episode 3
I let this series marinate for 3 episodes as I thought it wasn't for me.but I am glad I changed my mind,,I love it more and more each episode and I can't wait for the next episode to air.i am becoming addicted to Perthsanta acting as PobmekSolar.the director did an amazing job I'm directing ,the camera work is amazing, the colors, the osts, everything is simply amazing.i wish everyone can watch this series and get to understand what it's really about instead of listening to people making speculationsWas this review helpful to you?
Decent story, cringy side characters
The story was ok ok, but the lead characters were kinda cute. The 7 episodes were still ok but the 8th was kinda disappointing. There was like 1000 ways to have the last episode of the series, but the writers chose the worst way. I personally liked the starting and also the main characters and the actors way of delivering. Without the unecessary side characters like the hsopital doctors, interns which actually was too cringe, the series could have been better. Would like to see the lead actors in a better well written drama for sure. Was this review helpful to you?
Love is illusion
Simple storyline and it engage with our society. We just need to be kind and the good things happen. Each character has their own strength and weakness and it made sense as humanYH is such happy go lucky person but held traumatic events and he able to deal with it after his see GR and MJ love story.
GR unexpressive person but he found he attracted to MJ loneliness. GR is most fragile character but he honest and its the strong traits he has.
MJ is strong person and she actually able to survive in the hectic society as she said it easy deal with rain compared to people. That why she give up
I think it not wrong to give up as long as you live you life at your own pace. Overall this movies is good and I made me want to feel this kind of love.

Utterly disappointed
(Before anything else let me make it clear that Xianxia/Xuanhuan is not my cup of tea and rarely I find myself completing the whole drama in this genre.) The drama is everything what you would expect from Xianxia/Xuanhuan. The set design looked okay but the CGI just didn't do justice to the environment, to accentuate the beauty of the scenes and it looked all flat and lifeless because of it. I loved the way they introduced Reba with that lamp thing and all, she looked beautiful and definitely had the presence of a spirit lord but as we go forward they challenged my notion that anything would look good on Dilereba. Oh my goodness what terrible costume choices. I mean in one scene she is strolling in the market of common folks with such vibrant colour and those dangling headgear, what an interesting way to mingle in the crowd by standing out the most! And it is not just the costume, even the makeup has started to bother me a lot with each passing episode. Why is everyone looking so pale and plastered? They already have a beautiful cast!In terms of acting both the actors are in their comfort zone...and for the first time I feel Reba should really try some antagonist roles because she ate that one scene as an evil spirit. Loved her hysterical laughter there. Arthur on the other hand is not a grumpy, cold person...he is smiling a lot here, quite a lot that it is overshadowing all other emotions. It is so empty at times that I can't believe he is the same actor from 'Lighter and Princess' and the onus is on poor direction and weak writing. There is so much disconnect that I can't feel the emotions, the chemistry and even the world building is so bad that I don't believe in any character.
None of the side characters, except for the little boy and sml, held my attention and to be honest none of them gave warrior vibes to me. There is so much more than just dialogues to a character to make you look like a fierce seasoned warrior and they look anything but that. They don't feel believable. I was yawning and constantly skipping many scenes where main leads were not involved.
Now that I have seen many dramas where battle scenes are so breathtaking and I know what they are all capable of, it has raised my expectations a lot so here battle scenes in particular did not leave an impact whatsoever. Or maybe it is just because we directly entered into the battle part without much story building and attachment to the characters...for instance take assassin part, did anybody actually feel any pity or sympathy with ML? It was just a passing scene, and with better story building it could have such a great impact. There were some weird editing parts but that can be ignored. I was cutting this drama so much slack only because of the main leads and simply because I have seen their earlier works and I know what they are capable of. Despite having so much potential and interesting plot, it feels soul less and if people are extremely enamoured by it then it is simply because they are fans of the cast and having few lovey dovey scenes is more than enough for them. For me atleast it feels soul less. I have been patiently waiting for a moment where I could really feel attached to it but I was left utterly disappointed. And to think I have been waiting for it for such a long time...I would not recommend this drama to anyone unless they are fans of the main leads only then you will have the patience to watch it till the end.

I love it
This might honestly be the best romantic comedy series I've ever watched. I loved it, it was fantastic, I watched it with so much enjoyment and honestly finished it in two days. Especially the marriage proposal scene, I've never seen such a beautiful one in my life. The series had great songs too. I also found the main characters very sincere and friendly. I would definitely recommend everyone watch it. I'm sure it will be among the best romantic comedy series ever watched by those who already love romantic comedies. Was this review helpful to you?
A Beautiful, Genuine Series with Outstanding New Talent
This series is excellent and very engaging. It portrays situations that could genuinely happen in real life. There are many new, young actors, and their performances are outstanding. The visuals are beautiful. I would like to commend the creators, producers, and cast.I don’t usually enjoy overly unrealistic series, but watching a non-toxic show that I can revisit multiple times brings me real happiness. I don’t need famous actors or artificially inflated view counts

Sad/gloomy storyline but worth watching
I am not particularly fond of this kind of sad, depressing, gloomy dramas as life is already hard enough most of the time. I usually watch happy ending easy to watch fantasy or custom pieces with lots of romance. However, Mark Chao is my most favorite actor ( ever since Eternal Love) and I love to see. anything he plays in. He is a very versatile, highly talented, extremely handsome, likeable actor and his acting skills didn't disappoint in this drama. I also really liked Zhang Zi Feng' s portrayal of the FL character. She is a wonderfully talented young actress with a very bright future in the industry. All the supporting actors were also really great and talented. As for the overall storyline, it was a bit too sad and gloomy for me. The ML and FL sour, gloomy, sad faces throughout the whole drama was pretty depressing and a huge downer for me. The whole mood throughout the story was sad with hopeless characters and had an overall doomed feeling. Like I said, it's definitely not my type of drama but it's a masterpiece for serious drama lovers. Great production, great work! Was this review helpful to you?
Raw. Complex. Full of emotions.
A film centered on scamming is not new and the plot can be pretty similar. However, "The Red Line" brings more to the table than just the premise. This film takes a deep dive into the struggle of those who have fallen victim to scams, but it doesn't stop there. It’s layered with raw emotions - desperation, anger, frustration, stress, shame, hope and friendship - that will make you resonate with the three main characters and also ponder about life. While the film focuses on the scheming to take down the scammers, it candidly explores the flaws within the system and the law - instead of putting extra effort to solve the issue, the victims are blamed for their mistakes and left to accept their fate, which compel these victims to fend for themselves and take matters into their own hands. “It’s not about the money – I want my life back.” - this critique adds a layer of complexity to the storyline, prompting viewers to reflect on the harsh realities of the world we live in. This makes this film not just about revenge or survival but also a social commentary on the systemic injustices that plague society. And everything is put together in a well-written script and delivered by a great performance by the entire cast. It's a smart move to have three characters from three social classes. Despite the contrasting personalities, the interactions between the characters are pretty solid and you can easily grasp their shared struggles and goal. In my opinion, this is Esther Supreeleela's most impressive performance to date, breaking her common 'lakorn nang'ek' persona. And Ning Chutima, being the youngest cast member, really stands out with her acting, fitting right in with the senior co-stars.
However, some subplots and characters (like Yui, the police officer and the driver uncle) are not well fleshed out, leaving the second half of the movie feeling a bit flat emotionally but ramping up with more action. But the steady pace as the plot unfolds helps conceal those flaws, keeping the focus on building tension and suspense throughout the film.
In addition to its good plot and strong acting, the film's production quality is impressive. The set and production design are meticulously crafted to capture the essence of the story. And I love how the wardrobe and makeup teams designed each character's look to mirror their personality and background, which adds to the film's realism and relatability.
In conclusion, "The Red Line" is a film not to be missed and definitely worth watching for the performance. It exceeds expectations by exploring the raw emotions and complexities of its characters while also delivering a thought-provoking critique on society's failings.

Even with its strong points, there’s a subtle feeling that something is missing
Pursuit of Jade is an engaging and well-crafted story that balances mystery, emotion, and adventure in a compelling way. The characters are interesting, the storyline flows smoothly, and the overall atmosphere keeps you invested from start to finish. It’s a story that pulls you in and makes you curious about what happens next. However, even with its strong points, there’s a subtle feeling that something is missing—perhaps a deeper emotional payoff, a more intense climax, or an extra layer in the plot that could have made the experience even fuller. It’s not something easily identifiable, but you can sense there was room to push the story just a little further.
Still, the strengths far outweigh the minor gaps. Pursuit of Jade delivers a memorable journey and is absolutely worth reading, earning a solid 8.5 out of 10 from me.

SPEECHLESS
I'm absolutely in shock. Dare I say this is the best Cdrama of the year???. I have watched 100s of cdrama throughout the years starting from 2019 and this is easily in my top 5. I will definitely be rewatching it a million times. Also beware guys Zhang Linghe's face card is so lethal that I forgot to focus on the story a couple of times. All the actors are absolutely gorgeous and Tian Xiewei really did deliver that strong female general role perfectly. Also in absolute love with the second lead couple. The visuals in this drama is actually insane. I really hope they do more projects in the futureWas this review helpful to you?
didn't deliver on the romance story i was hoping for
was hoping for a sweet love story, but 4 episodes in, it's a lot of weird drama with side characters + main characters i know i'm supposed to like but don't actually feel any connection to. i don't see why there would be any fond feelings between the MCs and don't understand the treatment of the CEO's best friend. dropped because i simply don't care about anyone in this show or what happens to them. i wanted to like this, but i can't force interest. Was this review helpful to you?

Entertaining, but concerns on if some characters/arcs were necessary.
I held off on watching this because I did hear about the synopsis of FML lying about something and its very gray areas for me to have FML lying to ML.What a pleasant surprise this is that both FML and ML were liars (initially) to each other. They’re both highly motivated, detailed and ambitious. I do think this couple suited each other extremely well.
FML Xu Yan lies about her parents (career choices) due to estranged relationship with them growing up and gets married to ML Haoming who is upper class. Which we later learn that ML Haoming clocked her early on and found her an interesting pawn to further his agenda and motivations. Eventually, they learn more about each other and can be honest and navigate their own ambitions, often helping each other out.
What I liked
- How smart FML Xu Yan was
- Different stories and people’s own motivations - I really liked the grandma who made veggie balls. That was touching.
- Ambitiousness is always attractive
- Different relationships with grandmas, mothers, kids, etc. Good combination of generational relationships throughout the series.
- How loving and stern grandma was. Grandma makes me wish I had a grandma. I cried at the part where Xu Yan said Jingzhou was too far for her to travel. That was heartbreaking, and I imagine Grandma felt sad too but she didnt want to make Xu Yan feel bad.
- Female camaraderie! Loved that at the end, the focus is on cultural clothing and sisterhood. That’s worth investing in and being a part of.
Distractions / story arcs that could’ve been better or wasn’t fully fleshed
- Xu Yan and her relationship w/ her parents - To me, it felt that their relationship wasn’t ever truly resolved and there were subtleties now that Xu Yan is a parent to understand maybe her parents wanted what’s best for her but Im still mad because it took a lot of bravery for Xu Yan to ask why her dad kept proving to her that he didnt love her. And the answer was a slap so that’s… No.
- Haochen. As much as you learn about the boy, in the last couple of episodes after a much needed retreat, you hardly see him and isn’t he a part of their family? I also think that he should be told the last minute thing that they decided to do w/ Fang Lei which - completely unnecessary imo. I know that’s a lot of feelings for him but its also like… Wen he finds out - isn’t this series ALL about lying? Stop lying otherwise the fallout is bigger.
- Lin Tao. I dont know what his character is suppose to be. Even the big arc of him threatening Qiao Lin isn’t a big deal either. I understood his character initially, even when he came to Jinzhou to convince Qiao Lin to return and get married but the complete refusal to not let Qiao Lin go is shoddy writing and completely unnecessary.
- Bad guy / Steve / Wen Lawyer dude. As much as they put emphasis on this, they’re easily rounded up crooks - felt like weak ultimate villains/latest villain to end on at least!
- How utterly unhinged Fang Lei was for her to retreat and go to UK in the end. That just felt too neat and honestly I wish they spent more time on her character development because she was just seen drinking a shitton.
Some more thoughts - ML Haoming fell short of what I would want a ML to be. While he was jealous and childish, which shows to his EQ, I also felt that he couldve grown more. He also never had a honest to goodness chat with his son about who his mom is or what happened and that he wanted him (Haochen as a son). He's just OK ML IMO.
All in all, its entertaining and I can see why many ppl like it. It certainly wasnt what I expected, I'm unsure if I'd rewatch it.

communication struggles
Overall: I think they should have cut the love rival and focused on the low self esteem aspect. 4 episodes about 8 minutes each. Aired on True Film YouTube channel https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkQFxcEhORR2azTx4-IgLsMz-Sb7rYnx1&si=RaMzJuLSTKzR2rp8Content Warning: non con touching/hugging
If you want to cut out the love rival, watch episode 1 until 4:25, episode 2 6:30-end and episode 4 6-end
What I Liked
- visuals
- good kissing
- established couple
- supportive brother
Room For Improvement
- unrealistic not answering who was on the phone in episode 1
- 2 love rivals (actually it was 1 I think, the voice over referred to his boyfriend and not the brother)
- cliche got drunk and forgot and then saw the beginning of something but didn't talk about it
- a protagonist came across as creepy with lines like "I'll keep you by my side and never let you go" (when the other character was sleeping) and "I'll never let you go, you'll get used to it as time goes on"
- I have zero faith this couple will stay together, the one guy's low self esteem will torpedo their relationship, in my optimistic mind he gets therapy and couples therapy and the relationship works out

Overall a RARE gem , MUST watch drama!
PursuitOfJade is a masterpiece from start to finish. The story is gripping and beautifully paced, keeping you hooked with every episode. The main actors deliver performances that are both natural and powerful there’s no forced emotion, just genuine connection. The best part of this duo is their natural chemistry. It’s rare to find a drama where the leads match so perfectly in acting ability, visual presence, and emotional depth. On top of that, the cinematography is stunning, and even the side characters are well-developed and play their parts seamlessly.
This drama isn’t just entertaining
it’s a full experience. Truly one of the best pairings and productions in recent memory
