SAY WHAT?
Okay this one is on a whole different level of WHAT THE FUDGE WAS THAT .She sees a man on the roof who she thinks is about to jump but was mistaken, and instead of turning around and leaving, the girls deep kisses her and she doesn't find it offence or slap the shit out of the guy.
that's just ep 1.
the rest I don't remember how it went, but I did like it to finish watching it
FL is either crazy pysco or very stupid and naive or horny as a dog because she just invited a guy she doesn't know from adam to her house at night, the guy refused then show up at her house when she never ?gave him the address then she invite the guy to come up, then tells the guy what I said I wasn't thinking, what if I want a kiss?
who wrote this crap, this chic can get hurt by this man that no one knows like huh?
They always make the women in Jdramas look so easy for sex and doesn't care showing their boobs either
why is women lowered so much in these dramas? no self esteem for the women
FL screams crazy and all the men in here screams pysco what why is the drama so entertaining

Wannabe Aspiring Actor
A lot of names were thrown around in the beginning with not a lot of context, so you had to make a mental note to connect them later on—a really annoying practice, to say the least. Supposedly, the male lead was in China before coming to SK, but the drama made it a running joke for a couple of episodes that he was a caveman. This made the whole family meeting and living together a bit too cringe. There were many ways to approach such a scenario, but it seems the writer took the lazy route. Some scenes were stretched really thin and became too awkward to continue, like that one scene of both leads and Sang Chul talking about the old hotel staff photo. The drama would've benefited from having more grandchildren and better interconnected stories between them. Although there were three grandchildren, the middle one was an insignificant sidekick and didn't contribute to the dynamic as much as I hoped. The ending brought a change of heart to all of the opposing characters, but some of them didn't seem genuine in the slightest. Was this review helpful to you?

just the plot description- watched with really bad Eng Subs, so my apologies....
Hi everybody, MDL does not have the plot listed so here it is:I watched this drama just to see Li Fei who imho is a darn good actor and should be playing in more mainstream pieces. This was a new FL playing with him and their scenes together were not as good as the ones we already swooned over (ha ha ha, we all know that Mr. Li knows exactly how to fool us into believing he is kissing the females). But back to the plot:
A young FL (14 or so) falls in love with a blind man, who is later cured and reciprocates the affection for FL. But then they get separated because he goes to war. Luckily, he comes back and reunites with FL, but... The old creep of an Emperor hell bent on getting the girl snatches her as his (I guess) concubine. The FL is heartbroken and so is her spirit because of the cruelty of the emperor towards her. As any sexually traumatized person, she only knows sexual acting out, and does so with any man that reminds her of the love she lost. Somewhere there with the lovers there is Crowned Prince (I think) with whom she has some steamy encounters and who clearly is very attracted to her. Then the old creepy Emperor dies, and FL becomes Dowager Empress, so perhaps crown prince saves her from death (?) However, the promiscuity of the Dowager goes on for about 15 years and the whole country hates her for that. Among her lovers there is a man who reminds her so much of her lover that she starts doing things she is unsure about. It doesn't help that she somehow also gets involved with the new Emperor....
Don't hate me for this. Just trying to give the community more info on this mini drama. I will look for better subs in English and then write a review.

Green Mothers
At first sight, you might think this drama was about the mothers and children in this community, but the mystery tag was there for a reason. This drama was kind of a mess; it tried to pack in a lot of themes and tropes you often find in female centered plots but failed to do any of them right and brushed off each one shortly after. The plot was equally disorganized and messy; it started with the ghosts from the past, the community of mothers and the tension with Jin Ha, then shifted to the female lead's prodigy kid, then turned into a murder mystery "whodunit," then moved on to some side stories, and then returned to the murder mystery with crimes and drugs. What even was that? I'm not sure what is the correlation between female centered plots and displaying all men in a negative light; this drama was no exception. If their intent was to give a highlight with social commentary, then it's obviously not a good way to do it.Was this review helpful to you?

LOVED IT
What I liked about this drama was that, even though FL was sooooooo cringe, you get use to it because ML makes it all worth while. He always pretends like he doesn't love her and makes fun of her, but when he starts to kiss her you can see how much he's fallen for her without knowing it fully himself, he gets jealous when other men are around her, and also especially when she left to go back home, the back hug said it all.I would have love the cringe to be less with the FL but overall I loved it.
I have rewatched this drama many times and it never gets boring
I wish there was a second season

DFF tried too hard to be different
This series has probably the worst case of plot development/planning I’ve seen recently. The main issue is the wish to be different and way too mysterious. BoC loved saying this was the first BL with a murder mystery and that’s where they got it wrong. The first 4 episodes are terribly boring. Nothing really happens, while a lot of things happen. But how? It’s all filler.Once the flashbacks are introduced, the series is light years ahead in terms of quality and actually starts to have a story. Episode 5, out of 12, is when the series really happens for me. BoC missed the mark by not including flashbacks since the first or second episode. We don’t even meet the main character, Non, until episode 5, that’s a bad move.
Regarding the ending, everybody dies is the best case scenario. I didn’t think BoC would actually go for it. The only character I could see living and it working well would be Tee. Being alive is his big punishment after causing everything that happened and literally killing his boyfriend, the only innocent person. Saving Jin would be a major letdown, since he actively caused Non’s spiral and helped destroy his life with that video. All because he was jealous.
I love Barcode’s original song for the series.

Fun, funny, intense, and interesting dystopian story
This was a really interesting story and a lot of fun without being too superficial or too dark. I enjoyed the plot and I enjoyed how it moved along and didn't waste a lot of time on unimportant things. Definitely worth a season 2.Everybody's acting was pretty good. I'd like to imagery in a lot of ways because they made it very clear and bright while discussing a subject that was somewhat dark. The game show itself was really interesting but you know predictable in some ways because of the story of the show being rigged. But the way they described the subject around it was interesting.

Wannabe Delinquents
On one hand, it tackled some important complexities surrounding youth crime and the justice system. But on the other hand, it felt like it was hitting the viewers over the head with its message a bit too hard. They always found a way to end up being overly preachy. I guess that's part of the overdramatization? The drama had a handful of cases but these were presented in descending order, with each one being less appealing than its predecessor. I feel conflicted about some of the cast choices, but if we were to ignore that and only focus on the characters, the situation didn't look so bright either. By episode 6, they started to inject personal stories and affairs, but it was a bit too late to have proper development when the drama was just 10 episodes. In the end, it was a watchable law drama with some notable ideas but remained average until the end.Was this review helpful to you?
Dysfunctional Characters
The drama kicked off with good modern visuals and an interesting fantasy setting on a mystical island. However, it quickly unraveled. The fantasy elements, though visually appealing, peaked in the first two episodes, while the remainder felt like a rehash of what we'd already seen. It's strange that they revealed all their cards in the beginning, leaving the rest feeling empty. The female lead was sent to the island to work as a teacher, but this plotline was completely irrelevant and didn't last for more than one episode. The direction the drama took with the fantasy story turned out to be quite disappointing afterwards. More on characters, the female lead was an unstoppable cringe generator with her non-serious interactions, especially with the male lead in the earlier parts. It was the writers way trying desperately to build chemistry between the two, but it was impossible without rewriting the characters themselves. However, the character that suffered the most from both the writers' curse and the cast choice was Goong Tan. It doesn't take a blind man to see what was wrong. The drama ended up being this shallow shipwreck of recycled ideas and bland characters. Was this review helpful to you?

Teacher Mechanic Accountant Pilot
You know they began to run out of ideas when they start to merge professions. It makes me wonder what might come next, but the entire law genre had plateaued, and coming up with new unexplored ideas got only more difficult. The entire hearts swapping operation at the beginning of the drama was flawed and didn't make any sense. Instead of giving us a cohesive storyline, we were left with this mishmash of abandoned subplots and forced plot turns that were hard to sell. You may expect a lot of highly implausible scenarios and you gonna nod your head and just accept it. Neither of the main leads brought any appealing character or performance making it difficult to empathize with their struggles or connect with their motivations. Was this review helpful to you?
Sweet and inspiring
I adored almost everything about this show. Karan and Achi were adorable, and really cute together. I loved the office and all the characters there. This adaption really focused on themes like hard-work, pursuing your dreams, overcoming challenges, found-family, personal-development... that kinda thing. Very inspiring messages.I confess, though, I struggled with the Jinta/Min storyline. It was better than the Japanese adaption (IMO) and there was a lot to love about it (the message was very inspiring) but the comedy really, really wasn't to my taste. AT ALL!! But that was also my issue with the Jinta/Min storyline in the Japanese adaption so I think it's a problem I have with the source material not the adaptions (I haven't read the original).
As for what I thought of it as an adaption... I really loved that it was slightly different from the Japanese adaption. I think each version of a story SHOULD be different, otherwise there's no point having different versions, and it's fun seeing how different parts of the story are interpreted or presented.
Overall, I really enjoyed it.

Delusional Love
An interesting mixed bag of ideas with varying degrees of execution. Although the first story #23 was the worst one out of the four stories, the first episode in itself was a really bad introduction for the expected quality of this show. I don't fully agree with the resolution of each story. Although each story presented a plausible real situation, but the drama went for the easy way out and ended each one safely. There was one thing the drama kinda brushed off, the mysterious woman across the fours stories. It seems her purpose was to give the leads a little nudge, but beyond that, we don't know much. Was this review helpful to you?
Superb quality series
Awesome storytelling that captivates you within 15mins. It's a little like Squid game (friendly version) plus Single's inferno but in a idol and fan girl setting. All the actors did a great job in portraying their characters. Production is of superb quality that makes everything looks so fun with some mystery and twists. Overall, a super fun and quality series that suits everybody. Was this review helpful to you?
Wannabe Delinquents
It started strong with a gripping premise but kind of lost its footing pretty quickly. I was expecting it to go deeper with its theme, given the +18 rating, but it remained super surface-level throughout, and the rating seemed to be there just because the plot included cannabis. It feels like a big wasted plot to something that could've been actually good. There were all these random side stories thrown in that were just bland and irrelevant. The attempts at emotional depth felt forced and artificial, as if the writer was more concerned with eliciting sympathy than giving a better portrayal of its theme. In the end, the drama will likely end up being a forgettable one.Was this review helpful to you?
