The Perfect last episode. No exaggeration.

I have a private list called "Rewatchable BLs", and the only other BL on that list is the actual Fake Fact Lips show.

This last episode completed the entire series on an unbelievably satisfying level. It quite literally took my soul to a different dimension. Every time I finish a drama that I enjoyed and would probably revisit, the last episode rarely lands the way this one did.

But I need to mention that this feeling could only be fully expressed because I watched their dynamic unfold in the actual show; all their bickering, flirting, and misunderstandings.

Quick last note: If I were to ever lose my memory, this is one of my top TV shows I'll watch.

Jane X Jane: Dark Romance, Words of Affirmation, Mind Games

The first episode was indeed an enjoyable watch, but what will happen after?

Something tells me this story is going to be far more than what the first episode delivered, and I’m eager to see what else it will bring.

It may seem like sweet romance on the surface but it’s nothing like that, I’m sure.

The plot is intriguing, mysterious too, it pulls viewers in. The acting is also great, chemistry is amazing, and the men are gorgeous.

But I’m curious to see how this “manipulative” ML who’s using the MC’s love language (words of affirmation) to draw him in, I’m curious to see how he would eventually fall head-over-heels in love.

You better join the watch train now, this is another promising Thai BL.

(I’ll edit as I watch)

Love can't be hidden in the Eyes of Inlove

I long set aside this drama at first bc the vibes gives another drama I've watched before. And running out of dramas to watch I give it another try and it never disappoint. At first, to be honest i have my doubt and I even said to myself that if Fl and Ml chemistry aren't even that good I'll drop it.

I expected a angst between them but they never did, but its vice versa of it. Even hiding their identity to one another, that switch soul made more sense and its not even draggy as i expected that it become a bridge between them.

I can say that Fl and Ml did so much better, I'm giggling with their yearning, even the 2nd Lead did not disappoint, as my rating of the supporting cast. The story is well stitch, I've seen the message the writer wanted to portrait it is a love story that doesn't have to be a full of misundertanding but it became a understanding and giving each other a safe space.

They become the better person, seeing and experience different life. Big thumbs up for this its one of the best drama I've watched.

What a bunch of nonsense

I watched Series 1 previously and were ready to drop that series by episode 9 due to the terrible acting of the FL (Zhao Zhao Yi). The storyline called for a very independent, savy, smart, kind and brave " heroine" type which the FL actress interpreted/ turned into a 5 years' old character with baby talk, whining, throwing tantrums, phony little girl laugh and puck faces that looked more like an angry blowfish than cute. Terrible, over the top , annoying acting. I really liked the rest of the crew, the ML and his subordinates and the other female actors. So I continued and after episode 10, the FL's acting finally got "reined in/toned down" and became somewhat tolerable, still not likeable.
Sequel 2-- A little bit better and more quality production but the storyline is pretty much the same. The FL with the phony little girl laugh, attacking, constantly arguing with the ML, nagging, overall difficult. Her character is pretty hypocritical as she is supposed to be very independent, doesn't need anyone' help smart and brave...and yet...the actress is actually portraying a clingy. overly jealous, ALWAYS, saved by the ML character . How independent is that? Then the script "time travels" into the future by featuring a waterbed in Ancient China that wasn't actually invented until the 1960's in the West/USA. Or the guillotine scene, as this method of execution was never ever used in Ancient China. Furthermore, the script transferred today's /21st Century social issues of a large number of young women of today not wanting to get married and have kids as their careers are more important than anything else in life. Not to mention the emasculation of men in general, i.e. in the storyline, the ML is always wrong and always, always have to apologize to the FL. A brave, gorgeous, fantastic male character is reduced to a fearful puppy in front of the mediocre looking, not so talented FL. Seriously? These type of issues were most certainly NOT present in Ancient China's society and women like these would have had extremely short lifespans going against prevalent social customs of the era.
Good Stuff. Very talented and likeable characters ( except for the FL). Beautiful scenery. Beautiful customs, great fight scenes and music. Final few episodes have actually saved lots of the previous nonsense.
Many thanks for the hard work of the production team and maybe if there was a different FL (like Bai Lu) this production would have been a solid ten.
I will not be rewatching nor recommending this series.

PEAKED BL

ABSOLUTE CINEMA
Plot is plotting
Cast is casting
Chemistry is chemistrying
The production team is producting
The director is directing

I'm speechless, in the span of 12 episodes I laughed, anxious, crying, it's all there.
Seriously what should I say?
It's perfect.

That's it.

I absolutely loved this show and how satisfying it was. It also didn't just focus on the students but teachers as well and parents. Everyone one of us needs help and also have lessons that need to be learned. This isn't your typical show because usually when it comes to politicians, they always showcase them as the "villains" of the show, however the father in law was a very important politician and went against usual protocol of society.
Even though this is considered more of an action kdrama than a comedy the amount of times I've laughed in every episode should be concerning. The comedic relief on this show is actually insane and unexpected. I was in tears when she jumped out of that window and said she could fly (iykyk)
Side note: GEUN DAE AND IM HAN RIM ARE SOOO CUTEEE! >.<
They stole the show for me even though they weren't showcased that much but the way she got sober had me screaming

The only complaint I would have is the backstory of the fiancé. I understand that she was trying to be a good teacher and trying to give him many chances, but I just feel like she was overstepping her boundaries as a teacher. To me there were lines that she crossed. She was picking him up and touching his cheek like he was her own son. It could be cultural differences? But I just know that teachers from the US would NOT go that far for a student.

Other than that everything about this show was amazing and I'd 100% recommend it!! ^^

Well, that was truly a journey...

I see that for some people the story felt like going back and forth between present time and joseon era in maybe a tiring way; for me, it kept the storyline pretty interesting, and helped to understand some context and the connection of some things. Sacrifice, suffering, and love would be the three main things I saw throughout the serie, in a good way. Also, loved the lesson of not letting "fate" define your whole life when you are the main responsible for how you conduct your life.
I actually enjoyed "My Royal Nemesis", and would say it's worth it to give it a try.

The chess game of parasitic obsession and fragile egos.

'Notes from the Last Row' is a masterclass in psychological manipulation that left me completely torn between admiration and disappointment.

Heo Mun Oh, a failed, greedy, wrecked writer and Korean literature professor, meets Lee Gang, a talented writer from the last row of his class. Upon the brilliance and intelligence of story narration of the younger, Mun Oh offers one-on-one classes to Lee Kang for improving the younger's knowledge and his own curiosity (to win something in life).

As the story unfolded, it was not just about teaching classes on literature to improve Lee Kang's writing skills but utilizing them to unveil someone's life in literal words, in several prescriptions, and in descriptions, without consent.

I see Heo Mun Oh as an unreliable narrator-character at the start when he bulldozed with Lee Kang's plan of cheating, helping him slip answers to examination questions, just to let Lee Kang continue his assignments, scratching away his own commitment to responsibilities.

Mun Oh's relation with people around him seemed distant and often appeared to be coated.
His bond with his wife, unstable and unlovely, lasted to the end. With his co-workers, he's off on various bases.
I couldn't quite understand how Mun Oh's wife, Cho Hyeon Suk, a psychologist herself, didn't perturb over her husband's distance despite the writer's block, given her own sufferings over many miscarriages and a long period of an unshaken, unconcerned husband.
(Although her emotional exhaustion, keeping up with Mun Oh, is an acceptable coping mechanism.)

I admit that the second episode had me hooked.
Kim Su Hun, a popular writer, had a history of friendship and dreadful moments with Mun Oh, who held the main lead in a long slump of captivity for years.
Nonetheless, it didn't seem like a tragic story to me. Instead, sadly, it looks like Mun Oh destroyed his own career for a friend's derogatory remarks. (I believe there could be more, many more events in his life that might have sparked his ink once again, but only if he allowed himself to sway that way, without lingering, crippling in sulking past.)

The later episodes quite annoyed me and almost tested my patience.
Mun Oh's obsession, thrill, vengeance, and deliberate invasion of Kim Su Hun's life show his desperation and dark yearning to achieve the youthful career he could have had, but the cerebral path he ventured on after the inferior remarks he received is on him. His constant gaslighting and erratic decisions to Lee Kang hindered his progress. Shaped his broken future.

Lee Kang's a menace; his actions, his steady moves, took a toll on the rest of the show. It was not discreet, as Lee Kang's intentions are somehow on the plate, right in front of the nose; one could try to expect his reasons on the whole story of Kim Su Hun, although it was displeasing and troubling at times for the exaggeration of a 20-year-old to keep on imposing himself without a warrant of decent regard, but it was a splendid surprise to realize everything was just his play, a backspace to the real characters we have known—Kim Su Hun, An Eun Ju, Kim Se Yun, and Seon Min Hui.

I had absolutely immersed myself when An Eun Ju got highlighted. It was thrilling to see the new perspective of each character and their little story in the whole play.

Mun Oh at one point blurred his own ethics, responsibilities, and humanity with his perpetual greed, envy, and jealousy.
It wasn't shocking when he asked Lee Kang to write the end of the story, even when they were still unaware of it.
Given how unstable he is from the start with Lee Kang at certain things, denying at the initial stage only to accept and give in to the venturing broken pride of his.
As if, and really as Lee Kang was waiting for the exact call, he used the moments to his own satisfaction, writing a special story and making Mun Oh taste the bittersweet of reality.

However, it didn't meet my expectations when I became aware that Lee Kang's whole doing was just for the mistreatment of Mun Ho 12 years ago. I would have loved to see much more depth and growing insight into the psychological behavior of adult Lee Kang.

I liked Choi Hyun Wook's dynamics with everyone in the drama; regardless of a huge age gap, his unwavering chemistry bonded the strength and quality.
Still, in disappointment with how Mun Oh wasted his years and career, along with his wife's, the ending with his wife satisfied me, but the to-be-continued felt unnecessary. But as of now, as pleasing as it is to see Hyun Wook in a thriller concept and not all stories need pure suspense, I still welcome it.

This story exposes the dark side of creative writing and mentorship.
Not every teacher-student bond is healthy; it can be toxic. It opens the truth of reality, how unresolved trauma and fragile egos play a huge role in lives.
As Mun Oh thinks he is using Lee Gang to live out his successful writing career, he never had, while Lee Kang acts as the ultimate manipulator, feeding Mun Oh's greed and desperation.

The psychological depth of this story is that when you let envy, jealousy, and past insults write your future, you end up destroying not only your own life but also the lives of everyone who loves you.

Kudos to the cast and the team for this amazing show!

Watch this for Alphabet Challenge…

The drama follows Luo Weiqi (WQ) and her husband, Meng Yingchao (YC), who have been married for seven years. Over time, the spark in their marriage has faded, leaving them at a stressful crossroads filled with constant conflict and emotional distance. The tension finally reaches a breaking point when they have a massive fight and mutually agree to file for divorce the very next day.

However, when Luo Weiqi wakes up the following morning, she is shocked to find that Meng Yingchao's personality has completely flipped. YC suddenly transforms from a cold, indifferent spouse into an extraordinarily attentive, loving, and completely "perfect" husband.

While the sudden affection initially seems like a dream come true, the sheer extremity of YC’s personality shift quickly sets off alarm bells for WQ. She begins noticing subtle discrepancies in his habits and behavior that a seven-year marriage makes impossible to ignore. Driven by a growing sense of dread, she launches a quiet investigation into the man living under her roof, matching wits against him to uncover the dark truth behind his transformation and find out what truly happened to her real husband.

The more she digs into the mystery, the more unsettling the truth becomes. As the lines between reality and illusion blur, WQ must fight to uncover the true identity of the man claiming to be her husband before it is too late.

That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers.

This really one interesting short drama. Once again, this is one of the short dramas that have a budget to shoot. The story is clear, the acting is good, no annoying BGM.

If you have a little time to watch, but search for something thrilling, this can be your choice…

A Love that Refuses to Let Go

I just want to start that I'm a ppw fan so this review might be bias lmfao . I've already watched all their shows but decided to make this show as my last show to watched cuz I've heard that this was angst and have a great storyline . And IT DID NOT DISSAPOINT me .

I really loved the casting so far and I've seen some reviews saying some parts are illogical like the whole bodyguard and Nueng should be home schooled and etc . While I do agree that some parts aren't realistic but it still did not takeaway on how incredibly balance and the script is also really well written . Some of the scenes really reminds me of CMBYN for the beach part and I really did appreciate that since it's my first BL movie .

As for the main characters such as Neung and Palm . I feel like not everyone can get or some might misunderstood Neung character not knowing the fact that he was still a teen in this show and is being early exposed to danger and responsibility where not anyone can calmly handled it at that age while also noting the fact that his loved ones can also be hurt . That type of burden and feeling can cause heavy anxiety and fear to anyone honestly. I've seen some labeling him as a yellow flag. Idk what to say about that since he did drugged Palm without his consent and as a Pharmacy student that did kinda triggered me 💀

For Palm ehheheh I feel in love with his character like besides of his dreamy visuals , his personality is whole green forest and I love how his so calm , understanding and patient when it comes to Nueng and I love how he can do anything for him while also showing assurance that his doing it willingly . and the way he said to Neung "you're my life" ghadd I feel in love 1000x more . The only downside was the mother part , it did kinda disappoint me but I did understand how he must be feeling really overwhelmed and troubled at that time . I do understand how he dedicated his life for Neung since realistically he wouldn't exist if it weren't for Neung family saving him . Tbh his character really did made my standards 10x higher 😫 . I could write a whole book for this mann 😔

Lastly as for the music, sorry lmfaoo I really am not a fan of it 😭 it's like those songs that makes the scene kinda weird to the point I had to mute it. Personally there only a few scene that fits it and one of those when they were dancing while Palm was drugged. Wish they could've pick better songs or I don't really mind if it were to be a Thai songs cuz the scene and lyrics of the song don't really reciprocate.

Overall this show is great watch, this type of BL is a rear gem. Tbh hope people get to talk about it often especially with the international fans since it's a famous show in Thailand. This show deserves a worldwide recognition but even without that, it still doesn't take away that this a incredibly well-written show 🥹🫶

The male lead is supposed to look much older than the female lead, but he looks so young.

I really love this series. I feel like the male lead is kinder than his usual nature dictates—he is genuinely and deeply in love, to the point of doing things he normally wouldn't do. But I have a small critique: if a man is older and in a superior position, saying he's going to court her doesn't mean he can just sexually harass her like in the drama. It’s bad communication. For instance, even after being rejected, he still tries to kiss her. Knowing where she lives, he just goes there and forces a kiss on her. It's no surprise she rejects him, because she could easily think he only visits when he's horny. Is this really okay?

Even though the female lead kissed him first, that was because she was drunk and she doesn't even remember it. He shouldn't use that to justify to himself that she likes him. Luckily, in the drama, she actually does. Speaking as a woman, even if a woman likes someone, she still needs time to think. They haven't even entered a relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend yet, because a woman wouldn't just date everyone she likes at first sight, right? On the flip side, if she didn't like him, this guy could literally face sexual harassment charges (starting right from when he went to see her at the factory). He acts like he's 18.

As I said, it contradicts the true nature of the male lead, who is a boss at a multinational corporation.

Ultimately, though, he proves himself to be a good enough person—even too good. I like that the female lead refuses to accept what he offers, viewing it as inappropriate to take and just too much. It shows she is a good person. If she had accepted it, he could have gone bankrupt because he probably would have had to take out a loan. Logically, the business must be worth hundreds of millions; holding a 51% stake would mean at least hundreds of millions.

Sangat bagus

Baru eps 1-2 tapi jantungku udah copot 5x. Terus chemistrynya....aaaaa bikin ketar ketir. Yang bikin naik darah cliffhanger eps 2 nya. GA SABAR NUNGGU EPS 3-4
Buat yang suka spy-thriller + karakter cewek badass, WAJIB NONTON. Nyesel kalau skip

Lovely Story

I’m only past first green light, barely scratching the surface of the story but enough to form a first impressions review I want to note right away.

First off, the cast is great. Seriously I admire the talents of these young artists. Since Hidden Love, I haven’t been attached to school aged theme dramas. After third episode though, I am into my feels because the delivery of characters is really good.

Second, the writing. There’s really great liners that doesn’t just sound good, it connects. I’ve been on a rollercoaster of feels, teary even. I mean this story has themes already early on that is binding me to the core. Child abandonment? I don’t want to get into that as I just started but yes, development is flowing nicely as the premise is shaping up.

That’s it for now. I’ll be back at end but really, this is a keeper.
