It's Refreshing. Very Recommended
The characters' growths *chef kiss* It's very refreshing to me, that when I watched this drama the role reversal of how the woman becomes the provider and head of the family. I mean, sure, the ML was amazing too with his principles and his actions prove that. Again so refreshing when her in-laws were good and kind people.Their love story was slow burn and I enjoyed that. Their mutual respect for each other gradually turned into love. Still, I love that moment when I screamed at the screen, now give me the first kiss scene and then it happened few sec later.
I love how this drama showed their up and down and every phase/stage of their lives. I cannot stop watching from one episode to next. I also love that we got to watch their friends stories. Feel sad for Zhou Ye though.
I wonder why they decided to keep both ML and FL looking so young when it had been like 10 years probably since they both married and they went through a lot of things.
Good casting because I can't help but think Zhou Ye really looks like his father the great Commander. The way I was shocked when I saw the ML former fiancée to be, that princess face, lmao her face looks so modern iykwim. The lips filler lmao.

The Dynamic Duo and their Friends.
The story is set in Jingyun Reign in the Tang Dynasty. The gorgeous Tang Dynasty is like a mirror: one side is false, shows peace and prosperity while on the other side ghosts are everywhere.
One of the MOST INTERESTING aspects of this show was the working relationship between Su Wu Ming and Lu Ling Feng(reminiscent of Sherlock and Watson). Su Wu Ming is the brains of the operation and Lu Ling Feng the brawns. Though later Lu Ling Feng becomes more attuned to all aspects of cases.
* Su Wu Ming is often sarcastic and resorts to manipulating people to get results, he has great deduction ability and uses his foresight to solve the problems. Chicken Fed(Mr.Fei)in his first meeting rightly pegged Su Wu Ming, he looked mean and cunning, quite untrustworthy.
*With Lu Ling Feng, what you see is what you get. He is the most honest, upright, rules following General of the Imperial guards. In their first meeting, Chicken Fed(Mr.Fei) pegged Lu Ling Feng as good-looking and righteous, who would keep his promise.
We see these two officials caught in a power struggle between The Crown Prince and the Eldest princess of Tang(Crown Prince's aunt) . Su Wuming and Lu Ling Feng have to soothe the ruffled feathers of the royals while trying to seek justice and solve bizarre cases.
*Another issue highlighted in this series is the struggle of common people. For Common people what matters the most is living their daily life peacefully, they do not care about the power struggle between the rulers. The ruler who gives importance to their welfare and ensures they are provided with basic necessities is the ruler they would choose.

Episode 1 to 5 - Chang'an black tea and missing brides
Su Wu Ming(Yang Zhi Gang) Sheriff of Chang'an County, the discipline of great Detective Di Renjie, is of the opinion that there are no ghosts and no demons in this world Then who or what is responsible for the cases of missing brides of chang'an and what do all these disappearances have to do with Chang'an black tea that is in rage and so much in demand that there is a black market for it, even Her Highness drinks it. After drinking this tea the elderly will feel refreshed and their physique will stretch after drinking it. After young people drink it, their yangqi will overflow and they will have infinite energy. It is said if someone drinks it often, he can even reach the fairyland and dance with the deity.
Sheriff Su Wu Ming a replacement for the recently deceased Sheriff Wu Daqi, has stumbled upon a strange case. Since last one year, every month one bride goes missing and corresponding the missing brides' cases the price of the infamous expensive hard to find Chang'an black tea's price is increasing every month. Strange deaths are associated with the drinkers of the tea. Sheriff Su suspects that there is a prohibited ingredient mixed in the tea causing people to hallucinate and then become mad due to excessive addiction, leading to their premature death.
Sherif Su Wu Ming teamed up with General Lu Ling Feng(Yang Xu Wen) of Jinwu guards who also wanted to be the disciple of Detective Di but was rejected whereas sheriff Su Wu Ming was a disciple of Detective Di. Lu Ling Feng holds a mild grudge against Sheriff Su at the beginning. Slowly both people with opposing temperament and different working methods merge their efforts to solve the cases. Sheriff Su has been assigned the case of missing brides, in the first few episodes only four dead bodies have been discovered the brides dead bodies had been kept in four directions like a ritual, Sheriff Su from the private notes kept by Lu Ling Feng of the missing brides deducts that rest of the eight bodies of other missing brides are hidden in strategic places. Lu Ling Feng is assigned the case of the mysterious Chang'an black tea by the crown prince himself who instructs Lu Ling Feng to assist the Capital Tea Alliance to investigate the case however as the prince doesn't issue a written order, Lu Ling Feng has to investigate this alone without the support of imperial guards. Also there is a strange mystery surrounding the deceased General Xiao, fiance of Miss Xijun, the daughter of Pei Jian, Assistant Minister of the Ministry of personnel. General Xiao Bozhao died on a battlefield but Miss Xijun insist on marrying him and the picture she has drawn of a General Xiao is actually a portrait of General Lu Ling Feng.
The killer killed the bride Dou Cong and stuffed her body with spices so that the body would not decay for days, later the spice was identified as Soul Returning Incense by Chicken Fed. Answer to this could be obtained in The Ghost Market, two people seem to be behind these mysteries, one is a masked person addressed as Immortal Venerable, wearing the mask of Fang Xian God and the other person, face and form changing masked, omnipotent Yin Shilang/Lady Shiyi. Yin Shilang claims to be a dead man using Soul Returning Incense to prevent his body from decaying. It was believed that Yin Shilang became immortal a few days ago.
After the Lu Ling Feng is asked to handle the black tea cases without imperial guards, Su Wu Ming cleverly uses greed for more money to convince the 19 constables of Chang'an county to help General Lu. Chicken Fed, an eccentric, poor, chicken stealing brilliant doctor, reveals that the backyard of government office of the West market have some bizarre herbs growing. It was later discovered that flowers for making Soul Returning Incense are grown in that backyard. Su Wu Ming also deduces that the prohibited ingredient in Chang'an black tea was Western Magic Grass.The toxic Western Magic Grass/Hades Grass has been listed Prohibited since Sui dynasty. Lu Ling Feng breaks into three isolated suspicious yards in Chang'an and discovers Western Magic Grass growing there.
The link to the missing brides and Chang'an black tea was, All the brides disappeared at the beginning Or end of the month, while every new batch of the tea was released during the third and fifth day of the month. It suggests the two cases are related.

Episode 6 to 8- Deserted Gantang post mystery
No good deed goes unpunished. Caught in a power struggle between the eldest princess and the crown prince both Su Wuming and Lu Ling Feng suffer . Lu Ling Feng is ordered to be flogged 30 times by the crown prince, his house and lands are confiscated, he is expelled from chang'an. Su Wuming is appointed as the military commander of Nanzhou by her highness and ordered to walk all the way to his post and think carefully. Lu Ling Feng becomes personal staff of Su Wuming and they continue their journey to Nanzhou on foot. They come across a deserted government Gantang post, only a corvee is staying there, Liu Shiba. He seems to be hiding many things and warns these two not to wander around at night as there are ghosts in other rooms. (It was supposed to be scary and mysterious but I couldn't stop laughing at the sheer number of people who wandered into that deserted government post in one single night???)

Lu Ling Feng after being dismissed again by imperial decree, leaves the post of sheriff of Ju County. Lu Ling Feng gets impeached and dismissed while Su WuMing gets a promotion. Su Wuming, is promoted to be the military commander of Ninghu, it is a prosperous place located South of Chang Jiang River . Su Wuming tells the legend of Tuo, ancient people say that when crossing the rivers and lakes one must not leave his or her blood on bushes.Otherwise once it is licked by Tuo living in the water one will be possessed by the soul of Tuo and they will be doomed. Tul means alligator. There are two groups in Ninghu, one who wants to burn down the temple of evil God, Lu Yong with his accomplices. Another group led by chief Shen, who wants to generate fear in hearts of people in the name of Tuo God. Everything in Ninghu is controlled by the worshippers of Tuo God. There are many superstitions stories as to how Tuo God would punish non believers. Everyone is forced to worship Tuo God. People believe, Tuo God who is alive meets his worshippers from behind the curtain every year on the 3rd of March (double third festival) , the day of God's birthday he shows his body which is several feet high. Is administrator of Ninghu, Gu Wenbin corrupt or just a coward? Is Prefectural Governor Li Yu really dead? What is the Governor's daughter, Yingtao's role in the events? Episode 27 to 31- Deadly Face Flower

Su Wuming is informally appointed as the administrator of Luozhou, he refuses to accept the position because he is not given a formal appointment. However he decides to accept the case for which he had been summoned by the princess there. All women are applying a new rouge, face flower for beautifying. It is said once the flower is soaked and applied on the face, it melts into skin. However after 81 days instead of transforming the women into beauties, it is burning their cheek flesh. Even the princess has used it and if the culprit is not found in time to get an antidote, the princess also may suffer the same consequence as other women. The Benevolent side of the princess is revealed. What is the connection between paradise inn and the face flower? What is the mystery of Lu Ling Feng's childhood?

It has a total of 36 floors, allusion to Chinese myth of heaven. 3 floors in the underground and 33 floors above the ground. A magic show will be presented. The emperor will invite all officials, envoy of different countries and the people of Chang'an will enjoy the magic show together. An arrow shooting wooden bird that seems to be the creation of magican Sass seems to threaten the peace. Sass wants to settle score with the court, he is a magician as well as a killer. Where is Sass hidden? What is the real identity of the author of The Tales of Sass, a banned book? Will Sass come to take away Helan Xue? Who is the real mastermind?

Overall: A good mystery series with interesting protagonists and short arcs of mysterious events having elements of the supernatural but at the end there is a logical explanation for all events. Even better is the revelation of mastermind at the end... I would never have thought that person was responsible. Must Watch.

A Growth
I got hooked with this movie. Although the romance scene is so few, but what's interesting in this drama is about the pilot's life. Everytime we are on board, we've never thought about pilot dan crew members' hardship.This drama told a lot about Cheng Xiao's path into being a Captain. At first she is too headstrong, almost nothing can break her confidence. Later, we saw her slowly matured, slowly accepted all opionions about her shortcomings, and how she became better and better.
I didn't really like Gu Nanting's character, even until the end. At first he rejected Cheng Xiao, beacuse of his guilt about Ni Zhan's sister death. I thought he would change, but even until the end of the episodes, he was still the one who shouldered everthing, never talked about his problems. I thought it would be better if he changed as well.
Anyway, this movie is so realistic, covered so many cases and realistic problems, made me on the edge of my seat, especially about the plane's cases.

What the hell was that show
If you’re thinking of watching this show, don’t. It’s a waste of time.1) The plot is uninteresting and repetitive.
2) No one in this show had even a slightly interesting background story other than Ruy Si O.
3) The love triangle of the grandmother took way too much screen time.
4) Nam soon and the Kang Hee Sik rarely has any romance scenes, which would've been a way to save this godforsaken show.
5) The acting was over the top and CRINGEY
As someone who loved the classic Strong Girl Do Bong Soon, I had a lot of high expectations for this show, it was pure disappointment.

Dreams & passion are discovered, sometimes cherished but most of the time tucked away with the facade weight of reality or external circumstances and barriers in which nests isolation from achieving. Overtime become relics collecting dusts and harbouring regrets throughout life until the flame is reignited or the death of the past ego. A drama with a well-balance of story-telling, life lessons, and emotional adventure in a slice of life through the family of an elderly man.Those with artistic backgrounds, close relations with grandparents/grandchildren, experiences with Alzheimer's it will create additional layers in the dimensions of emotion.

THAT WAS SATISFYING!!
Vigilante was such a thrilling ride!! I enjoyed every bit of it. It's always good to watch dramas that fight against the corrupted system & this provided such a satisfaction. The plot was so good and the action scenes were so satisfying to watch!!Loved how it started off with Jiyong alone but slowly we built up a gang with our fan, the reporter and finally even the cop joined us and they all protected him because they knew that someone had to fight against the system atleast that way
Nam Joo Hyuk nailed his role as Jiyong & all the actors did a great job!! The ending showed that one man can't changed the system that easily & the corruption won't stop but Jiyong and the gang will also not stop fighting against it so we NEED another season with all 4 of them working together and fighting corruption

A big Disappointment!! I hate what they did to Ryu Shi Oh's character.
SWDBS is one of my favorite kdrama but SGN is bullsh*t. I give Strong Girl Namsoon 1 out of 10. Here are the reasons why…Let’s talk about positive things in this drama;
1. This is a Comic drama where I wasn't expecting logic.
2. Min-min couple cameo:
Park Bo Young as Do Bong Soon and Park Hyung Sik as Ahn Min Hyuk are the cutest couple in the kdrama world. Their cameo is the reason for me to watch this.
3. Kim Jung Eun as Hwang Geum Joo mother of Namsoon:
Those who didn’t watch the drama might think that this kdrama is all about Hwang Geum Joo and she is the main lead cuz she lit the screen and we saw her as an ML instead of a supporting character.
4. Fans including me love the villain Ryu Shi Oh aka Byeon Woo Seok:
Yes, He is the villain so he should at least die like a villain and not just a side character. I was disappointed with the writer cuz they didn’t do justice to his character instead killed him pathetically. Cuz of his popularity he could have become the greatest villain of the Kdrama world but writers did him wrong. I wasn't shipping him with Namsoon obviously cuz he is the villain so make him bad but not pathetic, please.
Now the minus points and why fans don’t like this drama much;
1. Lee You Mi aka Kang Nam Soon acting is cringe-worthy:
She gained quite a popularity after the Squid game and All of Us Are Dead. In the beginning of the few episodes she was doing okay but in the middle, her acting was getting more and more cringe. she tried so hard to look cute that she forgot to act and in the last 2 episodes, she was so done with her acting.
2. No chemistry between the main leads:
Their romance was forced and not what we enjoy, they have no chemistry between them. There was also no love triangle cuz she was friendly with Ryu Shi Oh and some fans shipping them. The director and the writers could have made the main lead romance worthy to watch but they failed.
3. Lots of side characters with story and screen time:
My question is why? those characters have zero contribution to the story. There are lots of unnecessary side characters who are given screen time instead of creating chemistry between the main leads.
4. Namsoon's grandmom Gil Joong Gan has a much more interesting love life than her.
5. It’s not only Lee You Mi who did bad acting but other characters also do that and the fact that Hwang Geum Joo throws money on everyone's faces and they just accept it like Namsoon's adoptive mother she won’t even hesitate and happily accept it like a bagger.
7. The whole story roams around a drug case related to a Russian mob group and in the end, they still have not completely resolved it.
8. Creating Ryu Shi Oh emotional backstory with an extremely difficult childhood and then showing that he is doing that to find his friend (in the starting) and in the end, his same friend just came to kill him… is so messed up what writers wanted to do?
9. There were lots of plot holes and things which were not make any sense which we could have ignored if the drama gave us something to ignore.
The only reason for me to watch the whole drama was Byeon Woo Seok and it was so difficult to finish this drama… I had to force myself to watch the last 2 episodes It was unbearable. I give it 1 star please don't make Season 3. I will not watch it!!
I don’t recommend Strong Girl Namsoon even if you are a Strong Woman Do Bong Soon fan.

Nam Joo-hyuk: The Versatile Actor Who Leaves Audiences in Awe.
Nam Joo-hyuk's acting, He is truly an exceptional talent who brings so much depth to his characters. It's fascinating how effortlessly he portrays different personas, leaving us in awe of his versatility. The second fake vigilante( i forgot his name ) who helped jiyong in the series definitely left us with so many questions, right? i am hoping for a second season that will provide more insights into his background and origins. Nam Joo-hyuk's acting is praiseworthy, and I can't wait to see more amazing performances from him in the future!His ability to bring authenticity and emotional depth to every character he plays is truly remarkable. Whether he's portraying a complex, troubled soul or a charming and charismatic individual, Nam Joo-hyuk's talent shines through. And those anger scenes? They are so powerful and intense, showcasing his ability to express himself physically and emotionally in a captivating way.
The Vigilante is such a great series, and I wish that it would have been awesome if Seonwook didn't die and if they had exposed the truth in the end. It's those unexpected twists and turns that keep us on the edge of our seats, right? I'm eagerly waiting for a second season.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that the crew of the show hear our wishes and give us another season with the same incredible cast. Nam Joo-hyuk's talent is truly infinite, and I have no doubt that he will continue to captivate us with his performances in the future. So let's stay tuned and eagerly anticipate what's to come!

PERFECT COMBINATION DRAMA
I can't count how many times I have re-watched this drama since 2022 until now, I failed to move on because for me this is a masterpiece drama!?Cheng Shaoshang (played by Zhao Lusi), she is a beautiful, brave, and clever girl. However, despite all her strengths, Shaoshang always felt unlucky and never lived a happy life. She was abandoned by her parents for war since baby and lived with her evil grandmother and aunt so she never felt love.
General Ling Bu Yi (Leo Wu), he is a handsome, powerful, clever, and charismatic man. He lost his family since childhood and was adopted by the emperor and empress. He has many achievements and titles at a very young age.
Two people with all their flaws, who have a sad story and had family problems meet and fall in love with each other. In the middle of their love journey, they encounter many difficulties and challenges, have to experience painful separation, until finally living happily together! (★ ω ★)
Not only Leo Wu and Zhao Lusi, but all characters acting are a chef kiss! I think this drama always be a legend in C-Drama and remembered by many people until many years to come!!

Briefly, let me explain.
I understand how the first few episodes she views him the eyes of adoration, but his flirtatious nature was already present from the very beginning and that was really off putting to me. I know some people can have flirtatious personalities, just like he does, but to act like that towards your best friend's sister who is 5 years younger than you? When she's still a minor? Nah I'm sorry but that really threw me off. I'm not screaming pedophelia like some other people here but I still found it a bit weird.
With that being said, they really did have good chemistry. The later episodes were so sweet and they were adorable. Nothing I would say was mind-blowing, but compared to other C-dramas it was pretty good. Their acting wasn't bad, they managed to make scenes which could've been extremely cringy feel fairly natural, I was surprised. But with that being said there were still times where it felt forced. I don't blame the actors per se, more so the script itself felt unnatural. It is fiction, but it felt like a fan novel come to life at times, especially in the dialogue. That made it difficult for the actors to act convincingly 100% of the time. It would go back and forth with natural and non-natural.
Plot wise, nothing special. It's been done before, it's nothing new, they didn't add anything new to it. It made it easier to watch, yes, but I honestly had to skip through some scenes cause nothing really grasped my attention. I gave it a high rewatch value due to it fitting as a comfort show, and the music was nice.
Overall, it was a cute watch. Nothing I would say is special but I understand why people like it. It's easy to watch, they chemistry is nice, and they actors are attractive. But besides that nothing in it made it the masterpiece that some people make it out to be. We all have different opinions, so if you enjoyed it to that extent, I'm happy for you, can't relate though lmao

LIU SHI SHI THE ACTRESS THAT YOU ARE
It's been a long time since Liu Shishi did a historical drama, she did so well in martial arts to eyes acting, and she plays a charming complex character successfully. Her movements are all so elegant and clean.The plot has been so interesting, FL is my favorite character so far she's heartless and ruthless but caring at the same time, and always has a soft spot for those who care for her, moreover, the director also plays a great role to capture the beauty of FL and her martial arts, the cinematography is good enough.
In the end, this drama deserves more recognition although it's already famous in China because of Liu Shishi.

Its an amazing series!!! My heartful thanks to whoever was involved in this amazing production!!! I really appreciate this gift to mankind!!!Everything was amazing about this story. Right from the acting ( OMG, the acting!!! Especially in the scene where Tak Woo Suk confronted Yeon Seung Ho, OMG!!! It was literally the best acting piece I have ever come across!!) to the story, to the CHEMISTRY - I mean, for 2017, no scratch that, even for 2023, its a GREAT job!! Most BL actors look like they wanna puke just at the thought of romanticising the other person, but this pair, really did a great job at keeping aside their personal preferences to depict character emotions!!

WORTH TO WATCHING DRAMA!!!
This drama is very popular, I saw a lot of clips everywhere almost everyday. At first I wasn't interested in romantic teenager dramas but I tried to watch a few episodes and BOOM!! I REALLY liked this drama, I watched it marathon in 3 days!!^o^I watched a lot of cdramas and several times saw Zhao Lusi's drama (Sang Zhi), she played her character very well as usual and made me fall in love with her cuteness:3
Chen Zheyuan (Duan Jia Xu) I've known him for a long time but this is my first time watching his drama! His acting is really really good and his eyes is very beautiful, I will watch his other dramas!
The chemistry between the Female and Male Lead, Duan Jia Xu with Sang Yan (Bestfriend), Sang Zhi with Sang Yan (Brother-Sister), Sang Zhi with her Mother and Father, and all of them are the best! Sang Zhi's harmonious family makes me really jealous, one of the cdramas that I will rewatch over and over again when I'm tired because the story is very light and booster my mood!!!

Sweet Romance Teenager Story!♥
My new comfort drama ever!! The plot is very simple but really beautiful, I really enjoyed watching the drama which made me smile without realizing it^^ Zhao Lusi as Sang Zhi and Chen Zheyuan as Duan Jia Xu are the right choice and really suit their characters well. Their chemistry was extraordinary and look so natural♥I like seeing the development of Sang Zhi's character from a cute and spoiled high school student to a mature, brave and open-minded college student also Duan Jia xu, very dreamy character, wondering where I can find a man like him ಥ_ಥ
One of my fav cdramas that I would recommend to many people because this drama really worth to watching over and over again!

Man's best friend
I really like how the story plays out I don't feel like they tried to rush the story they really took their time in building up the characters and who they are and what they stand for, depite me have a fear for dogs these are one of those dramas that make me rethink 'do I really have a fear for dogs?' And builds the ever so slight chance of me getting a dog in the near future I really like it that a both the dog and the characters have a strong bond nearly unbreakable bond that really wants you to like dog no matter how scared you may be of dogs, in the end sometimes we need a companion.Was this review helpful to you?
