Okay, there's an assembly of NINE people on the poster: warning number 1. Aom Piyada is way past her thirties, even. I remember she looked too old for Nut Devahastin in 'Artid Ching Duang' in 2009 already, but this is not her lovestory. We have Vill Wannarot & Jes Jespipat here for this. Their chemistry should work well? The two actors started dating after this aired...

These two start interacting in episode 3. Aom Piyada is Jes Jespipat's mother in this, and goes even more psychopatic than in the mentioned 'Artid Ching Duang'. She almost kills Vill Wannarot's main girl some early episode like 5th, but it passes on more or less like nothing happened. To be honest, I did not want to watch 27 episodes of this. Vill & Jes might have dated in reality but their onscreen connection is nothing much. Not into the half-psychopatic middle aged couple, either... What else is there? Point Cholawit flirts heavily with Janis Janistar, but is that enough?

This is so clearly not my kind of lakorn, lol. Whenever Vill Wannarot's nang'ek finds herself alone on a romantic looking beach, it's not the pra'ek, but the psychopatic middle aged harpy portrayed by Aom Piyada, who finds her there. Vill & Jes's scenes, as meek as they tend to be, take very small percentage of the screentime. As soon as episode 7/27, I was already massively bored and particularly disenterested in the whole plot involving Attempted Murder, Hidden Identity, Birth Secret, Evil Stepmother, Step-siblings Love, Murder and Amnesia. Which seems like a bad parody, but actually is only a listing of this show's Tags (VERY useful tool on MDL, helps me avoid a lot of cr*p:) I had LOADS of thai lakorns already downloaded on my drive, which was the only reason why I even attempted this.

The forefathers of KBL

There are a lot of dark, angsty BLs from different countries out there but this is one of the few that actually made my heart hurt.

A big contributing factor to this drama's greatness is its OST. The songs are amazing and I still have them on my daily playlist years after I first watched this. The songs are too good.

The acting. What can I say? They embodied their characters perfectly. You believe the brattiness. You believe the guarded sensitivity. You believe it all. Their chemistry is seriously one of the best. So magnetic. Their longing gazes? Damn.

A con is how there's actually very little character development. With so little time and so few episodes, everything can't really be explored. Another con is the dead fish kiss. Really. I'd rather have no kisses at all than a dead fish one. Their chemistry without this is enough to carry through.

Overall, it's one of my absolute favorites. Watch this. You won't regret it. It's painful yes, but it's also beautiful.

I maybe a minority in this review, but this Xianxia gone bad from episode 11 onward. Dropping it.

Till the End of the Moon is one of the most anticipated Xianxia Cdrama of 2023, starting with Leo Luo, Bai Lu as the main CP, and Chen Du Ling and Deng Wei as the 2nd CP.

Xianxia genre is not my thing, but I like Leo Luo and Bai Lu in Love is Sweet because their onscreen chemistry in that drama was off the chart. I am watching this Xianxia drama because of them. The good things so far about this drama are the production quality is so good, the CGI, and the costumes.

I enjoyed the first 10 episodes, but it went downhill for me from episodes 11-16 because of the fighting scenes and characters of Ming Yi and Sang Jiu. It took f***ing 5 episodes to fight between good and evil. These 5 episodes were confusing and had no linkage to Tantai Jin and Li Su Su characters thus far.

What's up with the asteroids and all the gods? Ultimately, they could not win over the devil, and all the gods and Ming Yi died. It was lame that Sang Jiu located and rescued him by transporting him into a tiny dragon, wtf.

I am so disappointed and unsure if I want to suffocate myself to continue with this drama. It is 40 episodes long and last an hour for each episode. Too much time to be wasted on a horrible script with stupid fillers. Grrr...

In addition, Chen Du Ling is a one-dimensional actress; I wish they would cast someone else better. I watched AvenueX ranting about how bad this drama is, and I agreed with her. I will not waste my precious time with it, even when I like Leo Luo and Bai Lu's acting abilities.

I am giving it a 4.5 rating.

wtf is happening in tis show srsly

so basically she dates whoever she wants and the guy is supposed to accept her as it is ? tf. see i support everything but not two timing and cheating. the girl has got tis victim face and personality whnever she is placed where she shld be. i liked the her ex tbh hes the guy who u will see in the first episode. tht guy knew his worth but the way she spoke to him aft dumping him like shit was soooooo frustrating. i wanted to rip tht "oh i am the victim pls be soft on me" face so bad tbh. like wth girl if u apologise do u think the broken heart of the man is fixed?
also wat is wrong wit the leads?
i tot theyll be like "tis is wrong and i dont deserve tis" type instead they were actually stupid to tag along to her shit.
no hate towards the actors just tht the characters were shitty
i felt like crying whn she was acting stuck up wit her ex in the bar scene like the man cried so much and also during the break up wit the younger lover now ex
so she dating 2 ppl even in the last episode? tf
anyways her life idc but i wouldnt recommend tis drama ever to anyone who is going into a relationship tbh.
watch at ur own risk cuz tis drama can make ur toes curl in frustration
but i like the storyline as they "tried" to attempt making tis diff frm other web series still not so great too
hope yall find my review useful and tis is purely my opinion and i hope it doesnt offend anyone.

I WAS FUCKING RIGHT, it's too late though I've already grown to love this psycho <3

!!MAJOR SPOILERS!! WATCH FIRST

This drama is so good! The plot twists, everytime I think I know the plot, they hit with the are you sure? then it changes woah!!

At the start it's kinda confusing cause I don't know and literally can't remember for the life of me who's who but it's always like that at the beginning still this one had too many people!!

I was so confused with Jae hoon and Sung Yo Han, swear those two were the same person?!? I thought I got his name wrong this entire time but actually it's not even him it's BA REUM!!!

Ko Moo Chi was my fav since day 1 like how are u gonna try to kill someone and when they try to do it themselves you scold them as if they're your child??? talking about some 'come down from there now', 'I won't shoot you I was just playing', 'you're too pretty for jail and you know they're perverts there so...'? and this is ep 1 don't get me started on the pettiness, he really kicked his seniors chair cause he was frustrated, you weren't wrong but please don't throw a tantrum in the middle of a police station?? all fun and games but stop promising people you're going to kill for them!!

Moo Chi and Choi Hong Joo hilarious at the begining, they're a duo but not really because it's just for mutual benefits.

Bong Yi and her grandma are such an amazing duo everytime they're on screen I end up laughing though it's kinda sad wish they were nicer to each other, can't believe Bong Yi decided to blame her and called her cause she can't walk in the rain!! First of all Ba Reum is meant to be walking you still (I think) and second let's get a therapist and deal with our trauma because my grandma won't be there for me forever how about that huh?? PLUS she loves to blame everyone. To be honest Bong Yi trauma is 100% valid and her not being able to cross the bridge is fine but please don't blame everyone around you.

I was genuinely convinced that Ba Reum was a psychopath from episode 1 because of his interaction with the head hunter and slowly I was piecing it together like when Daniel said that the gene is dormant and gets awaken after the first kill I thought maybe that's why Ba Reum is so nice, sweet and sensitive?? Or when Yo Han mentions about the other child who is a monster that I physically erased from my memory how could I forget the mom met another mother at Daniels clinic!! But I kept doubting myself and still ended up liking him though so the end of episode 4 I was so shocked!! I thought it was Yo Han then.. its all fake!? And Ba Reum was super cool and brave instead. After comes episode 6 where Ba Reum and Yo Han are both dying and having this prolonged eye contact for whatever fucking reason, it just makes me like him but also be more suspicious of Ba Reum then when he killed the bird I wasn't even shocked (kinda wish I was tho would make it more interesting) but was instead super confused was I right? are you showing your true self cause you're pissed or is it a change that happened now?? But Thy tricked me and said it's cause of the injury!! but I WAS FUCKING RIGHT, it's too late though I've already grown to love this psycho <3 was really routing for him in his imaginary fights with Yo Han lol. Didn't want him as a psychopath watching him talk about the hiking murder actually creep me the fuck out bring back sensitive Ba Reum, I still have mixed feeling after everything cause psychopathic Ba Reum is kind of... but sensitive Ba Reum is also so I really don't know!!

Ba Reum psychopathic 'twin-telepathy' connection is dumb af that's literally impossible like you can sense something maybe if you're near or hold a convo/eye contact with someone and be like wait maybe we're similar, I accept that BUT not just a straight up your not a psychopath, your not a psychopath, you... are not a psychopath but YOU def a psychopath, cries wtf?!?

Iwas panicking when he was having 'Yo Han's' memories literally I was like; Why is he having memories of young Yo Han aka Jae Hoon when it's not his?!?! Are u literally mentally connected omg please don't let this show go down hill it was going so well!! Are him and Yo Han like spiritually connected cause Ba Reum felt hurt when seeing Hong Joo. Glad that wasn't it cause the show would've downgraded.

When Seo Joon transplanting his Yo Han's brain into Ba Reum because of Hong Joo, I wanted to slap her because I thouh it was because of Yo Han, now knowing the truth I'm so glad she did.

Moo Chi anger during the live in episode 5 is truly heartbreaking got me sobbing while watching it... then what they did to his brother why!!!

I feel a bad for Yo Han cause a some of students tried to beat him to death just cause of his 'father', all of this pain because of his mom poor boy.

Bong yi with Suseong serial murder case saying that Ba Reum will find the survivor then when he says that's hard, her and Koo Dong Goo give him puppy dog eyes, adorable but cmon are u a pushover or just a softie towards Bong Yi, Ba Reum lmao. Bong Yi is so unlucky she can't just live her life!! then Ba Reum being the true killer all along omg Bong Yi run before it's too late!!!

There were some weird transition or scene cuts throughout the show at one point Bong yi was in the rain with her hood all the way down then at a different angle she wasn't it was a little messy but just some scenes and I wished they stated things properly too cause even after getting the answer it still left me somewhat confused, this is because instead of giving us an investigative storyline we got given one with holes or a manipulated view where we have to throw that entire view away once the true answer given. They use science and scientific terms though it's scientifically incorrect which as someone with degree not just in science but forensic science it annoyed me at points it even got unrealistic where I just wanted to yell that's not how the world works. Another thing you shouldn't look too deeply in is certain logistics like why two guards who are protecting someone both leave their posts unattended it's stupid.

All the characters had dark pasts to try and justify why they acted a certain way which to be honest was a little too much and at times just wished they'd stop. Though I enjoyed this drama it was cause of the actors story and scenery as well as the emotions portrayed that made me fall for this because the plot you could easily guess it and at the end they gave a cliche bad guy turned good one which was done beautifully but also wish I could have gone a different way.

!!My favourite Moo Chi quotes!!

"Come down from there now!" and "I won't shoot you I was just playing" need context with these but why is he saying this when he is a detective!? he need to be fired but also don't lol.

"I heard your parents waited 10 years to have you. I bet they were thrilled without even knowing how spoiled you'd turn out to be" it's limited edition okay I would want it back too even if its an umbrella.

"No, I found you uncomfortable" (saying it to Choi as she wants to work together after the whole Yo Han thing) damn straight faced and all, I get it but no hesitation whatsoever lmao

"I dont like that jerk either" Lol after yelling at Nepo he moves straight to Detective Lee leave them alone u deserved to sit in that cell and use your leftover braincells to think over all the stupid shit you do as you try to get yourself imprisoned!!

The entire I got mugged speech and the other officers looking a him like *side eye* hilarious.

"I should've caught and killed Kang Duk Soo myself. You have no idea how bitter I am that someone beat me to it" HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT AS A DETECTIVE?!?! How this man still has a job is truly a miracle, make sure u pray to God and your brother cause he def did some amazing work for you to be living while being this lucky.

Though this is an absolute masterpiece it's one with flaws, it's made to make you think and I will be talking about this for months to anyone who wants to discuss this. the possibility of finding psychopaths before they are born or the punishment and irony of the show I have so many different views of this that I'd love to rewatch and discuss with someone.

A heart-warming and emotional series about young love

For a 3-episode series, I went in with little expectation as I knew they would just rush into things and the freedom that a full-length series possess on developing characters will be lost here. But this was surprisingly good. The series gently touched on a lot of topics and I have nothing but appreciation for that successful attempt.

The story dives in to the school life of Best, who is secretly in love with a basketball player named Dew but has no courage to talk to him let alone confess his love. Egged on by his friends, he decides to write a love song for him which he gets a chance to perform during the school festival. Dew is enamoured by the performance and rest is history. Or is it?

What starts as a soft and sweet story about secret love, supportive friends and finding the inner strength to not keep it a secret anymore suddenly takes a different turn. Only when you feel that things are looking bright for the 2 main leads reality hits like a truck. Not everything falls in to place because you made a genuine attempt. We see the characters confronting jealousy, self-acceptance, homophobia and family pressure. Will their young love survive all these?

War and Yin did an exemplary job at playing the characters and their chemistry together was undeniably good. The supporting characters aptly shouldered the responsibility of pushing the narrative forward.

In conclusion, this series plays with your heart-strings and you feel a plethora of emotions. If a series about puppy love and strong emotions is right up your alley give this one a watch

Cute ending, nothing much happened

The wedding was nice. I think gathering everyone together to say goodbye to the TharnType franchise was nice. The two got their happy ending. All is well that ends well, right? I also like that the whole episode revolved mostly around Tharn and Type and their relationship. They are the main couple and focus of the series after all. I am disappointed that a big part of this episode were recaps and flashbacks to parts we have already seen in the other TharnType series. We still got a lot of new footage, so it wasn’t a complete waste of time.

My complaint is that Techno did not get a happy ending. We have seen everyone get a partner, live their lives, etc. yet Techno has no significant other. I am kind of sad about it, because he was probably my favorite character.

And with this being a conclusion to the TharnType story, I feel like it's appropriate to add that they have left certain things unresolved. Or making very little sense with how they wrapped it up. Which is a bit disapointing.

Got me out of my kdrama slump

Book Hangover - the feeling when a reader finishes a book—usually fiction—and they can't stop thinking about the fictional world that has run out of pages. Never had this feeling for a drama before, and I'm still reeling from the effect this drama has had on me.
Call it love, is a show I didn't know I was looking for the past year. I've been in a kdrama slump and have dropped multiple shows this year, Call it love was one of them. I watched the first episode and everything about the show just felt very depressing (the sad faces of the ML and FL, the colour effects). But something made me pick it back up recently and I'm so glad I did.

This show is what I felt was missing from the recent kdrama world, the reason I fell in love with kdramas - passionate, undying love stories; just stories about two people and how they fall in love. A love that in this current world that almost seems impossible to have.

Call it love was heartfelt and intense. All the emotions felt by two people just expressed through their eyes. I felt their love and their pain. They way their relationship progressed was so seamless and natural.
The ML and FL did a great job show casing their flawed characters. At times they felt like the most boring people in the world but you are still rooting for them. The FL did a great acting job showing her attraction to the ML at the same time the pain of being attracted to him and not being able to tell him who she is. My first show of the the ML and now i'm going to watch more of his shows.

On a lighter note, I just wish the ML put his hair up :), annoyed me a lot.

I guess being childish and dramatic runs in the family

Out of all of the TharnType series and specials, I think this one is the best. And that is not saying much. The two are still as dysfunctional as they were, nothing has really changed. We do get quite a few scenes with them either confessing their love to each other or being sweet and cute.

Seeing Type’s father… let’s just say I get it why Type is the way he is. I really thought no one will beat Type when it comes to being overdramatic and childish. His father is even worse, so I guess it runs in the family. I do admit that some of the scenes were quite difficult to sit through. But then some were quite fun. However, I really enjoyed Type’s relationship with his mother. She seems like a very lovely person, and I am glad that she is so accepting of not only her son and Tharn, but others as well. She might not fully understand it, but she does not hate either.

I really enjoyed Type’s conversation with his friend that he had a fight in the first season. I think that was a very nice conclusion to that conversation. And while I do find it extremely annoying that Type insists on not being gay, just being in love with Tharn, I cannot completely disregard the fact that a man doesn’t necessary have to be gay to be in a relationship with another man. He can be bi, pan, etc. I am sure that the series creators were not really thinking about this but were going for the cliché “not gay, just love you” thing that seems to be popular.

The whole Lhong thing – once again, NO! Why did they keep pushing for his redemption?

The Blessed Bride is another short series that had potential but failed completely to create the great drama expected effect. There are too many loopholes and all kinds of loose ends. The acting was fine but the chemistry for the leading couple kept losing effect as the story keeps going without proper progression. The intended twist at the end is more of a “what the heck happened” instead of a “great feel ending” which was rushed and left the viewer asking how it all did happened. Overall, this drama ended with no redeeming qualities!

Lhong does NOT deserve a redemption arc

I feel like the line above should be enough to explain why this special deserves one star. Actually, I would go into negatives if I could.

What Lhong did to Tar is not excusable. There is not a single bad thing that could have happened to him in the past that would make me think that his actions can be explained. He is evil. That’s it. Giving us a sob story about his past does not change the fact that he not only completely ruined the life of a teenage boy, but also continued to blackmail and manipulate the said boy. Let’t not forget him ruining his friend’s happiness again and again. And trying to kill the said friend’s boyfriend. Yeah, yeah, he hesitated. Does not mean he is a good person.

I am honestly so pissed that someone (aka MAME) had the audacity to think that he deserves a second chance. Or that the viewers would care about his sob story. No. The only thing we care about and are still upset about is the fact that he walked free. There were absolutely no real consequences for his actions. Sure, he lost a friend. Boo-hoo, go cry in the corner. What he should have gotten is either a life in prison or in some sort of mental hospital.

I do have to give it to the actor though. He is really good at switching the emotions in his scenes. And I do think he did a good job portraying Lhong. It does take talent to make you hate someone as much as we all hate Lhong.

The Quality of this amazing masterpiece

When the poster came out, I didn't expect much. After watching ep 1, I became completely obsessed. The chemistry between the two male protagonists is so deadly. The casting choice is very good, especially Jaewon's character. Lim Jisub's voice, his look..overall, he is Jaewon himself .The
cinematography, sound, editing (although there was a little loose (cut)in some places but still ok)It's really cool, and the bgm are also masterpiece , especially op song (wetter's who)
The tension between the two main characters is the main reason for watching this movie. It's different from any other story, any other BLS.I haven't seen this kind of tention since ITSAY & TNEIYH. It has been only the beginning of 2023, but among all the bls currently released, The Eight Sense is the 1st also have high expectations for the remaining 4eps.

Predictable and typical Republican period drama, with bad acting and propaganda.

"The Last Princess" is another mediocre and bad Republic of China period drama. How many dramas do China needs to make about this era? I understand it is part of history, but every year there are too many replicas of this type of drama, and it is gotten old and boring.

The drama is set during the early years of the Republic of China. The story follows a fallen noblewoman, an aspiring doctor during the Qing dynasty, and the son of a great family who becomes a soldier.

Zhang: He looks young for his age and is another one-dimensional actor who can't act. His onscreen chemistry with Rain Wang is not great, either. The entire ensemble's acting ability is also bad.

Actress Rain Wang couldn't act either; her crying was awkward and showed no emotion. She appeared to laugh rather than cry in most scenes, especially from episode 20 onward. Her character, Yurong, is annoying, too self-righteous, stubborn, and her husband is also weak. He can’t control or put his foot down when she is stubborn and stupid. The plot is also predictably stupid.

I have watched 26 episodes already and want to see the ending since I have invested so much time in it. I am giving this drama a 4.5 rating. Predictable ending where he miraculously recovered from amnesia and join the communist party.

Too slowww and draggy

I know many reviewers are loving this drama. The whole setting and storyline is great. The acting is fantastic. The delivery.. uhm, this is where it gets draggy. Walking in slow motion like 0.5x speed, 3 different angles of sitting on the bench, or in the kitchen… sigh. Typical kdrama style.

I’m glad Lee Sung Kyung is diversifying her roles, away from the usual romcoms, but I didn’t really like her in this role. Did she pull it off? Yes! Kim Young Kwang also delivered his role well. Maybe 12 episodes would have been better? The general mood was just depressing. I was fast forwarding too much the last few episodes. The ending was realistic, but a happy one ;) No real memorable song in the OST, which is a shame.

It’s a melodrama, real slowwww; so just be prepared before starting this. I will say it’s better than The Interest of Love ;);)

A very strange and enjoyable drama but not for everybody.

1/ STORY:

The story is simple and cliché about a woman falling for the wrong guy and things become complicated when he falls for her too. Nothing special and the story could be summarized with 50 words. The good thing of this drama is that it throws the viewer into an intimate connection with the characters using a pinkish filter and a very slow pace. The viewer is able to put himself in their shoes to understand where they come from and why they do what they do. The drama is a gallery of portraits and characters with their qualities and flaws and their understanding of the situation they are in. They are simple people stuck in their own little world but they face hurdles that force them change their point of view and open themselves to each other because they care for each other and they want to do things right in their own pov.

2/ CHARACTERS / CAST:

Very relatable and endearing lead characters. They have their flaws but these are understandable considering what they went throught. FL is the main character. She is reckless and daring but also protective and caring. ML is a loner who suffered a lot from others' actions but he is taken aback by FL. Lee Sung Kyung and Kim young Kwang did great portraying these two characters. Loved the emotions and lack of emotions they conveyed. Secondary characters are good supporting characters despite being less interesting.

3/ OST: Good without being special.

4/ REWATCH VALUE: Not sure I will rewatch it. It is very slow and it is not a roller coaster of emotions. It is more like an intimate experience.

5/OVERALL:

I loved watching this drama week in week out and I totally recommend it to the ones who are not afraid of slow paced drama and are ready to feed themselves with the words and emotions of the different characters.
