But overall, it's a very good story, just be ready for a lot of tragedy and get some tissues ready when u watch. Plus yamada and ayase are very good actors so it's a real tragic treat.

The 19 year old one looks like Seo In Guk and the 29 year old looks like Kim woo bin. I shit you not. I had to look clearly to confirm they were not.
The premise is good and different characterisation is also good. But the 29 year old one, I mean come on. If you got crush on someone you don't go around fuc**ing people of her friends, colleages etc in front of her creating an image of playboy, slut. Then go around moping after finding that crush has fallen for other guy. Come on , what kind of shit is this character smoking??
Edit : woah.. I hated the 29 year old guy at first but he came on right track by the end. The romance was good in all three pairs. I thght it wuld not deliver but It surprised me.
This is a good drama worth of 8.5 / 10

If you want light but thrilling drama, you guys should check this out. The only downside of this drama is that it gets really unrealistic at times but really enjoyable overall. The chemistry between the leads is SO LIT and I couldnt get over it for weeks. I really love the acting and there are no awkward moments of acting between the leads. All seems natural and legit!

The other characters in the drama are also interesting, each having his/her own thing to be remembered with.
I recommend the drama to those who like dramas like City Hunter or The Healer, for me watching this was a really thrilling experience.

Then about Ji Soo, I just wish he will get the girl in a drama someday and be the main lead, he's a good actor and deserves it !
It's the first time I saw Park Bo Young in a drama and while I usually don't like the main female lead, I liked her a lot.
It was good to see a show with a strong woman ^^ I mean, usually in shows women are weak and are being rescued by men but here she was the one rescuing others and it was refreshing.
I loved Bong Soon's family too. Especially her dad. But yeah, to see that they took the wife beating the husband part quite lightly and joking about it was wrong. Even if they tried to explain it at the end... So, that was the part I didn't like about the DBS's mom.
I liked Baek Tak and the gang's part, that was quite funny. And I enjoyed even more the high schoolers part. I wish we saw them more.
Then the plot with the serial killer was also interesting but I'm disappointed that we don't really know his motives, his background.. Why is he really doing that? What made him become like that? How come did he have that much money?
So, I would say this drama is mixing a lot of different genre especially a thriller plot and a romance comedy part. I feel like they did it good but only in a shallow way. They didn't go deep at all and that for every aspect of the show expect for the romance part. Which is why I wouldn't rate it higher.
However, since it was a more of a funny drama, I wasn't expecting them to go deep I think, I just wanted the drama to be entertaining and it was.
Usually, dramas are funny in the beginning and then it is more and more sad with a lot of obstacle towards the end but here it was different. It was funny from the beginning until the end and that's what I liked in that show.
Of course, there is an exception : episode 13. It was the worst and most cliche episode of the show. I seriously was afraid the remaining episodes would be like that but thankfully they weren't. Seriously this episode doesn't make any sense for me. And, if ever I rewatch the show, I would probably skip it.
I wish we knew more about Min Hyuk's family, and that they went deeper about some characters and part of the show but well they just focused on the funny and romance part. They maybe could have add more episodes (2?) for that but well I still like it that way. I also think a second season could be great too. Maybe not with 16 episodes but well, I would watch it for sure.
The music in Strong Woman DBS is good, not great, but good. In the first episodes, I couldn't remember any songs from the show but eventually I did. The music was cute, refreshing like the drama. It suited it well.
So, I would say that you should watch it if you want to watch a funny drama that you are ready to not take seriously and just enjoy without thinking too much.

The writing is smart and super funny. I love the banter between Su Mang and Zheng Chu, alternately playful and frustrated. The mad chemistry between these two leads leave you wanting more.
This is an easy watch (mostly). No maddening hateful characters that take over the entire show and leave you drained. The last third of the drama starts to get heavy and melo-like but overall it is a very well done romantic comedy with sprinkles of melo. Supporting characters and secondary OTPs complement the show well without overtaking the importance of the primary leads.
The show does have its share of scratch your head moments. For example, where's the baby bump Su Mang? And the ending to one of the characters is questionable but these are but minor quibbles.
Overall, very entertaining. And the OST is super catchy. Loved it.

It's my first review so I'm not sure if I can be helpful but here we go.The story: it's your typical drama plot, the only difference is that there's a lot of kimchi involved in the first third/half of the drama.
It's way too long, at one point the drama is literally dragging to the end, I finished it just because I had it in the background as I did other things. If we skipped all the unnecessary stuff it would have been a lot shorter.
The acting: The actors are good at what they do and facial expressions are the main point here, I was particularly impressed with the child's (the one that play Da-Yool) acting, for her 10/10. But again, there wasn't much variety in the acting as well as the characters don't really develop and the expressions you see in the first 10 episodes are basically gonna be it for the rest of the drama.
Music: Overused drama music and soundtracks, I gave it a higher score since I don't dislike them, but it's nothing new.
I wouldn't rewatch this drama, but if like me you like to have some background noise to which you don't particularly pay attention while doing other things then this is perfect.
Even if you miss something don't worry, half of the drama consists of flashbacks anyways.
Overall it is not a masterpiece but it's watchable, and made me crave for kimchi.
Edit/ (a little spoiler)
There's no fact check in the drama, they receive a newspaper from Italy and it's in korean, on top of that they talk about kimchi in Italy when we (yes I live in Italy) do NOT have kimchi in Italy, unless it's imported from korea and you can only find it in small asian shops.
I get that it might sound cool, but it would've been better without these kind of things.

The first time I watched this was in 2011,then in 2013, again in 2015 and just finished watching it today. I can relate to every bits of it.
Fo me this is a "Life Checker",I can get fond of things same as watching RomCom Dramas like Full House, Be carelessly in love as Coffee Price/Only You, be maturely in love as DOTS, be under love's mystery as Goblin, but just as how it is in real life, one should have a stage in their life to see how I've done in life so far, how well I dealt with people, how people dealt with me, how I felt about things in the past, present and future, how people might have felt towards me, and while being with the one you love sharing all nice things together and able to express your love really happens, at one point, there is a Han Kang in you or would wish someone like han kang exist in your life, the unexplainable love you have for a person or a person has for you that you get to show and appreciate or he get to show or appreciate, in spite of time, opportunities, distance, presence or absence.
And as for Ji Hyun's life in the drama:
"Does a reality exist where you do not mis-understand and you are not misunderstood? Is sincerely something i should consider first from my position or the other position?"
Even with purest intensions, you might find yourself asking those questions, but just as how the story turned out, the best way to life your life is to choose to love even if you ended up misunderstood, and to be sincere first even if you ended up being betrayed, because a person's heart can always change, and what you do greatly affect what would one's heart turn out to be."
Shout out to Lee Yo-won's acting, I have never seen any other Korean actress acted as good as her. There were not much of changes they had to with with her appearance to distinguish the 3 characters she played, her great acting alone was convincing enough.
Rest of the cast did good acting too.
Jo Hyun Jae, will always be close to my heart :)

While this drama delt with serious issues such as the corruption of high ranking officials, a master puppeteer behind it all and a mystery/tragedy regarding Jung Ho and Young Shin's parents, it never felt like a heavy watch. This really worked for me, even if I am a fan of heavier melodramas. The fight scenes reminded me a bit of the Bourne series but they were graceful and acrobatic as opposed to brutal/gritty. The romance is what I'd call squeal inducing and the chemistry between the actor and actress playing Jung Ho and Young Shin is one of the best I 've seen. I really enjoyed watching him slowly fall for her. Initially, he'd thought her strange and annoying but once he got to know her it all changes and fans of the romance genre will enjoy the sweetness of their moments together.
Side characters such as master hacker Jo Mina and Young Shin's (adoptive) lawyer father Chae Chi Soo were also a delight to watch- their interactions with the main leads added a lot to the lightness of the series. Another thing I liked about Healer is that the main characters aren't always overwhelmed by the villains' actions. I've watched a handful of kdramas now and I've noticed that in the heavier ones I've seen they often write it in such a way that the villains seem to always be one step ahead of the heroes. I guess they do that to make the story more suspensful and aggravating for the viewers but this has always been a hit or miss for me. I'm glad they took a different approach with Healer. I wouldn't say that the villains didn't give the leads substantial difficulties to overcome- they certainly did. But the leads always came back fighting and then we'd get another round of challenges. This didn't make it any less exciting.
Overall, this was a fun, fast paced (romantic! action filled! hilarious!) watch and I can easily see myself rewatching this, even over many of my other favorites :)
