JimmySea did it again!

These 2 actors are pure gold, with an extra trim of diamond in the name of Oaf, the director.

The way these portray emotions is something else. it's in their voice, their whole being. Of course helped by a very moving story, a perfect cast and amazing settings and music, this was such a joy to watch.

In the course of this drama, we get repect for disabled people like Day, who is gradually losing his sight, we get a fantastic analogy with a story in Day;s favorite book, we get redemption for the brother, the mother and the father, we get a happy ending for the best friend, we get the importance of second chances. we cry, we laugh, we get angry and we swoon over how Mhok takes care of Day.

I hated the break-up, but the way Mhok later thanks Day for it is such a flex!

I was maybe only a ;ittle disappointed they put in that 2nd surgery. Story could have been even stronger without it. But i'm not mad. It's already almost perfect as is,

Can you avoid your destiny?

Being murdered by your husband on your wedding day. This is how this series begin.

I was shaking my head constantly. Life is very cruel to Wanwan and her husband. In the first episode you see that Wanwan's father is murdered by Xiao Xuan Yi. She takes revenge and kills him and herself. Did he do it or was it someone else? You can clearly see how Xuan Yi feels about Wanwan. Terrible things happen, but slowly the truth unfolds.

You have to go through all those terrible things with them untill the end. This series is worthy of your time. You just have to keep watching to know who did it and why. Not everything is what it looks like.

Simply wow

Even though I haven't written any reviews yet, I have to write one for this series.
This was a masterpiece. I was carried through so many emotions, happiness, sadness, anger, even I
became shy sometimes. I loved every minute.
Especially with the acting of Jimmy and Sea. I love seeing them both together.
Even here in Germany, Last Twilight got recognition in an article on a LGBTQ+ Website.
Big thanks to everyone who made this series possible.
And please more of Jimmy and Sea.

THANK YOU ! !

First of All, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the staff, the cast, the crew that working behind of Last Twilight Series. . . Jimmy Sea, what a stellar Improvement, their performance were fantastic, ngl I was so surprised how good they are in Episode 2/3 bcs when I binge watched their Vice Versa series around this October, I can't help myself but to watching it in 1.5x speed bcs their acting was bit off. I had no interest on watching Last Twilight when I saw the trailer, but what convinced me into watch the first episode? "BADMINTON" theme. .

After episode 1 - Hmm, That's okay, typical GMM
Then episode 2 - Great, this seems to be fun.
Then Episode 3 - WOW, the screenplay and direction were awesome, this is the series I want to Invest my feeling with
and we witnessed a masterpiece from 4-10th episodes, throughout this experience, I found out that THIS IS MY FAVORITE Thai BL ever. . Mind you that I've been watching BL since I was minor during Love by Chance ?

I'm not a fan of what happened in the last part of 12th episode, but it doesn't mean I should judge the series based on that, bcs the entire run is phenomenal. Once again, Thanks for blessing my winter

"Last Twilight": A Luminous Finale to a Tale of Love, Growth, and Cultural Splendor.

As the final credits roll on "Last Twilight," I find myself reflecting on a story that was as stunning in its narrative as it was in its presentation. Each character's journey was a testament to growth and resilience. Night's learning curve through her brother's mishap, Porjai's renewed trust after betrayal, and Day and Mhok's painful yet growth-inducing breakup were masterfully showcased, culminating in a culturally rich and respectful marriage ceremony that was nothing short of beautiful.

The chemistry between Jimmy and Sea, who brought Mhok and Day to life, was palpable. Their performances were not just acting; they were the pure embodiment of their characters' souls, bringing a raw emotional depth that resonated with authenticity. The mature handling of their relationship, characterized by open communication and emotional intelligence, was a refreshing departure from the often dramatic and concealed nature of television romances.

Night and Porjai's narrative was a masterpiece in subtlety, proving that sometimes less is more. Porjai's portrayal was stunning, and Mark's versatility shone through, demanding greater recognition.

However, the series wasn't without its minor flaws. Day's portrayal of blindness sometimes missed a beat in logical consistency, leaving room for a more nuanced depiction that could have lent greater agency and realism to his character.

In its entirety, "Last Twilight" was a celebration of television's potential to craft stories that resonate deeply with its viewers. Its end marks the culmination of a journey that has been as much ours as it was the characters'.

To the cast, especially Jimmy Sea, Mark & Phojai, to the director, the crew, and every single hand that contributed to this series, your work has left an indelible mark. Thank you for this journey, and may your future endeavors be just as impactful and cherished.

This emotional rollercoaster stole my heart

I just finished it and I feel like my emotions are all over the place. First I am really thankful that there was a happy ending for them. I am not against sad endings. I really believe some stories need them. But I am so glad this wasn't the case. And by a happy ending, I mean the part around the wedding. The fact that Day was content with his life and believed in himself and that Mhok was able to acknowledge his past mistakes made me really happy. Of course, I am glad Day was able to see Mhok at the end but I would be totally content if it ended after the wedding. I know that there were so many things wrong if you look at it from the POV of a disabled person but I can't even be mad about it because Sea and Jimmy are just amazing together. The storytelling was written perfectly, and the atmosphere of each episode had the exactly right amount of sorrow, sweetness, brightness and cringe. It was an azing show and now I am just sad it's over and with what am I supposed to do next Friday?

A story that’s like a song to your heart?

When I first started this drama, though I knew there’s a lot of great reviews about it, I didn’t really put too high an expectation for it.

But here it is - I’m totally engrossed! The foods, the dubbing scenes, and the traditional songs! Truthfully, I always skipped things on dramas specifically when they get too much on the work (online games, aerospace, etc). But this is the first time I didn’t bother and didn’t want to skip because the dubbing scenes and traditional Chinese songs is really interesting and made me want to hear more.

Okay enough about that, the story and characters are well written and played too.

The main character, our perfect green-flag Mo Qingcheng and our multi-talented Gu Sheng. I love how direct their love story is, with no painful break-up or third-party interference. Still, IT’S NOT BORING because the flow makes it still so heart fluttering.

Meanwhile the side-characters ARE ALL VERY SUITABLE and FUNNY. Some dramas side-characters are boring or too forceful in the story, but I surprisingly love all the characters here and their stories are cute too. Even their third-wheeling is okay with me because it’s always funny. I just love their friendship so much!

All in all, I definitely made a great decision to watch this despite not knowing either of the actors/actress and just relying on the plots alone.

I suggest you all to give it a try too!

TOO BEAUTIFUL TO BE REVIEWED IN WORDS

I'm in a shortage of words because I don't think any human language can possibly depict how beautiful this journey was !! I had no expectations while starting this show because GMMTV series are not that impressive nowadays but when I gave it a chance it was boomm. I should thank myself for it <3. As there's a saying unplanned things always turn out the best, it was exactly that for me. And i fell in love with them more and more every week !!

This was probably the best BL of the year or of GMMTV production. I'm not much a fan of GMMTV series, i watch them because I don't have any choice. It was the first time I didn't have any complaints about a single thing !! Jimmy and Sea totally nailed it, I was awestruck by their acting because in VICE VERSA (their first BL) they lacked in acting so I was so happy and impressed, now they are my favourite. I think this deserves a lot more hype.

The story, acting, ost everything was point. Director did a great job indeed. Anyways just go and watch you'll surely love it if you're a sucker for slow-burn, well written script, books, nature and obviously the undeniable chemistry ?

I enjoyed the first season of Teenage Psychic because as flawed as it was, it had a certain charm. The second season lost that luster for me. The stories didn’t have the same heart to them and the mediocre acting couldn’t cover over those problems.

(This review contains spoilers from S1)
The story takes up after the first season, and Xiao Zhen is now seventeen. At the end of S1 she had found her smile and her confidence. At the beginning of S2 she’s back to the mumbling, mopey teenage psychic having lost everything she gained. Even the drama club abandoned her for a new “psychic”. Teacher Kim’s ne’re do well brother is in town and starting his own charlatan temple in a psychic competition for devotees. If all that wasn’t enough, Ah Le is back and in the body of an asthmatic suicidal high schooler to take care of unfinished business.

Fandy Fan as Zhang Yu Xuan/Ah Le must have been given the notes to smile all the time. He began to look exhausted from forcing the tight grins. Guo Shu Yao’s notes must have read, never ever smile or look anyone directly in the eye. This time instead of being at ease with each other, the couple felt awkward. There was no urgency or depth of emotion for the two, knowing their time together was going to be limited. Apparently, Ah Le was able to cure Yu Xuan’s health problems just by mind over matter and working out. Also in the awkward department, after living abroad for 2 years, Xiao Zhen’s mother returned home unaware her daughter had been working as a medium at the temple. She’d wanted Teacher Kim to cure her of her visions. No warm greetings or hugs, it was the strangest reunion. Another awkward familial problem, Teacher Kim reprimanded his brother as being opportunistic but Xiao Zhen’s mentor often sold people things they didn’t need to make a buck. The weekly spiritual problems lacked the dramatic weight of the first season. The storytelling jumped around in an erratic manner siphoning off any emotional punch.

Teenage Psychic 2 was in desperate need of energy and heart. Two mopey psychics were two too many. Three bickering adults were three too many. And if they were going to be bold enough to kill Ah Le off in the first season, let him stay gone after the meet and greet at the end of S1. Forcing another actor to try and capture the character’s charm was a disaster. I would also like to have seen Xiao Zhen continue growing as a young woman and a medium instead of regressing so badly. The message of this season seemed to be the living have to keep moving forward, I wish the writers would have learned that lesson and let these characters do the same.

A series that i would want to watch again and again

This made me want to fall in love.

I can confidently say without any regrets that i watched it on air. Got to expeience the beauty of this series every week. Had butterflies in my stomach watching for fridays and trust me not single episode disappointed me.There are very few series that are not meant for binge watching and this is one of those rare diamonds.

The story was made so beautiul that after finishing the entire series you go back to ep 1 rewatch and think that the leads have come a looong way.

Cant deny JimmySea's chemistry is on FIRE!!! Their visuals in this series are just exceptional. I cried with them laughed with them and felt the flutters with them.

This is such a beautiful mix of geners and an amazing love story. I literally felt heart flutters even when the leads did nothing but just looked at each other. That is when you know love is more than just words.

The side characters are fine not that great but ok they support the plot well. Jimmy and Sea just stole the show for me. Must say not 100% of the plot was perfecf but what ever misperfections they had all of it can be forgotten as they have someamazing scenes and well written dialogues.

Oh God the OST's of this series are so beautiful and fits perfectly to the story. My personal favorite "last twilight" by william. Such meaningful lyrics!!!

Must mention, i cried my eyea out every episode, i was involved to such a point that in last episode tears roled down my eyes bu just looking at the leads

Last Twilight has defiently set the bars high for not just BL's but entire Thai lakorns.

Day is not a likeable character

Many won't like me because of my review, but I'll be honest. When I started watching this series I really liked it. But, after a few chapters, I started to find it difficult to understand the character Day. I completely understand the fact that he is angry about losing his vision. I would possibly be even angrier than he was. Even so, I think the script created a very inconsistent character. It is very difficult to understand the character's way of thinking and motivations. Let me explain.
Not long after they meet, Day becomes interested in Mhok and we can see this in the way Day interacts with his caretaker. The series clearly demonstrates that the interest was MUTUAL from the beginning. However, without a convincing explanation, Day rejects Mhok when Mhok confesses his love to him, saying that he likes more affectionate men. It didn't make any sense since Mhok was always kind and affectionate to him all the time.
After they start dating, things seem to be going well, but Day decides to break up with Mhok because Mhok lied about his job. This breakup and his motivation were quite unconvincing. Day has the right to be upset, but ending everything just because of that seemed like an exaggeration. So Mhok is not worthy anymore for just one mistake? He lied for being overprotecting, he was not committing genocide for the God sake! The fact that Day cannot forgive Mhok makes him a bit childish.
Actually, I think Day's character didn't treat Mhok and Night well for most of the series. I hate stories where one of the characters tries everything he can to make the relationship works, while the other just complains and doesn't help at all. Mhok did everything for Day but Day didn't reciprocate in the same way. Day, by the way, never apologized for anything. He treated his brother Night like trash without a justifiable reason (Night wasn't responsible for the car accident) and Did not apologize for that. He broke up with Mhok for a stupid reason and did not apologize also. When Mhok comes back and tries to renew the relationship, he rejects him again as if Mhok was a monster who had made a terrible mistake. How much drama! Then all it took was for his mother to say a few self-help phrases for him to completely change his mind and accept Mhok again. Sorry, but all of Day's fickle attitudes were not justified by what the series showed to us. Day was poorly written.

Quite fun

This was cute and fun! I liked how bright and colorful the show was, it felt like an easy watch.

CCIR sheds light on the competitive educational system, and how it negatively affects students in terms of mental health and behavior towards others (their parents or classmates). Su Ah, for example, may have a nasty personality for most of the drama, but I couldn't hate her because it was clearly a result of the academic pressure she has on her shoulders in order to be consistently high achieving in class. I also blame her mother and any other adult in this show lol. Seon Jae's mom... Su Ah's mental health drastically deteriorated: she had hallucinations and even fantasies about harming Hae Yi. Due to the pressure she felt, she viewed HY as an enemy that needed to be eliminated but we could see that she felt bad and that she was self-conscious. Hee Jae is another example of how academic pressure (and parents) can destroy a person mentally, especially because his mom continued to make the same mistake with Seon Jae.

The found family trope in this show is strong and great, I really liked it. Chi Yeol finally found his people, and Haeng Son's little circle was so wholesome. And I loved it whenever she'd say "Anyway" ?. However, I found the episodes a tad too long, I watched the second half of the show in double speed and also skipped a little. I thought I would enjoy it a little more than I did to be honest. The show is overall 'alright' - I don't know what it is, but it didn't catch me 100%. The OST was okay - average, there wasn't really a song that stood out to me. But: I really enjoyed the relationship between the leads. It offers some sweet and fun moments between all the teasing and bickering and is also overall quite mature. I didn't like how it was never clarified that Hae Yi didn't attempt suicide though. That was bad writing... my girl was kidnapped!

In conclusion: a cute little show that offers an insight into education and its dark sides and impact on mental health, but also a show with fun romance, friendship and found family.

This will make you believe in love again

Man. This series was everything ! 2023 was filled with many disappointing bls, therefore I did not have high expectations for this one either. I thought it was going to be yet another cheesy bl but this time with a blind ml, but my oh my, was i wrong?

This series made me feel so many emotions. I cried with them, I laughed with them, I squealed at their cute little romantic moments, I loved every second of this !

A disabled character is very difficult to play, and Sea did a great job, as always. I have to talk about Jimmy's character 'Mhok'. So, this Mhok is a tough baddie kinda guy, and you could see how his personality literally CHANGED little by little. At the beginning, he was shown to be rough in behaviour, with almost EVERYONE. Day was no exception, but as he opened his heart little by little you could see how he started treating Day oh so gently, as if Day was a fragile glass utensil which could easily break if not handled carefully. His eyes softened, his tone became so gentle and he treated Day so so tenderly that a part of me melted.

The side characters, They were so beautifully written too ! Everyone had a story to tell, and as you watch you would be so ready to listen to all of their stories ! All the actors did such a great job portraying those characters !

I have nothing bad to say about this show and I could go on and on about how much I loved it. This was an absolute 10 on 10.
A MUST WATCH !
So run to YouTube right now and you won't regret it <3

I felt all of the character's stories as to why they joined Rugal were the same with feeling powerless from preventing corruption or a loved one died so feel guilt. Can't lie I wished we see more of Gwang Chul as I would class him as a half-robot. Gi beom I fell in love for and sympathized with when the eyes got out of control and the situation with his life as he tormented himself over it.
The story made little sense so actions seemed irrational and a little crazy and throughout the whole series hated the chief as he didn't seem to care about anyone's suffering he only wanted Argos to die out and yet the chairman we learn is alive. They should've left it at that as their new everyday lives were dull and we only see what Gi beom is doing.
The fight scenes were nothing special as you knew who was going to win before it even started but were good fun
