Great Disappointed drama

Honestly I really like the SML as an actor bcz of his acting skill but in this drama i started to hate him bcz of unnecessary love triangle and focus. After watching some reels on woo joo and his samcheon I was really waiting to watch this drama but turns out a great disappointment. The drama suddenly changed after some episodes and i really want to see woo joo more on screen but can't (even though not acting and just baby things) also the bonding between him and his co parents. The bg story of ML and the current story was good somehow but i just lost my interest when there is more SML focusing even when u expect ML u will find SML it's like the directors are making clown of us.

Pretty Much Everything I want a Coming of Age, friends to lovers romance to be

My rating: 9.75/10
This is an outstanding friends-to-lovers coming-of-age drama that beautifully captures the essence of growing up, navigating insecurities, and building meaningful relationships. Blending heartfelt slice-of-life moments with elements of archery and university life, it feels authentic and emotionally resonant throughout. The characters are exceptionally well-developed, each with their own depth, flaws, and growth arcs that make them feel real and relatable. The central romance(s) are incredibly heartwarming, evolving naturally from longstanding friendship into something deeper and more supportive, with tender moments that linger long after watching. Supporting relationships add warmth and realism, showcasing friendship, family dynamics, and personal aspirations in a way that's both touching and grounded. The pacing keeps things engaging without feeling rushed or dragged out, and the overall tone strikes a perfect balance between lighthearted fun and poignant emotional beats. I highly recommend this drama to anyone who enjoys wholesome, character-driven stories with genuine chemistry and a satisfying payoff. It's one I'll happily rewatch for its comforting vibe and uplifting message.

I was really glad that Lin Xi Chi didn't fully forgive her mother right away—she never forgave here. Instead she accepted the situation and eventually allowed some reconnection, but she never pretended the abandonment was okay or excusable. Xu Fang stood firm on this too, directly confronting the mother about the deep pain she caused her daughter, which felt so validating and protective.

Lin Xi Chi's father was wonderful throughout, and it was rewarding to see her finally fully appreciate his steady love and support. One minor gap in the story was the lack of clarity on what happened with her mother and the new husband/stepfamily dynamics after everything—it felt like a missing piece that could have added more closure.

Xu Fang's parents were fantastic; they already adored Lin Xi Chi and openly welcomed her as family, which warmed my heart.

The second guy, Ye Shaowen (the senior vet), was cute and genuinely nice, but it was clear he wasn't the right match. It was realistic that Lin Xi Chi explored the option, but she definitely dodged a bullet—especially with his mother's overbearing personality, which would have made for a nightmare mother-in-law situation.

Xu Fang had that sundere vibe (a restrained, cool-on-the-surface type—similar to "gaoling zhihua" in Chinese tropes or a milder tsundere/sundere archetype where someone appears aloof or emotionless but harbors intense feelings). After confessing and them getting together, he would sometimes act a little cold or indifferent toward her, shutting her out at times. It stemmed from him grappling with his target blindness issue and the immense pressure/self-doubt tied to archery (and uncertainty if it was truly his path), but it still hurt to see him withdraw emotionally instead of leaning on her more openly. That said, it added realism to his character struggles. But I did feel, at times, like hey dude don't act like that remember you wanted her to like you so much.

Xu Fang's "target blindness" issue was intriguing but underexplored. It seemed tied to overwhelming pressure, self-doubt about whether archery was truly his passion, and internal conflict rather than a deep dive into causes, which left me wanting more explanation. The post-graduation loneliness she expressed—missing friends while he was recovering abroad—felt a bit unclear; presumably everyone was busy with their own paths, but it wasn't explicitly addressed. It felt like if Lin Xi Chi had embraced her friendships more, his withdrawal would have hurt her less. It seemed like the perfect time to lean on friendships.

Her internship struggles made sense, though trying pet stores seemed odd since she already worked in one. I suspected there was a cooling of her friendship with Ye Shaowen after she rejected him and especially after Xu Fang did not seem open to her having a male friend, particularly one that was a former romantic rival. So, I guessed that made her continuing to work at that vet shop uncomfortable for both. But they never really said. What made more sense to me is she needed to level up with an internship in vet clinics or hospitals but some of the call back refusals were from pet stores which was a little confusing.

Side couples were delightful: He Li Yang (her best friend) and Jiang Zheng Xu made such a cute, sensible pair with great chemistry. Lin Xi Qiu (her brother) and the motorcycle girl were adorable—his devotion shone through, especially in sweet moments like caring for her when sick. He

Lin Xi Chi's brother, Lin Xi Qui, was an awesome brother overall, always protective and loving. I was always happy for scenes with her and him. It made for emotional relief after tough scenes with her parents.

The dog was an absolute bonus—pure cuteness!

Nie Yue (step-sister) was a pain at first. I was a little angry for Lin Xi Chi when the step took some things our on her. Totally uncalled for. But Lin Xi Chi handled it so maturely, maybe realizing the girl had some hurt herself and created a nice relationship with her. So what could have been adversarial turned into a surprisingly kind and supportive relationship, which was refreshing given the family history; I appreciated how Lin Xi Chi didn't hold resentment there.

Minor quibbles aside, these elements made the story feel lived-in and real, and the happy ending with marriage and pregnancy felt earned.

Overall it was a near-perfect watch for me!

noiosissima storia d'amore

Still not sure how I feel.

After much hype, I was finally able to get around to watching POB.

Before watching this show neither Song Zuer or Liu Yuning had any shows I especially liked. I distinctly remember dropping Pearl Girl last year because of Liu Yuning.

Funnily enough, his character in Pearl Girl is pretty similar to his role in POB. Still not a fan.

POB was kinda disappointing to me. I think it's surprisingly basic, despite all the huge praise it gets from its audience.

The music was forgettable, the cinematography bland in most scenes, and a terribly predictable plot. I found myself feeling like I was watching a cartoon rather than a mature and competent drama. The tension will be broken up by the most irritating rom com nonsense.

I thought I was investing time in a political drama that would leave me guessing, but I got something else…

ML was so frustrating until almost the end. He was slated to be a master tactician who could clash wits with our FL, but he spends so much of the runtime being petty and immature. So many scenes of the ML sulking about nonsense and the FL having to tip toe around his feelings and stroke his ego.

The ending was dumb, and unnecessary, it was all reliant on some REALLY dumb villains, so the tie up is pretty messy.

Still waiting to be rescued… This is another drama for babies, but I honestly dislike it more than Youthful Glory despite it being objectively better…

Discovering LOVE ❤️ in the era of war.

🌟Plot - The drama is set in the backdrop of war and political turmoil but the main theme revolves around romance and justice. One of the most beautiful aspects of the drama is how it centres around the life of NOT THE ELITE...BUT WORKING CLASS. Its the culture, simplicity, morals and problems of the average man that will take your heart in this drama compared to the grandeur of the palaces 😌❣️ Dear Writer, take your award 🏆

If you are worried about it being too heavy, DO NOT WORRY. Its balanced beautifully with a little splash of humor here and there. This is genuinely deserving of the very high praise its getting. The story is tight knit. It doesn't settle in one place for too long which makes a long 40 ep drama schedule easy to watch. I don't think the Novel talk is relevant here because lengthy novels and drama are two very different mediums. The dramas shouldn't be more than 40 eps in my opinion and this level of execution by the screenwriter is commendable.

🌟Main leads - The main leads have interesting storyline and journeys.

ML - He is trained like a tiger to stay calm, practical and adapt a shrewd approach in the most difficult of the situations. His thirst for justice keeps him alive but he never acts impatiently even when he is badly wounded, literally and metaphorically. IF HE WAS MY GENERAL, I WOULD SLEEP 10 HOURS A DAY. Despite his strengths, his flaws shine the most. He has his insecurities and a ruthless side to him which gives the character some dimension and soul.

FL - The FL possesses incredible strength 💪( physically and mentally). However, her most standout trait is her compassion. The ML isn't the only person whose heart she has melted in the drama. The FL attracts the respect and love of all good human beings BECAUSE SHE DESERVES IT.

🌟Chemistry - They don't lose their individuality and character growth to romance and yet you feel THE ROMANTIC PASSION in their gaze and actions which places this drama in the top tier romance dramas for me. Every little development will give you butterflies🦋 in the stomatch and your heart will jump in anticipation of their next interaction.
Zhang Ling He ❣️ never fails me but here, i must say that its the FL who pleasantly surprised me with her acting and potential. She matched him in the most UNFORGETTABLY BEAUTIFUL WAY.

🌟The cinematography is a 10/10. If you love snow like me, you will be in awe of some of the scenes. ❄️🌨
I also really liked the second couple (princess and counselor) . They're cute 😍

🌟Criticism - MY no 1 CRITICISM of this drama is the villain who is obsessed with a woman. He seems like the over the top fantasy villain. None of his motivations are particularly compelling for acting in the way he does. His villainous side seems very theatrical.

The No 2 criticism is that The writer did the PERFORMATIVE/Superficial "STrONg InDePenDent WaMan" trope that I absolutely hate as a woman. There's soo many instances where the writer has separated the couple for the sake of separating...Her way of giving the FL the limelight is very INORGANIC.

Sometimes, certain writers WANT TO MAKE THE FL STRONG because we love to see them...but they do it at the cost of logic, rationality and taking the focus away from other main characters WHICH HAS THE OPPOSITE EFFECT. It weakens world building and makes the audience believe that if the drama was completely realistic, the FL wouldn't be able to shine. That shouldn't happen with skilled writing. Many a times, the FL heads to dangerous situations without much of a strategy and without alliance like a bull 🐮and magically survives. You can only sell ultra brute strength in xianxia female characters. For historical drama characters, it needs to be balanced with some tact.

🌟In the end, I gave the writer some benefit of doubt. Maybe not making elaborate strategies is her character flaw since she wasn't trained in the millitary or political environment. She relies on brute strength and just goes with flow.

Overall the drama has
1) Hidden identity
2) Strong and kind FL
3) Mastermind ML
4) Martial artist lead couple
5) Contract marriage/ convenience marriage trope
6) Side characters with lots of growth
7) War and bloodshed
8) Politics
9) Heart warming COMRADERY AND FRIENDSHIP.

A love story to remember!! Such a captivating, beautiful story and couple.

I’m absolutely enthralled by this beautiful drama. I don’t usually go for slow slice of life stories, but this one is something special!! I cannot recommend it enough if you like romance, especially one that's equal, with both FL and ML giving and caring for each other.

What makes it so powerful is how it turns everyday moments and the hardships in the 70s into something deeply moving. The quiet scenes between Fei Ni and Fang Muyang feel so real and full of emotion, brought to life by beautiful cinematography and music.

The romance is a slow burn at first, and I did get impatient around ep 14-15. But once Fei Ni confesses, everything clicks. You realize she had loved him all along, just in her own quiet way. After that, boy did she show that she is willing to do anything to stand by his side, just like he had done to support her all along. His love was reciprocated and more. Their relationship feels incredibly real. They don’t fall apart or rely on forced drama. They simply choose each other again and again.

Fang Muyang is such a memorable male lead. Playful, clever, a little reckless, but deeply sincere. And Fei Ni loves him fully, including all his flaws. They balance each other perfectly. Fei ni is so caring, determined and intelligent.
What I loved most is how they bring meaning to the simplest moments, studying together, drinking coffee, joking around, performing for each other and doing little acts of service and romantic gestures for each other. It all feels warm, genuine, and full of love.
This drama shows what a healthy, supportive relationship truly looks like!
It’s not just a love story.
It’s about choosing each other, every day, in the quietest and most meaningful ways.

Chen Feiyu and Sun Qian were incredible. The way they look at each other says everything, like they adore each other to the moon and back! I couldn't stop grinning and gushing, watching these two in all their scenes. Their chemistry feels so natural that they don’t even need big romantic scenes to make you believe in their love.
I’m so glad I kept watching past the slower middle episodes 15-16. Once Fei Ni opens up, she shows just how deeply she loves him. By Ep 20-23, it became one of my favorite cdramas! The ending was perfect. I just wish there was a sequel so I could continue watching how their beautiful life unfolds and how they take on all of life's challenges together! I would honestly watch anything with these two. They feel like true partners, best friends, and soulmates. Such a beautiful and inspiring story!! Highly recommend.

Complicated but uncompelling

I don't know why I finished watching the show, to be honest. It did so little for me that I am extremely compelled to write this review but unsure where to start.

I guess I'll start with the story. The story centers around how the daughter of a prominent Six Sects family, Cai Zhao, partners with the Demon Sect's leader, Mu Qingyan, to unearth the secrets of her parents' generation and bring peace to the Jianghu. In the process, they lie, scheme against each other, and conveniently fall in love. While there is nothing inherently wrong with this setup, it demands some intricate work on characterization to be compelling.

Unfortunately for "Generation to Generation", the characterization slipped on a banana peel and fell flat on its face. The female lead, Cai Zhao, is an extremely flat character. She's an obvious attempt to support China's feminist wave in entertainment and thus has all the qualities of a heroine: righteous, crafty, and admired among her peers. However, her character experiences no real development, depends heavily on plot armor, and is a pathetic imitation of her dead aunt (who everyone blindly idolizes and centers their lives around despite her death THIRTEEN years ago). As an example, Cai Zhao justifies her decision to confront the villain at the end using her aunt's heroism-driven morals despite lacking martial arts capabilities; the show somehow saves her and reframes stupidity as nobility. The male lead, Mu Qingyan, is similarly uncompelling. While he's a genuinely brilliant strategist, he also experiences very little development (the main change is his increasing, unhealthy obsession with our female lead). He's lived a pitiful life, and spends a lot of the time he has with the female lead preaching, faking illness, or treating her like a little kid.

To hide the characterization blemishes, the show emphasizes the relationship between the leads. However, it is full of unnecessary ups-and-downs. The leads don't definitively get together until they're married on the last episode, and before that there is excessive distrust, heartbreak, and naivety. Neither character grows from these dramatic episodes; they never truly communicate and repeat their mistakes. It is a romance that may be compelling for a thirteen year old girl reading their first forbidden romance but very few others.

Beyond the main romantic relationship, every other important connection stems back to the female lead's dead aunt, Cai Pingshu. While Cai Pingshu is not a bad character, the fact that either idolizing her or obsessing over her undergirds every character's intentions and actions undermines the story's emotional current. It's difficult to truly feel moved by the tragedies a bunch of obsessive and otherwise empty characters face.

Despite its character flaws, "Generation to Generation" still had potential to be a watchable drama. Plenty of C-dramas hide behind beautiful editing and decent acting when they lack reasonable plots and still manage to be successful. Regrettably, "Generation to Generation" faces damning flaws in its execution, too.

As other viewers have mentioned, the editing is quite choppy and the script is unnatural. The script has characters always trying to preach at or prove themselves to the audience; they give long, unnecessary monologues in simple or light-hearted moments. The writing is humorless. There is an aggressive, tacky element to the romantic scenes, and simple/pure scenes lack all subtlety. The CGI is the nail in the coffin; I distinctly recall a baby dragon looking like the brainchild of Sora AI and "Merge Dragons". Overall, the story's presentation comes off as heavy-handed and inorganic.

I also found the acting to be surprisingly mediocre. I think the one good performance is from Li Yuan as Yin Su Lian, who manages to portray her character with cold restraint until the eruption of anger and protectiveness at the end. Bao Shang'en is quite good at delivering lines of expressively, but her actual performance suffers from stiffness in less dramatic scenes. Zhou Yiran is a brilliant actor, but his performance misses the fact that Mu Qingyan is on the brink of death. His portrayal creates the illusion that Mu Qingyan is healthy to the end (despite the multiple times he was ill in bed), which limits the intrigue of Mu Qingyan and softens the impact of his decline on both the story and the viewer.

While the trailer of the drama was quite good in my opinion, it's probably wiser to find something else to watch if you have the time to spare. As someone who waited for the "climax" and watched it through to the end, I doubt you'll regret not picking this up or dropping it in the middle.

story of my life

I absolutely loved the moral of the story and character development… throughout watching this drama, I found myself relating yo the characters experiences and especially the Cha household. Growing up with a perfectionist dad who a B was considered a failure for, spending my time doing anything but studying is a waste of time, policing me around, monitoring me, and controlling the way I study… all the emotional (and physical) abuse that I had to go through… just made the cha family speak to me. unfortunately I never had a mother that stood up…
At the same time, I felt agitated by the behavior of certain characters such as ye-seo and her mum… The lake of empathy, the greed… even after their character development it just felt fake to me… but a part of me also recognizes that they were products of their environment. Growing up with parents that embed the idea that grades and positions are everything and your worth depends on them… that care so much about what people think and their honor… I felt like it’s not fair to hate ye-seo for it… I’m sure I was greedy and rude at a point in time driven by the perfectionist ideals and social hierarchy lense I was taught to view the world through.

Just like to many of those families, they tied their worth to getting into SNU, I tie mine to graduating with a 4.0 GPA… I was always ready to ruin my life/humiliate myself/go through mental tortue just to maintain such GPA, because if my GPA is not 4.0, what is the point in anything? am I even worthy of anything? do i deserve anything?

The story telling was just amazing, the satire, drama, plot twists… it’s all just so engaging.

I will definitely be rewatching after graduating University…

i absolutely love this series

Im absolutely in LOVE with BAMBI!
I mean look at those expressions.. and i must say.. Film is doing an amazing job here.. lovvveee her acting..

Milk was a very perfect cast for Shasha.. she can really pull of those baddie vibes with all the girly-ness.. and the girl-boss vibes.. it's wonderful..

Mim looks soo gorgueos in her outfits like awww !! 🥺🥺✨✨

overall.. just 2 eps have been out.. loving this so far..

edit- (after finishing epi 4)

okay, a very unpopular opinion here (i really thought most ppl felt it this way.. but seeing the comments ig im the only one 😭)
this is just a personal view to the primbambi relationship dynamic (we all have different lives of our own, so it is only natural to view such a dynamic in various ways..)
to me, prim and bambi are like soulmates, who have been together for a very long time, and loved each other so deeply.. they been everything to each other.. to a point.. where they literally know each other more than everyone else..

the breakup was just a break from the relationship, both of them couldnt get over, it happened for no reason (i mean ,they both didnot have a fight.. it was an unexplained breakup.. which might be bcz of bambi's mental health )..

bambi is someone very much outgoing, playful, but we do not see her being overly extroverted (being surrounded by too many friends or clingy exes).. even though she is such a sassy character.. up until now, we've only seen how prim's literally her whole world... well, this might mean nothing.. to a lot of you, but i dont know why, this "u're my whole world" kinda love, is always my favourite..

prim, is more of an introverted person, but she is always having ppl around her, she has a bestie, Min (bambi doesnt even have a best frnd).. people like her in the office too.. but she is rather introverted, and it is clear how prim is the most comfy only around bambi.. yeah she can go on with her life, without bambi too.. but that's soo black-and-white for her.. bambi literally "completes" her life.. making it so much more colorful..

i dont know.. why a lot of people are feeling the chemistry is off.. (well, ofc all of us wont have the same povs).. but i feel they have the deepest chemistry here.. being there for each other..

i would like to talk a little bit.. about the issues i saw while reading the comments..

1. bambi's behaviour getting forgiven- well, personally i think, she isnt rude at all.. she's just playful and cute with her gf, who is introverted and loves bambi the way she is.. as an introvert myself, i can confirm, we love these

2. bambi announcing the relationship without talking to prim- umm, werent they almost girlfrnds the whole time? they both cldnt get over, and talked about this, we have seen prim saying in a previous epi "dont get too ahead of urself, im just giving u a chance" (or smtg similar).. which may indicate prim not identifying as bambi's gf.. but i think it was just a cute surprise thingy bambi did for her lover (no hate for this )

3. bambi disappearing- wlw relationships, are always very diff.. someone who has never been in one can never imagine how it is.. they can never understand .. how much an emotional break can mean to someone who needs it really badly.. and i blv.. bambi had her reasons.. she has deep trauma.. and the fact i love the most about her is, the way she never tries any sort of victim card. even though she is this sick.. love her..

so yeah, just my personal views.. feel free to correct me if im wrong somewhere

edit- (after completing ep 8)

this episode healed me in so many ways..

i just cant appreciate enough.. HOW ACCURATELY THIS SHOW IS PORTRAYING WLW RELATIONSHIPS!
idk if others are noticing the details as well..
yall saw how prim talked to bambi whn she found out about her father and bambi's convo? doesnt that shatter ur heart?
they way Min told Praew that she's "alone", in a way, no one should have.. and regretted on spot?
yes that's what happens in wlw .. things are so hard to accept..
these were just 2 little examples.. i am LOVING this show for these raw, real, deep, underrated details.. in a kinda non-serious show.. i never expected to see these truths in a show like this one..
JUST AMAZING-

Brilliant Murder Mystery

Yes, this is a murder mystery, but it's so much more than that. It's a story about four kids that experience an ordeal so powerful at the time, they each carry a burden of it for 23 years, which is present day of this story. A story of murder, regret, first love, deception, lies and so much more.
The adult cast is fantastic, making a great mix of chemistry with each other. Ryoma Takeuchi & Noriko Eguchi are definitely my two favorite, especially Noriko, who is the relentless detective with many mysteries surrounding herself. In fact, each character is hiding something about themselves, which eventually all comes out as you get deeper into the series.
Episode six would definitely be the pinnacle episode for many reasons, but as many questions are answered, many more mysteries are created.
This is the kind of drama you watch the story spider out into so many directions ... and as you get to the final episode, you think you have it all figured out. Guess what, you're not going to even come close as to what the final outcome is for the cast and the story. A truly great final episode leaves no question unanswered, and gives a great shocking conclusion to the original murder from 23 years in the past.
Just a great suspenseful drama, with a touch of everything to make it super entertaining!

"See you never!"

Tange Sazen: The Million Pot Ryo is a famous tale. My first encounter with it was from the 1935 film with a similar title. While the 1935 film took a lighthearted approach, 1982’s was much grittier. Not an unexpected turn from director Gosha Hideo and star Nakadai Tatsuya.

The “Shadow Shogun,” Gurako, convinces the shogun to have the Yagyu clan pay for the temple’s restoration. A sum of money designed to bankrupt them. Not to worry, the oldest Yagyu member of the clan knows of a treasure kept secret for emergencies, hidden within a vessel in the family vault. What he doesn’t know is that the walls have ears and now more than one interested party heads to find the vessel. When an orphan boy becomes embroiled in the mad chase, a one-eyed, one-armed ronin becomes involved…a problem for everyone seeking the fortune.

Tange Sazen had been unbeatable before the loss of his limb and eye. Even now, no one truly stands a chance against him. As cunning as he is skilled, Sazen manages to resolve the myriad of problems the treasure creates, though not how everyone else might want them solved. At 50-years-old, Nakadai still made for a compelling and fierce warrior. This Sazen was cynical, having been betrayed and maimed by people he trusted. Despite his missing arm and eye driving him back to his samurai life, he was still comfortable among thieves and prostitutes. The thieves Yokichi and Ofuji went from being adversaries to allies.

This made for television movie may not have been the highest quality project either Gosha or Nakadai worked on, but it was above average in entertainment as the different factions killed each other off in search for the treasure with Sazen always one step ahead or into his cups. Whatever he was up to, Nakadai’s Tange Sazen was fascinating to watch and worth a look at this older tv film.

frightening but good

The film was terrifying, and the fact that it's so treacherous and that something like that really happened is also very creepy. The first stalker, where you thought he was a murderer, was bad enough, but the real stalker-murder is so much worse. I already suspected there were probably several stalkers, and I found the guy, the murderer, who worked at her house somewhat suspicious. He looked at her so often. But I still think it's good that the film repeatedly led our search for the murderer to a different guy. My first thought it was her employees who helped her because, for whatever reason, he knew her house number.

I also found it really creepy that the stalker, and also the murderer, was always at her house in the evenings, showered, was naked, cuddled with her, and used her while unconscious. I also found it really weird that he cuddled with her again and said he wasn't creepy, and when she almost threw up, he immediately held out a bucket to her as if he were really nice etc.

The Prince and The Lying Princess

What started as a very engaging series derailed itself with a fairytale ending. The good parts were the roles of Nara and Junichi. They actually captured my attention every moment they were on screen. The pacing was nice except for just a little too many flashbacks.

What messed up the storyline:
Makiko manipulating everyone at any given time.
Naoto willingly going to jail to protect someone who doesn't and never will love him.
Junichi using the nurse as a place holder for the one he wanted. At the end, she says she loves him. He is even forced to admit that he loves Makiko. She deserved more respect than that.
Makiko wanted to sleep with her ex-husband then changes her mind when Junichi shows up.
Makiko lying to her ex-husband the entire time without telling him the entire truth. Here I wonder if all fingers pointed at him, would she have allowed him to go to jail for her wrong doing.
Junichi basically inserting himself in Keisuke's life since childhood.
While I understand Makiko's pain, she was rewarded for everything at everyone's expense.
The most unrealistic end to a series about reality.
The last 15 minutes left a sour taste.

So no on a rewatch for me.

First impression

Really strong start. It reminds me a lot of the Japanese series Jack o' Frost. I like the acting, and also the quality of the series itself is pretty good.
But yeah, so far, so good—a little bit sad, a little bit cute; hopefully it will be able to keep its momentum.

Things I liked:
1. Great acting.
2. The main character's boyfriend is extremely understanding and accommodating.

Things I disliked:
1. Communication skills at both the age of 19 and the age of 29 are so terrible, from both the main character and his boyfriend.
2. I don't particularly like the barista who works at the main character's sister's cafe. He is too flirty, in my opinion, for just some barista, especially since I am 100% sure he knows the main character has a boyfriend of 7 years.
3. Main character. I know that it's probably mostly because of his memory loss, but he keeps acting like a 10-year-old brat, and it really pisses me off.
