What's up with the semi incest plot
I get that its to set backstory or wtv and like the show cleared up the fact that ML always saw FML as a love interest not family but like it was NOT reciprocated the other way around???? like to FML that was BROTHER like that's kinda odd icl if you grew up with someone like siblings AND you saw them as a sibling 10 years won't change shitAdditionally, I DESPISE THE SML PLOT why the fk was he so hung up on the fml like wtf bro does not even like her and fml bsf was like RIGHT THERE. Ong it pissed me tf off that the writer insisted on having a love triangle between ml fml and sml. Highkey did jack shit for plot and like made the initial relationship 100x weirder for me I was so happy they took it out in the kr remake cause that was like the worst part of the show
other than that its q a ok watch, the actors were q good w what they were given but due to the love triangle I won't rewatch

How to have a terrible marriage:
Ep 1: I really liked the opening! It turned out beautifully. The audio had those classic clothing-rustling ASMR moments at times. I already feel sorry for Neen; having an aggressive mother-in-law who constantly humiliates and insults you is awful, but having a wife who doesn't defend you—and invalidates your feelings and opinions regarding her family—is even worse. Do better, Ran! I hope I change my mind about you!And the worst part is that Neen has already stated what needs to be done: "set boundaries and defend her"—but Ran is playing dumb! Ran says: "When my mom fights with Neen, she gets a sad look on her face and WON'T ACCEPT IT"... What do you mean "won't accept it," Ran? Should she just accept your mom calling her useless, a bum, spoiled, ill-mannered, or a terrible wife?
I'm sorry, Ran, but it’s pointless to say you love Neen more than life itself if you aren't even willing to tell your mother: "This is my house, she is my wife, and I won't let you treat her badly. Don't visit me until you learn to respect her. When you want to see me, I’ll come visit you, Mom, but you are not going to insult my wife inside her own home."
It’s ridiculous for Ran to say she doesn't want to set boundaries with her mother because she doesn't want "the stress"! Marriage is for the good times and the bad! You have to fight for it! If you didn't want to have to fight someone for your wife's sake, you simply shouldn't have gotten a wife.
Neen doesn't say a word. Ran: "Don't say anything"... Hahahaha.

looking back ts kinda weird
Firstly the FML and ML have a 9/10 yr age gap irl and she was like a FRESH adult filming this and icl it turned me off so I deducted a point for that. Secondly the fact that no one could see her but him and they were FULL MAKING OUT IN PUBLIC made me so weirded out cause if I saw a dude tonguing air in public like im calling the ambulance to take him away and like its multiple occurrences..... they like dating and shit in PUBLIC so bro was just extremely schizo to the ppl around him and NO ONE BATTED AN EYE OR TRIED TO HELP like I dont care if its just a drama bro cannot be out here making out with air..... and like I love OTK but he does NOT look like a student in uni bro does NOT fit in like I can tell he's 30..... so that kinda killed the drama for meI really liked the villain plot and wished they expanded more on it like I wld have defy preferred that instead of ML French kissing air LOL
anyways tldr; decent plot some stuff kinda weird but overall ok drama

We Love Gossip More Than We'd Like to Admit.
Let's be honest: we all love gossip. When a friend gets divorced, a neighbor gets into a fight, or a coworker suddenly quits, sooner or later we all ask the same question: "What happened?" We can't help peeking into other people's lives.Maybe that's why we love movies, TV shows, and theater so much. We sit in the dark, watching the private lives of people who don't even know we're there. We laugh with them, judge them, fall in love with them, and suffer alongside them. Deep down, we all enjoy looking through someone else's window.
We're not that different from Claudio. The only difference is that we usually wait for the gossip to come to us. Claudio goes looking for it. He observes people, earns their trust, crosses boundaries, and turns their lives into literature.
That's the core idea behind The Boy in the Last Row. A story built on a simple truth: we're all fascinated by other people's lives. The real question is how far we're willing to go to satisfy that curiosity.
What I appreciated most about this adaptation is that, although it occasionally drifts into familiar K-drama territory—with affairs, accidents, mysteries, and melodramatic twists that sometimes overshadow the psychological conflict—it ultimately finds its way back to what truly matters.
It's as if someone decided to tell Juan Mayorga's philosophical argument... using the language of a Korean drama.

My June Recommendation movie
Watch this because recommendation challenge from 𝑨𝒏𝒉𝒖𝒂.The film follows the journey of Guo Jing (GJ), a pure-hearted and fiercely loyal Han youth who was raised among the Mongols under the care of Genghis Khan. After spending two years in the Central Plains mastering elite martial arts, he finds his life entangled in a web of devastating misunderstandings, heartbreaking romantic separation, and a looming war that threatens to tear the land apart.
During his time in the Central Plains, GJ meets the free-spirited Huang Rong (HR) , and the two quickly develop a deep bond. However, their relationship is pushed to its breaking point when most of GJ's former martial arts masters are brutally murdered. Misled into believing that HR's unorthodox father is the killer, a heartbroken GJ distances himself from her, leaving her vulnerable to the dangers closing in around her.
Eventually, GJ uncovers the truth and realizes that HR's father was never responsible for his masters' deaths. But by the time he recognizes how deeply he has wronged her, she has already disappeared amid the chaos of a town skirmish. Determined to make amends, he embarks on a desperate journey to find her, protect her from the enemies pursuing her, and finally clear the misunderstanding between them.
Meanwhile, the Mongol Empire under Genghis Khan prepares a massive military campaign against the Southern Song Dynasty, leaving GJ trapped between two worlds. Having been raised on the steppes after his father's death, he owes the Mongols immense gratitude and respect. Yet, his true homeland is Song China, whose people now face invasion. Torn between loyalty to those who raised him and his duty to protect his homeland, GJ faces the greatest dilemma of his life.
As war becomes inevitable, GJ and HR reunite to confront both the madness of Ouyang Feng and the unstoppable Mongol army. Standing firmly on the front lines to protect his homeland, GJ embraces his ultimate destiny as a true gallant hero. With HR’s brilliant mind and his own unmatched martial arts, they stand together against the impending storm, determined to stop the invasion and save millions of innocent lives.
That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers.
What I like:
+ As usual, Xiao Chan's acting never disappointed.
+ I really like that they stick with the Mongol language instead of changing it into Chinese.
What I don't really like:
- Unlike many previous adaptations of The Legend of the Condor Heroes, The Gallants assumes that viewers are already somewhat familiar with the characters and their history. It kinda baffled me in the beginning…
Overall if you are a fan of Xiao Chan you can watch this. But remember, familiar yourself first with the story…

weirdly addicting
Honestly this drama is like q predictable like fml is cross dressing as a man and like ml falls in love gets confused if he's gay and decides fk it he dont care. Nothing too special but icl the chemistry from the leads is so good I just keep rewatching <33 The only part that threw me off was the sml like I did NOT care about bro his death did NOTHING for me alsoI love a good crossdress drama but FML honestly too pretty for me to think she's a man like I can't even think of her as a twink like that's a woman no matter the angle also ML is practically blind cause wdym you can't recognise this beauty despite constantly being in her face??? ignoring all that its actually a good drama and worth the watch I still recommend it anyone who wants a very light-hearted watch w 0 investments like to kill time
tldr: plot is eh but actors and actresses are like so attractive it helps

Double Helix BL is one of those series that hooks you from the very first episode. It blends mystery, suspense, romance, and psychological tension into a story that constantly keeps you questioning everyone's motives. Instead of relying on predictable BL tropes, it builds intrigue through clever storytelling and layered characters.
The chemistry between the leads is natural and emotionally convincing. Their relationship develops amid danger and uncertainty, making every quiet moment feel meaningful. Rather than rushing the romance, the series allows trust, vulnerability, and affection to grow organically.
What truly stands out is the pacing. Every episode reveals just enough information to keep the mystery alive without becoming frustrating. The plot is filled with unexpected twists, but most of them feel earned rather than existing purely for shock value.
The cinematography deserves special praise. The moody lighting, atmospheric locations, and carefully composed shots enhance the suspense while giving the series a polished, cinematic feel. The soundtrack also complements the emotional highs and tense moments perfectly.
The supporting cast adds depth to the narrative, with each character contributing something meaningful to the overall story. Even the antagonists are more complex than they initially appear, making the conflict more engaging.
If there's one minor drawback, it's that some plot points may require close attention, and a few reveals can feel slightly overwhelming because of the amount of information presented. However, these issues don't take away from the overall experience.
Overall, Double Helix BL is an intelligent and emotionally satisfying series that offers far more than romance. It's a gripping mystery with compelling performances, excellent production quality, and enough emotional depth to leave a lasting impression.
Rating: 9.5/10
If you're looking for a BL that combines suspense, mystery, emotional storytelling, and strong chemistry, this one is absolutely worth watching.

Absolute potty plot.
A family is executed for rebellion because they lost the royal edict rag cloth , which commands them to enter the capital, thirty thousand soldiers lose their lives in the conspiracy on the other hand the elite and students of a national institute are also targeted and exiled in this university itself, all this by a single man's command. How illogical.? And that's not enough cause even after all this logic might be in coma but it was still breathing, the rage took its life when these people struggling with sickness denied to get crocin pills from the mountain foot cause they apparently didn't want to be branded rebels. Wow! Forget about proper court representation of their case, but being known for the bureaucrats making machine they didn't even placed proper guidelines for their daily requirements during the punishment was something so stupid and unbelievable. On contrary we had our FL who is not even in her sane mind but getting perfect executions of ministers right after descending the hill, with no man power or martial arts, how convenient.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
The biggest reason this drama worked for me was Lu Feng and Chen Yi Cheng. Their partnership felt so natural. Lu Feng is the quieter, more analytical one, but he's never emotionally distant. There are so many subtle moments where you can tell exactly what he's thinking without him saying much. Chen Yi Cheng balances him perfectly with his sincerity and persistence, and I loved how he wasn't afraid to question Lu Feng while still trusting him when it mattered. Their growing trust and mutual respect became just as interesting as the case itself.
The acting is excellent across the board. Both leads bring so much nuance to their roles that even the quieter scenes are engaging. They don't need over-the-top emotional breakdowns to make you care—you feel everything through the little expressions and pauses.
I also have to praise the writing. Every case, every clue, and every conversation serves a purpose. There were a few moments where I thought I had figured everything out, only for the story to reveal another layer that made even more sense. That's the kind of mystery writing I love.
The pacing can feel a little slower in the middle if you're expecting nonstop action, but I actually appreciated it because it gave the characters room to breathe. By the time the finale arrived, the emotional payoff hit much harder because the relationships had been given time to develop.
Overall, Double Helix is a drama that trusts its audience and rewards patience. It's a thoughtful, well-written thriller with fantastic performances, an engaging mystery, and one of my favorite lead dynamics in a long time. I can definitely see myself rewatching it just to catch all the details I missed the first time.

Confusing storyline
Although i understood what they wanted to convey it really wasnt well thought about. The main character still had the same face but the double character didn’t really go well with the storyline, maybe just maybe if they had another person playing the same person it wouldve been better. Same with the second lead, usually the sedond lead has a good too but this was’st something i would recommend as a must watch. It’s something i would watch just to pass timesince i skipped alot to reach the end.I liked the father character and i believe the actors did their best, the storyline not very strong which directly impacted the viewers interest rather than the acting

I love historical drama
People really do miss out on these period drama, and we got a bonus pond acting in this too?? top notch acting and the actors are so well. Just got to give it to pond, hes good at what he does like 10/10.I might be just rambling at this point but the cast for this drama is so well thought about. Ongsa caught my eye in his previous drama ‘the cursed love’ his eyes convey alot of emotions and Pond in ‘reset’.
Not sure if we’ll get this pairing again because they do go really well together, inn and ongsa.

UpPoom Delivered Excellence Once Again
I absolutely loved Love of Silom from start to finish. Every episode kept me invested, and I never felt like the story dragged or lost its direction. It was consistently engaging, emotionally satisfying, and beautifully paced.Up and Poom once again proved why they're among the finest actors in the BL industry. I already knew how talented they were after My Stand-In, but they somehow managed to impress me even more here. Their performances felt natural, nuanced, and emotionally authentic. They didn't just portray their characters... they completely embodied them.
The story itself is one of the drama's biggest strengths. Beyond the romance, it explores how far people are willing to go in the name of love, the sacrifices they're willing to make, and the difficult choices they face to protect the people they cherish. It reminds us that love isn't always easy or beautiful.. it can be painful, messy, heartbreaking, and full of impossible decisions, yet it's also what gives people the strength to keep moving forward.
I also loved the characters and the relationships they built throughout the series. Every interaction felt meaningful, and each character had their own motivations and emotional growth. Whether it was romance, family, or friendship, every relationship added depth to the story and made the world feel real.
And of course, I have to talk about UpPoom's chemistry. It's simply incredible. Every glance, every touch, every emotional scene felt genuine. They have the rare ability to make you completely believe in their characters' love for each other. In my opinion, UpPoom is easily one of the best BL pairings I've ever watched. Their chemistry is effortless, and together they elevate every scene they're in.
The production quality, cinematography, and overall direction complemented the story beautifully. Nothing felt excessive or out of place, and every emotional moment landed exactly as it should.
Finally, the ending was everything I hoped for. It was satisfying, meaningful, and stayed true to the characters' journey. I genuinely couldn't have asked for a better conclusion.
Overall, Love of Silom has easily become one of my favorite BL series. It delivers outstanding acting, compelling storytelling, unforgettable chemistry, and a beautiful message about love, sacrifice, loyalty, and devotion. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mature, emotional, and well-written BL.
9.5/10.

The story begins when international action star Jackie Chan is invited to attend a special adoption ceremony at a wildlife reserve. There, he becomes the adoptive guardian of a rare giant panda cub named Hu Hu, whose unusual appearance and exceptional genetic traits make him famous around the world. While Jackie simply wants to enjoy his time with the lovable panda, Hu Hu's popularity also attracts the attention of a ruthless international crime syndicate.
The situation quickly takes a chaotic turn when the crime syndicate tries to collect a massive $100 million bounty placed on Hu Hu by a wealthy Middle Eastern sheikh, and a heavily armed team of international mercenaries storms the park to kidnap the cub. Suddenly, Jackie finds himself trapped in a real-life action movie—only this time, there are no directors, special effects, or stunt doubles to save the day.
To protect the defenseless panda, Jackie teams up with his cowardly but well-meaning talent agent, David, and Hu Hu's fiercely dedicated caretaker, Su Xiaozhu. Together, this unlikely trio must rely on their wits, the environment around them, and Jackie's signature improvised kung fu skills to outsmart the high-tech mercenaries and keep Hu Hu safe.
So, how does the story end? Will Jackie Chan succeed in saving Hu Hu from the bad guys, just like he does in his movies? Or will the syndicate ultimately succeed in snatching Hu Hu and claim their prize?
That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers.
This film reminds us that Jackie Chan is getting older. Jackie Chan’s action may be slower now, but his spirit, his comedy remains unchanged. I really like how he kinda changed his action movie to a more gentler one…
If you're a fan of Jackie Chan. This is a must watch…

A Quiet Masterpiece That Stays With You
Notes from the Last Row is one of those rare dramas that doesn't rely on grand twists or exaggerated emotions to leave a lasting impression. Instead, it finds beauty in silence, subtle character interactions, and the emotions hidden between the lines. The pacing is deliberately slow, but every scene feels purposeful. Rather than rushing the story, the drama allows its characters to grow naturally, making their relationships feel authentic and deeply human. The writing is thoughtful, trusting the audience to understand what isn't explicitly said.
The performances are exceptional across the board. The cast brings warmth and sincerity to their roles, creating characters who feel real, flawed, and easy to care about. Even the smallest moments carry emotional weight thanks to the nuanced acting.
Visually, the drama is beautiful. The cinematography captures everyday settings with remarkable elegance, while the soundtrack complements the atmosphere without ever overpowering it. Together, they create a comforting yet bittersweet mood that lingers long after each episode ends.
This isn't a drama for viewers looking for constant excitement or dramatic plot twists. It's for those who appreciate character-driven storytelling, quiet emotions, and meaningful conversations. If you enjoy stories that celebrate ordinary moments and remind us that small connections can have the greatest impact, this drama is absolutely worth watching.

10/10 The Strength of Notes from the Last Row
10/10 The Strength of Notes from the Last RowNotes from the Last Row is good because it combines psychological tension, mystery, and strong character development in a way that keeps viewers constantly questioning what is real and what is not. The drama builds suspense gradually, features excellent acting, and explores complex themes such as obsession, ambition, and manipulation. Rather than relying on action, it creates excitement through mind games, emotional depth, and unexpected twists, making it an engaging watch for fans of intelligent thrillers.
