As long as love exists, the memories will remain sweet and everlasting

What moved me the most was probably this part…

At the end of Episode 8, what Lee Jae-ha says to Da-eum when he confesses his feelings can be understood on so many levels. The dialogue was absolutely incredible:

“Whenever I’m with you, I keep forgetting so many things.
You were sick, yet I couldn’t even tell.
Even though there wasn’t much time left, I kept believing there was still time.
I like you, but I thought I shouldn’t.
I thought love was just an illusion… but I know this feeling is real.”

Da-eum’s father says that the worse Da-eum feels physically, the brighter she smiles.

Namkoong Min delivers a kind of performance in this drama that I’ve never seen from him before. While watching, I kept wondering, “Is this acting, or is this simply his real self showing through?” Even now, I can’t quite explain it. His portrayal feels understated and quiet, just like how the people around Lee Jae-ha describe him — someone who rarely shows much expression, doesn’t talk much, and often lets his actions speak for him. Yet those who have worked with him for a long time know how warm-hearted he truly is.

Although Da-eum is terminally ill, the drama rarely focuses on showing her looking weak or exhausted. Instead, she keeps smiling brightly and faces life with positivity.

In the real world, do people like Da-eum truly exist?
Can someone who knows their life is nearing its end really live so fully in the present moment?

I’m grateful to have come across such a wonderful drama. And I’m grateful for Namkoong Min’s healing presence, both inside and outside the drama — appearing exactly when I needed something emotionally reliable to hold onto.

Our Movie pays extraordinary attention to small details. It feels less like a typical TV series and more like a film unfolding over several episodes. The first time I watched it, I was so focused on the plot that I missed many of the subtle moments between the two leads. But during my second viewing, I slowly began to appreciate the delicacy of the storytelling — the gradual process of two people growing closer, understanding one another, learning to empathize, and eventually falling in love.

Da-eum, knowing she has little time left, holds nothing back when experiencing the first profound love of her life. Jae-ha, meanwhile, constantly restrains himself because of the conflict between his morals and his emotions. In the end, he finally realizes that this is a kind of love he has never experienced before — this is what love truly is.

Even the movie Jae-ha is directing within the drama gradually changes alongside the development of their relationship, until its ending becomes the complete opposite of what it originally was meant to be:

“Life is finite. Eventually, everyone must say goodbye to the people they love and who love them. But as long as love exists, the memories we leave behind will remain sweet and everlasting.”

Mankoong Min is such a heartthrob

I really love this lighthearted romantic comedy, especially since the genre is a rare choice among Namkoong Min's usual high-profile K-dramas.

Female lead Hwang Jung-eum’s performance is right on par with his. The first 17 episodes are incredibly funny and lovely; the leads share a romantic dynamic that only actors of their caliber could pull off, creating an irresistible charm that completely captivates the audience. Because of their incredible chemistry, I easily overlooked the minor flaws and loose writing in the script.

I highly recommend this drama to people
(1) who wants to simply watch a rom com to release stress, or
(2) who wants to simply enjoy on-screen chemistry of the leads, or
(3) who simply loves Namkoong Min's smiles and charisma.

THE BEST SECRET CRUSH DRAMA EVER!

I'm impressed with this one.

*Astory that is too good to be true...but somehow I believe it could be true.*


Soft, fluffy romance drama.

Does seem a bit cliche but yet manages to surprise you. And I think I loved that the most.
The cinematography of this drama was just too beautiful. The angles were on point.

The whole things is just tooo cute and magical.

I love the detailing they put into some of the scenes in the drama and the little ideas of their school days which made it more special.

I MUST MENTION, the dialogues were so deep and meaningful in the drama that I started taking notes of them.

Also, the story is not just about the main couple. There's side couples also.
Like some of the other dramas, you would just want to know about main couple and the side couples feel like filler or it can sometimes be likewise.
BUTTT...BUTTT.....YOU ARE MY FATEFUL LOVE is just different and it stands to it's title.
Every other story in the drama keeps you hooked and makes you fall in love with them.

The set, I mean the house in which Ruan Yu live and the one Xu Huaisong lived were top notch and almost dreamy especially Ruan Yu's.

And last secondly, ost.
Especially the one sung by Baby J is my favorite ( i'm Baby J's big fan)

Lastly, the ending was sweet.
A Happy ending.
I liked it anyway but much more because Xu Huaisong and Ruan Yu just recreated their journey and I believe that was very thoughtful and creative of the director.

simply irresistible

Loved it! It's such a funny, sweet, and kind drama. I ADORE the ML he's so kind, honest and caring to everyone in his orbit. His sincerity and good heart ground the drama and add warmth to all the characters' interactions. I also liked the FL a lot and liked her journey. The townspeople were another favourite of mine and a humorous blend
This drama has some conversations that are really touching, and so many quirky little moments that delighted me into laughter. All I ask for in my rom-coms is lovely leads, heartfelt moments, and goofy humor, and this drama tackles those ingredients with pizzazz.

A mediocre CH3 plot saved by the phenomenal LenaMiu

My Safe Zone is a story about childhood best friends Lin and Jane, who were separated when Lin went to New York for college. Lin, whose fiancé cheated on her just before they were to be married, has returned to Thailand, reuniting with Jane.

Let's get the bad parts out of the way first. It’s a typical CH3 plot, too many subplots squeezed into 8 episodes. It’s a show that should have been destined for mediocrity.

My Safe Zone should have been a boring, girl-kissing, cash-grab, except it stars Lena and Miu. These ladies are first-rate actresses who could hold their own in any production. Working together, they are magical; their chemistry is top-tier, and the director, Patchanee Charuchinda “U”, had the good sense to let them run with it. U is also directing PLs.Love, LenaMiu’s next series, so I have high hopes.

LenaMiu serves up tender moments, and navigating the hurdles in their relationship feels believable. I tear up for sad and happy moments in this series every time I watch it, and I have rewatched it several times. I find it to be one of the stories I turn to when real life is a downer and I need an uncomplicated emotional lift.

My Safe Zone is a mediocre story that becomes excellent thanks to great acting, directing, and phenomenal chemistry. If you enjoy a simple feel-good romance, this show will probably be in your rewatch list-it's certainly in mine.

Everyone is Fighting with Their Own Worthlessness

I wasn’t planning on writing a review for this one but after finishing it, I’m almost in awe. I haven’t cried this much when watching a drama in a long time.

The writing and the storytelling are so beautiful. It makes you think, it makes you feel and it makes you empathize. The characters are flawed; at times they are cool, at times they are pathetic but mostly, they are just humans. They have their good, bad, best and worst moments. No one is a saint or purely evil, they are just trying - trying to live their life in the way they best know how. And its titles really capture the essence of this drama.

Hwang Dongman is an eccentric character. He is not very likable at first, second or even third glance. It’s almost understandable why everyone dislikes him. But is it? The more you know him, the more you understand why he is like that. He is like a mirror who reflects other’s feelings and actions towards him and amplifies them. The more people drive him into a corner, the harder he fights back, and the more people try to make him smaller, the louder he becomes. It’s as if he’s trapped into a vicious loop of negatively fueled by his own worthlessness and other’s contempt until he meets Euna who finally breaks that cycle.

Byun Euna is also someone trapped in her own trauma. She is a person full of brilliance and light but is scared to shine because she can’t let go of the people who hurt her. She lives with one foot in her past and every time someone hurts her, she is pushed back into the time when she was alone and helpless. She traps all her emotions - her pain, her hatred and hurt inside her until it grows out of control and hurts herself. Euna calls that emotion self-destruction while Dongman calls it a cry for help and slowly, she learns to fight back and channel her emotions outside instead of letting it fester inside her.

Dongman and Euna's relationship is heartfelt and raw. They found each other like a lifeboat at a time when they were both drowning. They gave each other a moment to breathe and to gather the strength to swim again. For once, they felt seen, they felt heard and found comfort in someone else’s presence.

Park Gyeongse and Ko Hyejin are characters I honestly didn't expect to like but ended up loving so much. Ko Hyejin is such a strong and amazing woman. She isn’t perfect but she has her priorities straight and sees people for who they are without the sugar-coating or being unfair. Park Gyeongse is, in all honesty pathetic but just so real. His writing is beautifully layered and executed so well that you can’t help but empathize with him. The same goes for the rest of the characters too. All of them are flawed but really, they are just struggling too.

Overall, everything in this drama just works. The production is incredible, the writing and the storytelling are beautiful, the acting is phenomenal, the osts are fitting, the comedy delivers and the emotions are felt. We Are All Trying Here is one of those dramas that lingers and stays with you long after you finished watching it and personally, it’s the best kdrama I have watched this year.

The FL spent 36 episodes trying to get the ML to say ‘I love you’ once.

TBH this drama is quite entertaining, if you have spare time you can definitely give it a try. But according to me there was some flaws in this drama.
1) The fighting scenes are good but it feels off. It could have been better. Overall for a short drama it's ok.
2) The storyline is ok-ok. It's not that catchy which will let you hooked for the next episodes.
3) The case which they were handling didn't had that much depth.
4) Those who were criminals easily poisoned many people through chemical reaction. But the ministry of justice can't crack it???? Ministry of Justice should have much manpower. But I understand as it's a short drama.
Overall it's good.

And the best part is the FL trying to get the ML to say 'I love you' (to different person, then to her) 🤣🤣. She was shipping her husband with everyone 🤣.

It's good, but also...

Perth and Santa are one of my fave bl pairings. When I saw the trailer for this series I was a little apprehensive since it looked a bit too slapstick for my taste. Fortunately, the slapstick was minimal. But that doesn't mean there aren't any other problems.

The plot is clear. Teacher who loves his job has a boyfriend who's only a teacher to follow his boyfie. Then the first mentioned gets into an accident and as a consequence, regresses to his childhood every other day. This snowballs into his boyfriend needing to deal with a child in man-form and trying to find out how to repair the situation.

So far, so good. This makes for a quite humorous premise and could have been cute and nice. However, we also het hit with the childhood trauma of Sun, and the reason the regression happened is unraveled slowly. The episodes get heavier and towards the final episode we are so pained by Sun's traumatic past , that I started dreading the next episode in fear for even more painful revelations. And sure enough, until the forelast episode this is maintained. I was sobbing for poor Sun. And wondering why we get such an overload on horrible events. The connection between the regression and the child could have been made with less. This was really too much. The lighter notes, set by Sammy in the role of the interim headmistress among others, fall totally flat against the horrible oredeals that Sun has to deal with.
Some side characters who should have been more important throughout the story are introduced without any foreshadowing and we get so many flashbacks to fill in these blanks that I was getting confused at times.
What's good is that the acting and cinematography are very well done. The PerrhSanta chemistry is certainly there. Santa is fantastic in switching between child Sun and adult Solar. The arc of Perth's character (i forgot his name already) from child fearing to child caring is natural and endearing.
Here's another that bothered me: everybody is too soft-spoken. People tend to get irritated at certain things. Not these people. Nothing but respect and niceness. Boring.
I think the way the story is told is not very suitable for a drama. In a book this works, but not really on a screen.

Cute

A really cute fast paced drama! Can be finished within a day or two. The premise is entertaining and it's naturally very comical. Nothing groundbreaking, but an easy/enjoyable watch for the highschool drama genre.
I will say, the ML is surprisingly refreshing! I assumed based on first introductions that he'd be the typical "tsundere" ML, but he's actually very sincere and adorably introverted. (No tragic backstory!? Emotionally Intelligent? Wild.) He also doesn't really take a major role in the other character's "drama"(comparatively), which makes him a sort of steady anchor in the show. We love a consistent love interest 👏 (Third act misunderstandings. where??? ; P)

Unexpectedly good!

It was kind of slow at the beginning but then eventually picked up. After rewatching it, that's when I truly appreciated every episode. The leads were amazing and so are the supporting cast. Frequent laughs were a happy bonus! I decided to keep my logic under wraps and just gobbled up the premise of the story...and I enjoyed every moment. It is a drama with heartfelt life lessons. I appreciated even more how good of an actor Tan JianCi truly is while Li LanDi did what she could to portray a "not so attractive" girl. It may not have been her actual appearance or features but how she perceived herself (as unattractive or undesirable) because of how the people around her made her feel.

Highly recommended!

My God... What a Woman!

Often in a show, you know who to hate and who to love. Who to proverbially spit on and who to empathize with. Who to have good thoughts about and whose neck you want to ring. It's often clear-cut, with maybe a few grey characters here and there.

But what if one character was an embodiment of all the above? You hate to love her and live to hate her. You empathize with her one minute, and the next, you start thinking that hell really should have separate sections. We truly can't all go to the same place and suffer the same punishments..., right?

As Kazuko said in the finale, her life is entertaining. She is an enigma. A confusing, puzzling woman whom I don't even know if I like, hate, respect her or am wholly afraid of. Her ambition and desire to be richer than probably God himself is insane, in the best of ways. However, the things that she does to get to where she eventually ended up... Yikes.

I love how complex she was. She was never good. Morally grey at best when she was a child, but life turned her into something else entirely. I am envious of how she never let life beat her down. How she always got up, survived, and pivoted. Was it all due to luck? The men in her life? Her brilliance and conniving nature? Or a combination of everything?

Personally, I think it's the latter. She had insane luck on her side, was as brilliant as she was conniving, and was strong despite all the misfortune and setbacks that hounded her. And above all, she was a damn good con artist. But despite the evil that she was at the end, there was still some good in her. A tiny sliver of it, but it was there. I understand her, and she scares me

PS: I know the plot was about Kazuko herself, but I wish we had seen more of her family. Her sisters, especially. The sisters, especially the oldest, never liked her (and Kazuko looked down on her, too). I wonder how they felt over the years. Her brother's story would have been interesting too. Of all the family members, he was with her the most till she dumped him for her image. I wonder what his life had been like walking behind Kazuko all those years

Best BL I've Seen in a While

This definitely contains spoilers.

This series was not exactly what I was expecting. I knew the base of the story, but the show itself surprised me. It was such a journey!
I couldn't stop smiling, gasping, and screaming out of worry/ shock. There were many twists and turns, but they were amazingly done so I'm glad that I was able to be a part of it.

Namping surprised me. He did such an amazing job and left me with a good impression. Playing the quiet and shy really suited him since he's a little bit like that IRL. Khem is such a sweet guy who's only fault was trying to protect his family and friends as a kid in his fast life over 300 years ago. Regardless, he’s very kind and has a big heart with lots of love to share.

Keng did great. He wasn't trying to be funny and I think that made me like his character even more. It suited him very well. Peem is a serious guy who wants to protect those around him and will do anything for Khem, despite his promise to his grandfather. I like him a lot, especially when he's a little jealous lol.

Firstone was a perfect choice for Jet. Being chaotic somehow suits him very well. Jet is a caring person who doesn’t want to lose his best friend, so he’ll search for ways to protect him from death.

Tle left me a little speechless. His character, Charn, is a silly guy who has the worst eyesight I’ve ever witnessed lol. In my mind, Tle is different from Charn but that being said, makes him an even better actor, right? Also, Charn is very caring and will do his best to help.

Ek and Thong were so cute! I read some people say that they were useless to the series but I didn’t see it that way. They helped the guys many times when in danger, and popped out of nowhere to be comedic relief. So, in my opinion they were very useful. And cute. I cried on EP 9.

The crew did an amazing job with cinematography, music, special effects, the whole works! I really love how the story was written and would wish to see other things like Khemjira.

In EP 12 with the final battle against Ramphueng, when the monk revealed who he was, it felt as though she let go of her entire revenge plan that she had for 300-400 years was almost completely forgotten. Don’t get me wrong, happy that she reunited with her son and that she finally let Khem live, but it was like a 180 switch, which realistically isn’t easy. It takes time to heal and to find clarity. Still, happy to know that she moved on after centuries of hate and heartache. Almost cried with the flashbacks haha.

In conclusion, Khemjira is GREAT! It’s definitely something I would recommend to others. Honestly, this series is on my list of “I’d lose my memory just to watch again” lol.

Not a Romance Story (slight spoilers)

First of all, I'd like to say that if you're looking for a love story, this series is not it.

When you start watching, our couple is already together, so it doesn't contain the cliche tropes like a break-up, flirting, or chasing. It is about the problems our couple start facing when one of them gets into an accident.

I have to applaud GMMTV for the great series they put out this time!

Plot:

The plot makes you curious about what happened to our character turn from "Solar" to "Nong Sun", and you feel frustrated together with his boyfriend, Pobmek, who suddenly must raise a child, despite not getting along well with children.

The plot is more focused on the growth of the characters than the story, which is mostly uncovered towards the end. The way Solar's friends and lover deal with his split personality really makes you root for them, and sympathize with their situation.

Characters:

All of the characters are flawed, are human. But their growth and change leaves you feeling satisfied.

Sodcheun and Jee are very good and supportive friends that don't let our Pobmek feel alone with his dilemma.

Pobmek and Solar's relationship is very warm and loving, I loved that even when Pobmek was struggling and feeling tired because of his lover, he never once thought of giving up on him. Their relationship is really one anyone would want to have!

Sun was very adorable, I understood why Pobmek struggled with him and wanted to get rid of him at first, but on second thought, he's a child, children like to play around, why should we restrict him? I'm glad that Pobmek felt way more tolerant of children towards the end of the series.

I want to talk a bit about Pobmek's mom; I was very surprised that she didn't give us the cliche "how can my son be gay" reaction haha she was actually more against him being a teacher than that!

Music:

I personally liked the music very much, I'll probably listen to it even though I finished the series. Very warm.

Other:

The cinematography was good, so colorful and artistic, and I loved their outfits! Especially Solar's colorful clothing, it was very unique and caught my attention. I bet the stylists had a fun time with them, it's colorful but not too flashy, very pleasing to the eyes.

Overall:

If you feel you're ready for a bit of an emotional plot, then please watch it!! I recommend it 100%
Perth and Santa did an amazing job at acting this out, they'll let you feel the emotions with them!!
P.S. there are no spicy scenes, so don't even wait for such a thing!!
