A beautiful chemistry

So it's the second time i watch this drama and i still love it. This is not about a big story and a big politic plot or something like that, you watch Legend of the Female General for the chemistry between ML and FL! Acting is very good and it's just a pleasure to watch both actors doing their things. This is about romance with a badass female, its a great drama for that and we dont need something else.

Good first half only to burn out

The chemistry of the main leads is great, with sweet moments in between. However, I feel regretful because of the missed opportunities and the lackluster side characters lost a couple of stars.

Story Arcs
Episode 1-6: Learning about the background of the characters and their motivations. The chemistry between the two main leads here is sizzling.

Episode 7-12: For typical trope reasons, ZH decides to leave high school without saying goodbye. These episodes are just him trying to apologize and win her back and them dealing with random stalkerish love rivals.

Episode 13 -16 Main leads are together now, yay! These episodes focus on the 2nd leads and it's a terrible story about a woman stalking a man until he succumbs. It is everything you hate about brother QY but from a female.

Episodes 17-25 They get internships and get schemed against by the love rivals. This arc is boring but still watchable.

Episodes 26-28 This is where it is completely unwatchable. All the bad guys don't get what they deserve but have a sudden change of heart. All is forgiven even illegal things that they did and they are invited to the wedding. Episode 27 where she randomly decides to go abroad for 2 YEARS without telling the ML for some money from her mother. It does not align with her character up to this point and made no sense to have this random flip. Also, choosing to disappear without talking to him about it is exactly why she was so mad at him. It's like the script writer needed to wrap up the show and move the timeline forward to their wedding.

Overall, this is a fast forward watch after episode 12 and skip episode 27.

10/10 — One of my favorite BLs of 2026 so far

The Ayutthaya setting is SOOO stunning and feels incredibly alive, the time-travel mystery actually has weight to it and keeps me thinking every week, and NetJJ’s chemistry is honestly insane. Phop going from being suspicious of “Klao” to becoming deeply protective and soft for him felt so natural and satisfying to watch. Nothing about their relationship feels forced at all.

And the NC scenes? Not just hot, but genuinely romantic and intimate too, (especially that Ep. 8 scene Lol) . I also love all the historical details, plus the emotional depth and how smoothly they handled the identity swap storyline.

The production quality is top-tier: gorgeous costumes, beautiful cinematography, and strong acting from everyone. This drama seriously made me laugh, cry, blush, and impatiently wait for Fridays every single week. Fridays are officially my favorite day now. Already craving a rewatch before it’s even over, and I’m so excited for the modern reunion.

NetJJ & LatteKim really delivered everything I didn’t know I needed. Absolute comfort + excitement in one drama. They truly killed it 🔥

I currently watching "Wu" and honestly, GMMTV and Parbdee absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one.
The plot is honestly so refreshing. It’s a supernatural fantasy thriller about Pete (Nani), who can detect dangerous spirits called Yao, and Niran (Sky), a mysterious guy who can alter destiny. The universe they built here is incredible. It’s not just random ghost hunting. the way the supernatural elements tie into real world politics and social issues makes the whole story feel grounded and smart. The pacing is perfect, every episode leaves you wanting more.
Can we talk about Sky and Nani? Their chemistry is the absolute heart of the show. The cinematography and VFX are top-tier. Honestly, it feels like watching a high-budget movie rather than a weekly series. The lighting is moody and stunning, and the CGI for the Yao monsters actually looks realistic and creepy.

Great Suspenseful Time Loop Thriller That's an Absolute Gem

Reset is an amazing time loop drama that follows Li Shiqing (Zhao Jinmai) and Xiao Heyun (Bai Jingting), two strangers trapped in a repeating cycle aboard a bus that's destined to explode, as they work together to uncover the truth and break free before it's too late. And honestly? It delivers on all fronts.

I truly enjoyed this drama. It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen something with a time loop premise and I was surprised at how good this was. It's fast-paced, full of suspense, and — what I appreciated most — it's character-driven. Unlike many high-concept thrillers that focus purely on action and forget that people actually need to care about the characters, Reset dedicates real screen time to the human elements.

The passengers on the bus our duo is investigating all have distinct backgrounds and struggles, and the drama treats them with genuine empathy. If you enjoy character studies, this will absolutely resonate with you. The best thing is that even with the character studies do not drag on. They are woven into the action really well.

The plot structure is tight and concise. No filler, no dragging, no "why is this still going" moments — every loop advances the plot with distinct clues and logical shifts, which keeps the pacing sharp from start to finish.

I also really enjoyed the slow-burn romance that develops between Li Shiqing and Xiao Heyun as they fight together to fix the time loop and come out alive. While romance isn’t in the forefront of the drama, it’s subtle, and it’s becoming obvious as the drama progresses. Bai Jingting and Zhao Jinmai have a natural, organic chemistry with a deeply protective dynamic that never falls into clichéd drama tropes. You root for both of them — as partners and as people — and honestly that's hard to pull off with the action in the central mystery and 15 episodes only.

Reset is truly a gem. Go watch it. You're welcome.

Slow paced but must watch

In thsi generation seeing a slwo paced wuxian drama is quite rare. When i started i was always hoping for more ml screeen time. However, without knowing i am enjoying other characters details. Without reason nothing is happening. A clean way of meeting set up for ml and fl. In which these days dramas doesn't show. Drama is slow paced but different in several ways. But once watched i don't think i will go back and watch again. May be some scenes but not all.

dont judge before watching it for yourself

All I’m going to say is that this is as perfect as the Japanese version and worth the watch if you want to watch a cute BL. I was hesitant at first because I don’t like remakes, but after I watched it, I realized that the show is not as bad as people say it is. The chemistry between the actors was really cute and natural, and the comedy felt fun without trying too hard. I also liked how the Thai version added its own charm instead of copying everything scene by scene. Some moments were changed, but honestly, I think that made it more interesting to watch. The characters were lovable, the awkward moments were adorable, and the emotional scenes still hit well. Gemini and Fourth did an amazing job bringing the story to life in their own way. Overall, this remake deserves way more appreciation than it gets.

Fabulous Perfomance by Dilraba and

story about a "demon" tamer who uses a mermaid to gain her physical freedom but gets her heart freed in the process. I binged this when I should have been studying for exams. That's how good it is. Also, probably a good idea to restock on tissues.
What captivated me most about this show is the raw emotions that the leads managed to portray. I wish I could go back to the first time I watched this show to relive all those first time amazing show experiences. Will have to settle for plain Ole rewatches.

Better than the Original Korean Version

I didn't realize until I finished watching the show that this was the Chinese remake of Descendents of the Sun. That being said, without comparing the two, I this was a great drama. If you are comparing the two, one of my problems was that the lead actress in DOS was not very likable which was fixed in the Chinese version. Definitely worth the watch whether or not you watch DOS. I appreciated Mika's perseverance and her attitude. I also liked the decision to make her look like a normal doctor (sans the heavy makeup and heels) and give her the attitude of a doctor.

The Ending was Rushed

Follow Zhao Lusi in another STELLAR performance as a smart indepent woman in a period drama. The kicker with this drama is that every single character is written and acted out so well that it's impossible not to like everyone. Even the mother who i disliked for abandoning her baby because of a fortune teller, we'd redeemable and still likeable.
The queens were an absolute riot kicking the Emperor out as he went through a midlife crisis every time the ML went through any sort of character Growth. He was also the biggest shipper of the ML and FL.The amount of dad jokes the Emperor dropped would make any dad proud.
despite the rushed ending IMHO it needed like 10 more episodes to properly wrap everything up.

One of my Most Rewatched CDramas

IDK if i can even write anything here except the mom sucks, the king was a sociopath and his wife worse. The brothers really did love each other which makes everything sadder and the only person whose life wasn't absolutely miserable was the love fairy god dude. He was epic. This show is epic. Watch it once. twice. three times. Never stop.
I'm not a fan of chinese music, however, I did like the ost in this show. Im also not sure why chinese people like the whole acting like a baby situation but it didnt overpower the story so it was okay.
