A very relatable story that you shouldn't miss!

Story: The story is very compelling to watch and you can really sympathize with Moon Dong Eun. Revenge isn't the answer to anything, but for her, it is and it could also be her salvation. This a very well-written scenario that shows how cruel people can be because they believe that they can get away with anything and how determined, daring, and tough someone can be to deal with the ones that destroyed their life before it ever began. I am sure we can all relate to the story, the characters, the circumstances, and whatnot. Moreover, it is an unpredictable story. For example, after each Dong Eun meeting with them, you are on your toes to see what's going to happen. We see that even though Son Myeong Oh and Choi Hye Jeong agreed to cooperate with her, they get so desperate for their own reasons that they end up digging their own grave instead. I don't think that Dong Eun really needs them but she has studied all of them enough to manipulate them and ultimately destroy them.

Cast: The cast is awesome and the acting is top-notch. Nothing much to say really. The actors/actresses make you feel all kinds of emotions which is what you want from an actor/actress at the end of the day.

Overall: I enjoyed watching The Glory. It is a story that makes you think and feel. It's a story that can happen to anyone. Give The Glory a chance, and I can assure you, you won't regret it.

Score: 10/10

Let’s be honest, Cher has always been the boss

With all the body and role swaps that we got in Our Skyy 2, this one seems to make the most sense to me. Both with the plot and the way it is done. The two are not actually swapping bodies, which I am grateful for, nor are they switching personalities. Cher is simply trying to show Gun how his behavior affects those around him. And he went with the most Cher way to do so, of course.

I love the relationship between Gun and Cher. I never knew Cher had such a wild imagination, but I am living for it. And his friends trying his best to be supportive, but only ending adding fuel to the fire seems fitting. I do like the fact that Jack never complained to Cher about how Gun is at work, he is keeping work and private lives separate. And while it might affect him a lot mentally, he is still doing the right thing.

Seeing Cher boss Gun around is not really that surprising. I think that Cher was always the boss in their relationship, he has Gun wrapped around his finger. Not that Gun is complaining about it. He quite likes it. I really liked how different Cher and Gun were in their roles – Cher trying to be a strict boss but only coming across as adorable, and Gun trying to be a good intern but ending being a grumpy one. They stayed true to who they are, personality wise, so it really was an enjoyable watch.

Three and Zo are still adorable. Yuck! As Cher would say. Zo talking to Three with a big smile on his face while threatening him was so cute! And the fake argument that ended up with Zo really being upset, and Three chasing after them… Can we please get a full series with them? Look, it doesn’t even have to be anything heavy. I just want to see them all lovey-dovey together. That’s it.

If we really need to say goodbye to Gun and Cher, and I think this was the perfect way to do it. I couldn’t keep the smile off my face while watching the two episodes. There was a lot of really fun scenes - the not-intern Boom mumbling, Cher trying to disguise himself and accusing Gun of doing naughty things in the meeting room, the photocopy machine driving Gun crazy...

This is just Cher’s role-play fantasy come to life, and you cannot convince me otherwise

I definitely didn't have high hopes for this one, considering everything else the Our Skyy 2 writers have done so far. But to my surprise, I think this is my favorite part of Our Skyy 2 so far. That comes very unexpected, considering how I didn't like A Boss And A Babe all that much. But I'm pleased to say that these were two really enjoyable episodes.

The story opens with a scene of Cher being the boss, and Gun being the babe, or well, the intern. Immediately, two thoughts came to my mind: Either they’re pulling another parallel universe bullshit, or this is Cher and Gun role-playing. I was pretty much waiting for Cher to rip off Gun’s clothes, and then the scene cutting to actual Cher having a daydream. That didn’t happen though, and I was both relieved and disappointed at the same time. I’m glad it didn’t turn into another parallel universe storyline, like they did with My School President. But honestly, I would’ve laughed my ass off if they had just gone down the role-play pipeline. You could see that Cher was definitely enjoying himself, bossing around Gun for the second episode. They should've just committed to it. Especially with the end, were both of them agreed to give 5 orders to each other. Instead of Cher's cheesy last order of Gun loving him forever, he should've just been like "I order you to do whatever I tell you to tonight." The episode was screaming for that to happen, and you cannot convince me otherwise. Then again, I stick by what I said in my review of the original series, about Book and Force not having any sexual tension between them. So it would've probably felt awkward if that had actually happened. But still, it would've been funny.

Overall, the story was lighthearted, entertaining and cute. Gun and Cher actually make a really good pair in these two episodes. If you forget about all the stupid conflicts of the original series, they seem pretty perfect for each other. Sure, everything was overly simplified and they didn't have time to dive into the storyline very deeply. But it was fun and pretty damn wholesome. They didn't pull any plot lines of characters losing all their brain cells like the Vice Versa episodes, they didn't pull a character annihilation like the Eclipse episodes did with Aye, and thank god, they didn't pull another parallel universe out of their asses like the My School President episodes. This was easy to enjoy and had plenty of comedic moments. They definitely leaned more into the comedy than throwing just pure cringe at us (cough Star In My Mind episodes cough cough), which I was very fond of. Considering on how cringey of a note A Boss and A Babe ended, I was fearful I wouldn't be able to stomach this. But to my surprise, it had just the right amount of cuteness mixed in with the silly storyline. I did see my life flash before my eyes though, when Aoi suggested, Cher should call Gun by an endearing nickname, like 'daddy'. I'm so thankful Cher didn't follow that advice, or I don't think I could've watched this without being in permanent, cringe-induced pain.

I also want to point out that Book did a really great job in this. I've always liked him as Cher. But him acting as Cher acting like the boss was phenomenal. He still portrayed the original character so well, even while pretending to be someone else.
Force was still great in the role of the boss, too. Actually, I really enjoyed Gun in these two episodes. He showed much more of the behaviour that I would've liked to see in the original series - being stern, cold and scary. It would've been great if this was the Gun we had been met with in A Boss And A Babe, but sadly, that didn't happen.

All in all, I really enjoyed watching this. It wasn't anything impeccable or extremely creative. But it fit the vibe of the original show, and it was an easy watch. I'd probably even watch this again someday, if I need a laugh. It does feel like a bit of a fever dream in certain moments, but it's definitely the right amount of silliness for these characters. Nice job.

Really loved this......

every single bit of it was refreshing, the dangers that come with love is truly frightening that's what I've felt watching this drama. The feeling of being afraid to open up about loving someone, the feeling of rejection, the feeling of ruining a beautiful friendship, the feeling doubt of the others feeling (if that makes sense), the feeling of your love moving on, the feeling of your love loving someone else, it was all just so beautifully done. Though not in any way perfect it was enough to convey it's message, through the acting, lines, shots, etc. It reminds us that love isn't easy as often times portrayed, it is also a responsibility.

Four in one done beautifully.

What a catch! Four girl, four personalities, four stories, four trials, four victory, four love plots, four griefs and four happy ever afters in four different ways. I've cried so much and laughed so much and related so much. It's so much to unpack yet so easy to follow, there isn't much for me to say without giving spoilers what I can assure you however it it's one worth watching. A little something something for everyone that watches. You might relate entirely with one character and their story plot or you might relate with bits and pieces of each character and their story plot, whichever it might be it will be refreshing even if they didn't end up with the drama standers for a happy ending. Please enjoy.

23 year old man with a 13 year old girl?

Was a bit concerning at firs however, as the drama flowed it broke down any weird and uncomfortable feelings I thought I'd have towards this dram. I don't know maybe I'm just a sucker for love without much to little to no PDA at all, I love when the leads can just be friends and enjoy each others company whilst get to know as much as possible about each other before developing feeling, and even when feeling are involved everything isn't horny-fied or an impulse thing. If you enjoy those kind of drama I highly recommend, the 2 leads were great their acting does take a couple eps to get use to but other than that solid acting. Story is nice great pace for a 9 episode.

One of the best KBLs for sure!

I decided to give this a watch after seeing some super good reviews, and I was not disappointed. The story and setting is very interesting and unique, and so the BL feels like it's own thing. It's not another cafe BL, or another office or university BL. While those themes are fun, this small town vibe with a famous person hiding and being an artist and teacher really stands out. The acting is top notch and all of the main actors are very handsome. I enjoyed watching every single episode. I highly recommend this BL, so if you are wondering what to watch, prioritize this one! The length was also good to me, not too long and also not too short. I would gladly rewatch this. Like other Korean BLs, the story does feel very fantasy-like and so it is difficult to relate to the characters, but nevertheless is very entertaining.

If I had to pick a weak point, I would say that the kissing scenes were one of the weaker ones in BLs. recent BLs have basically all had good kiss scenes and this one is more like a basic kdrama stiff kiss. Also, the side couple left a little more to be desired in my opinion. Overall, I think this is a BL that should be talked about more just like some of the other best ones like Blueming.

They are everything to me. This was pure comfort.

After Enchanté I had very low expectations for these two again. I even thought it was just going to be a copy of GAP The Series, but with men. It was actually very similar to GAP, but it was hard for me to admit that it was even better (since I love GAP and put lesbians in priority 'cause they have less representation). Force and Book were absolutely amazing. They were always good together, but the plot of Enchanté didn't help them. A Boss and a Babe was very well produced, written and the acting was great. I love cat and dog couples and this is now one of my favorites. I have spent the last weeks just thinking about them and waiting for fridays to come, they made me very happy. I also loved how when they (barely) fought, it would last 2 min (for us) and then they would solve it.

Is there any like it?

No there isn't! Such a sweet and heartfelt drama that has me in tears each time I rewatch. Out of all the romance I've read or watched, this is probably my favorite of all time. It shows how you don't need much to love someone, and how affection doesn't always need to be shown with hugs, kisses or just skin-ship in general, even so, you can still tell how much Taiyu cared for Zhenxin. Seeing feelings develop here and there through a comfortable relationship where two share the same braincell is just so cute and refreshing, it has its own uniqueness in a way, not needing many words or contact exchanged to absolutely melt our hearts and have us absolutely sweating from our eyes. (Crying)

Sometimes stalkers are cute ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Love Mate has a strong old school rom-com vibe, leaning into exaggerated set ups, and one either likes it or not. Both Haram and Lee Jun were the extremes in their behavior. The introduction of the characters made both seem rather unreasonable and unprofessional in the best and most entertaining way possible.

Lee Jun tried to use his workplace and project he was working on to vent his annoyance, anger and trauma related to love - not really caring if the project makes sense. Ha Ram went full on stalker mode, always taking 5 steps too far in how he was approaching Lee Jun. Both frustrating, but so entertaining if you accept the over exaggerated set up as a stylistic choice - this drama does not try to be a realistic and relatable slice of life.

The chemistry was one of the best aspects, especially after the initial clash dies down. I do think Lee Jun’s change of mindset came a bit out of nowhere, but at the same time, it’s not exactly completely unrealistic - some people make fast decisions and switch their behavior accordingly.

While I enjoyed laughing about the characters’ antics and push and pull dynamics, I wish the writer did a better job with presenting the conflicts. What we’ve got was one internal and one external conflict happening one after the other. What would work better (especially since these conflicts were actually connected) is making them happen at the same time. It would make the external conflict feel less rushed and the whole context the characters were in more complex.

The acting was mostly good. Loved Cho Hyun Min’s performance - really natural facial expressions. Random thought, but I also loved how he said 완전 twice in the show. At the same time, while Cho Han Gyeol did a better job in comparison to many other kbl actors, he did not stand out with his skills next to Hyun Min. Some emotional scenes felt flat and forced.

Production value was nice - nothing too outstanding, but also nothing so bad it would be distracting. There were a few scenes in which I liked the composition.

Overall, a fun drama, probably better as a binge watch.

Boys Love? More like Boys Hate lmao

Unfortunately we can't give 0 stars in this website. Everything about this was WRONG. The story was terrible. I don't know who read that novel and decided it was a good idea to make a show of this. The couple is toxic, they hate each other and all I could think during all of the episodes was "why are they even together?". They're dating story started with a rape and then Day just treated Itt poorly and violently the whole time. He lost his memory and he managed to become worse, but they act like before the car crash Day was such a great guy. The screenplay was horrible, like a 13 year old wrote it on wattpad. I really believed in Frank and LongLee's acting, but they did not give us anything. It was clearly badly directed, also they probably had 100 Baht to do everything (the production had a big house and a dream). The theme song is hard to hear (meaning it sucks). The "villain", if you can even call it that, was absolutely pathetic. The real villain in this BL was they're relationship. Not everything was bad though, it was pretty good when it ENDED. (The show kind of made me laugh sometimes because it was so bad, I think that could be a positive review)

Wholesome & cute show, but conflict was poorly resolved

In BAAB, it’s clear that Force and Book have chemistry. In fact, BAAB was a smoother watch than Enchante. But on the whole, I didn’t really feel emotionally invested or connected to the characters.

Plus points for the show: Easy to watch, very cute, and filled with wholesome interactions. The show makes perfectly meaningful points on how people may not be who they seem, and how love is really about accepting someone for who they are beyond the surface.

Iffy points: The boss-intern trope wasn't done so well here. This boss-intern tension culminates in a baffling and also somewhat lame resolution. In order to tie up loose ends, the conflicts resolved themselves in rather superficial ways.

Overall, was this a perfectly enjoyable show? Absolutely. But was it GMMTV’s best in terms of writing? Nope.

Aboslute fun!

The time you invest in watching this drama is 100% worth it!

I came rather by hazard to this drama, hence I didn't know
anything about the actors, director and screenwriter.
Hence, I was not preconditioned by anything.

The acting of the two main leads is beyond any expectation.
They create a great atmosphere and bombastic fun and
convey the story a pleasant taste, When you'd expect that the
story line would start to go around, the writer put unexpected
ideas. In three words: better than expected!

This drama had a lot of high points and a couple weaknesses that drug it down from being among the top BL dramas out there for me.

- Story was interesting and out of the norm for BLs. Refreshing after so many high school/college dramas. I enjoyed the gang dynamics and the dichotomy of the police vs gang with the main characters, even if this was unrealistic most of the time (those cops were...barely cops lol). I definitely was kept engaged by the story and wondering what would happen next. So often the romance is the plot with these dramas, that was not the case here. While it may have not been the most fleshed out or realistic plot, it was enjoyable and fun.

A main weakness for me was the kiss scenes - closed mouths pressing against each other are not my thing. This was remedied in a couple of scenes, but there were too many stiff, dead fish kiss scenes for my taste. That being said, the intimate scenes were quite good without being raunchy.

Character wise - I enjoyed that Tang Yi had some depth and wasn't just a stoic tsundere who refused to acknowledge his feelings. He was a fully fleshed out character with depth and more than one setting. Shaofei annoyed the hell out of me at first, but definitely grew on me. I really enjoyed the side couple and wish they got more screen time, though there was a bit of non-consensualness that kind of turned me off.

Overall a solid drama.
