I truly love the Rebirth Princess Agent Sequel —it’s a drama that completely pulled me in from the start. The cinematography is beautifully done, with each scene crafted in a way that enhances both the emotional depth and the intensity of the story. Visually, it feels rich and immersive, perfectly matching the tone of the drama.
One of the standout elements for me is the OST. The theme songs are not only memorable but also deeply fitting for the scenes—they elevate the emotions and linger in your mind even after the episode ends. It’s the kind of soundtrack you’ll want to listen to again and again.
The acting is another strong point. Both the male and female leads delivered outstanding performances. Lin Yunrui as Zhuge Yue is absolutely captivating. He is not only handsome but also brings a mysterious and powerful aura to his role. His portrayal of the Shadow King of Ximeng, and later as King Ximeng, is incredibly compelling. He perfectly embodies a character who is calm, strategic, and intense, while also showing subtle emotional depth. His martial arts scenes are sharp and commanding, making him even more mesmerizing to watch. I found myself completely hooked on his character.
On the other hand, Chu Qiao continues to impress. Despite being young, she delivers a strong and convincing performance. Her swordsmanship and archery skills are executed beautifully, showing both strength and elegance. She’s not just a warrior—she’s intelligent, resilient, and graceful. As the Queen of Ximeng, she shines even more. Her presence feels regal, and her Ximeng hairstyle and styling suit her perfectly, enhancing her beauty and authority.
What makes the drama even more enjoyable is the chemistry between the leads. Their relationship feels natural and emotionally engaging, especially in the moments where they save and protect each other. There’s a balance of strength and vulnerability in their bond that makes you root for them. Watching them together brings so much satisfaction, and I genuinely hope their story leads to a happy ending.
The supporting cast also deserves recognition. Their performances add depth and color to the story, making the world feel more alive. The second male lead is particularly interesting—his obsession with Chu Qiao adds a layer of chaos and tension, making the narrative more intense and unpredictable.
Overall, this drama is a complete package—great story, strong performances, beautiful visuals, and an unforgettable soundtrack. It’s an emotional and exciting journey that I truly enjoyed from beginning to end.

This Drama Had So Much Potential

I will say I enjoyed this drama until I reached episode 88-90 where the female lead, Oh Jang Mi breaks up with the male lead, Baek Ho. Her move totally destroyed Baek Ho. Her betrayal, made infinitely worse by announcing her marriage to his brother, Oh Jung Ho. She makes this drastic move to protect Baek Ho but does she really believe Chae Wha, her future mother in law, will honor her promise to not kill her family or Baek Ho ? Chae Wha has no honor can never be trusted . So why marry Oh Jin Ho? Also how can Oh Jun Ho marry Oh JangMi when he knows his brother loves her more than life itself. Oh Jang Mi should have found a better way to seek her revenge and get justice but instead chose a way to totally destroy the love of her life, Baek Ho.
So if you step back and look where we are in this drama, there is so much sadness that personally, I really can’t watch. Does anyone besides me see any redeeming value in the FLs behavior because I just don’t see any happy moments….. just incredible sadness. I need a reason to keep watching this drama and right now I have none .

Highly Underrated- no sugercoating....the real story

I really don't understand the low rating because this drama is so good.

I love the acting – everyone did a great job. Joo Young was the star of the drama for me – she totally nailed the character. Also, Ji Hoon shines in every scene.

I completely get why Tae and Sang started chasing power. They want to become people that others can't touch, use, or throw away. To the rich, regular people are just pawns. I love that Tae and Sang know what they want and will do anything to get it – even putting up with each other's shady methods. It's not an easy journey, as you can see from the ending, which was just perfect.

The storytelling worked for me. Corruption, abuse of power, sex trafficking – nothing new, and sadly, it will never go away. Money and power run everything. What I love most is that this drama doesn't sugarcoat anything. It shows the real world exactly as it is – people doing awful things to get rich, famous, or powerful.

I was hooked from the beginning and excited to watch every next episode. I don't get the low rating, but I'm not surprised – this kind of drama isn't really appreciated on this site.

Overall, I really enjoyed it. I loved watching Tae – life kept knocking him down, but he never stayed down. He always fought back.

Verdict: A powerful, underrated drama that deserves more love.

Sweet but slightly off...

This drama was like a store-bought cupcake for me, the ones wrapped in plastic. It hits the itch for something sweet, but not quite what you were hoping for. It’s almost there, but slightly off in a way that’s hard to ignore.

For me, the chemistry felt lacking. I liked their banter as friends, but I never really felt a romantic pull between the characters.

The silver lining in this drama, however, was Ye Shilan. She felt three-dimensional. Alive in a way that is rare in fluffy romances. Her trauma felt deep-rooted. Every decision, every behavior came back to it. You could see how her experiences had shaped her. She is a character who carries her world on her own - one who had to grow up too fast. She doesn’t rely on anyone because she knows firsthand that they can disappear. It was refreshing to see how well-founded her character felt, and her character growth.

The male lead, Lu Zhaoxi, however, was flat as paper. Nothing was interesting about him. He had no struggles, no dreams, no aspirations. He was just a fluffy green flag, without any depth at all. Now, this isn’t necessarily a problem. I’ve watched lots of those characters, and I can even love those stories if the chemistry is there. But when it isn’t, the characters need to do more.

The secondary couple, though almost non-existent, had a lot more chemistry than the first.

I really liked the village setting in the beginning, and I wish more of the story had taken place there. That atmosphere felt like where the drama was at its strongest. Instead, we got an office romance, which wasn’t nearly as fun.

And even the OSTs followed the same pattern, almost there but not quite. They were a little repetitive, and perhaps we just needed one or two more songs to really carry it through.

That was Hi Venus for me. Sweet, but probably not something I would find myself craving again.

A dangerous game of emotions

What really stands out in Broken Of Love is how controlled everything feels on the surface while being chaotic underneath. Arisa isn’t just acting on revenge blindly, she’s calculating every move around Lalin and her family, which makes every interaction feel loaded. At the same time, Lalin feels like she’s slowly getting pulled in despite (apparently) not knowing the full truth. The tension comes less from big events and more from the fact that you’re always waiting for something to collapse. It’s uncomfortable in a good way, because you know someone is going to get hurt, but you still can’t look away.

A powerful “fall and rise” heroine arc

Epoch of Miyu is a compelling, emotionally charged c‑drama that blends divorce‑to‑rebirth storytelling, hotel‑industry workplace growth, and a slow‑burn, mature romance. It’s resonating with viewers because it treats female empowerment seriously while still delivering addictive melodrama.
Instead of wallowing, Mi Yu rebuilds from scratch as a hotel room attendant. This grounded, realistic portrayal of starting over is one of the show’s strongest points.

❤️ A mature, slow-burn romance
Ji Feng and Mi Yu’s chemistry is subtle but steady. romance isn’t rushed; it’s built on support, healing, and partnership. The show avoids childish tropes and instead focuses on adults navigating real emotional wounds.

🎬 Strong performances
Wallace Chung (Ji Feng) and Zhu Zhu (Xu Mi Yu) anchor the show with mature, nuanced acting. Their performances elevate what could have been a standard melodrama into something emotionally resonant.

it’s a story of reclaiming identity, finding strength after betrayal, and building a new life with dignity and courage. The drama balances melodrama with heartfelt growth, making it both entertaining and emotionally satisfying.

Runaway

Runaway is a Thai GL that focuses on love, escape, and self-discovery. It follows two women whose paths cross during a moment of change in their lives, leading to an unexpected connection on the run. The story mixes quiet emotional tension with soft romance, as both characters slowly open up and confront what they’re escaping from. It’s a reflective, slightly melancholic series with gentle chemistry and a focus on healing and finding freedom through love.

Ta Pian Yao (2025), aka Love, Lies, and Second Chances (2025), is a nice second chance at love miniseries with ML: Yang Han/Alf Yang (as Pei He Xiao) and FL: Yang Luo Qian (as Lin Shen Shen) in the leading couple's role. Most of the cast did a good job bringing their characters to life, and the leading couple, even when their kisses could've been better, had great rapport and intense sensual chemistry. The story from two years from the time that the drama starts frames the attitudes, fears, and longing of the present time as it unravels, thread by thread, to give the audience a wider view into the main and some influential supporting characters, and little by little, each piece of the puzzle falls into place. Overall, this drama is quite entertaining; enjoy it!

Mature Romance, Zero Toxicity, and a First Kiss Scene That Actually Delivers

I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. Like, significantly more.

Here We Meet Again is a hidden gem of a workplace romance that stars Wu Qian as Xiang Yuan and Vin Zhang as Xu Yan Shi. The drama follows a young businesswoman who reunites with her high school crush while trying to save her family's struggling company branch away from the headquarters. It's a smart romance blended with a career-focused storyline—corporate challenges, rekindled feelings, and all.

The Lead Couple

The lead couple is mature, and that alone already puts this drama a cut above most workplace romances. Their internal and external conflicts are understandable — nothing is manufactured for the sake of cheap drama. They have great chemistry, and the character development is evident not just through the script but through the acting itself. Especially Xiang Yuan's character, who genuinely evolves throughout the show.

Now, I'm going to be honest — I don't think Wu Qian is particularly female lead material. At least for romantic dramas. That said, she did really well with this role. I do, however, have some conflicting feelings about her styling team because they did her dirty in the first part of the drama. Those hairstyles had her looking like a mouse. I think the team really could have done much better early on. Thankfully, her look changes throughout the show, and her true personality shines through.

I'm also glad she wasn't written like your typical workplace romance, opposites-attract female lead, who is bubbly, childish and clueless. Xiang Yuan is assertive, acts according to her personality, and stays very consistent as a character. That's refreshing.

Xu Yan Shi is probably one of the best male leads I've come across in an office romance C-drama. He's written really well, and he doesn't do anything that's out of character for him — unlike a lot of male leads in this genre where they're supposedly nerdy but then randomly have some bizarre, uncharacteristic hobby like boxing or car racing that only comes up when they need to safe the girl.

Everything about Xu Yan Shi is consistent with who he is and what he’s been through. All his feelings and doubts are relevant. The writers didn't make him a jerk at the beginning just to show his character growth. He is very non-toxic, which shouldn't be as noteworthy as it is, but he’s just very wholesome and goregeous to look at in general.

The Romance

The romance developed organically, and while it did take some time for them to get there, I appreciated that. I especially liked that we didn't get any of that weird nonsense where the leads — the female lead in particular — suddenly become all shy and awkward once the intimacy kicks in. This drama also has one of the best first kiss scenes. Don’t confuse it with that work balcony accidental peck. That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about the real kiss in her apartment they both worked for. All that pent-up tension comes out exactly when it needs to come out, and they are not shy about it. I overall really liked the way intimacy was portrayed here. It felt earned and natural. If you want some skinship that feels natural, this is the right drama. It delivers. It doesn’t maybe get on the level of some other dramas, but it does really well with giving us a very generous amount of intimate scenes which conveys trust between the characters.

Supporting Cast & Atmosphere

The supporting cast is great and adds a nice flavor to the general workplace romance atmosphere. The banter is funny and relevant. All the scenes with the grandpa are genuinely wonderful — he's a highlight. The humor lands well, the workplace setting is interesting as a backdrop, and all the important revelations throughout the story hit effectively at the right moments. Nothing feels wasted in that department.

My One Complaint: Pacing

If there's one drawback to this drama, it's that it does get boring in certain episodes. Some scenes and characters just don't need as much screen time as they're given, and a few of the minor storylines (hello second couple) could have easily been trimmed or removed altogether to give more room to the romance and conflict between our lead couple. I think somewhere around the middle there's a slow stretch, but if you fast forward through some of the scenes, you're not going to miss much. This is genuinely my only complaint. Otherwise, it would have been a 10 out of 10.

Final Verdict

Here We Meet Again is a great comfort drama for those who enjoy workplace romance and want maturity between the leads. All the conflicts and misunderstandings they have — and they don't really have a lot — make complete sense because of who these characters are as people and what they’ve been through. I can't fault them for feeling the way they feel, and that's the sign of well-written leads. The romance overall is very strong here and their relationship is very believable.

Plus, the dramahas a really great ending, so you're going to feel very satisfied, happy, and fuzzy on the inside once you finish it.

And since I watched it in 2026 (I go back and watch older stuff too—no shame in that) I would dare say that Here We Meet Again is a much better workplace romance drama than Shine on Me or even Only for Love, both plot-wise, character-wise, and romance-wise. Acting from main leads here is better as well, they feel very true to their characters and are very natural.

P.S. Here We Meet Again has a very nice soundtrack too.

Best Slice-of-life BL of 2026

I can't even begin to explain how dear this show is to me. I'm still thinking about it daily after finishing it last week.
The plot is simple, but execution is excellent.

What I absolutely love about DWY is how intentional they are with every detail, such as music and styling choices.
For example, as they move in together and share wardrobes, Duang is gradually seen with darker and tight-fitting clothes that are chosen by Qin). Additionally, each OST plays a part in the storytelling & they're actually GOOD songs! (+ of course have to mention the cute sound effects throughout the series).

The best part is surely the chemistry between the actors. Teetee and Por are so natural as Duang and Qin that they totally made their characters come to life, it was hard for me to say goodbye after the Final EP. They made me realize how casual touches & displays of affection have been missing in most BLs. It was so natural and genuine in this show!
Teetee did amazing as a character many might find "childish" or over-the-top. That is however what I find most endearing about Duang, as he maintains his whimsy while still being mature in serious situations & helping Qin through every obstacle.
Por did a great job as well, since it might've been difficult to portray Qin's character without talking or physically expressing his feelings as much. Loved the confrontation with his parents in EP 11, well done and makes me cry every time without fail. Though I do think Por's emotional scenes could be a bit more realistic but it was still fine.
As most of the cast is new, I would say they did a good job and have time to improve in the future!

I have one critique about JamieMarvis storyline, as it wasn't properly developed. It's understandable as they are side characters, but some things could have been easily improved, e.g. how we don't even know why they randomly speak English at times – I only found out from novel readers that Marvis is Thai-Korean, so this wouldn't be clear to series viewers who don't read it. They also tend to avoid intimate/kiss scenes for new couples but in this case I believe it would have fit the plot. Kind of unnatural how they started off being casual without us really seeing anything between them?

All in all, DWY will stay in my mind for a while and I am dreading the waiting time for another PTTP show.
Props to the whole cast and crew. If DMD keeps this up, they will definitely be on the forefront of Thai BL production.

US The Series

US The Series is a soft and emotional GL that focuses on the complicated love between Pam and Dokrak. The story may feel simple at times, but the chemistry between the leads carries everything. It’s sweet, a bit heartbreaking, and overall very comforting to watch from start to finish. I mean, it’s a gentle romance with a bit of tension, making it an easy and comforting watch overall.

A story that feels grounded

What I like most about this series is how real the interactions feel. The conversations between Arisa and Lalin don’t sound overly scripted, which makes their dynamic more believable. Even when nothing major is happening, the scenes still hold your attention because of how the characters react to each other. There’s also a nice balance between what is said and what is left unsaid, and that adds more depth to the story as it goes on.

A mix of good and bad

Okay, so I have thoughts. This series definitely have a mix of good and bad things.

I'm gonna admit and say that I wasn't the biggest fan of it in the beginning. The pacing was pretty slow and the ghost story felt a bit random, but it was actual a great set up for the romance.

In the middle (EP 4-7), it was the sweetest, cutest thing I've ever seen, and I rarely see two character's feelings in that good of a way.

Now, in the very end there's an event that is so random with no follow up that I'm questioning why it's there. It genuinly just feels like something for drama and for the characters to be able to say "I love you".

I also want to mention the emotional scenes that was definitely this series lowest point. I felt absolutely nothing, and I think the reason is because there was no real build up and I which we could've seen even more of the juicy character conflict that they had such a good base for.

Also, justice for Dao's power, cause we had it in the 4 first episodes, and then we just never saw it again? It could have been used to show character development in such a great way, but they just didn't.

I do wanna praise the charactarization for Dao and especially Arthit. Even though we didn't get to see that much of their conflict, I still really liked them and they felt complex and layered.

In the end I gave it a pretty high rating just BECAUSE the middle is just *chief's kiss

It's up to you to decide whether it's worth a watch, but unless you're not too hang up on the emotional scenes, it's a pretty good series.

So much lost potential, I actually feel SICK

Unbalanced chemistry, monotonous plot, and flat humor. It's even more awful since it was set up so perfectly. The chemistry queen, Hye Yoon in a supernatural rom-com with the charismatic Lomon as an arrogant soccer star who's supposed to fall first and harder. Tell me why that we did not get an ounce of any of that, but WORSE.

The fatal flaw lies in the chemistry, which is that there is none..nada...zilch. Lomon looked hot (don't get me wrong), but he lacked the typical yearning eyes that is the cornerstone of every great Kdrama. The moment when you can literally see the ML fall for the FL. There was no passion or love. He was just there to act as a prop to the FL. It was like he was forced to care about her. It felt like a slap-stick comedy rather than the intense supernatural romance I was promised.

I honestly feel so robbed because I was so excited. It was my most anticipated show of 2026. How can this drama go so left? Not only was the chemistry imbalanced, the plot is just boring. Don't even get me started on the ending where she decided to stay immortal and be with him until he died of old age. Like what was the whole point of the drama then? How did she grow? I frankly need to sue for waste of time. Those hours spent watching I could've spent doing something better like watching paint dry.
