for me the drama ended in the 8th episode

The plot, and chemistry between the charcaters deteriorated from 8th episode, while the heartbreak was anticipated; the ending was just unecessary?
like you give a plot armour to an antagonist but not the FL?
I wanted to skim to so bad, given the foreshadowing from the 1st episode but I thought maybe, maybe we could get lucky and we'll get an ending like Vagabond.
At this point I was invested in the Captain and Yo Na's story too. But, the plot went down the drain, and not even the leads and amazing soundtrack could save it.
The plot deserved better and so did I.
I am getting unlucky with dramas this year.

many plot holes

I love this drama, but for me this drama has a little too many plot holes that make me have to lower the score. I can't bring it to the 7⭐️, so I settle with 6.5⭐️. A little warning! I'll gonna write a spoiler. If you don't wanna know just skip reading my review then.

The good point:
+ Lu Wan Wan (WW) & Han Jing Mo (JM) is a cute couple. Really love how JM stand up for WW, especially the confessing scene in the award ceremony, that's a lot of balls to pull to make such announcement at the big event, even bolder that he do it before consulting with his agent.
+ JM openness to WW's parent. Really admire him when he admits that he rather lose than cheating the chess game.

The plot holes:
- The confession scene between WW & JM feel like anti climatic. It just happen like that, like nothing important.
- The reveling of JM as Mo Bai Zhi Jian also feel like something amiss
- The difference in JM character. At first JM is like a little boy that really like to annoy the girl that he likes, but suddenly after he gets jealous he change to just a protector of WW.
- The weird connection to their childhood. Why not make it something bigger or more important, like JM look for this girl & so happy to find out that it's turn out to be WW. If don't want why don't just erase it at all. The childhood story feel like just a flash & unimportant part.
- Zhao Jing Hang (JH) feeling toward WW is never really clear. Is it love or is it just sibling love...? They always said it's only sibling love, but when WW & JM finally together we can see how sad JH is.
- JH & Guan Yi Wei relationship in the end is also never clear. I know they not the main focus, but is the relationship finally bloom or not we get the final result.
- The weird relationship between Lu Guang Han (GH) & Xia Lin Xi, they suddenly together without warning...
- The weird relationship between GH & Gu Qiao Bei (QB). If I must put a word into this it feels like GH is a weird stalker of QB. I never saw a man that more insist into recruit new actor to his firm as much as GH want to recruit QB. At one time GH make me feel like he's not only try to recruit QB as his actor but more of he tries to chase QB as his boyfriend. Haha...
- Is WW still a student or not...? I think she already graduate cause she never go into class or give clue that at least she's not graduate yet, but a little conversation from Zhao Jing Hang (JH) or Lu Guang Han (GH) (i forget who said it) indicate otherwise. I think she's not graduate yet, so why not she's in school...? Or if she only need to practice why don't we at least get to see the graduate scene in the end? Does she drop it in the end...? Very not clear.

Overall this actually quite good drama, with comedy & romance. But nothing feel amiss if you don't watch it...

If you've ever developed second lead syndrome, this one is for you!

I watched this last night on YouTube, and at just seven episodes it's a quick watch. It was very cute. You don't necessarily get attached to the characters much, because each male gets the opportunity to be the male lead - Rowoon, Zuho, Dawon and Chani each get to win the girl. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide who she should be with. Clever, actually. It doesn't happen often, but I hate when I'm watching something, and I think that the FL should be with the 2ML.

The acting wasn't as cringy as I was afraid it would be. I thought the guys did a better job than the girl did. She spent a lot of time pouting and pursing her lips to be cute.

Because it was so short, there wasn't much opportunity to show how clumsy she was. They spent quite a bit of time at the beginning basically warning the whole school to stay away from her for their own safety, but then that wasn't really addressed.

Since it's an older show, it was fun to see actors/actresses that I've since seen in other roles (mainly the teachers talking in the office).

It's cute and it was fun to watch on the heels of a drama that I was very disappointed in.

Interesting and then boring, and then interesting again, and then disappointing...

I started watching this drama and felt it had a good start, then the next episodes from 3 to 10 were quite boring, with nothing big happening (mostly).

Then, when he escaped with her to save her, he had some romantic moments, them alone, very interesting, all of a sudden his father makes him change his mind (ML), and he tries to kill her, but she was saved by the wolf...

Later he tries to save her from his father, but ML is cursed and forgets about FL ... He manages to tell her that if he loses his memory in the future it is not on purpose... Like what? He took the key to save her, knowing he will lose the memory of the person he loves... Why did not he ask someone to take the key for him (someone who is not in love, and will not lose memory).
Also, FL is pregnant with ML...

She wakes up from a coma after 30 years?! Her baby is not born yet, it is out of her body like an egg in a flower... They lost me here...

FL goes to find ML, he is now a demon king and madly in love, married to other women... Does not remember FL at all...
He has a child with that woman, but the way FL is protective of that child, I feel like this woman stole FL's face, child, and used her husband to fall in love with her... We will see...

What kind of twists are these? I do not like it at all...

We will see if the end will be good, and make drama worth watching...

Also main leads when they are in love have good chemistry, other actors do not have chemistry at all...

I think that story needs some stronger acting and better moments...

Unmasking Corporate Realities: Friendship and Ambition's Empowering Journey

I was pleasantly surprised by this show, as it exceeded all of my expectations. Set in the world of business marketing, it combines elements from various genres such as life drama, business & romance.

The story follows the journey of the female lead who lacks a college education but possesses eight years of marketing experience from small company. She manages to secure a position in big company like Seyong & strives to establish her name despite her lack of higher education.
Throughout the drama, several issues are highlighted, such as the challenges faced by pregnant women in receiving promotions after taking a break & the consequences of negative marketing etc.

The drama provides realistic portrayal of how large companies operate, showcasing office politics at both higher & lower levels & how they impact the lives of the employees.

One aspect I particularly enjoyed was the strong friendship between the two leads. They always supported each other unconditionally & their friendship scenes were heartwarming.
Even when the male lead rejected the FL's love confession, I was glad to see that they remained true friends.

I also loved the character of the second female lead, who held the position of CCO. Despite her high position, she displayed no arrogance or rudeness and was solely dedicated to her work.

The cinematography and color grading used in the show were excellent, providing a refreshing visual experience & boosting positive energy.
The upbeat OSTs & background music also helped elevate the mood.

After Misaeng, this business drama became my favorite. Its realistic portrayal of the subject matter was a major factor in my liking towards this drama.

In conclusion if you are interested in a drama that focuses on business, office politics & friendship, I highly recommend giving this show a chance without any hesitation.

TBH, I am usually picky when watching Chinese drama because some of the scenes are quite cringey.

Anyways, one thing I REALLY don't like about this drama is their medical scene. I think the writer and the director did not do their research properly. I know this is not mainly a medical drama but the scenes were directed poorly. The elevator scene, two doctors were trapped with a rib fracture patient, no IV line, no indication that the patient has a rib fracture, even though he was already diagnosed with a rib fracture.

Another scene like, Dr. Shao was doing a major brain surgery but there were no blood seen on his gloves, even Mi Ka's gloves were so clean, the surgical area was so clean. they only show a video of how is it done but, hello, major surgery, right? Post surgery, the patient was recovering but there were no IV fluids or oxygen attached to the patient's body knowing that the patient just have a major brain surgery. Seriously?! Even non-medical dramas, they make it look like it's reality with the IVs, oxygen, blood, etc, like a real operation but not on this drama. One of a reason why I skipped a lot of medical scenes in this series. :(

I like some of the fight scenes though at least the action scenes were quite believable. i just wish the background music adds more feelings towards the scene. It's an action scene so more intense BGM.

One thing I like about this series is the romance part. The male and female lead, the supporting female and male lead had a spark and connection which makes it more okay and fun to watch. :)

Overall, if you're looking for a romance drama, this series is okay but don't expect much with regards to their medical scenes.

So bad that it was good

The premise of the series is interesting. Do I think the execution was great? No, it lacked in many aspects… but there was still something about it that made me enjoy it. Strange, I know.

Kamol & Kim: Let’s be honest, Kamol is a bit of a disappointment for a criminal. But I can forgive him for that. The idea that he can’t find a partner is a bit far-fetched, but it’s a way to start the story. Kim is heartbroken and wants a rebound, which he finds in his one night with Kamol. Only Kamol is not really ready to give him up. To be honest, their first NC scene was a disaster, from start to finish. It’s like the writers and directors went into this with zero knowledge about BDSM. They just went with whatever popped into their head. Kamol was a bit forceful when it comes to Kim moving in with him, but at the same time, he was completely wrapped around Kim’s little finger. I found that kind of adorable. Kim really did whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted and however he wanted it. And poor Kamol just had to deal with the aftermath. I really like how Kim never hesitated in going against Kamol. It really showed how secure and safe he felt with him, he knew Kamol wouldn’t hurt him. There was some fear at first, but it didn’t really last for long. I love the chemistry the two actors have off screen, sadly I don’t think they were given the chance to really show it on screen as well. If anything, they mostly appeared very awkward with each other.

I did like the side couples as well. Day and Itt were adorable together (I did change my mind about them after watching Love Syndrome III). The bodyguards were an unexpected surprise that I did not mind. The possibility of a relationship between Khom and Baiboon was only hinted at, I believe that was done due to their age gap and the fact Baiboon is still quite young. The series doesn’t state his age, but I am guessing he is in his late teens. Which is a bit concerning, to be honest.

The number of ex-lovers that tried to meddle with the relationship between Kamol and Kim is ridiculous. It was a bit annoying how that seemed to be a mayor plot driver. Some jealousy can be nice, but it can also quickly be overdone. I really wanted to hate certain exes, but they ended up redeeming themselves.

There are certain aspects related to the cinematography that were done very poorly. Some of the transitions were weird and didn’t really make much sense. The NC scenes were poorly coordinated, many other scenes came across as very un-realistic. From the way characters moved, talked… I don’t know how much of this is on the cast and how much on the direction part of the story.

I do think that my expectations for a mafia love story were quite high after watching KinnPorsche. Unforgotten Night sadly didn’t really deliver. But sometimes things are so bad that it actually makes them good.

Goofy & Cute Male leads, Bromance and Beating tons of gangsters at the same time Still like it!

I like it! If you watch it for entertainment then it is perfect BUT it also has lots of plotholes and You can find faults in the story...

Like some things are really funny and not practical at all... no one is that clumsy or thoughtless the way they show both of the main characters...

BUT overall if you put practical & logical mind aside, it is one of the good action series.

The casting is good, Both of the main leads, Kim Geon Woo & Hong Woo Jin, Mr. Choi's character, and all the supporting characters did a good job with their acting...

The action scenes were not natural or practical... No matter how good Boxer you are you just can't beat tons of fighters who only kill or beat... It's just not practical... some fight scenes remind me of "My Name" BUT not too much.

One more thing the elders teach the kids how to fight with knives in a day... IN A DAY! LOL... they are boxers, not a robot... come on🙄

When you know who you fighting, you only defeat two of his man and NOT kill them... and then you just Chill & celebrate instead of planning your next move... WTF You know he is a loan shark, who has people in his pocket and you are just a boxer... ohh come on!🙄

AND when you are a professional Bloodhound before Lee Doo Young you leave your family photo in that place while your wife is pregnant and Hwang Yang Jung goes to his cafe like a regular Friday.... what do you expect?

I like the main leads friendship the most... They became friends very naturally... The duo has a perfect balance b/w a goofy and cute personality one talks non-stop and the other one listens.

I really really love Woo Do Hwan's character 😍 His innocent & cute character reminds me of his The King: Eternal Monarch Character Jo Eun-seob.

About Kim Hyeon Joo's character... She was like I will fight for people and all then she just RUN AWAY.. that too when his one and only family get murdered?

In starting they show her as a cold personality who wants what she wants but after Mr. Choi's death. She was like I can't handle it... I'm just a lit girl... I want peace... instead of revenge? That doesn't go with the personality she had before.

Overall it is worth watching once, I like it even tho some things were not practical. it's a fictional story so you can also put that aside.

Feel-good and giddy drama for rom-com Drama Lovers

What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim is a feel-good and giddy drama. Park Seo-Joon and Park Min-Young had wonderful chemistry. The way they interact with each other on screen is so believable that you would really enjoy watching their scenes together. The storyline is a dime a dozen. An extremely rich and handsome CEO executive who owns the company falls in love with his unassuming perfect and beautiful secretary. It’s as cheesy as they come. But if you love romantic comedies and are in the mood to watch something moderately gripping then this series is for you. [kdramabinge.com]

Love the Song-Song Couple on this drama

Loved the Song-Song couple in this drama. The story is engaging and is the type that will keep you wanting to watch until the end. The couple started out bickering but quickly enough, SJ got attracted to MY. The setting as well as the story gave a nice backdrop to the blossoming romance between the two. The Song-Song couple truly was very nice to watch together onscreen. The chemistry between the support leads is really good too. I wish they will have their own drama where they will be the leads. A really enjoyable and cute BL with some really well done love triangle

The drama follows the story of Tae-Kyung, a blunt and awkward loner, who decides to join the student council of his all-boys high school to try to make some friends. He meets there 3 high school boys, very different from each other...The show resolves around how their relationships flourish (into a friendship or even more as feelings get into play...).

I loved the 4 main characters right of the bat: there are a bit stereotypical but that is what makes the show works so well! There are: our hero (the blunt and awkward guy without filters), the tsundere one (heart of gold behind a cold demeanour), the charming prince (nice with everyone but somewhat distant) and the funny guy (cute but also very perceptive and protective of his friends).

I found the story super refreshing, really pure and cute. It was efficiently paced over the course of 16 episodes of 24 minutes allowing enough storylines and characters developments. The various relationships felt fully fleshed: the love triangle was super balanced, it was very difficult to guess in which direction it will go. I must say I was really satisfied the way it went was what I wished for. However, I was (as it is often the case in BL shows) disappointed by the girl part. She is there mainly to create the drama (which is OK) but it is difficult to sympathize with her. I also found her redemption arc not believable and unnecessary.

The making was not outstanding but fun with vibrant colours. I loved the OST so much: the two main songs are sentimental and pop, totally fitting for the drama, and I was super frustrated to never hear them in full as they were mostly set at the end of the episodes in a shortened version...

I would recommend this to people looking for a light and cute BL story with a sweet and well done love triangle in a high-school setting. With its love story balancing in an interesting way scenes between multiple love interests, it gives a bit a similar vibe to the drama "Cinderella and the Four Knights", so if you enjoyed it, you might want to give it a go !

One of the most wholesome K-BLs ever

it's such a heartwarming story and i'm so sad i waited so long to watch this. i binged all 10 eps in one night and it's just so wholesome. the drama is like a warm cup of milk. it's not fast pace but it also isn't too slow. some plot points unbelievable but it's fine this is a bl drama. im obsessed with how sunshine/sunshine protector the main couple is, soooooo 100% my fave trope. some stiff acting at first but it gradually gets better and i love gongchan's portrayal of wonyoung so much (i will protect you in gothic font). i really like how the drama emphasized some of the key traits in this couple (wonyoung's earnest sincerity, brightness and hardworking, taejun's protectiveness, his journey to overcome his past of being betrayed/used by his ex and his slowly falling for gongchan who's completely from his ideal type). all in all i love the drama so much. if you're feeling down on a rainy day (so many rainy scenes with the main cp I LOVE IT), i would 100% recommend this drama.

The most underrated dorama? As far as my eyes have seen, I believe it is.

Okay, so here is probably the MOST UNDERRATED dorama I have ever seen. I am glad I always check out doramas and animes with my own eyes even after reading reviews and comments.

---

1st. This is the best dorama I have seen fully presenting a relationship between two girls. And by 'fully' I also mean: there is a storyline to follow: start, middle and ending - there is development, with a decent duration and number of episodes instead of mini-episodes or a series with lots of main characters; without overextending with unnecessary stuff.

2nd. This dorama has comedy AND DARK COMEDY as one of its genres; and it also touchs a few 'dark themes' and sexual fetishs here and then, SLIGHTLY. If you can´t take that it´s not the dorama´s fault. And I think it adds a special touch to this dorama where we have a special relationship between two girls. If you are one of those who sees sexualization in every intimate scene between two girls and are bothered by that, then better avoid this. Oh well, can´t them also have sexual desires and fantasies? *sigh*

3rd. This is certainly yuri-sh. In other words, this certainly has girls love vibe to it. They care a lot for each other but this is surely not your typical wish-washy "sismance" nor "just best friends". Surely there is more to it than just 'best friends', and you can easily see that throughout the dorama unless you don´t want. It´s surely NOT a toxic relationship - amazes me some people are saying that.

4th Probably some people are annoyed or something just because one of the girls are "dating" a guy. Well, she´s dating since the 1st episode. From the start she was already dating. But that "dating" can´t be even taken seriously and it´s not even the focus of the dorama and shouldn´t spoil the enjoyment unless you don´t pay attention and go blindly hating from the start.

The acting is very nice. I was specially impressed here, specially compared to some other GL doramas out there.

If you are expecting a pure innocent GL or normal relationship where they will meet, french kiss, start dating and that is it, then this is not for you.

Ah! And it´s a happy ending. Depending on what would you consider to be a happy ending. But yep, ultimately it´s a happy ending. Thank goodness it´s not one of those horrible endings we usually see GL doramas.
