Doona: A cycle of emotional manipulation

Doona... 9 episodes that provide a realistic look at how someone can become emotionally manipulative after having suffered emotional abuse and manipulation themselves, much like how individuals who grow up in hostile home environments, suffering from physical and emotional abuse, end up becoming abusers themselves (get bullied at home > become a bully at school).

This show also demonstrated different life situations and relationship issues that we can all encounter. It took me until the 3rd episode to really get hooked, but overall, it was a decent show. This show definitely makes it clear how important it is to always be cognizant of red flag behavior.

A Korean Romeo & Juliet Done Right

Inspired by real events from the Joseon Dynasty, the drama beautifully blends history with fiction, creating a story that feels both epic and deeply personal. The political intrigue, power struggles, and betrayals provide the perfect backdrop for a love story that constantly has you hoping the impossible might somehow become possible.

What makes this drama so memorable is that no character feels one-dimensional. Even those on opposing sides have understandable motivations, making the conflict feel believable rather than simply good versus evil. Every decision carries consequences, and the emotional weight of those choices is felt throughout the series.

Park Si-hoo and Moon Chae-won are exceptional. Their chemistry is natural and heartfelt, and they make every joyful moment and heartbreaking separation feel genuine. The supporting cast is equally impressive, while the cinematography, costumes, and soundtrack perfectly capture the beauty and tragedy of the era.

Although this drama first aired over a decade ago, it has aged remarkably well. The storytelling remains gripping, the performances are outstanding, and the emotional impact is just as powerful today.

If you enjoy historical dramas that combine romance, political intrigue, and unforgettable characters, The Princess’ Man is an absolute must-watch. A timeless classic that reminds us history is not only about kings and battles, but also about the lives and hearts caught in the middle.

I can't fully explain why I'm just too attached, I see myself in the characters. "My SAFE Place"

My rating is determined solely by the screen time presence of the primary ( KoSong KoNueng ), secondary couple ( Augar Achi ) and August..
I hated that Tle totally disappeared in the last episode. They didn't even gave us a hint bout what happened between them, in that 1 year, and he didn't come back to the hometown with them for new year celebration.
Looked like August losed his contact with himm..

It's the most memorable drama I won't ever forget!!
We all connect with dramas differently, and everyone has that one specific show that feels like a safe haven. For me, this drama is that safe place. I know many people dropped it, but it resonated with me so deeply that it will stay in my heart forever. It is a story I never want to forget. I became profoundly attached to it.
I loved the subtle details and the way it beautifully conveyed thousands of unspoken messages.
I will always cherish the story between Ko nueng and Ko song, very part of their relationship. Also the time I spent watching it, I'll never regret it

I never expected to love this show as much as I do. When it was about to release, the trailer made it look like just another boring, cliché coming-of-age story. Because of that, I missed the first two episodes. But curiosity got the better of me, and I gave it a chance.I still can't believe how quickly I fell in love with it—the very first episode was all it took.

Such a cute coincidence with their names! Those nicknames are precious—now I low-key want someone to start calling me 'Orange' (ส้ม).

Watching the characters transitioning from initial dislike to a beautiful, deep friendship completely won me over. Their friend group is incredible.
In real life, I don’t have a chaotic, fiercely supportive circle of friends like Ko does, so watching them filled my heart with such warm, sweet emotions. It left me wanting more and wishing I could experience that kind of connection.

At times, I felt a wave of envy watching Ko Nueng enjoy such a healthy, vibrant school life. It is exactly the kind of life I have always dreamed of and wished for myself.

Seeing them go from simple, newly moved-in neighbours to absolutely inseparable constants in each other's lives was beautiful. This show has truly become my safe place—the safest place I know.

What hurts most is knowing I have to let it go soon. It has become my Wednesday ritual, something I never miss even on my busiest days, and soon my Wednesdays will feel empty. I have watched plenty of slow-burn, school-life, and coming-of-age, youth dramas before, but I swear this is the only show that makes me wish it would never end .

Every single part of this drama holds profound meaning.
Even the endings the last lines, helped me immensely understand life, just those lines. Soon, I will find myself exactly where Ko and friends are standing.
Sometimes, I still feel like I don't belong in the path I chose, experiencing the exact same doubts as Ko Nueng.

While waiting for the next new episode, I decided to watch Lovesick (2024), and the difference in Almond and Progress is incredible.
They have grown so much and their acting has improved tremendously, even though they were always talented.
It makes me really happy to see actors around my own age starring in such a critical drama. I love watching them grow together since they started their careers at the same time, and I truly hope they continue to stay together.
They looked so young, especially Almond. Seeing their drama brought back memories, and watching their new show makes me proud of how much they have grown.

I deeply connect with the characters' inner worlds, finding myself mirrored in their raw thoughts, emotional struggles, and every decision they make, whether reckless or deeply meaningful.
This bond goes far beyond just a shared age; it is rooted in the shared experience of watching their lives shift from a chaotic, sweet youth into the bittersweet reality of growing apart.
Experiencing their transition as they head to college, discover their academic passions, and choose their own paths perfectly captures the beautiful, messy process of growing up. The transition that I'm going to go through in coming years..

This drama is a masterclass in coming-of-age storytelling, a rare piece of television that achieves high-level artistry while perfectly weaving in extreme nostalgic vibes through an immaculate re-creation of an old 1900–2000 environment.
It is a work of total creativity where the entire story revolves around an orange tree filled with a lot of sweet oranges, turning a simple setting into a deep, poetic anchor for the narrative.

Though it functions as a slow burn, every single part has deep meanings, and the show pays incredible attention to extremely great details, allowing each and every episode to conclude really well with just a few chosen words.
At its core, the series beautifully maps out the important phrases a student goes through during the time they're growing, underscoring the absolute importance of living life to the fullest.

The characters live their lives joyfully, showing us what it truly means to enjoy the little moments—whether they are navigating a chaotic and sweet relationship with parents, enjoying a small school trip, or going on a short sea trip with friends and family.
The drama totally teaches us to enjoy these little moments because, even though they're short, they carry very deep emotions that shape who we are. As the story progresses into adulthood, it offers a gentle guide on how to face the world, teaching us that when we grow up, we must learn to adapt to the environment and changes that might change our personality due to heavy academic pressures or career pressure. Instead of letting the stress overwhelm us, it tells us to keep up with these pressures and find what we're interested in calmly.

Ultimately, it serves as a moving lesson on transition, telling us to adapt to the bittersweet changes of life—like getting apart from friends and family for attending higher studies—while reminding us to maintain a proper relation with everyone, keeping our bonds strong and meaningful even though they're away from us..

I feel their pain through these changes, but their courage is inspiring. I hope to be that brave when the stage comes..

Ko used to rely on his parents to wake him up every morning.
Now, he lives alone in a Bangkok condo, far away from his family and his familiar coastal hometown. Moving from a quiet old town filled with the scent of the ocean to a bustling, unfamiliar city with no one around to nag him has been a massive shift. This sudden independence made Ko realize that his high school days are officially over—a beautiful past he will always cherish.

Despite numerous challenges and frequent arguments, their connection remains unbreakable because their love is genuinely pure. They now share a condo far from Ko Nueng’s hometown and the iconic Orange tree.

Ko has matured significantly—a sharp contrast to the chaotic version of him that I deeply miss . He maintained his old friendships with Augar and August and made new friends.
Ko Song pursued a demanding medical career. His schedule as a doctor is entirely consumed by work, leaving him completely exhausted when he returns home.

As a result, he has no time left to spend with Sôm. Ko Nueng carries a heavy emotional burden; he deeply craves quality time with Ko Song to talk through everything, yet he chooses to keep all of these overwhelming thoughts entirely to himself.

The combination I didn't expect to see ...

I started watching this because of the hype around it yet I was surprised because it deserved the hype , it has a great combination of comedy , drama and action , I thought it was going to be more focused on the action part and ignore the other aspects yet it was well balanced with a satisfying end and no loose ends .

but what I am really trying to understand is ju gang chan's obsession with killing ML and his daughter , like at first he was trying to cover his daughter's crime and then it turned to revenge for his ego, which was truly annoying to watch sometimes , if the other half focused on the north koreans searching for and trying to eliminate the traitor "Ri Eung Ryeong" It would still be great rather than turning into ju gang chan's revenge.

that being said you'll have a great time watching this .

'Key to the Phoenix Heart' is one of those series that you have to rewatch as soon as it ends because you're sure to have missed some details; it has a very rich plot. The entire script is incredibly interwoven right from the first episode. You can't look away for a second, or you'll miss something. When you add a top-notch cast to a script like this, magic happens.Xiao Wuji couldn't have been played by anyone other than Hou Minghao. His performance is incredibly passionate and intelligent. The character's first impression is that of a cold and ruthless nature; you need to see this side of him to understand and empathize with him later on. He carries his country in his heart, has a mission, and must fulfill it. Minghao paces his performance so masterfully throughout the entire series that it never ceases to amaze me.His chemistry with Xie Jiayu's character is incredible, and not just from a romantic point of view—they make a perfect team. The young actress, Aimee, is also very good and a pleasant surprise.
From an aesthetic perspective, I'm glad the visuals are 'raw,' without excessive and unnecessary cosmetic enhancements that would spoil the "classic" feel of the story. I really like the characters' costumes and hairstyles.
The action scenes are fantastic. The stunts were performed by the actor himself, like the famous horseback riding scene with a red ribbon covering his eyes. Hou Minghao's dedication is admirable.
Another highlight is the soundtrack, performed by Hou Minghao himself. The opening and closing theme songs are wonderful. You can't fast-forward through them; you just have to listen. This is yet another talent from this young actor.

This the best new Chinese Drama this year!

The acting in this drama was well worth watching. I think that if you have any kind of expectations going into this wipe them all away because this is a really, really well done production. there are a lot comments out there that are talking about the age of the female lead, but I think you need to really see the show before you can start any kind of conversation about that because the way the director and the staff and everybody behind the production really took into consideration that she was underage and it is still amazing and she's great. The drama moves fast you don't want to stop. in fact, you get to the point where you're forcing yourself to go to bed, but it is so good so so good. I definitely recommend it if you haven't had a chance. it's so quick. it's 28 episodes and I can't say enough about the cast and the music. oh my gosh the music is to die for is so so good. download it
definitely a rewatch because so much is going and there are so many twists and turns.

More Than a Football Drama

I started Road to Success because of its cinematography.

The trailer had this warm, cosy atmosphere that made me think I was signing up for a simple "finding your purpose in life" story. What I didn't expect was a drama that quietly explored grief, healing, mentorship, academic pressure, depression, family, football, and love—all without losing its warmth.
What I loved the most wasn't the football. It wasn't even the mystery.
It was the people.
Hongjing No. 8 High School felt alive because every student carried their own fears and dreams. Watching Lin Wan Xing slowly help them rediscover not only football but also confidence in themselves was incredibly rewarding. She wasn't a perfect mentor who magically solved everyone's problems. She simply stood beside them, and sometimes that's exactly what people need.

Then there's Wang Fa.

One of my favourite things about this drama is that it doesn't mistake love for grand gestures. Wang Fa never tried to "save" Lin Wan Xing. When her past resurfaced and she chose to leave, he didn't chase after her or force her to stay. He gave her the space she needed while quietly reminding her that she was never alone.

For me, the most romantic moment wasn't a confession or a kiss.
It was when he handed her the PhD application form and reminded her that she was so much more than everything that had happened to her.
That scene didn't give me butterflies.
Instead, it gave me something deeper.
It made me think that if I were in Lin Wan Xing's place, I would genuinely believe I'd found the right person. Someone who understands you without needing explanations. Someone who supports your dreams instead of replacing them with their own. Someone who reminds you that no matter how lost you feel, there will always be someone who comes looking for you.
That's the kind of love this drama portrays, and I found it beautiful.

The mystery surrounding Jason and Xiang Zi also surprised me. I wasn't expecting the story to tackle manipulation, academic jealousy, and mental health as seriously as it did. Xiang Zi became one of those rare villains whose every appearance made my blood boil, which honestly says a lot about how well his character was written.

If I had one criticism, it would be the pacing. Around Episodes 23–24 after Wen Cheng Ye's arc, I found myself losing interest. Thankfully, the drama finished on a strong note, so the slower stretch didn't take away from the overall experience.

In the end, Road to Success wasn't really about football. Football was simply the reason these people crossed paths. At its heart, this is a story about finding your way back to yourself after life knocks you down, about meeting people who quietly change your life, and about learning that sometimes success isn't winning a trophy—it's having the courage to dream again.
It's not a perfect drama. But it's one that I'll remember for a long time.

ATÉ QUE PONTO A INCERTEZA DEVE FAZER PARTE DA HISTÓRIA?

Bom, nem sei exatamente o que dizer sobre esse projeto, apenas que ele é incerto.

A história gira entorno desses dois homens que acabam cruzando o caminho um do outro por uma fatalidade e em meio a isso eles começam a conviver juntos por algum tempo (não sabemos quanto tempo exatamente).

Tudo aqui é incerto. O tempo, motivações, intenções e propósitos. Talvez essa seja a intenção, ser confuso e deixar o publico preencher as lacunas, mas eu não acho que funcionou bem.

As conversas pareciam naturais mas sem propósito, a química física não existia, os beijos fortes de boca fechada eram estranhos e sem encaixe e o final mais confuso ainda.

Para mim foi uma experiência esquecível e sem brilho, mas a paisagem é bonita e consigo ver a tentativa de algo no fundo disso tudo.

I don’t get why people were so harsh with this one

Honestly, I went in with low expectations after reading the reviews, but the series turned out way better than I anticipated. The chemistry between the leads was there, and I genuinely enjoyed the tender and funny moments between them. The story itself was actually pretty engaging.

That said, some criticisms are valid. For example, Save spoke Thai throughout the entire series while everyone else spoke Korean. The whole “Thai Studies Program” setup felt like a forced excuse to include Save despite the language gap, which made things feel out of place. To be clear, I’m not belittling Save, his acting was good, and his character was tender and likable. But if the intention was to set the story in a Thai Studies program, they should’ve either cast a Thai actor fluent in Korean or had the rest of the cast speak Thai. That would’ve made the setup more believable. Personally, I just pretended the leads had some kind of bilingual agreement, which I’d totally be willing to do myself if I ever married a handsome Korean guy… (T_T). Still, the language issue made the beginning feel nonsensical.

Character development, on the other hand, was solid. It didn’t feel rushed, and the cast was good-looking, as expected in a Korean BL. At first, the chemistry felt a little weak, but as the series progressed, it clicked, and I ended up enjoying it. I liked how Jay and Seong Hun had contrasting personalities: Jay being extroverted, open, and talkative, while Seong Hun was more reserved and introverted. Despite their differences, their friendship and trust felt natural in those pre-romance moments.

The budget clearly wasn’t huge, and it showed in some shaky camera work. As for the OST, it didn’t stand out to me. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t memorable either. The ending, though, felt cramped. I wanted to see Seong Hun recover and Jay take care of him after such a traumatic experience, but instead, the focus shifted to showing off their bodies right after the “we almost got cooked alive” arc. Smh. Also, no scar after being punctured? Lol

In the end, I have to admit the series was enjoyable enough, if you can overlook the language issue. It had an interesting concept, handsome leads, and the kisses weren’t bad at all. If you don’t mind the language black hole, I’d recommend it. Would I rewatch it? Probably yes, the plot was interesting enough to pull me back in.

Please Do More Green Flag Roles Khun Perth Because Being In Love Looks GORGEOUS On You

At first glance, Love You Teacher looks like a classic romantic comedy right? It looks like a bright, colorful rom-com filled with laughter and warmth. But as you keep watching, you slowly realize there's something much deeper hidden beneath that cheerful exterior. Its roots reach into the darkest corners of the human heart.

Yes, Love You Teacher is, at its core, a psychological drama.

There were two things that completely kept me invested in this story.

First, Perth's performance as Pobmek. In short, I am floored.

This is a completely new kind of role for Perth. Gone is his "bad boy" image. Here, Pobmek is utterly devoted to the person he loves, a man who wears his heart on his sleeve without the slightest hesitation or embarrassment. Watching Perth step so far outside his comfort zone and make this character feel so believable deserves immense praise.

There's a scene near the end where Pobmek can no longer carry the weight he's been holding inside and finally breaks down in tears. That moment will remain one of my favorite scenes from the entire series.

Second, the real story hidden beneath all the sparkle and comedy. I expected something like this from the pilot trailer but did not expect it to be like this.

Solar's deeply buried childhood trauma, Pobmek's own insecurities born from his relationship with his mother, and Pobmek's unwavering care for Solar throughout his struggles form the emotional backbone of this series.
Looking after someone who is mentally ill is never easy. Long-term caregiving takes an enormous emotional and physical toll on the caregiver as well, especially when the person you're caring for is someone you love. The series portrays this reality with remarkable honesty.

Perth captures every bit of Pobmek's exhaustion, vulnerability, love, and quiet resilience in a way that's incredibly convincing.

Santa has always been one of my favorite Thai actors, and once again he proves exactly why. Playing both a grown-up teacher and the emotional innocence of a seven-year-old child trapped within isn't an easy task, but Santa delivers it beautifully.

PerthSanta pair is godsend y'all. Their intimate scenes did not look forced, they look absolutely at peace by loving each other. They called me out single in 3000 different languages.

The supporting cast, especially Kay Lertsittichai and Sammy Samantha Melanie Coates, are equally wonderful. Sammy remains one of my favorite actresses. If there's anyone in the Thai industry who has a truly natural gift for comedy, it's undoubtedly her. Very few actresses can make comedy feel this effortless.

This is also the first real green flag role for both Perth and Kay, and Kay handled it remarkably well.

The director deserves immense respect for choosing to tell such a sensitive story.

The series beautifully shows how childhood trauma can sink so deeply into our minds that it quietly shapes and sometimes damages our adult lives. Solar had long forgotten the painful memories of his childhood after his first accident, only for them to resurface after the second one. The human brain is a strange place no? It can bury painful memories so deeply that we think we've forgotten them, but it can never erase them completely. And that's exactly what Solar ends up confronting.

Pobmek, on the other hand, grows up under a mother who constantly imposes her own dreams on him while comparing him to others. Those endless comparisons slowly nurture anxiety and insecurity within him. A boy who once loved playing the guitar eventually stops touching it, not because he lost his passion, but because he was afraid of disappointing his mother.

Amid all the comedy, the director quietly leaves behind some beautiful messages. When someone we love is going through a difficult time, we shouldn't abandon them. We should do whatever we can for them, no matter how hard the journey becomes. At the same time, there's no shame in asking others for help when we need it. Most importantly, we have to take care of ourselves first. Only when we're emotionally and mentally well can we truly care for the people we love.

And we should never neglect the child that still lives inside each of us. If needed, seeking professional help isn't a weakness, it's something we absolutely should do.

I think wrapping such a heavy subject inside a comedy was exactly what made it more accessible for the Thai audience.

The only thing that felt a little strange to me was how little the series addressed professional psychological help. Apart from one brief mention, psychologists and therapists were almost entirely absent. And those school kids... they all seemed unbelievably mature for their age. Then again, maybe that's just how kids are these days. Who am I to judge?

The music, color grading, vibrant palette, and slightly eccentric fashion choices were all incredibly interesting and surprisingly well suited to the story's tone. Sammy, especially, looked fantastic. I've never seen a school principal with such colorful fashion, but she carried it with so much confidence that it simply worked.

I'd give Love You Teacher an 8 out of 10.

Among all the series produced by GMMTV, this will undoubtedly remain one of my personal favorites. It may wear the bright clothes of a romantic comedy, but beneath all the laughter lies a deeply compassionate story about trauma, healing, love, and the quiet strength it takes to keep choosing the people who matter most.

And Khun Perth, I know you love to act in action films. But i hope from time to time, you will come back to act like green flag Pobmek who is hopelessly in love with his partner. You should get more green flag roles Khun Perth because being in love looks gorgeous on you.

Bittersweet ending in a way? (30 ep + 5 bts ep)

The story was simple and cute, with I would say a bittersweet end in a way? Sure Nagi decided to stay at the human world with Ritsu but I wonder if in the future if he would still be around? Being a ghost and all.

Them being childhood friends and Nagi liking him since then, only for them to meet up again once he died was sad to learn :(

Maa...with plots involving human x ghost, I shouldn't be surprise by the "happy" ending hahah

Although I do find it funny how the classmates gets shock by the paranormal things Nagi do in class then the following days are normal about it, as if Ritsu didn't just float in class. I WOULD BE THINKING RITSU OR JUST THE CLASS IS HAUNTED LOL

Um universo que vale a pena explorar

“Time Raiders” entrou na minha lista depois que fiquei completamente obcecada por Archives: The Nanyang Mystery e descobri que a história de Zhang Qiling faz parte de um universo muito maior. Foi aí que percebi que teria que maratonar todos os dramas e filmes dessa franquia. E sinceramente? Não me arrependo nem um pouco.

A série é viciante do começo ao fim. Tem mistério, ação, bromance e uma história que te prende a cada episódio. Minha única recomendação é: não assista enquanto estiver comendo... você vai entender o motivo hahahah Também acho que ela merecia muito mais reconhecimento. Talvez não tenha feito tanto sucesso por não ter romance, mas isso passa longe de ser um problema.

Ainda considero Archives: The Nanyang Mystery um pouco melhor, mas Time Raiders não fica muito atrás. Só achei 18 episódios pouco para uma história tão rica. Agora só me resta esperar ansiosamente pela segunda temporada.

It gets better and better

The ML drew me in immediately, he’s like a mix of Ji Bozai from Love in the Clouds, and Duke Su from The Double. The FL took me many episodes to warm up to, it doesn’t help that she always has that startled look on her face literally all the time. As the episodes went on, it got better and better. The acting is truly superb, the costume design mind blowers, and the cinematography beautiful. I’m also obsessed with the song they play at the ending credits. WATCH IT, trust the process, it is a bit lukewarm at the very beginning. I’m about to watch the last episodes and I’m so emotionally invested in these characters, I’ve laughed and cried plenty.
