Their chemistry is undeniable, making their slow-burn romance incredibly engaging. The drama excels at showcasing the intensity of e-sports while delivering plenty of sweet, funny, and emotional moments. It's a genuinely feel-good watch with a great cast. Highly recommend it for a delightful binge!

Much better than expected

I remember wanting to watch this but i couldn't find it anywhere so I just added it to my PTW, then found it by chance a few days ago after i totally forgot about it.

I watched it for the two leads and that was a pleasant surprise, the ML was so good and his character was amazing i even liked the evil husband lol the actor was good and somehow attractive.

My favourite scene was the "break up" scene, WDT was so lovely i felt so sorry, when he cried and begged i went "awwwwwwww 🥹🥹🥹" the whole scene, he was too adorable and cute in a miserable way lol and the swtich in his behaviour after that was spectacular.
I love that the character wasn't shy to beg for his love, we usually see MLs with power forcing their love on the FL when they refuse them, specially if they are multi-billionaires type of CEOs as in this drama's case, and he did to some extent but wasn't so extreme and kinda respected her final decision.

So despite all his power and wealth, he wanted her with her consent.
I'm just a sucker for powerful men with no male ego.

The whole show was good, i wish the ML had a proper reason for being that clingy towards the FL but it doesn't really matter, it's love.

The two leads were good together, but the intimate scenes lacks a bit, overall it was more than a decent watch, i would recommend it and I'll probably rewatch it again (if i could find it)

just a typical office romance but so well made it could be one of the best in its category.

I enjoyed every second of this. Joo Ina was such a fun boss. She was strict yet animated, it was intriguing. She was in a position of power but wasn't cold or closed off like how most shows portray these kind of characters. Ki-jun matched her energy well. He was upset at his change in role but never undermined her abilities.
Each episodes focusing on different cases were also so fun. Team 3 was also developed well, I cared about all of them.
Their romance was so good too. Ki-jun was very open about his feelings and wanted to pursue them. The conversations about marriage and life were also a good addition, I love how they ended the show.
The role reversal from the usual dramas was a nice feature of this show. Joo Ina being kind of reserved with her feelings and very intense while Kijun was open and bubbly, her being the one to take care of any professional (and emotional) problems that arises for him etc was so fun to watch.

My only problem with this show is the whole VP drama. We already have a built in conflict for this show i.e Joo Ina dating Kijun, there was no need for the VP to be the ex with feelings AND have him be in a competition with his brother. These plots were done badly, they just went to the cliched trope of a jealous second female lead. I liked A Jeong for the most part, she seemed fun and her interactions with Kijun were nice but then she decides to hurt everyone because her boss still loves Ina. Like literally wtf, what would she gain by exposing their past? She won't get any of the men, Joo Ina is a strong woman she will recover from it, A Jeong will lose her job so none of it will ever work in her favour. She just turned into an angry woman and that was it. Completely unnecessary. This would have been a 10/10 show without that plot. They could have used that time to show us their dating era before the office turned into shambles. Their hidden dating era was so fun.

Waste of time

1. What are the random montages every 10 minutes? These people cannot act, so they've added montages to make us feel something.
2. Why are evil characters getting redemption arcs and the above montages to show their friendship? Theyre going after each other's exes and you want us to believe that there's love between them?
3. The storyline is going everywhere and nowhere at the same time. It has 7 episodes but they feel so long.
4. It all looks so polished and shallow, these high school students do not look like they're in their junior year.
5. The FMC shows zero emotions but keep jumping from one guy to another. Everything is a mess.

Not what I expected. At ALLLL!!!

I know I am late for this show, But I plucked up my courage since this is my first ever review of anything : )
I went into this drama, without watching its trailer, but by simply stumbling upon this page on MDL.
The synopsis provided there made me curious enough to watch thos show

Dear Godd-I knew C-drama were like a big drama with a string of many mini-dramas within it.
But this was like a whole 3 part novel or movie.

Without giving any spoiler==
Its good.
the drama keeps going so you never get boared.
The romance is definitly the major part.
It remains in your mind even after it ends=in a good way.

Heavily rigged show with characters with solid fanbases going

Although, we shouldn’t be surprised given that it’s a produce show, obviously it will be rigged to some extent. I honestly didn’t think they would do it so complacently. You have clear debut candidates like Midori, whose under the name K.Daiki, randomly dropped for 1st place to 10th place. You even have people like Jaeyong and Kotoro taken away during the elimination. Even though they are understandable, and you could use the excuse that people may have stopped voting them because of the number of votes available closing. You still can’t justify such a big gap.

Also, unfair benefits and them going to such large extents of 250,000 shared in one team. Shinhaeng jumping up in ranks (he deserves it but regardless still ridiculous), especially given some people whose names I still yet to recognise survived the eliminations.

I’ve never watched a rigged survival show since Fantasy Boys. Wheere you had benefits even on the final mission rigging the debut. Characters like Santa dropping significant to 29th?? And even most members have left.

Alien acting

A veteran Korean actor, Lee Dong-hwi, plays a version of himself with the same name Lee Dong-hwi. Interestingly, I recently watched a similar movie about another actor, Jung Woo, and the acting world. This film is a self-reflective comedy about the life of an actor. It shows the main actor’s vulnerability and honesty.

I love Korean movies, but I often struggle with Korean comedies. They usually carry a good message, and this movie is no exception. However, the jokes often didn’t land well for me. I only laughed twice — once at a fart joke and once at a sandwich scene. The rest of the time, it felt overly silly, with too much yelling that was uncomfortably loud on my speakers rather than funny or entertaining. Oh, and I also laughed at the post-credit scene at the end.

The movie uses the analogy of acting as an alien character to represent feeling alien to your own life. It explores what happens when acting becomes your life and your life becomes acting. We all play certain roles in life, and we need the wisdom to stay true to ourselves.

OH MY GOD, my jaw has never dropped this much before!!
First off, amazing acting debut to those who were new in the acting industry for Shades, you're all hella good!!!
Second off, THE WAIT WAS SO WORTH IT AHHAHA, I honestly thought they forgot about the project at some point but I was wrong, let them cook bro. The plot adds up, the writing is good, and the whole story is messed up in a good way which makes everyone excited. the OST gives me chills, i got it on repeat rn! I love the acting of sophies mom, its something new in a way with the exagerrated tantrum. BelleEarn, their story hasnt gone exactly too deep in terms of romance but theres so much lore that connects, so ready to see their messy relationship. JANENANO MY BABIESSSS, ENEMIES TO LOVERS!!! Janenano are so cute, i cant believe they were originally meant to be friends. JaneNano are the reason im OBSESSED with puyfaiploy rn, their chemistry is ssooooo adorable i doomscroll them everyday :sob: overall, good story, good music, good acting, also found out from this show that mook is back into acting! cant wait for s2!
