Sign language

Only really watched for Li Ming and Hearts relationship. i wish we had more subtitles for Hearts sign language but I understand that the director was going for the viewer to understand how Ling Ming understood Heart, before learning sign language however me being American I can't really understand Thai let alone Thai sign language. But based on context clues and what was going on. I was able to figure out almost everything that was happening. The acting was great and told the story really well.

Not my favorite...

Boun and Prem are some of my favorite actors since I seen them together and until we meet again. the storyline however took a few episodes to understand I didn't really understand what was happening with son and why specifically he had to go and deal with collecting the debt that was owed to his father. I think I would like to have seen Boun play more of the bad boy role. To me Prem doesn't give off that vibe. I think he does better with the soft roles like his character Team in Until we meet again

For me a 10/10 rating drama.

This drama is love . Every character was really great .

This drama is not just about the lead character its about the entire hospital crew & their patient. Nurse , doctor, resident, students , intern & a lot of patients & their family's story are showed here .I love the doctors who learn from mistakes and rejoice over small achievements and nurses who do their best to provide medical care and share joy and sorrow with the guardians. Also their patience with their patient & their family members.

There wasn't any intense scene from the operation . as I thought I might have to skip some scene but I didn't .
This drama is filled with great music, jokes, life lessons, friendship, food and love. The friendship between those 5 is what I always wanted in my life but never got . and the 5 of them got their pair too (^///^) I thought one of them may stay single forever or there might be a triangle but relief there wasn't .
Also I wasn't really expecting Suk Hyung and Min Ha to kiss (oh my eyes q(≧▽≦q) ) I was so shocked & happy at the same time like I mean what its happen wahhhh ^0^ I felt like screaming ( ⓛ ω ⓛ *)

My favorite character was Ik Jun he is so funny & caring at the same time . Everybody needs a friend like him, I will miss him also his son Woo Ju also his jokes also the way he looks at Song Hwa also the way Song Hwa smiles at his jokes.
I am really sad that this wonderful drama came to an end and even sadder that there wouldn't be a third season as I like to watch them. I love this ot5 character & will look forward to their future project .

Boring

After watching 7th episode I had decided to drop it because it felt like wasting of time . But after read the review I had decided to continue it but nothing interesting found . It was just about Hao family ,their daughter came to kingdom to maintain their reputation and nobody would took their advantage . The whole drama was revolving around it .
So I can't bear it ,so dropping it after wating 14 episodes . Even so powerful actors were looked weak in acting due to boring story .
I didn't recommend it .
Except me other reviews of the drama were positive .
So watched its few episodes and then decide .

Reincarnation

I like the concept of The reincarnation but the story developed a little too slowly. it took me a while to understand Pharm and Dean were Intouch and Korn. However near the end where we see them remember and the twist of them being born into each other's family was an amazing reveal and very well done. I wish we seen more of Intouch and Korn's family reaction to finding out about Intouch and Korn's reincarnation. I love Win and Teams relationship, even thought we only got a glimpse of those two.

This show opens with Fern Pimchanok in the main role labeled with the 'Cold Female Lead' tag, yet she is pretty hysterical. Scene in epi 3 where she slapped David Asavanond was hilarious. Nevertheless, I couldn't help but thinking that really wasn't very cold of her. She is depicted as a "she-devil", but all I could see was that she was firm with her decisions at work and did not let others make her insecure. She had guts and also showed her feelings clearly, I found her actually vulnerable for it. Who was shady was Tao Sattaphong's main guy. Also her only parent did not really have her back. Not to mention the mother-daughter duo of leeches, who smiled and spoke sweetly, but the more they were the real devils... Though one cannot really hate Nara Thepnupha, THIS girl so deserves main role. Not just her acting, also her dancing!:)

Who is unwatchable is Pete Thongchua (no surprise there), who perhaps belongs on some plastic-surgery advertisement poster but not into acting. Who owns his acting is Tao Sattaphong of course, somehow he looked... really gay in this. I didn't even wish for romance in between him and Fern. After just 5 episodes, this started to drag for me, the screaming, the plot, all the characters. Even after the relationships started evolving, I didn't really care for it. And Tao Sattaphong's character here could just be gay, I would have not problem with it.

A Cliche Medley Done Right

A perfect afternoon binge with all the right cliches that will give you all the feels... Or something like that

This is one of those short dramas that doesn't really bring anything new to the table but samples and mixes a whole lot of good stuff and makes some kind of fusion, madly deal out of it. Single father, kid with cancer, first love meet again, fan-behaviour, evil reporters, betrayal, sucky parenting, misunderstandings ... Things we have seen done pretty much the same way as here but in a bunch of dramas. This one just puts them together in to one. And well I love it, I really do.

This is also a story about gossip, those who spread it, those affected by it and those who try to fight it...That part was less fun, I also found some of the scenes a bit cringey as I really hate it when people in the present are filmed talking to younger versions of themselves or loved ones. Connect to the past by flashback all you want but once you start mixing them it becomes just to much.

However the overall feel to this was good, I found myself smiling a lot and thinking ooooh how cute so I decided to forgive all the wrongdoings and go with it.

So if you like the above mentioned cliches you will love this if you do not then you know what to do

P.s I especially love how they show the kids in the hospital as kids with idols, dreams, fears... And not just as representatives of their illnesses

It's Worth A Watch

Let me start by saying, I am a huge fan of Minah. I'd say she's probably my top 5 favorite actress / entertainer. I've seen every drama she was cast in and the last few dramas I felt the casting was mismatched, for lack of a better term.

The story itself is pretty good which is what initially caught my attention, then the cast. However, the male lead acting falls flat at times, and I thought he was purposely acting that way due to his character but I'm not so sure. No matter the emotion, the ML just seems like he's going through the motions without really feeling anything. I've been watching this drama slowly because for a lot of the episodes it's hard to watch.

There have been a few times where I felt like the chemistry between the leads are okay but overall I don't really sense it. If the drama didn't include a possible romance, I would get the ghost/human angle...but I don't know, it feels like something is missing.

As the drama moves forward, the story gets better with mystery, even if you find it predictable...it's still a good mystery. I'm a little shocked the story isn't rating higher but with how I'm finding the acting and overall chemistry, that could be the reason why.

Additionally, I do like the side stories/cases happening in the drama and episode 6 made me want to continue watching the show because oh my goodness, it pulled at the heartstrings.

Overall, if you like this genre, give it a watch and see how you like it. And if you're a fan of the case, definitely watch and support.

its not about the title

This drama is almost 10 years old but historical things don't change so its fine. I first thought the drama would be about the journey of Gumiho’s finding The Gu Family Book but he only got the purpose and gives up on finding the book.

The drama is based on an orphan gumiho who has lived between humans and as human. But once the villain appears he recognizes himself, learns to control his strengths, falls in love, and wants to become human and spend his life with his lover. To become human he has to pray for 100 days and then find GU FAMILY BOOK. But a whole lot of political plot is built using the Japanese invasion. I enjoyed the drama that I forgot there is a book to be found. And I am a whole lot disappointed at the end of the drama cause there was not a single attempt of finding GU FAMILY BOOK. Both the father and son failed to take an attempt to find the book. I felt like a fool at the end of the drama for not seeing it. Although the end was satisfactory it wasn’t for me.

I think the writers should have named it just GU FAMILY, cause that sums up the story. There is gumiho who comes to acknowledge his identity and use his powers for good, falls in love, and wants to become human. Also, there is a demon who had a more heartbreaking love story.

The acting was awesome tbh. Kang Chi aka Lee Seung gi was awesome as gumiho. He never disappoints with his acting chops.
Suzy as Yeo Wol playing a tomboy girl, swinging swords with perfection was eye pleasing.
Choi Jin Hyuk had a small role but he got a more impactful short story and guess what I wanted more of CJH.

I wasn’t impressed by the ending so there is no rewatch for me.

If you want to watch this drama don’t connect it with a title which I did and then you will be able to enjoy it more. The story and chemistry of the leads are superb.

If you're looking for revenge....this aint it

Well, I made it to episode 7 before deciding to just drop this all together.

I absolutely love revenge dramas. It's what led me to start watching Korean dramas in the first place.

I'm not familiar with none of the three female leads. I've never seen any of these three in any dramas I've watched since the summer of 2020.

I liked the chemistry of the cast but there was no strong connections.

You get the proverbial bully and politics thrown in and you get some type of drama.

I love strong leads but when I get 3 strong female leads I blow out a sigh of relief because Korean actresses are always portrayed to be stupid and poor. Yes, you have three females each with different backgrounds-there always have to be that one token super rich female-but they all came together to become the best friends ever. It even got to the point where they were 언니 (unnies) throughout this drama. That's the good part.

The bad: THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO REVENGE IN THIS NONE WHATSOEVER!!!! The only thing that happened from the seven episodes I watched was glue in the chair, water thrown on you, spiked drink....pranks, not revenge.
Then it turned into a so-called 'peaceful revenge'. Peaceful revenge??? What the heck is peaceful revenge??? I never even heard of that! In one episode one character explained this whole drama at best: females getting together and hanging out because that's all it was.

Then the end of the seventh episode made absolutely no sense: each female gets threatening notes claiming they know what these ladies did.....I'm thinking what did they do? No seriously, what did they do besides get together and have no clue as to how to exact revenge on their husbands and a principle?
All this drama was about was these ladies and a teenager getting together just to hang out.

The music was even worse. They kept playing that Italian song that builds up. To this day I don't even know what the name of that song is. I just know it's been played ever since I was a kid and I've been around for a few decades (not saying how many).

The screenwriters obviously didn't do any homework on how to exact revenge people who deserve it. This was the reason I dropped this drama. It dragged and it became the same thing in every episode. No build up, no revenge, no nothing.

What a show. I really loved the different characters and their stories, this felt like an extended "Hometown Cha Cha Cha" with less romance and more focus on life and relationships. Sometimes, the characters were annoying and frustrating, overcomplicating things because they wouldn't mind their own business and always put their noses where they shouldn't be, especially the grandmas.... I wish we would have gotten more of Hyeon's and Yeongju's life as parents with the baby, also the dynamic with Hosik and Ingwon would have been interesting. The show offers a diverse set of storylines with great actors to portray those stories and feelings in a way that always touched my heart. Studio Dragon knows how to make a show, so naturally the cinematography was stunning, Jeju island is truly such a beautiful place. The OST was just fitting and very, very nice. Overall, a beautiful, heartbreaking, and sometimes funny show about life, its people and their relationships.

I am because you are

First time ever to review here.
This drama gave me so much joy, laughter, crying, a bit of angst! If you are a fan of xanxia, are open for unexpected tosses and turns, this is the story for you.

The story: the main message - for me - was that the world is a better place when we are looking out for each other, selflessly. Of course like in a proper xanxia, there is good and there is evil, but like often in life, you find the worst in the home of the good and one of the best in the home of the bad. They say they are enemies, but the real enemy is outside of the two opposites and eventually they fight it together.
The power of friendship is strong in this story, and the power of love truly amazes.
Last but not least: there is a fantastic sense of humour and comedy in the storyline. Totally credible and definitely not out of place. As it suits so naturally as a proverbial glove the characters, and it’s just sooo funny! Wait and see!

The acting : I’ve seen the two Mains earlier works and liked it. What I learnt now, is that they are experienced actors, since childhood, properly trained at that. And that shows: emotions are manifested in a convincing manner, there is no overacting; there is generosity, sincerity and genuine nature in everything they do. The same goes for the second couple.
All supporting actors did such a good job, the father of the girls is absolutely brilliant! You’ll see!

The background music: honestly, it took me a few episodes to warm up to it, but then it got me hooked and now I’m listening to it even in public transport! I don’t know the artists but heard there are some big names there; you feel the quality of voice and production.

Rewatch value? Already rewatched is twice. And it’s not that there is no avalanche of other dramas out there at the moment. Nothing beats this one. Not for now. Why don’t you give it a try as well?

Good chemistry and good acting from the stars, but the storyline was a bit…

Talking about Nuengdiao… At first, he was a bit arrogant and selfish, but good at heart. As the story proceeds his character got a lot better, bold and fearless.

Palm, on the other hand, a bit shy, very hardworking and gentle. That's till no one messes with his loved ones.

Their chemistry was so good as I said before. I think palm's company did so much effect on Nuengdiao to his character to develop, but one thing I must say Palm was so whipped for Nuendiao.lol

Ben and Chopper… Just wow! I would have never imagined them together, but as always GMMTV surprise us.
At first, I didn't like what Ben did, but alright, he had his reasons…
Then we have Chopper, omg, his character is the one that I loved the most.
His friendship with Nuengdiao was very good, even though everything happening between their family..
We didn't get much of Ben and Chopper, but they left so much effect even with less screen time.

Now the storyline was a bit disappointing for me. I expected a lot more. Some unnecessary scenes, also deaths and not much reaction for it…like HOW?!.. WHY?!
It should have had been more emotional for other characters to…
We could have gotten more BEN and CHOPPER scenes!

Overall, in the end, what saved the show, for me, was their chemistry and acting.
Is it this what we call: bodyguard to friends and to lovers, lol

Very confusing plot

When I started watching it I thought it would be one of those cute mini dramas with a story that would hold me to the screen, however that's not what happened
I found the whole story very confusing which made me get a bit lost in what was happening. I have to admit that I was hoping it would be better because the synopsis caught my attention but it wasn't all that I imagined.
But not everything was bad, the acting, the chemistry and the friendships that existed throughout the drama were perfect.

P.S: until now I still can't understand that ending .....
