I thought this was supposed to be comforting

I thought they did a great job for most of the show and I felt like I went through all those tough times with the characters. Then ML was packed off to Switzerland. I guess Sam-dal had to succeed on her own without him telling her to chew and it was his dream but come on. They only just found each other again. Nope, suddenly they can do anything and cope.

And the next thing: no real closure on the villain character. I guess she got cancelled too but we could have revelled in it a bit.

Overall I found it a great watch until the end when I found myself very grumpy.

My no.1 series.

I believe this is the best series from gmmtheev. I'm rewatching me and Thee because of the upcoming special episodes, first episode uploaded while I rewatched this series. If there is 1 series that is stuck in my head it is Me and Thee. Everything about this is amazing, making it one of my top series all time. I don't think there's anything I can hate. My first time watching was when this was airing and every new episode I had moments that I carried with me all week. I'm a big Narawin and this made me even more invested. Ever since it started airing till now I have been thinking about this on a daily base, so this is realllyyyy your sign to watch it. I even forced all my friends to watch it but many refused to... :(

Let me just start by the music and ost. The songs are fucking amazing. I love how they brought back แค่ในวันนั้น (Truth in the Eyes), the ost from We are the series. This song is one of my favourite songs. I lovedddd Thee and Peach dancing to it. One of the most romantic songs I know for sure. The music in Me and Thee is so good aswell. Especially the music for the special season. I'm not even joking I listened to the song 54 times in a week. Also I loveee Me and You.

What I LOVE about Me and Thee and a detail missed by non Thai speakers is the wordplay. Translated, the sentences from Thee are already very good and funny but in Thai they just hit diffferent. I LOVEEEE THEES SENTENCES. Like "Good night, stubborn one. Go to sleep early. Don't be stubborn with that pillow you rest your dreams upon" is stuck in my head 24/7. All of Khun thee's sentences are just fucking iconic. Like Lookpeach is also a word with a meaning. It just makes the series more affectionate and cute. I don't want to make this review to long by breaking down all of their sentences but I do suggest looking them up online and you'll find the deeper meaning in to their word. Also Tang sati Khun Thee is just amazing and I love that song in their Me and Thee after party. The dance was so funny.

What I loveee is to see WilliamEst as side characters. Est is made for Mok. His role as Po was already amazing and to be honest it somehow feels kinda similar to Mok. I feel really bad for Rome, but also for Thee. Both brothers feel like their whole personality it made up by themselves. To be honest, Rome feels more attached to his mom meanwhile to my opinion, it feels like Thee was a bit neglected because he was sent away from his family. Which explains his obsession with his mom's opera. William was also made for this role and he was the one who made me feel bad for both brothers. He is a different type emotional than Thee. Also Pond and William as brothers is just amazing. I also love to see Bonnie in this and I heard Emi is joining in those special episodes so that is gonna be amazing!! She played Lookplub so well and the relationship between her and Peachayarat is adorable.

Ok hear me out, Phuwin is sooo fucking handsome. He has always been but him as peach just.. I get Khun Thee. Like wdym you can be beautiful all fucking shots. I love his expressions to much and if I have 1 celeb crush it has to be Phuwin. His visuals are just sooooo peak ugh. Yes, I had to write a paragraph about it. His hair falls amazing each time. Also I love Pond with shorter hair. I love how he as Peach did Photografy, it somehow really suited him.

The shots in this serie is fucking amazing. Ofcourse X Nuttapong directed this, as the goat should. I love his work soooooo much. I like reading a lot but I never heard of laWila and I do wanna see more of her work. I will try to find it somewhere. Also Ako Supaporn together with Nichakorn produced this. I don't know anything about Nichakorn but I do really like Ako. Like alllll of her series are good, not even joking. The whole crew and actors are just perfect.

One of the plot things I missed while it was airing is that Peach was shooting for ARSENI... how stupid of me. Genuinely how did I miss that? I was really sleepy or something when I started watching this for the first time. The second time, I keep finding details I missed hahaha. One thing I stayed confused about was PerthSanta's storyline. Like yes, Tawan and Aran broke up but I was confused why and that stays the same. To my guess it was Tawan being extremely jealous of Aran and Peach but still... Tawan was btw a hugeee red flag and I lowkey enjoy it (guilty as charged). I have to say I feel bad for Tawan aswell like his jealousy is toxic, yes, but he was clearly feeling bad about everything.

I love seeing JJ and Godji in this!! I feel like both JJ and AJ were really busy last year (2025), they were basically everywhere. And I feel like most fans are also very familiar with Godji. I have to say Godji makes me feel happy each time seeing her. I love actual representation. She always plays the same type of roles but she is kind of like the one who makes me relieved each series. Also JJ is sooo iconic. Same as Godji, he has the same type of role each time and it makes me laugh fucking loud. And I mean it. I loved how he caught Thee and Peach as first it was soo funny.

Love how it's edited and the transitions of shots. The little sounds are soo funny and add a feeling aswell, it doesn't feel overdone. I like how they styled it, the colour pallets are everything. Especially the house from Thee, it's amazing. I'm obsessed with it.

Pond was madeeee for this role. I love how the series has clear Consent. Even when Khun Thee kisses Peach he asks for permission first. Pond is genuinely soo good in acting as Thee you can tell he is enjoying it in the behind the scene's and in the series itself. Khun thee's dramatic reactions on things Peach says is everything. I really like how Peach can change Thee's behaviour. Like Thee does something he doesn't like and Thee listens to Peach when Peach tells him to stop. That propose made me laugh like crazyyy but many other moments were funny as hell to. I love how Thee really thought he was gonna keep the size of Peach's finger for the ring in his pocket. It's like a Y/N story but the Y/N thinks the mafia boss is insane (which he is).

A bit about RomeMOk but the forbidden relationship between RomeMok really makes me sad. At the ending Mok was fired and he could finally be with Rome but the yearning... I have to say I do like Rome and Thee's parents, however, I don't like the rules they made. I just can't wait for more RomeMok.

I'm dying about the BTS I would never be able to do a straight face if I was acting in Me and Thee. Love seeing Parker in the series!! For those who don't know, the dog in episode 9 is Pond's dog. I love how Parker is actually from Pond, so he is familiar with Pond and to my guess also with Phuwin. Makes the stress of the dog lower aswell. Overall, again, my favorite series and I do give it a 10/10, no matter what. I bet that in a few years this will be cringe asf but that's what I like about it. Can y'all tell I'm a Narawin ahhhahha. I just love PondPhuwin sooo much and this series deserves like 10 more seasons.

Perfection!

Now this is what you call an amazing drama. It has all the elements you need and it was executed with perfection.
I loved how they mixed Thai and Chinese in this drama, my two favorite languages. And loved the Chinese music.
It has dark elements, but also beautiful elements and a lot of good life lessons in it. The cinematography was stunning!!
It is always an extra joyful thing when they have short extra clips at the end of an episode.
The fighting scenes were done great!
And a little detail is that i liked the tikking sound effect, it was exactly what made the excution of this drama even more perfect.

The whole cast did such a great job!
Krist was amazing, i didn't even recognize him at first!
And who needs a BL when you can have the fantastic bromance chemistry of Sky and Nani. They have more chemistry than a whole lot of BL couples out there.

I highly recommend watching this drama.

An Absolute 10/10: Incredible Chemistry, Unforgettable Moments, and a Magical OST

I just finished Never-Ending Summer and I absolutely loved it! It’s such a beautiful, emotional drama. I loved following them when they were 18—seeing them fall in love, sharing their big dreams, and facing all the struggles and obstacles together before everything fell apart.
Seeing them again as adults was so bittersweet at first. Zhou Wan looked like a successful, accomplished woman who has grown up and totally moved on from the past. On the other hand, Lu Xixiao became a famous painter, but you could feel that he is still broken inside by the past and her betrayal. Yet, he was still so ready to forgive her as long as she loves him..
The chemistry between the main leads is amazing, but Lu Xixiao completely stole my heart. I loved how he wears his emotions on his face and is just a total open book. He doesn't hide his feelings at all and makes you feel everything x100000. Episode 20 completely broke me—the scene where he keeps calling her phone until she finally answers, and the scene where he imagines her dancing with him... those moments are just unforgettable. This is my very first drama with Zhou KeYu, but it's definitely not my last!
Also, I have to mention the OST because it is pure magic. It is perfectly in sync with the vibes of the show and makes every single emotional and powerful scene hit so much harder. Highly recommend!

Updated After Season 2

Why did I watch season 2 after watching season 1? I think I was hoping they would have taken criticism from this season and made it better. They didn't. Season 1 can be summed up in 1 word. Kissing. That's the only plot there is at all. Jealousy for no reason, pseudo s&m, it was all just really really bad.

It's really my fault

I think the only series I've seen that is worse than Tide of Love Season 2, is Tide of Love Season 1. There are so many series that could use a second season... and somehow this one got the go ahead? Storyline is bad, acting is bad, chemistry is bad, set locations are bad, my beer now tastes... bad... you get what I'm saying. This was so unnecessary. But I did it to myself by watching it in the first place knowing how bad season 1 was.

Not Bad

I like the thriller BL genre a lot, and this one delivered in many areas. We have our anti-hero, our twist, and the chemistry between the leads is not bad. I did think it was odd that our naive lead would be THAT naive and really not be able to recognize differences he easily should have, but I won't give too much away for those who haven't seen it yet. It's worth a watch, but it's not making my top 10 list for this year.

As a huge fan of crime shows and police procedurals, I was completely hooked on this series! It’s honestly one of the best investigative dramas I’ve watched in a long time. The premise is so refreshing. It follows a forensic artist who joins the police force to solve crimes using art and psychology, all while trying to untangle a traumatic mystery from his own past. The way the show uses art history to deduce facts about the killers made it even more gripping. The university scenes were some of my absolute favorites, along with the chess match and the red jacket scene. Just brilliant.

There were times I had to binge two or three episodes in a row because it was just impossible to turn off. There wasn't a single boring moment. The writing is incredibly well-crafted, and it handles the tragic motives behind each crime with a lot of sensitivity. Every single character is well-developed, and the entire cast deserves a ton of credit for bringing such complex, layered characters to life. Plus, the show does a great job balancing high-tension, suspenseful moments with lighter, funnier scenes.

As for the two leads, they were absolutely perfect and did an amazing job. The relationship between Shen Yi and Du Cheng starts off incredibly tense, filled with mistrust and resentment over a past event, but it slowly evolves from initial resistance into genuine friendship, respect, and trust. I can’t wait to start season two! Highly recommend.

Take it for what it is

We all knew going in that this was going to be a BoatOat guilty pleasure BL with a whatsapp novel feel to it. It's subgenre malepreg fanfic at it's finest. If you go in expecting more than you should, you may be disappointed. But if you go in knowing exactly what it is and why you are watching it, you're going to love it. Plainly put, we are all looking forward to that over the top naughtiness we came to love in My Stubborn while getting our Alpha/Omega itch scratched as well. Hold on tight and enjoy the ride that is to come.

Inception-esque

I have seen a lot of bad series defended lately as "art". This one actually deserves that title. The series focuses on two actors filming another series and falling into lust/love along the way. We truly see more of the second series than we do Deep In, but I'm certain it's intentionally to keep you drawn in the way the actors find themselves drawn in. The chemistry between the two leads is not perfection, but I'm not upset about it either. The story itself moves so well that I have to look and see if the glasses are on or off to know which series we're supposed to be in at the moment. That might sound like a negative comment, but I assure you it is not. Looking forward to see how they wrap this one up.

Yesss!

Korean BLs are so hit or miss and I am thrilled to say that this one is a hit. There is a strong storyline, creative writing, and the actors are not only believable in their line delivery, but there are no dead fish lips. With my ADHD I often times watch series as background noise while I'm doing other things, but I knew this one was something special when I found myself stopping what I was doing to rewind and focus on what I was watching. Even without the romance, this is a good series that really keeps you engaged.

she fell first, he fell WAY harder.

Wow wow wow this drama completely took me by surprise, I never expected a drama I randomly started watching at 9 pm on a Friday night to completely take over my heart. Everything about this is amazing, the leads have ELECTRIFYING chemistry. You can feel every bit of hurt, sadness, angst, and happiness they portray through the screen. This story is paced really well, even the reunion arc where they weren't on good terms didn't drag on for too long. This one will stick with me for a while, and quietly made its way to my all time favorite dramas list. Honestly what sells this for me so well is the casting of the 2 leads, they made an already good drama so much more amazing because of their portrayal of the characters. Their acting felt so natural it felt like I was watching a real couple and not some characters, it's some of the best chemistry I've seen in a cdrama and I mean that genuinely. Everything felt so real and not forced.

my favorite scenes: their first dance in episode 7, the heartbreaking series of back to back phone calls after the breakup, the reunion scene where the female lead shows up with a new look (no bangs) and where the male lead looks absolutely heartbroken, and the make up scene in episode 26 *whew that one was steamy*!!!

Hiding hurts the pride

This was a very cute series, short and sweet and just the right amount of goofy and serious. The cast were great, and I loved how each character had a distinct personality that shined through in their interactions with each other. The photography and lighting were beautiful, and the jazzy soundtrack was on point with the setting.

I also loved the relationship between the niece and the aunt and how the script used them to show the differences between queer acceptance in Korea and how that changed a lot in even just one generation. I particularly loved the discussion around the ambivalence between hiding your true self for safety reasons and wanting to live as your most authentic self and how often times those two wishes can become hard to reconcile.

The best part of the series for me was seeing these women be out and proud about being lesbians. A lot of sapphic shows avoid labeling characters at all costs, and while that has its place and is important representation to have, it can quickly become an excuse to queerbait and sidestep actual representation of queer people, so it was a breath of fresh air seeing all the characters in this series be open about who they are. Overall, this was a lovely show to binge in an hour and I highly recommend it if you want to watch something light and funny.

A Mediocre Soap Opera featuring Cops

1. Pacing is too slow
2. Way too much makeup on both leads, sheesh! (The finally eased up 2/3rds of the way thru!)
3. Mediocre production values across the board. Direction, lighting, sets, costumes -- everything was subpar.)
4. MDL rating way too high
5. Female lead (Elvira) is a weak actress for such a complex role, seems lifeless too often -- and her performance drags down the more than capable ML. And she's ridiculously small and thin for the role. Yes, we see that high heeled boots with lifts.
6. The story has some nice twists, although most are predictable. The plot is the strength of this show, and it gets better as it goes. It's the only thing that got me to the finish line
7. Qin Jun Jie fans should watch this series because he steals the show. I suspect it was really his story all along.
8. This isn't a quality crime drama with MEH soap opera moments. This is actually a quality soap opera with MEH crime drama elements. So sometimes you'll see scenes that make no cop sense but instead romantic sense. If that makes you nervous, don't watch this series.
9. Joker fans will enjoy the villain, but more and more I see queer looking actors exploited as villains. Hmm.
10. The title annoyed me as a bad fit.

Overall I'd tell anyone to pass on this series.

Strong start, but lost its heart along the way

I honestly wasn't expecting Dazzling to grab me as quickly as it did.

At first, I thought the female lead was a little too cocky. But that impression disappeared almost immediately. She simply knew how to stand her ground, even if she did it in her own unconventional way. That confidence made her incredibly easy to root for, and I quickly grew attached to her.

What I loved most was watching two complete opposites slowly learn to fit into each other's lives. Neither of them tried to change the other for long. They acknowledged what the other person needed and made space for it. The air conditioner subplot is probably my favorite example of this because it perfectly captured how much they cared for one another. I also loved seeing the female lead slowly open herself up to a more domestic lifestyle and embrace experiences that were completely new to her.

The ML was so loving and thoughtful, always making room for the female lead in his life. To me their bond felt not only romantic, but also like found family. There was so much trust and quiet affection between them that I found myself looking forward to every scene they shared.

Another thing I really appreciated was seeing the female lead become part of the family. Instead of just living with them, she genuinely wanted to help. Watching her come up with ideas to improve the family shop showed how much she had grown. She felt mature, balanced, and comfortable with herself.

Even the male lead's mother fascinated me. She wasn't an easy character to like, but I could understand why she became the way she was. She clearly cared, even if she struggled to show it in healthy ways. I kept waiting for the moment where she would finally break free from all the pain she was carrying. The drama seemed to hint at that several times, but it never quite reached the emotional payoff I was hoping for.

Sadly, the warm cozy feeling from the start fades away by middle of the drama.

The biggest disappointment for me was the male lead. In the beginning, his kindness made me look up to him. Later, though, it felt like he carried everyone's burdens entirely on his own. Instead of building a life together with the female lead and his family or at least finding a way that could help support his family without him having to hold everything together, he seemed to sacrifice everything for everyone else. What had once felt loving slowly became emotionally exhausting.

The female lead also started acting in ways that confused me. Earlier, she had become such a grounded and mature character, but suddenly she was participating in childish revenge schemes that were presented as funny teasing. For me, it completely undermined the beautiful trust that had made their relationship feel so special in the first place.

One thing I'll always give this drama credit for is its structure. Before watching, I read the synopsis and expected the school setting to appear much earlier. Instead, the story carefully built its characters and relationships first. When I realized what the writers were doing, I thought it was brilliant. It felt like the drama was setting itself up for a really meaningful coming-of-age story where the school arc would naturally become the next chapter.

But instead of continuing to develop the relationships and dreams it had spent so much time building, the story began relying on outside drama. The shop, endless admirers, misunderstandings, and conflicts that felt forced started taking over.

Eventually, I reached a point where I stopped watching. Not because I hated the drama, but because the feeling that had made me fall in love with it had disappeared. The beginning felt safe, warm, and full of genuine love between its characters. By the middle, that feeling had been replaced with conflict that, to me, existed more to stretch the story than to deepen it. That might actually be what disappoints me the most.

Dazzling introduced characters I genuinely cared about and built relationships that felt authentic and comforting. I truly believed it was setting itself up to become something special. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way, it lost the heart that made me fall in love with it in the first place.
