Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow We're TOXIC

This was too much. I can deal with bits of toxicity in a BL to move plot points, but this was straight up insanity at points. Reminder that mental health diagnosis do not excuse poor behavior, they just explain a little more and show course of treatment. Both our main characters had awful parts to them, but Kelvin...there's no excuse for most of what he did. I love Fort & Peat but wth

Impressive

What stands out to me is the overall mood of the series. The cinematography is really clean and there are a lot of small visual details that add to the story. It doesn’t try too hard, but it still leaves an impact. I also like how the music fits the tone without being distracting. Not to mention the very intense chemistry between Arisa and Lalin. Very good.

Wish I Could Like It More

Three brothers. Six Issues. All dealt with. So what were the drawbacks? The acting. The serious nature of the topics and how it was handled. The script. The unrealistic resolutions. This felt like an after school special.

Sailom refusing treatment unless he got the doctor he had a crush on.
Sailom instantaneous healing.
Sky's facial expressions that never held the gravity of the situation even when he was going through it.
Their 'perfect' mother.
The kidnapping.
Nava situation stretched but Tawan's resolved in fifteen minutes at the end like an afterthought.
Nabnueng still felt and spoke like a doctor to Sailom instead of lover.

The entire thing felt too superficial. I do like that topics usually bypassed were highlighted. There were some nice couple moments. I truly appreciated Nabnueng being direct with his ex girlfriend and that was handled appropriately. The reconciliation of Tawan and Dindin.

Not the Best But Still Good... And Supposed To Be Cringe.

I just finished this series and I must say, as I was someone expected nothing, I got more that what I was looking for. which is nothing lmao. After I finished watching, I came here to read some of the reviews and oof it was hard. So it was tough to write this review and I am new to this so please bear with me and hear what I say.

Duang With You started very head-strong on to the viewers eyes with its very "vibrant" and "goofy" protagonist chasing his love-at-first-sight crush. And the crush who is "cold" and "distant" is not giving a fuck about his supposed chaser until things change at some point. I wanna say I don't want to give out much of the story but thats pretty much it. The script is very empty and poorly written. The main love story is just a classic college love chasing story and the side couple is even less interesting than that that I won't even bother to mention it.

It is a very cliche story, but I must say this time not in a bad way. I saw some poeple saying this series is so cringe and hard to watch. I totally get that but the whole point of this series is to be cringe and goofy. It is funny and one of the leads acts very cringe but thats how it's supposed to be for this series. Thats just it. Judging this series based solely on that is not okay for me. If you find this dosage of cringe uncomfortable, (and believe me if I did not and even my cringe bar is very low) you really are in the wrong series. Because that would mean you didn't get what's the whole point and therefore no need for you to waste your time any longer.

Duang is a very cringe and "dog-like" character that acts very cringy and irritating sometimes. But I don't know why, I felt his cringe level acceptable. The actor TeeTee did such a good job that the cringe level of his character never exceeds to the uncomfortable zone for me. His goofiness made me laugh once or twice. Qin is the "opposite" of Duang. He is "Cold" and "Distant" that I didn't surprised to see his character written like this since this show, again, has a very cliche story. Nevertheless, there are some things the Story/Acting did right about these characters. I used "dog-like" phrase while describing Duang which is not something we see usually see in a typical love stories like this. Normally we would see a "golden retriever boyfriend" archetype but this series wanted to change and perhaps go beyond that and made Duang act 'unnatural'. I find this bold move very enjoyable not gonna lie. And Qin is ,like I said, "Cold and Distant" which made him look like unapproachable and kinda selfish/narcicistic but in its core, he is just a boy who wants to take things slowly (he says this himself) and I saw some people find him "obnoxious" bc of he's quiet and him not being open towards Duang immediately considered he's treating Duang bad. When I read that I was like "????" But hey you do you babes. One thing to mention about Qin though is that the writers attempt to justify Qin's "emotionless behaviour" was a very bad decision. Choosing an abuse plot trope and not going on about this damages this series highly. I've had my share about being abused and one thing I know is that it shouldn't be treated lightly. They either should've talked about this more open and direct and show its consequences or they should've not mention it at all. The way it's handled in the series is just not acceptable for me and it was rather triggering to watch.

Qin and Duang together was fun to watch for me. Their relationship grew slow but very steadily that I am glad they did not rush it. Now I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this. But I believe this series ,and so many other BLs, are a slice of life stories that are happens in Utopian world. Yes it is unrealistic, yes this relationship is bullshit and cringe but we got so many realistic and serious films/series that talks about the hardships of life, difficulties being a queer and maintaining a relationship in those environments that we don't need to be reminded again. Life itself remind us that every second. So let this story be unrealistic and utopic and silly and mindblowing because in truth, there is no such thing like this. I know you guys will say this is escapisim and I say yeah it is and let it be one. We need more of these especially for people who are not be able to be themselves in their own society.

Music in this series was top-notch. I didn't know Por and TeeTee was a part of a t-group but after I watch them perform here, I felt like Domundi is trying to create another "NuNew" phenomenon. even some reactional sounds were cute which normally they use stock sounds. Production quality was also very good. all of the places, props, clothes were well chosen. Unfortunately tho Domundi being Domundi, all the ads that are forced on to us was very irritating to watch. Even I got uncomfortable about this which I normally just skip those scenes but this time there were too many.

I think that's all I wanna say about this series. Since I just finished watching this, my emotions is still raw and they might change in the feature when I will have more time to think about it. Let me know what you guys thought about it too I'd love to talk about it with all of you.

Building the story

The cinematography is amazing. Harmony Secret perhaps has the very best cinematography I've seen in a while, and I've watched a lot of GLs already. And LMSY are also outstanding! They are simply phenomenal! Their chemistry is off the charts! I'm alwats mesmerized by them! Really enjoyed this series.

Infectious Cute Aggression

I'll be very honest and say that within the first and second eps of this series I was watching it begrudgingly because I didn't really expect much from it. The bar was low concept wise, nothing new and/or amazing.

And yet DWY managed to do something very few series have managed to do. It stayed consistent and true to its concept and exceeded the bars that were set and made us feel all the things while they were at it. This is a clear case of don't judge a book by its cover imo, because the story itself lands perfectly upon the heart and makes you wish for it to never end.

TeeTee made this series what it was, his infectious mannerisms and believable down-badism as Duang literally were the defining points of this series. Por also did well, and the later half of the series we were able to see his acting chops shine through as Qin's walls came down. Together they are magic, because they provide what the other is lacking and the balance is wonderful.

This series made me swoon, cry, and laugh so much.

This is easily a top favorite of 2026 and is soooo recommended.

Nice world building and insanely hot cast

I picked this up because of Joseph Zeng, but I think I also became a fan of Tian Jiarui.

Both pairs did so well, but later on I feel like the focus became more on the story of Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi, esply Ji Ling. Which I'm not complaining. The whole backstory on him, his sacrifices, and all the misunderstandings he had to go through to get rid of Jiu Ling is just so terrible and my heart breaks for him. Nearer to the end, he became my favourite character. And the way his loyal followers all believed in him unconditionally is so heart warming. The number of death tolls in this destroyed me lmao (hot guys and girls dropping dead one after another), although the ending salvaged it a bit. Safe to say, Ji Ling never had to worry about becoming forgotten and unknown because all the viewers felt for him. And he became one of, if not the biggest, reason everyone can live peacefully.

The plot and world building is also very good. Although a bit puzzling at first, they all came to make sense. I was looking for another drama that'd give the vibe of Fangs of Fortune and this came very close to it. Lots of the same cast from FOF too. Another drama that I finished in 2 days, soooo thankful that it's finished because I'd die if I have to wait with the suspense.

All in all, I'd say this is a great addition to well done Xianxia dramas.

Worth watching so far

I’ve been enjoying this series a lot. The story keeps me interested and the emotional moments feel genuine. Both Faye and Atom work really well together and make everything feel believable. Looking forward to the next episodes. So far so good. A very strong beginning. Also, the soundtrack is really good. 5*

Beautiful Story, Frustrating Execution — A Slow Burn That Waits Too Long

You Are My Faithful Love tells a genuinely beautiful story about fate, and at its core, it really does feel like a classic romcom. The premise is strong, the storyline is interesting, and there’s something very warm and enjoyable about the overall vibe of the show. It’s the kind of drama that should work perfectly—and in many ways, it almost does.

The cast is honestly one of its biggest strengths. The characters are lovable, the actors do a great job, and the chemistry is definitely there. I enjoyed all the dynamics, not just the main couple. The second leads were actually one of my favorite parts—they got together early, their relationship felt natural and electric, and they brought a fun energy that the main storyline sometimes lacked. The sister storyline and the best friend dynamics were also really enjoyable and added a lot of heart to the show.

But the biggest issue—and really the only major issue—is the writing.

This drama had so much potential to be amazing, but the writing just drags it down. The pacing is messy and frustrating. It starts off well, but then you hit the middle stretch and it just… stalls. By episode 15, barely anything has happened. By episode 20, you’re still waiting. For a 30-episode romantic drama, that’s a huge problem.

What makes it more frustrating is that the main conflict feels unnecessary. Both leads clearly like each other—they know they like each other—so why drag it out for over 20 episodes? It doesn’t feel like tension, it just feels repetitive. There was no real reason for the male lead to wait that long to confess, and when he finally gains the confidence, it almost feels random rather than earned.

And by the time they do get together… you’re kind of over it.

That’s honestly the biggest disappointment. After waiting for so long, you barely get to enjoy them as a couple. Instead of giving us proper romantic development, the show suddenly shifts tone—introducing more of a crime-solving/lawyer angle right when we should’ve been getting relationship payoff. It feels like a missed opportunity. I kept thinking how much better it would’ve been if they had gotten together earlier and faced everything together instead of separately. Watching them grow as a couple would’ve been far more satisfying than watching endless almost-confessions.

There are even moments that feel unnecessarily frustrating—like when you think they’re finally about to get together early on, only for a new female lead dynamic to interrupt things out of nowhere. It just adds to that “why are we still dragging this?” feeling.

That said, it’s not a bad drama—it just requires a lot of patience. It’s a very slow-burn romance, maybe too slow for its own good. But it still has charm. It’s heartwarming, it’s fun in parts, and it’s easy to like because of the characters.

Also, I really enjoyed seeing Miles Wei in this kind of role. He always does well as a CEO, but here it felt lighter and less heavy than usual, which was refreshing. He still shines, just in a more relaxed way.

For me, the show was sitting at around an 8/10 for most of its run—but the final episode, especially the wedding, bumped it up to an 8.5. It gave just enough emotional payoff to remind you why you stuck with it.

Overall, You Are My Faithful Love is a drama with great characters, strong chemistry, and a beautiful concept—but held back by frustrating pacing and writing choices. It’s comforting and heartwarming, but you’ll probably spend a good part of it wishing things had happened sooner.

my third jadie jia’s drama xD i love watching her so much!! she’s so cute. as for the story it’s pretty basic: arranged marriage but without knowing each other and bad timing every time they might meet *sighs* plot is kinda confusing as the main leads have their own accidents which led them into misunderstandings

Awesome!!

Really enjoying this so far. The story feels engaging and easy to get into, and the emotional moments land well. Faye and Atom have great chemistry and make the scenes feel natural. It’s been a solid watch each week. It's a different plot from the norm, but if one pays attention to what is going on, it's easy to figure out some hidden things about the characters. Can't wait to see how things will unfold.

Love, But Never Together

This drama has potential; however the two leads were never meant to be together. Her characters either died or married other guys, while he could only suffer in silence. He loved her in every time, but he could never be with her. He cultivated from being a little white fox demon to take in human form only to give up his cultivation to bring her back to life. She had many hard times in her different lives. She always has different fathers, but never any mothers. Some of her fathers were kind, but others were cruel to her. The best chance for these characters to be together was the last chance. He would have to go through more violent and more frequent tribulations to be with her. She finally had a chance to see those violent tribulations and the tool they took in him. He helped him ascend to godhood. He found out that being a god was not what it was cracked not what he thought it would be. He decided that he wanted to be human.

Ok drama

This drama is lengthy and does have some logical flaws but it's worth watching. A bit of romance and martial arts but could have added some more martial arts and reduce the sub plots. Acting is good and the main theme is good as well but the side plots are very unrealistic and does not fit well with the overall theme. Show diverts away for too long from the romance and the family theme. Why wait so long for the male actor to reveal his true identity.
One strange fact: it's the middle of winter but all of the windows in the home is open?
Note: it will get very confusing trying to sort out who is the prince and the brother and which princess started the fire. It takes almost all of the show before it becomes clear about what actually happened to the female lead parents - when why and how.
