One word. Beautiful.

Personally, I love this drama. Even though yes, the plot is basically the typical freaky friday body swap thing, it still has really fresh and new elements to it. One of it is that they don’t just use that plot once, but many more times which makes it more interesting.

I also love how there are a lot of different yet interconnected conflicts. It might be confusing for some people (honestly I was one of them) because there are so many things happening in the drama, but that makes the drama really fun.

OH AND THE ACTING. Oh my god. Top tier. I love their acting, especially the main characters. Their chemistry is chef’s kiss😘🤌. I kept laughing throughout the entire drama. THEY’RE SO CUTE TOGETHER😩💗. Lastly, the music, hanfus, world building, and cinematography are also top tier.

💯Recommended.

I hate imwhen it does not make sense

It was a good start and i had high hopes but the last teo episodes were a mess. I also felt this would have been a better movie. I really hoped for a better ending. The first half was a 9/10 the later a 3/10. Its just awful to watch smth where they cant come up with a good end so they male a whole mess out of it where you think that should be called a fantasy series.
The FL is an outstanding actress though she held this one together.

I PRESSED PLAY FOR FLUFF AND LEFT WITH NEW BIAS

Okay. Be honest with me for a second. Every time a new BL drops, don’t you also sigh dramatically and go "ah yes… another group of university boys about to fall in love, cry once, kiss twice, and ruin my sleep schedule". Because SAME. And normally I eat that shit up. BUT. I went into this with baggage. Emotional baggage. Suitcase full.

I’ve trusted New before. Mostly. Except... Absolute Zero which I pretend never happened because my brain blocked it out for survival. So when Perfect 10 Liners showed up, I was already suspicious. Guard up. Arms crossed. And on top of that, FORCEBOOK???? Babes, I was TRAUMATIZED. Boss and Babe did me DIRTY. I hated everything about that era. So I literally went "pls don’t make me hate you again" before pressing play.

AND THEN.
WHY IS THIS… GOOD???
Why am I smiling?
Why am I not cringing?
WHY DO I NOT HATE BOOK ANYMORE?
(Oh. Turns out I hated Cher, not Book.)

____________________________________

a) THE PLOT: DOES IT MAKE SENSE? SOMETIMES. DOES IT ENTERTAIN ME? YES BITCH.

So the plot centers around this friend group called Perfect 10 Liners.

What does that mean?
Do they explain it properly? NO. ❤️
Do I care? ALSO NO. ❤️

They have matching bracelets that come in PAIRS for their future boyfriends and that alone already had me giggling and kicking my feet. Gear-coded but make it aesthetic and less violent. Each arc focuses on a different couple finding love, trauma-bonding lightly, and then being annoying together. Is it groundbreaking? No. Is it effective? Unfortunately, yes.

1. ArcArm
This couple is the backbone of this series and honestly carries a lot. The first few episodes? FUN. FLIRTY. ENTERTAINING. Arc teasing Arm nonstop, Arm being goofy and unserious, and suddenly their beef turns into flirting. Delicious. HOWEVER! Arc confessing at the restaurant was a bit sudden. Like sir??? If my senior who’s been roasting me daily suddenly did that, I’d short-circuit on the spot. Kiss scenes? GOOD. Steam scenes? A little vanilla for my sinful soul, but the CHEMISTRY? Holding this arc together like rent is due. I stayed seated for them.

2. MarcPoon
Let me be nice. This couple exists. That’s it. Sand fell in love at first sight, which is cute, but Pond’s POV is basically nonexistent. Blink and they’re together. I wanted more buildup but also… thank god there wasn’t because I genuinely cannot sit through Marc for long without feeling secondhand awkwardness. Filler couple energy. Respectfully.

3. YothaGun
This couple confused me emotionally and logically. On paper, it’s fine. Yotha has fear of love + mommy issues, Gun is afraid of the dark and sleeps with lights on. Cute setup. But then Yotha asks Gun to WAIT until he figures out if he loves him and I just stared at the screen like 😀???? Sir??? This is UNIVERSITY, not a lifetime contract. Sometimes you DATE to figure things out. Why are we acting like love is a math formula?

Also Newton is a TRASH brother. Idc. “Respecting privacy” does not mean ignoring your sibling when they’re emotionally falling apart. Ask ONE question. Hug them. Do the bare minimum. PLEASE.

Also quick side rant: WHY ARE ALL THE BOTTOMS IN THIS SERIES SO LIGHTWEIGHT??? Why are they being picked up, dragged, tossed like grocery bags?? I’m screaming.

4. KlaoWa
They feels like a literal teaser trailer for Only Friends 2. Trust issues. Hot-headed top. Textbook drama. They’re there. They exist. Next.

5. FaifaWine
This is where my heart cracked a little. Faifa stepping in as Wine’s mentor while Yotha is busy eating Gun’s face? The fuck?? Wine coming out, breaking up with his girlfriend, and revealing he wants the BROTHER not the sister??? Extremely porn-coded but okay sure 😭 What really got me was Faifa’s family storyline. Being the last option in your own family hurts in a quiet, humiliating way. His mom canceling her flight and telling everyone EXCEPT HIM???? I NEEDED A FULL BREAKDOWN SCENE. Tears. Screaming. Years of bottled-up feelings exploding. Junior could’ve DEVOUR that scene but the script went soft and I’m mad about it.

____________________________________

b) CHARACTERS: WHY IS EVERYONE ATTRACTIVE AND WHY AM I MAD ABOUT IT??

Arm (Book)
He shocked me. He’s cheerful, goofy, slightly cringe but in a lovable way. Accidentally starting beef by posting Arc’s pic on Facebook is actually hilarious. Enemies-to-lovers via social media embarrassment. His chemistry with Force??? INSANE. Undeniable. Electric.❤️

Arc (Force)
This man is dangerously fine. Like pause-the-screen-and-rethink-my-life fine. He starts off sharp and teasing and slowly turns into a SIMP and I support that character assassination fully. Also Force can act. Period.

Pond (Marc)
Hmm… stiff. Forced charm. Awkward energy. I tried. I skipped. Peace.

Sand (Poon)
This guy is natural, warm, believable. He makes you believe he’s in love. PLEASE pair this man with someone who can MATCH HIM next time. Oh and I just found out that he will be pair with Ohm so YAAAAAASSSSSSS!!!!❤️

Yotha (Perth)
He fits the bad boy role perfectly and is distractingly handsome. I kept rewinding because I forgot to listen. Chemistry with Santa works.

Gun (Santa)
He starts off golden retriever cute but slowly becomes clingy and childish. Sir. You are in university. Please act like it.

Faifa (Junior)
Faifa is the GREENEST FLAG EVER. Why did I not realize how handsome Junior is before??? I am upset. His kindness hurts to watch because he never puts himself first. I needed him to SNAP. We were robbed.

Wine (Mark)
This man is okay, but I wanted more emotional reassurance, more dialogue about Faifa’s family pain, more depth. Acting isn’t bad, just a little stiff compared to Cherry Magic.

____________________________________

c) FINAL THOUGHTS BEFORE I LOG OFF AND TOUCH GRASS

This series is fluffy, chaotic, unserious, and VERY New-coded. I expected to hate it and instead found myself yelling at my screen, judging everyone, and forming new bias against my will.

Sex scenes? Fine. Nothing memorable.
OST? Cute, catchy, not playlist-worthy.
Biggest surprise? Junior. Did I find a new fave??? Maybe.

Final rating: 8/10. Fun, refreshing, chaotic comfort watch.

Like I said before, I never rewatch series unless if it's good, but for this one, would I rewatch? Probably not. 24 episodes is crazy work.

But did it make me laugh, scream internally, and spiral a little?
Absolutely. 🤡✨

There will be no savior in this world; you can only be your own hero!

Now I really understand why all the film critics had nothing but high praise for it, the quality of acting is exceptional .

❤️Hats off, watching it again with an English translation was a totally different experience, it impressed me in Mandarin but I only truly understood it now. So, so good!❤️

The elevator scene , the argument between Li Qi and Xiao Tang, taking you deep into Li Qi's moral predicament, it's a scene torn from the reality of a lawyer's life: Yes, I want justice, I want ideals, but I also want to be respected and live well. Ideals don't always put bread on my table.
I'm a lawyer myself, I perfectly understand the rhetorical question "What's wrong with that?!"

Tan Jianci's acting is truly excellent. His portrayal of Li Qi, his struggle between justice and worldly fame and fortune, is so realistic. Especially his sign language performance, it's not just "like" it, but so natural and fluent that it seems like muscle memory.❤️ Tan Jianci's emotional expression are built upon the character's logic; his outbursts are not mere technical displays, but rather the character's emotional breakdown! So, so good!

Another Excellent CDrama

I love the screenwriting of Zhou Mo, who really knows how to portray strong female leads, beautifully, and well.
I, first watched, and loved, Perfect Match—also, written by her, and enjoyed it, thoroughly, so followed it up with this series.

There's a lot of good messaging about strong women in her writing. She does it excellently.

The casting and acting in this series was very good. The storyline was different and very absorbing. Again, this one had it all: danger, treachery, some humor, drama, love. It was less light-hearted than Perfect Match, with lots more treachery and deception, and the sisters were not all as close and loving as in Perfect Match, but it was still a great watch and holds your interest through every episode.

With all the episodes contained in these CDramas, I, sometimes feel the endings are still a little rushed. I guess they have a certain amount of episodes and have to fit it all in a certain time constraint, but, they always have a decent completion, and are rarely disappointing.

Definitely, worth the watch.

Mild spoilers ahead:

Everything the show did well:
>Likeable characters all around, especially from the villain faction Bridan.
>A lot of concepts and ideas that seem unrelated end up meshing surprisingly well thematically, which makes the setting feel creative.
>It's pretty consistently funny but also has several dark moments that are done really well.
>Consistently good action, especially for the mecha battles.
>Blue's character arc is pretty well done.
>The Universe Warriors are consistently really entertaining characters of the week whenever they're the focus of an episode.
>Both the Gozyugers and Bridan are among the most creative Sentai and villain factions in the franchise.

Everything the show did badly:
>The Red and Blue Rangers get significantly more focus than the rest of the cast, while everyone else gets shafted with a noticeable lack of focus episodes.
>Yellow's character arc is rushed.
>The monsters of the week feel extremely disconnected from the story and like an afterthought in the episodes, despite being funny for most episodes written by the show's head writers.
>The show doesn't use the Universe Warriors enough.
>The Calamity is underexplored.
>A lot of worldview ideas are only explored for a single episode and not dwelt upon.
>The mecha characters are underexplored, particularly TegaSword and the war he resolved at the start of the show starts.
>Bridan, the Calamity, and the Universe Tournament don't connect with each other in a satisfying manner.
>The arc of the first Universe Warrior is resolved off-screen.
^Black's actress had to get abruptly recast, resulting in a second recap episode and a lot of awkward editing, especially in the final episode, undermining multiple emotional moments.
>Red's actor, while not bad, is noticeably worse than the rest of the cast, which is made even more noticeable due to him getting more focus than anyone else, even by usual Red Ranger standards.

Reasons for the show's strengths:
The producer is a hardcore tokusatsu and mecha fan, so he put a lot of attention to detail into the way the mecha work in the show, resulting in more mecha suit variety when compared to other Reiwa Sentai, he's also pretty creative coming up with characters such as Kinjiro and Kuon. The head writer is really creative and has a lot of good ideas that mesh well for the most part, she's also a veteran surreal comedy novelist, so her writing is pretty funny most of the time. The secondary episode writers for the show are all exceptional industry veterans. Veteran action director and head director resulted in the show being consistently visually striking. The actor for the most recurring main villain in the show, FireCandle, is a hardcore Super Sentai fan and brings a lot of energy to his scenes.

Reasons for the show's problems:
Toei executives didn't tell the show's producer, Daigo Matsuura, that this would be the last Sentai season until halfway through production, despite being aware that this would be the last Sentai for years, thus the staff never made the show as if it was going to be a farewell to Sentai. While this could be justified as not putting pressure on Matsuura, this is also his first show ever, picking a newbie to make the franchise's 50th anniversary and last season, which makes it feel like they should have picked someone more experienced. The writer Matsuura wanted to head the show rejected the offer, he predicted this however, he met Akiko Inoue at a wrap-up party for movie production when he was a vice producer that she was invited to and enjoyed her novels after giving them a read. Since her only experience was as a novelist and episode writer for a single show, he decided to hire her as a co-writer for Gotchard despite only being a vice producer for that show to get her used to working on television so that he could hire her as a backup plan for the first show he would head. While the producer's quick thinking is commendable, Akiko's novels were known to focus way too much on the protagonist while side characters wouldn't get much to do, making her a bad fit for Sentai, which focuses on teamwork, on top of that, she had only seen 3 Sentai seasons before working on the show. When coming up with concepts for the show, despite having decided that the show would be about a tournament between Red Rangers, Matsuura also wanted to have monsters of the week like usual. All of this resulted in the show having a focus problem and her not knowing how to properly implement the monsters in Gozyuger into the story. On top of all that, Akiko wanted the show to feel like a late-night drama, so she wanted most episodes to end on cliffhangers, this resulted in the show's pacing being really awkward.
The writer/producer duo also decided to not plan things ahead of time despite coming up with a really dense setup, this was in order to emulate the way Matsuura's mentor Shirakura would work with the writer's father Toshiki to make the shows Kamen Rider 555 and Donbrothers, but because of the issues laid out previously, this way of doing things just didn't work, and they hadn't even considered what the final arc would be until after finishing production of episode 34.
The actress of the Black Ranger, Maya Imamori, got fired from her agency Seju due to underage drinking, it's believed that this is a front for a bigger controversy since underage drinking is a minor offense that wasn't even public, so they could have just waited until the projects Maya was working on had finished airing to fire her. The most common assumption as to what this controversy is an affair with the suit actor of the Red Ranger Asai, because the alleged controversy was brought up saying he'd leave shortly before Asai actually left the show; however, there's no proof for this, and there are multiple reasons why this doesn't make sense:
>the staff seemingly kept working with Maya after his departure without any issue or foresight of her leaving
>the episodes were filmed way in advance meaning that the actor had already left the show before this controversy was brought up
>the official reason for his departure was health problems which are true as he has been suffering from epilepsy since 2019 and he had been planning to retire for a while—originally intending for Gotchard to be his last show as a suit actor but ultimately deciding to work in Gozyuger as a favor to Matsuura who really wanted him to work on the show, but he made a public statement before the show started that this would be his last show
It's also important to note that the tabloid that reported the controversy, Bunshun, while they've revealed heinous crimes that actors have committed in the past like the case of Ren Ozawa in Gaim, most of the time they're grifters trying to stir up controversies in order to gain more money; an example of the latter is how for Kamen Rider Revice they stalked the actress Yui Asakura and similarly caused her agency to fire her despite her doing nothing wrong. This is a similar case where this is the franchise's 50th anniversary, so it means that if they manage to target someone they'll be able to gain more money. Regardless of all of this, it at least seems that Maya is guilty of at least something, but we don't know exactly what, and the contract she signed with Seju specified that if she's fired she should be removed from any project that hasn't aired or is airing. So due to contractual obligation, Toei had no choice but to remove her from the show against their wishes and not be allowed to rehire her, this was extremely tricky due to them only having 2 episodes left to film when she was fired, and due to the way toku production works they still had to film the last 2 episodes on the date they had already decided without a replacement, and they had to very hastily re-edit the episodes that were already done to remove her, resulting in a whole episode getting deleted then replaced with a recap instead and the character getting recast with the actress of the Donbrothers' Yellow Ranger, Kohaku Shida, who's Matsuura's friend, however, because all of her scenes were filmed after the show was done and not every actor was available to come back (a movie Blue's actor was working on had to get delayed in order for him to help shoot these new scenes), her scenes are very hastily put together and feel really awkward despite her being a more experienced actress than Maya and makes several moments of the show's late game awkward and almost off-putting. It also should be noted that both Seju's actors and staff have had controversies before and during Gozyuger, and that they've been noted to not train or teach their actors properly.
The actor of the first Universe Warrior to show up in the show, Haruhi Iuchi, was too occupied with other shows, so his schedule never opened up again for him to return, so his arc had to get resolved off-screen.
Because the staff originally worked on the show without knowing this would be the last Sentai, they decided to still make the finale feel like an ending for Gozyuger rather than the franchise as a whole; Matsuura stated that the true finale for Sentai to kickstart this hiatus is supposed to be the VS movie with Boonboomger instead.

Overall:
The show is continuously fun and nearly every character in the show is likable; the setting is ambitious and creative, and both the action and direction are solid. Yet despite all of this, it doesn't feel like any of the show's ideas were done satisfyingly. They're good ideas, but due to the show trying to do way too much, without planning, at a weird pace in order to continuously end with cliffhangers, all while shafting most of the cast in favor of the Red and Blue Rangers, they just end up feeling half-baked; couple that with the recast issues resulting in a lot of awkward editing for the show's final arc, and these problems get accentuated even further. Still, I found the show entertaining from beginning to end since most of the staff and cast clearly had passion, and most of their ideas are good despite being unfocused; I feel like most people can have fun with the show as long as they don't expect anything top-tier or judge the show on it rather than as the temporary end of a 50-year-long franchise, but it's really hard to disassociate the show because it's still the 50th anniversary.

Unexpectedly Beautiful Love

I honestly didn’t expect this drama to be this good. From the very first episode, it pulled me in and never let go. Everything about it just works... the storytelling, the emotions, the chemistry, and the quiet little moments that stay with you even after the episode ends.
What I love most is how natural everything feels. The development doesn’t feel rushed, and the emotions hit at the right time. It’s the kind of drama that slowly wraps around your heart without you realizing it.
I went in with normal expectations, but I came out genuinely impressed. This one is unexpectedly beautiful in the best way possible. Definitely worth the watch. 💙

Wonderful Series

I, thoroughly, enjoyed this CDrama, from start to finish. It was like the “Little Women” of costume CDramas. It had everything—a great story, well-written, great acting, with an excellent cast, humor, drama, pathos, and most of all lots of love.
It’s refreshing to have a story of strong women, with all female leads’ stories being the main focus. My husband and I, both enjoyed this, thoroughly.
It all came together so well.

Cute and Cozy

I want to start by saying the leads are so cute. The acting and chemistry and story between our leads were impeccable. Everytime they were onscreen I couldn't help but smile at how cute they are together. To all the people talking about how unrealistic or not succinct this drama is, I say just ignore them, after all this is just a cdrama and it is quite a cliche one so the lengthiness is to accommodate the political aspect of the plot. Honestly, I this drama is not the best I have seen especially with the plot, but if you sort of need a break or in between drama, I think this is worth the watch. If that doesn't convince you watch they drama solely for the leads, they are so cute!! I also really liked how it portrayed the FL saving the ML and keeping him as a secret lover, it was funny and a breath of fresh air compared to other cdramas that paint the FL as a damsel in distress. I say watch this drama!

The Beginning of Nunew & Zee's pairing and a Plea for LGBT Marriage

A year ago, Thailand became the first country in Southeast Asia to legalize same-sex marriage, thanks in part to the influence of TV series :) It was still a battle to be fought in 2022 when this drama aired.

PLOT: Lian, a serious and strict businessman, has been engaged since childhood to Kuea, an overprotected child from an aristocratic family. When Kuea returns to Thailand, he puts on a facade of being the perfect fiancé for Lian. Convinced that Lian doesn't love him, Kuea wants to break off the engagement. Lian eventually takes him under his wing and tries to break down the facade.
Second romance: Hia Yi - Kondhia (for me, uninteresting). Third romance among the students: Syn - Nuer (quite funny but underdeveloped).

+++ The Nunew/Zee CL is fantastic, with great chemistry (they're a couple in real life and it shows) (´ ▽`).。o♡
The OSTs sung by Nunew are excellent.
+++ Good plea for the LGBT+ cause
+++ The initial context is a bit "twisted" (fans have to be forgiving) but well-developed, with a supportive family environment. The story is fairly coherent and the production quality is good.

### Misunderstandings and lies that go on for WAY too long, it's frustrating!!

=> Good BL, now I'm going to watch the other BLs featuring the Nunew/Zee couple :)

*******************************************************

Well crafted, sweet and steady romance

I truly recommend this drama — give it a try. It’s high quality, very well written, and you can feel that every step of the story was carefully thought out. Nothing feels rushed or dragged; everything flows naturally.
It’s sweet, with many cute and tender moments, but still mature and balanced. There are no stupid misunderstandings, no unnecessary overreactions, and nothing shocking just to surprise the audience. The emotional tone stays steady and sincere throughout.
The couples are special and unique in their interactions. Each relationship brings something different to the story, adding diversity and depth rather than feeling like filler. Their dynamics feel distinct and thoughtfully developed.
I didn’t skip a single scene, which is rare for me. It’s the kind of romance I would gladly rewatch anytime — comforting, well-crafted, and genuinely heartfelt.

Nice "Tricks"

This was a quite enjoyable Hyper Battle Video. Main premise was fun, it sets up some nice plot threads, fights were enjoyable and production was quite good for a special like this. I really like the "puzzle" and the set this special takes place. I enjoyed this one quite a lot and I can't wait to watch Another Ending(s) after this one!

So anoyed!

I was so anoyed the first 3 episodes of this drama by Ha Ram who just can't take no for an answer and kept invading the personal space of I Jun and kept touching him without permission. I was very surprised I Jun let everything just happen and didn't really do anything against it..
And it was so unlogical that in episode 3, I Jun hated Ha Ram at the beginning of the day, but on the same day willingly end up in bed with him... and be completely in love the next day..
Then his ex comes in the picture and he stops communicating wit Ha Ram and hire his ex?
Sorry, but this whole script is just a big mess.

The visuals and the music are beautiful and the acting was good too.
There was a bit chemistry and the kisses were ok, but not great.

Overall i didn't compltely hated it, there were good parts, so it won't be a commplete waste of your time to watch this, but be prepared to be anoyed.
